Deciding that the mysterious Luke has placed the mines to keep them from leaving the city the way they entered it, Molly and Duncan decide to escape through the city, leaving out the other side of it. In case Luke is watching from a distance, Molly and Duncan begin removing supplies from the hopelessly-mired truck, giving the impression that they are going to stay through the typhoon.

After locating an upgrade to his gun in a water maze, he finds a passage leading to a warehouse. Inside he remarks upon the boss, cane in-hand, watching from a distance as other humans co-operate on construction of some form of aircraft.

Lee's surrender in 1865, the Union organizes a ceremony to allow the remaining guerrilla bands to surrender in exchange for a pledge of loyalty to the United States of America. Everyone in Fletcher's band (Anderson having been killed during the war) agrees to surrender, with the exception of Wales. Fletcher negotiates the surrender, but the Union authorities wait for the guerillas to turn over their arms and then open fire on them as they swear their loyalty. Wales had been watching from a distance, and upon realizing that the ceremony was a trap, he rides into the Union camp killing as many soldiers as possible.

However, the wolf continues to refuse and dismiss Chirin, and eventually the little lamb is unable to follow and becomes lost in the wilderness. After coming across a snake who kills a mother bird, Chirin attempts to save the eggs, but in the brief fight mistakenly tramples over them. As the lamb mourns over the loss, the wolf watching from a distance question Chirin why he wants to remain with him, and Chirin replies that he does not want to "die for nothing".

After years of touring clubs around Europe, Norwegian/English psychedelic outfit Lonely Crowd started making their mark on the radio and even the charts in 2008, with the single "Aren't You Forgetting Something?". With the three hit singles they have had since, they look set to beat Michael Jackson's "Thriller" in terms of Norwegian hits, when the follow-up to their 2007 debut album, Watching From A Distance, is released. The album The Not-So-Great Britain was due in October 2012. Lonely Crowd has existed in different forms since 1995, when singer Stig Jakobsen left the wildly eccentric Vampire State Building and immediately formed the band, with former members of De Press and Holy Toy.

Lonely Crowd signed a two-album deal with Karisma Records, and release the three first EPs (plus two new tracks) as an album in November 2007, under the name Watching From a Distance.
