Sooty is a British children's television media franchise created by Harry Corbett in 1955, and based upon a fictional glove puppet character he created of the same name. The franchise is focused on the adventures of Sooty, a mute yellow bear with black ears and nose, who is kind-hearted but also cheeky, performing magic tricks and practical jokes, and who infamously squirts his handler and other people with his iconic water pistol. The popularity of the character with young children helped to grow the franchise from television programmes, into stage shows, an animated series, two spin-off series for the direct-to-video market, and other forms of merchandising, with the character making notable appearance on British television since the 1990s. The franchise remained in the ownership of Corbett until his retirement in 1976, before being passed on to his son Matthew.

While working the tour bus, Stan makes attempts to snare the affections of a female guest by the name of Mavis, but is repeatedly thwarted by her overbearing mother. When he does manage to secure some time with her, he becomes obliged by the family to babysit Little Arthur, but is so focused with Mavis, he inadvertently allows his nephew to get hold of a water pistol filled with ink that he soon sprays around one of the bedrooms of the Butler's chalet. Horrified, the Butlers become forced to redecorate the chalet before Blakey or the management find out. Seeking to make up for the disaster, Stan takes the family on a boat cruise, using it as a final attempt to seduce Mavis, but this fails when he struggles with the stormy seas, eventually succumbing to seasickness while Jack takes advantage to steal his love.

Kevin sends a mass text to the right-siders, mocking them as "losers", and later squirts Meredith Palmer (Kate Flannery) with a water pistol. Andy does not like this and confronts Robert with a demand to alter the list. Robert refuses, and then speaks to everyone by admitting to calling certain members of the office losers, but also reprimanding them for fixating so much on someone else's opinion of them, saying he will be working with them a long time and that his opinions on certain people may very well change, finishing with "Winners, prove me right; losers, prove me wrong". Andy, unsatisfied, lists off the qualities the right-siders have, stating that Stanley Hudson (Leslie David Baker) may be a grump, but has the best sales record in the office (something Robert admits to being unaware of); Meredith is persistent and does not know what the word "no" means; and Pam Halpert (Jenna Fischer) is "easily the most creative and kind person [he has] ever worked with".
