When the FCC last tried this stunt back in 2015, Redditors, Twitter users, and big tech companies like Google and Facebook alike joined together in support of an internet that does not cost more based on the speed of your internet, or which webpages and services you want to access.

Webxray's analysis found that 76.04 percent of the webpages had trackers for marketing purposes—80.49 percent of the pages in France, 61.36 percent of the pages in Germany, and 86.27 percent of them in the UK. Among the third-party trackers also included the likes of advertising services from Google, Facebook, and Amazon, with Google trackers being the most present, followed by Facebook and Amazon.

To save a web page AND all the good stuff on it Read-it-later services like Pocket and Instapaper are fine for getting webpages into a simplified form that you can come back to at a later date, but for those times when you want to suck down everything on a page in its entirety you need something more than the integrated tools you get in your browser.

They might charge you more or less money to access specific "bundles" of certain websites, much as cable television providers do now — but instead of "basic cable," you might be forced to pay for access to more than a "basic" number of websites, as this popular pro-net neutrality graphic illustrates: ISPs will also be able to control how quickly you're served webpages, how quickly you can download and upload things, and in what contexts you can access which websites, depending on how much money you pay them.
