Shift-Work is the 13th album by the British rock band the Fall, released through Phonogram Records in 1991. The Fall started working on the album in 1990 while touring in support of Extricate. Mark E. Smith sacked guitarist Martin Bramah and keyboardist Marcia Schofield immediately after the Australian leg of the tour, reducing the lineup to four for the first time in band's history. Only one song ("Rose") from the sessions with Bramah and Schofield eventually appeared on the album (non-vinyl versions also included the single "White Lightning", originally recorded by The Big Bopper).

Luhr became a Porsche factory driver for the 1999 season. He won the 1999 Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland championship driving for the UPS Junior Team. In 2000, he moved to the American Le Mans Series, driving a Porsche 911 GT3-R for Dick Barbour Racing and partnering with Dirk Müller. The series begins with an investor offering to set up the feuding families into business making moonshine, and follows the families' attempt to run the business together. In an episode of Modern Family originally aired January 15, 2014, titled "Under Pressure," Cam is working as a gym teacher who has plans to let parents play dodgeball with each other at the school's open house, and wants to divide the two teams into Hatfields and McCoys. The school principal frowns upon this idea, however, Gloria and a competitive mother played by Jane Krakowski decide to settle their score with such a game.

The lighthouse was built by Leopod II Grand Duke of Tuscany in 1788; the light stone tower is 25 metres high and has a double balcony and lantern and was restored in 1915. The lighthouse is fully automated, operated by Marina Militare and identified by the code number 2072 E.F.; the lantern is at above sea level and emits a group of three white lightning flashes in a 14 seconds period visible up to 16 nautical miles. On the same tower is an additional light identified by the number 2072.2 E.F. that emits a red fixed light at 60 metres above sea level to warn the ships about the Capo Bianco shoal.

Rear spoiler and alloy wheels came standard on the SX, which made it the same appearance as the Japanese GT-R or American GT-S. The limited edition SX White Lightning with all white bumpers, side protectors and wheels was offered in 1989. At the time of his death in 2013, he had placed more singles on Billboards charts than any other artist in any genre. Following Jones' spell at number one, Johnny Horton returned to the top spot with "The Battle of New Orleans", which spent ten weeks at the peak of the chart.

Rudy Tabootie (voiced by E. G. Daily) is a 10-year-old fifth-grader who loves to draw, but Reggie Bullnerd (Candi Milo), the school bully, is always teasing him or getting him into trouble with Mr. Wilter (Robert Cait), Rudy's grumpy school teacher who strongly dislikes cartoons especially Rudy's passion for art. One day while in detention, Rudy discovers a piece of "White Lightning" chalk, which allows access to the ChalkZone, a place where everything and everyone that has ever been drawn in chalk and erased takes form as living or is tangible. He soon makes friends with Snap (Candi Milo), a small, blue, humanoid drawing made by Rudy when he was only eight. Snap wears a superhero uniform and is very adventurous and witty.

Hargus Melvin "Pig" Robbins (born January 18, 1938, in Spring City, Tennessee) is an American session keyboard player. Having played on records for many artists, including John Stewart, Dolly Parton, Connie Smith, Patti Page, Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, George Jones, Charlie Rich, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, John Hartford, Mark Knopfler, Ween, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, Roger Miller, David Allan Coe, Moe Bandy, George Hamilton IV, Sturgill Simpson, and Conway Twitty, he played on Roger Miller's Grammy Award-winning "Dang Me" in 1964. He is blind, having lost his sight at age four due to an accident involving his father's knife. Robbins learned to play piano at age seven, while attending the Nashville School for the Blind. He played his first session in 1957, with his first major recording being George Jones's "White Lightning".

In Look At It This Way, Curtiz is a columnist for Manhattan magazine while he is living in London, has a daughter named Gemma, and by the end of the novel has a partner named Victoria. In Masai Dreaming, Curtiz is in Africa researching a film about Claudia Cohn-Casson, and his relationship with Victoria is having "complications." Look At It This Way was made into a three- part, 180-minutes drama by the BBC in 1992, starring Kristin Scott Thomas; Cartwright wrote the screenplay. In Every Face I Meet was shortlisted for both the Booker Prize and the Whitbread Novel Award in 1995, and won a Commonwealth Writers Prize; Leading the Cheers won the Whitbread Novel Award in 1998; White Lightning was shortlisted for the Whitbread Novel Award in 2002.

Her film debut came as James Caan's girlfriend in the 1964 thriller Lady in a Cage, and appeared in the romantic drama The Young Lovers that same year. She had a recurring role on the daytime soap opera General Hospital and prominent roles in such films as The Spy with My Face (1965), C.C. and Company (1970), Brute Corps (1971), Welcome Home, Soldier Boys (1972), White Lightning (1973), The Thirsty Dead (1974) and Hollywood Man (1976). There are few live recordings of George Jones, particularly from his early days, which makes Live at Dancetown U.S.A. an interesting document. Recorded in June 1965 at a hall on Airline Drive in Houston during Jones's heydey in the Texas honky tonks, it shows the country star and his backing band the Jones Boys performing his biggest hits, including "White Lightning" and "She Thinks I Still Care," and offering between-song patter, such as when he tells the audience that he's taking a "liquor mission" halfway through the set. In addition to the Jones cuts, there are several instrumentals and nine songs performed by George's supporting vocalist Don Adams. Perhaps the biggest surprise in the set is the cover of the 1957 rock and roll song "Bony Moronie" by Larry Williams.

Marion Crane, played by Janet Leigh, traded a black 1956 Ford for a white 1957 Ford Custom in the Alfred Hitchcock film Psycho. The final shot in the film depicts the car being removed from a swamp, where it was submerged after Crane’s murder. A Ford Custom 500 was used as the family car in The Wonder Years from mid-Season 3 onwards A brown 1971 Custom 500 4-door sedan with a blue interior, equipped with a 429 Police Interceptor/Cobra Jet engine and black steel wheels with Cooper Tire Wide Runner Polyglas tires, appeared in the 1973 Burt Reynolds film White Lightning and is perhaps the most famous Custom 500 ever. Unusually, scenes of the movie depict the cars (several were wrecked during filming, including the barge jumping scene) with either a manual or automatic transmissions.

The ALMS also created a new class of competitors, known as GT2S, designed to allow racing cars based on production vehicles which had seats for four in a coupe or sedan body style.

The trail names are as follows: Easier Trails: Nova, Sneaky Pete, Dipsy Doodle, First Class Area, Lower Blue Streak, Snow Cat Alley More Difficult Trails: Adventure Alley, Upper Heavenly, Lower Heavenly, Whitney's Way, Lower Ultra, Lower Eastwind, Lower Strata, East Side, Sidewinder Most Difficult Trails: West Side Park, White Lightning, Upper Blue Streak Extremely Difficult Trails: Upper Ultra, Vertigo Park, Upper Eastwind, Upper Strata The Half Pipe at Liberty Mountain has since been removed as it was deemed too much work to maintain and cover with snow. The Half Pipe was usually only open for at most a month of the ski season, but some years not even open at all. The area where the Half Pipe was located was filled in and is now the East Side terrain park.

Jörg Bergmeister's No. 90 White Lightning Porsche 911 GT3-RSR led LMGT with a 4 minutes, 5.975 seconds lap, followed by Marc Lieb's No. 87 Orbit Racing car, which was sidelined for hours with a broken steering rack after a crash against a guardrail at Tertre Rouge corner. A seal failure that mixed oil and diesel in the Taurus Lola and leaked oil on the Mulsanne Straight and a crash for Noël del Bello Racing's entry at Mulsanne Corner led to further stoppages during testing.

Davies and Magnussen were able to get their cars back to the pit lane for repairs. The incident gave the No. 66 Prodrive Ferrari of Alain Menu the lead of LMGTS and the gap between Davies and Kristensen was reduced to less than one lap. The No. 66 Prodrive Ferrari was later forced to enter the pit lane with a suspected misfire though it was later discovered that a section of rubber was lodged inside an air restrictor. Menu's Ferrari spent seven minutes undergoing repairs; it rejoined the race with his lead in the LMGTS category over the No. 64 Corvette lowered from four to laps and the Kondo Dome moved ahead of him. The No. 90 White Lightning Porsche continued to lead the LMGT class but in the eleventh hour, the car ceded the lead it had held for the majority of the race when Bergmeister drove into the pit lane to replace a broken shifter linkage cable on its sequential gearbox and underwent a change of brakes.

Owsley took Scully to the Watts Acid Test on February 12, 1966, and they built electronic equipment for the Grateful Dead until late spring 1966. Point Richmond Lab In July 1966 Owsley rented a house in Point Richmond, California and Owsley and Melissa Cargill (Owsley's girlfriend who was a skilled chemist) set up a lab in the basement. Tim Scully worked there as Owsley's apprentice. Owsley had developed a method of LSD synthesis which left the LSD 99.9% pure. The Point Richmond lab turned out over 300,000 tablets (270 micrograms each) of LSD they dubbed "White Lightning". LSD became illegal in California on October 6, 1966, so Owsley and Scully decided to set up a new lab in Denver, Colorado. 1st Denver Lab Scully set up the new lab in the basement of a house across the street from the Denver zoo in early 1967. Owsley and Scully made the LSD in the Denver lab. 100,000 tablets (270 micrograms each) of Monterey Purple were made in Denver for the Monterey Pop Festival.

Following the death of Granny, Jed Clampett returned to his roots to live in a backwoods cabin in the town of Bug Tussle rather than living alone at his Beverly Hills mansion after having voluntarily divided his massive fortune between daughter Elly May and nephew Jethro Bodine, both of whom have remained on the West Coast (Jethro is now a successful Hollywood producer running his own movie studio and Elly May has opened a zoo for her beloved critters). Jane Hathaway, once the personal secretary of banker Mr. Milburn Drysdale of the Commerce Bank of Beverly Hills, is now a Washington bureaucrat working for the Department of Energy. It is 1981 and the Reagan administration is desperate to solve the energy crisis: they dispatch Jane and her obnoxious and stuffy boss C.D. Medford to search for the secret formula of Granny's powerful home-brewed "white lightning" which they are convinced could be the miracle cure for America's gas crisis. Since Granny died some time ago, Jane and C.D. arrive at Jed's old cabin, hoping to score just a few drops of Granny's medicine.
