Permanent features were completed in the fall of 2007. It is now a public cross-country and back country ski facility. Located between the ski jumps and cross country area there is an Day Lodge. Which has a gift shop, cafeteria, washrooms, lounge and rental center.

Hardy and the auxiliaries continued to respond to forth alarms, setting up ladders and assisting the firefighters. Until then, the Fire Department had been described by the black auxiliaries as a "private club" for white males only. The reality for the new firefighters was bleak, blacks were admitted to the Fire Department but they had to deal with segregated beds, toilets and washrooms.

Long Branch is a stop on GO Transit's Lakeshore West line in the Long Branch neighbourhood of Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The structure was constructed using materials which would appreciate in value, such as marble floors and granite exteriors, but excluded items that Ball considered frills. In 2008, a master plan for Gordie Howe Bowl was formulated and the facility was expected to receive $30 million for expansion and upgrades. It would have included artificial turf, an additional eight lane track complete with a throws and jump area, and expanded bleacher seating for 6500 spectators. Athletic facilities including public washrooms, change rooms and concession, and fencing were to be constructed in the first phase, costing $12.4 million. The cost would have been shared by the federal government ($4.1 million), the city ($2.9 million), corporate sponsors ($1.4 million) and admission levy ($4 million). The second phase was expected to cost $12.8 million and provide new bleachers, a new press box, additional washrooms, concessions, meeting rooms, landscaping and an entry plaza. Phase 3 of the project, pegged at $4.8 million, would have provided a paved parking lot, private boxes and more landscaping. The Jamia Millia Islamia attack refers to the forceful entry by Delhi police into the Jamia Millia Islamia university during a confrontation with student protesters that started outside the campus on 15 December 2019. Hundreds of police officers forcefully entered the campus and detained more than a hundred students during the confrontation with the protesters. The police used batons and tear gas to disperse protesters. The police also entered the university library and washrooms and in the process of the violence ransacked parts of it.

Like the predecessor Pacific Coast League franchise, the new Canadians signed a player development contract with the Oakland Athletics. The Canadians had players such as Nick Swisher, Jeremy Brown, Jason Windsor, Joe Blanton, Rich Harden, Travis Buck, Dallas Braden, and Dan Straily on teams during this period. In 2007, local Vancouver businessmen Jake Kerr and Jeff Mooney purchased the Vancouver Canadians and secured a 25-year lease with the City of Vancouver Parks Board. Extensive work began that offseason in a full-scale stadium renovation which improved washrooms, concessions, concourses, and children's play area.

Roommate () is a South Korean reality show; formerly part of SBS's Good Sunday lineup. It was first scheduled to be aired on April 20, 2014, but due to the Sewol ferry tragedy and the temporary broadcast halt, the airing date was pushed to May 4, 2014. The blockhouses were originally designed with an exposed log exterior, based on the architect's interpretation of a rugged "frontier" aesthetic, although clapboards were added onto the blockhouses to give them a more refined appearance. For its 50th anniversary in 2003, the camp spent $3 million on landscaping and building additional cabins. Long Branch Loop is the westernmost stop on the longest Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) streetcar route, the 501 Queen line. It is located in the Long Branch neighbourhood in southwestern Toronto, close to the boundary with Mississauga. Westbound streetcars enter the turning loop from Lake Shore Boulevard and turn counter clockwise to face east on the north side of the platform. Mariana Lake is an unincorporated community in northern Alberta within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, located on Highway 63, southwest of Fort McMurray. A gas station, gift shop, and a convenience store (known as Mariana Lakes Country Store) used to exist in Mariana Lake. The Community Centre Hall was built over the period of 1883–1889. Gas lights were installed in 1923 and were replaced in 1931 when the hall was wired for electricity at a cost of $137.50. The wall behind the stage was painted by local artist Garnet Hazard in 1948 and has become an iconic fixture of the hall. Adanac Ski Hill is a downhill ski area within the city of Sudbury in northeastern Ontario, Canada. It is owned and operated by the City of Greater Sudbury. Today Naufrage garners much attention as a tourist attraction during the summer months. It is home to the Shipwreck Point Cafe. Exhibition Stadium's fate was sealed during the 70th Grey Cup in 1982, popularly known as "the Rain Bowl" because it was played in a driving rainstorm that left most of the crowd drenched. The original Rum Hospital is a two-storey sandstone structure with a double-tier verandah around northern, western and southern sides. Sandstone columns supporting the verandah and timber roof shingles are replacements, as is the "Chinoiserie" timber lattice balustrade on the upper verandah. Children's playground at the Legazpi Active Park The park occupies the southern third of an L-shaped block bounded by Rufino and Legazpi streets to the north, Rada Street to the east, Salcedo Street to the west, and Gamboa Street to the south. It sits next to a parking lot containing the CBD administration building and is framed by a mix of office and residential towers. The park is in the quieter side of Legazpi Village, midway between Greenbelt and Makati Medical Center. It is equipped with park benches, tiled walkways and jogging paths, a children's playground, and washrooms.

A wall was built approximately where the old communion rail was located and behind this wall new choir rooms, a chapel and a storage area were built. This renovation also included new lighting, carpeting, new paint and a professional sound system. The United Church of Canada and Anglican Church of Canada engaged in the first round of a formal conversation in 2003, the first since the 1975 Plan of Union to merge the two churches failed. Fan Bay Deep Shelter is a series of tunnels constructed during World War II as accommodation for Fan Bay Battery artillery battery, 23 metres down in the White Cliffs of Dover at Fan Bay near the Port of Dover. The tunnels and gun battery were built by the Royal Engineers between 20 November 1940 and 28 February 1941. The site is maintained by the National Trust. The tunnels are lined with corrugated steel arching and the complex originally included five large tunnels with storage space for bunk beds, rifles, a hospital and a secure store, a generator, toilets and washrooms.

Renovations to upgrade the facility began in May 2009 and completed in spring 2012. Among the improvements are an expansion of , the addition of 18 luxury suites, improved concessions and washrooms, a new press box, and a restaurant/lounge overlooking the ice. In 2004, they sold it to a health care provider, who doubled the floor space of the building by expanding the attic (once used as a sleeping space for railroaders) into a second floor. The city still owned the south portico, and they enclosed it as a waiting room. In July, the Michigan Department of Transportation awarded a $125,000 grant to the city and Amtrak to rebuild the waiting room and railway platform (owned by Amtrak). After floor, windows, doors, and washrooms were replaced and the benches were refinished, the station was fully reopened to trains on May 6, 2005.

In 1989, the mountaineering group began a project to promote tourist activities at Gruta do Natal, with the construction of a new building, which was integrated into the surrounding landscape. This building was sued to shelter an electric generator, to provide permanent lighting within the cave; protect the site from vandalism; and provide an interpretative centre for visitors to the site. The building includes washrooms, a generator room, and an access-way and staircase to the cave.

All sites are located close to a source of running water, as well as a latrine or flush toilet. Comfort stations with washrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are available at major campgrounds. There are also radio-free areas, a visitor centre, gift shop, and the Mugwump ferry, which brings visitors to the Clifftop Trail located across Mazinaw Lake. In addition, accommodation in heated yurts is available in the Sawmill Bay camping area,Yurts in Bon Echo Provincial Park as well as a number of cabins, most of which are located on Bon Echo Lake, west of Highway 41.

A detail of the mount for the military gun (removed from the location) The military battery is the location of two military emplacements, and includes a subterranean complex of infrastructures, in addition to a refectory, electricity room and a guardhouse, near the entranceway (the latter areas exposed). The spaces were constructed in reinforced concrete, integrating the two gun emplacements, a firing command post (PCT), two observation posts (PO), and six bunkers (four large and two small). Further, these spaces were linked by corridors and included lodgings, washrooms and a cistern for the garrison situated on the site.

Among the birds found on or around Loch an Eilein are the crested tit, redstart, spotted flycatcher, tree pipit, red-throated diver, common sandpiper, whinchat, and the occasional merlin. The Loch has been voted on the UK's best picnic spot. The Loch an Eilein park has numerous facilities, including washrooms, visitor centre, and a car park.

The day began at 4:30 am for the men (an hour later in winter), and earlier for the women, when the block supervisor sounded a gong and started beating inmates with sticks to make them wash and use the latrines quickly. Sanitary arrangements were atrocious, with few latrines and a lack of clean water. Each washhouse had to service thousands of prisoners. In sectors BIa and BIb in Auschwitz II, two buildings containing latrines and washrooms were installed in 1943. The parking lot on the north side of the building bordering the harbour doubles as a large outdoor multi-use space called the Events Plaza, which can be used for outdoor concerts or festivals. There is a large stage build on one side of Alderney Landing facing the events plaza, with a permanent roof, used for outdoor concerts which can accommodate up to 10,000 people. There are also washrooms and electrical facilities on the opposite end of the plaza. Alderney Landing hosts various outdoor events each year including; Canada Day Concert, Natal Day Events, Mother Goose Festival, Bluenose Ghosts Festival, and the Christkindlmarket.

For bar patrons who are feeling uncomfortable with the behavior of their date, such as a person who is getting touched without their consent, some venues have a safety code system that enables patrons to alert staff. Some bars have posters in washrooms and drink coasters informing patrons that if they need to signal a bartender that they feel unsafe with their date (or any other bar patron), they can use a codeword (a fictional mixed drink name, for example), and then bar staff will escort the patron out of the venue to make sure they get safely to their taxi.

Gem Lake is located on the western side of Big White and is served by the Gem Lake high-speed detachable quad chair. The Falcon and Powder Chairs, two and four person lifts respectively, are nearby. The Gem Lake lift is often windier than the east side lifts, but offers the largest single-lift vertical drop at the hill at 710 m. It has a lodge known as the Westridge Warming Hut complete with washrooms, coffee shop, ticket sales and large parking lot at its base; the base of the Gem Lake Express is quite distant from the Village area.

Pond Trail Entrance Based on the many resources that is offered by the park, this allows visitors to engage in a variety of recreational and educational activities for all ages. Visitors of the park can participate in hiking and walking along the four available park trails, which are also handicap and stroller accessible. Birdwatching, photography, and sightseeing is also available to explore in the park's natural scenery, giving visitors the ability to encounter plants and animals in the bog, forest, and pond habitats. Other amenities located in the park include the outdoor picnic area including picnic tables, washrooms, a playground area, and available parking.

Each year, administration attempts to position all science students or business students on one floor, or at least in one entire section of a floor, depending on the variability of programs. This is done to facilitate team-building and to encourage students to work together on related academic activities. Ainslie St. Transit Terminal is the main hub for local Grand River Transit bus services in Cambridge, Ontario. It was built as a replacement for the Mill Street Terminal (Mill Street near Main Street and Ainslie Street), in response to a 1988 report, commissioned by the city, which concluded that the existing facilities were totally inadequate and should be shut down. The building is a single-story facility with a waiting room, ticket counter, public washrooms, and vending machines. It is surrounded on all sides by bus platforms, with the only access to and from the surrounding streets by crossing the bus right-of- way.

In 2009 a master plan for the park approved by the city recommended that it be removed due to its condition and the cost of necessary upgrades, including a lack of electricity and a lack of storage or washrooms. The bandshell continues to be used during warmer weather for performances by the Waterloo Concert Band. Since opening, Waterloo Park has been the site of numerous social and cultural events including music festivals, family reunions and athletic competitions. The production lines were manned by selected skilled prisoners whose detachment was known as Elsabe AG. The lack of air circulation in the underground factory exacerbated the illness and exhaustion of many inmates and rusted the production machines, causing many of the completed products to fail quality control. In February, the command made efforts to improve the conditions for Elsabe prisoners in order to reduce death rates. The prisoners were housed separately in a warehouse with washrooms and given increased rations of food, while they did not have to participate in as many roll calls. Production at Richard I continued until 5 May 1945.

Plans for an elementary school on Bluegrass Drive can be traced as far back as the late 1970s. The space was formerly occupied by a community centre building, and an extensive park which stretched to the limit of the land that was the community of Bridlewood at the time. The park consisted of two play structures, one built for young children and one for older children, a baseball diamond, a basketball court, and a soccer field at the back. During the winter months, a skating rink was built next to the community centre, so that the washrooms could serve double duty as space for people to put their skates.

On June 1, the city announced two phases for re-opening park washrooms with the first phase re-opening about 50 washroom sites by June 6 and the remaining by mind-June. The Toronto Police Service had issued several tickets at Trinity Bellwoods Park on May 23 after reports of public urination. The Roman Catholic Orphan School (RCOS) (1841-1886) was a Government Orphanage built on land adjacent to the third class penitentiary of the Parramatta female factory at Parramatta, NSW Australia, in 1841. Built from locally quarried ashlar sandstone in the barracks style, the building measured 56 by 22 ft and is the only surviving example of the secular work of colonial architect Henry Ginn in NSW. On completion the grounds were walled in and outhouses placed against them. The original building was a plain, rather austere colonial Georgian structure consisting of three storey's with a basement where the kitchen, dining room and washrooms were located.

Founded in 1955 as a one-screen movie house, the Delite was renovated in 2006 and reopened in December with two screens. The theatre's new amenities include a "handcrafted dome, fire-proof drapery, Egyptian carpets, seats decorated with brocade fabric, brass-holders for drinks, pure leather paneling on the doors, wooden carvings and LED lights" in the 148-seat "Delite Diamond" screen room, according to The Hindu newspaper. The renovation added imported chandeliers from the Czech Republic, Spanish paint, stained glass and woodwork in the lobby, and Victorian lampposts outside the hall. "[T]he washrooms are fitted with Italian marble and Spanish tiles", the newspaper reported.

Fallowfield is an inter-city passenger railway station located at 3347 Fallowfield Road, in the Ottawa neighbourhood of Barrhaven. Fallowfield is a stop for all Via Rail trains operating in Corridor service between Ottawa and Toronto, and it is also the terminus for some trips between Ottawa and Montreal, extending that service beyond the primary Ottawa station. The wheelchair accessible station is manned and the building is equipped with a ticket office, waiting room, vending machines, washrooms and Wi-Fi internet access. The station is next to a main OC Transpo bus station with frequent service to the west end of Ottawa and downtown.

Hamilton banned smoking on all municipal properties, including parks, playgrounds, beaches, sports fields on May 31, 2012. Any person who contravenes a provision of this by-law is guilty of an offence and upon conviction is liable to a maximum fine of $10,000.00. In Toronto, Municipal Code prohibits smoking within 9 meters of an entrance or exit of any building used by the public. Smoking is also prohibited in all public squares and within 9 meters of park amenities such as playgrounds, sports fields, skate parks, ski hills, picnic areas, swimming pools, theatre space, splash pads, washrooms, beaches, park zoos and farms, and service waiting lines.

Inn at the Forks Inn at the Forks is a five storey hotel located at the Forks. It has 117 guest rooms and suites, meeting and reception space for up to 200 people, fitness facilities, and features The Current Restaurant & Lounge and Riverstone Spa. The hotel features natural slate floors in the main lobby, glass vanities in the suite washrooms, heated floors, and a water wall in the spa. The Inn at the Forks project was the first Canadian application of the “Redi-Maid” system that links ensuite occupancy sensors, lighting and mechanical system controls to staff PDAs with the goal of maximizing energy efficiency.

The Germans built four barracks, a kitchen, a mess hall, a laundry room, lavatories and washrooms, shops, an officer's quarters, and a medical dispensary. SGT Folly Lake was operated by 24 Canadian Forces personnel working in several shifts; the primary day shift consisting of two supply technicians, two administration technicians, a coolant technician, a power plant technician, and a detachment commander. There was also a civilian engineer from the Department of National Defence. There were always two personnel stationed at SGT Folly Lake 24 hours a day year-round; they worked in rotating 3 day shifts whereby they lived at the facility for 3 days on and then had 2 days off. The living quarters in the Operations Building was equipped with bedrooms, washrooms, showers, a kitchen, and a living room which had a television and VCR/DVD.

Originally proposed in 1913, Roseland Public school first opened in 1914 as a one-room schoolhouse with an enrollment of 25 students under the supervision of their teacher, Alta Williams. As enrollment in the school grew, the demand for more classroom space became critical, and in 1925 a new two-room school was constructed to replace the aging pre-World War I structure. In 1928, under the guidance of new principal Olive Marcoux, the school was expanded again, doubling in classroom space while adding a teacher's room, furnace, and male- female washrooms. Development of Roseland Public School was halted following the onset of the Second World War, and the fourth classroom was not staffed and furnished until 1940.

Russell High's PRIDE alliance (GSA) has been very active in recent years, launching multiple campaigns for acceptance and diversity within the school, as well as hosting forums and workshops attended by students and faculty from surrounding schools. In 2015, the school introduced an all-gender washroom, something that was still very rare in North America at the time. On January 12, 2017, Russell High School hosted more than 50 students for the third annual Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) Empowerment Day. During this meeting students from seven schools met to discuss LGBTQ+ inclusivity related topics including gender-neutral washrooms and change areas, how to deal with homophobia and transphobia, as well as bullying in these areas.

Individual private guest bathrooms, even in the most exclusive hotels, were not usual in Europe in the 1880s. Each floor had a grouping of washrooms and wcs, more than sufficient for the number of bedrooms, beside the main staircase. If a guest wished to take a bath a zinc bathtub would be produced and placed in the guest's bedroom, and filled with water by hotel staff using jugs, in a manner that would have reflected the arrangements in the homes of the more affluent guests. Although there was at this stage no plumbed water supply to the guest bedrooms, for basic personal ablution, urination and defecation, rooms were provided with their own jugs, basins and night chamber pots.

In 1967, in a census conducted by Israel after it occupied the West Bank in the Six-day War, the village was reported to have 76 residents in 17 households. The site contains an ancient reservoir, Birket Al-Karmel, which has been transformed into a major recreation area, with a swimming pool. Gideon Levy writes: > The terraces, decorative landscaping, Hebron stones, washrooms and a spring > that gushes from the rock next to the pool – all make this one of the most > spectacular outdoor sites in the West Bank. Twice, in 2015, settler tourists under IDF guard, made incursions into the park, after the army forced the local children out of the pool and allotted them to a corner while the settlers enjoyed the pool and the site.

On June 3, 2017, Rehab Dughmosh, believed to be wearing an IS (Daesh) bandanna, was arrested after attempting to attack people with a knife outside the Canadian Tire. In 2012, the Zellers store was acquired by Target, but later sold to Walmart Canada and opened as Walmart in late 2012. A Jysk store also opened around this time, to the west of No Frills, which is not part of the actual mall. During mid-2013, the mall went through major renovations, done by Cinric Construction, which would include the full replacement of the interior and exterior lighting, automatic and energy efficient washrooms, floor and ceiling finishes, a repaved parking lot, an enhanced food court, and the rebranding of the mall.

Common in theatre design at the time of the construction of the Capitol Theatre was the layout of a small entrance frontage and a long narrow lobby with the auditorium opening out behind street-front stores. This was because taxes were based on street frontage, land for the larger auditorium was cheaper on back lots and a long narrow lobby connecting the entrance to the auditorium worked well for ticket line- ups. as a theatre built exclusively for talking pictures, it had a small stage, low rake to the floor, no back-stage facilities, a minimal number of washrooms and limited lobby space. Built at the beginning of the [Great Depression in Canada], the capitol was designed as an atmospheric movie theatre, a low cost, highly visual Theatre design.

2007 got off to a strong start immediately, with Microsoft's Vanishing Point to promote the launch of Windows Vista. The game was designed by 42 Entertainment and, due in part to many large-scale real-world events, such as a lavish show at the Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas as well as a prizes of a trip into space and having a winner's name engraved on all AMD Athlon 64 FX chips for a certain period of time, received large media attention. It was followed almost immediately by another 42 Entertainment production for the release of the Nine Inch Nails album Year Zero, in which fans discovered leaked songs on thumb drives in washrooms at concerts, as well as clues to websites that describe a dystopian future occurring in 2022.

Between 1997 and 2001, there systematic changes to the buildings interiors, that included the substitution of the electrical systems, the construction of new washrooms on all floors, the substitution of water supply, security and fire protection systems, the repair of the roof, recuperation of the dressing rooms on five floors and the elaboration of a new aesthetic with the building. Moving and scenic lighting equipment were upgraded, the heating network was recovered and improved, an electronic subtitling system (with simultaneous translation in two languages) and an electronic ticket office were installed. The auditorium was completely rebuilt to improve the acoustics and the visibility of the spectators, while a warehouse was built under the auditorium. A second orchestra pit and a new circus track were installed on a hydraulic lifting plate.

The belltower with pilasters cornerstones is two registers and separated by cornices, with a rectangular window on the ground floor (lighting the old baptistery) and topped by rounded belfry with three bells. The tower is decorated with a bulbous cupola and pinnacles on each corner, while it is accessed from the rear through a door located at the level of the choir, preceded by an exterior staircase, constructed over washrooms.

From the entrance, accessible from the main gate, the park extends to the northeast and encompasses several differentiated spaces. Parking is located on the dirt plain adjacent to the main gate, while both access roads and pedestrian trails extend further into the bush: the space was designed to accommodate both passenger vehicles and buses. The forest ranger's residence and dependencies are located along the restricted roadway to the main spaces, and houses the forest ranger and his family throughout the year. The rest of the park follows the identifiable pedestrian paths (signposted by various trail markers) to different sections, which include: picnic/barbecue areas, individual public washrooms (for both sexes), animal paddocks (for ducks and deer), a children's playground, a hedge-maze and an open field for other diversions, in addition to a maintenance yard for forest services.

Between 1989 and 1992, work was undertaken to restore the building by the municipal council of Lisbon, under the direction of architect Jorge Matos Alves, with the objective of adapting Beau-Séjour for the municipal agency concerned with the study of Lisbon heritage, the GEO (Gabinete de Estudos Olisiponenses). This included the restoration of deteriorated elements of the architecture of the building: expanding the rooms, transforming the basement into a library/archive, and dividing the pantry space into two washrooms. On the first floor a metal staircase was installed in the east wing and the attic was expanded, particularly in the north section. Attempts were made to restore the ceiling paintings (in the gold hall, dining room, music room and gallery), in addition to ceramic panels and dining room light fixture, a work by Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro.

The terminals are adapted to the slopes of their respective gradients; with the Praia terminal addorsed posteriorly to two facades, and the Sítio terminal adsorbed to washrooms and encircled by public roadways. The system includes two cars, linked by a subterranean cable, that ascend and descend simultaneously along the line. At the beginning and end terminals, the lines are singular, but split-off along the descent/ascent, allowing parallel transit along the middle of the course.

Soon, other doo wop groups entered the pop charts, particularly in 1955, which saw such cross-over doo-wop hits as "Sincerely" by The Moonglows, "Earth Angel" by The Penguins, The Cadillacs' "Gloria", The Heartbeats' "A Thousand Miles Away", Shep & the Limelites' "Daddy's Home", The Flamingos' "I Only Have Eyes for You", and The Jive Five's "My True Story". Teenagers who could not afford musical instruments formed groups that sang songs a cappella, performing at high school dances and other social occasions. They rehearsed on street corners and apartment stoops, as well as under bridges, in high school washrooms, and in hallways and other places with echoes: these were the only spaces with suitable acoustics available to them. Thus they developed a form of group harmony based in the harmonies and emotive phrasing of black spirituals and gospel music.

The nature reserve is a unit of multi-use in the Azores archipelago combining several activities; it is oriented towards human-nature interactivity, providing spaces for human leisure (barbecues, minor recreational activities, sightseeing and pedestrian trails) near to natural flora and fauna in the area. Central to this park is a large area of nurseries, in rectangular beds within a large glade bordered by a curtain of Cryptomerias. There are several red clay pedestrian walking trails throughout the park with access to several infrastructures including barbecues, playgrounds, public washrooms, animal pens and lookouts. The main feature of the park is its rich forest of tall species; a dense forest, its atmosphere populated by Cryptomeria, Sequoia, Picconia azorica and the local Azorean Heather, its paths lined with Azaleas (Rhododendron), tree ferns (Sphaeropteris cooperii), Agapanthus and Camelias (Camelia japonica).

The site of the terminal was formerly a Saturn dealership, but it has been redeveloped and now features an indoor waiting area, washrooms, a ticket desk, and an attached bus freight depot where parcels can be loaded and unloaded. Following the cancellation of many of its routes in Northern Ontario, Greyhound Canada announced in 2016 that it was closing its Sudbury bus terminal on Notre Dame Avenue and that existing Greyhound services would be relocated to the Ontario Northland terminal on the Kingsway. Ontario Northland began to respond to the service gap created by Greyhound Canada's cuts by instituting a new Ottawa–Sudbury route (schedules 670 and 680) in 2017, which has since been extended to Hearst, restoring the Hearst service which was cut in 2015. In 2018, Ontario Northland announced a major service expansion west of Sudbury, with new routes servicing Sault Ste.

GPAC is a 15-person Committee whose role is to advise on the restoration and revitalization of Grange Park and on an oversight structure for the ongoing maintenance and program for Grange Park. By that time, Grange Park had deteriorated because of restrictions in City funding resulting in uneven pathways, dilapidated benches and playground equipment, many areas of bare ground and poorly maintained trees. On July 10, 2017, after a cost of $15 million and 15 months of construction, a renovated Grange Park officially reopened with many improvements such as expansion of the children's play area, 80 news trees, expanded lawn area, an off-leash dog area, new public washrooms, new water features and new seating areas. As part of the renovation, the Henry Moore sculpture Large Two Formspark was moved from the corner of Dundas and McCaul streets to become the centrepiece of the park.

Other than sporting facilities, the stadium also has a go-kart racing circuit. Once, Universiti Teknologi MARA's (UiTM) Faculty of Performing Arts occupied a portion of the stadium as its faculty building prior to the completion of the Puncak Perdana Satellite Campus of the University. In 2011, RM 3.4 million was spent to renovate the stadium to upgrade the lighting system, roof repairs, new grass for the pitch as well as to replace vandalised seats, improving the sound system, upgrading the dressing rooms, repainting some parts of the stadium, repairing the washrooms as well as other facilities. In 2014, RM 2.4mil was spent for the second phase of upgrading works, which includes replacing more than 500 roof tiles, replacing grass on the damaged parts of the field with the seashore paspalum variety, upgrading the changing rooms and the toilet there, repairing the public address system and two generator sets.

A view of the rounded cavern of the cistern Between 1982 and 1984, there were archaeological interventions at the castle, under the direction of Mário Jorge Barroca and António J. Cardoso Morais, following its 26 February 1982 classification as a Monumento Nacional (National Monument). Similarly, Susana Oliveira Jorge investigated the pre-historic underpinnings of the settlement, during the same time. Following a 175,000 Euro program of recuperation and restoration (that included illumination, public washrooms and parking area) by the Instituto Português do Património Arquitectónico (Portuguese Institute for Architectural Heritage) and Leader II European Community program, the site was re-inaugurated on 21 July 2001 in order to promote tourism in the region. In addition to the work by IPPAR, the municipal council of Vila Pouca de Aguiar acquired the ruined house addorsing the castle and created an interpretative centre, in addition to initiating projects to provide greater safety to the fortifications and structures.

After she made her initial vows she sent a letter to her mother in which she said: "I found Him who my heart loves; I want to hold Him and never let him go". In October 1936 she was assigned to work at Saint Vincent's Hospital in Dinslaken and she graduated from her nursing program with special distinctions on 3 September 1939 - not long after the start of World War II with the Polish invasion. The nun worked as a nurse during the conflict and in 1943 was assigned to nurse prisoners of war and foreign workers who had infectious diseases and she tended to the likes of British and Ukrainian people though Polish and Russian foreigners would later flood in. One of her P.O.W. patients - Father Emile Esche - said: "Sister Euthymia's life was a canticle of hope in the midst of the war". The conclusion of the war in 1945 saw her assigned to the washrooms of the Dinslaken hospital and later on 14 January 1948 saw her sent to work in her order's motherhouse and the Saint Raphael Clinic in Münster.

There was no boundary wall between Kitwe Girls and Kitwe Boys schools and this has continued for years until the two schools had to be separated. Helen Kaunda Girls Secondary School was opened before independence in January 1957 and was known as Kitwe Girls Secondary School. The school had more white pupils than Zambian ones and the head teachers were British expatriates. Had best facilities in terms of sports and recreation such as swimming pool, basketball court, netball and tennis courts among other things. The swimming pool, though not functional, is located at the girls’ school while the washrooms are in the boys’ school. After independence, Kitwe Girls was renamed Helen Kaunda Secondary School in honour of President Kaunda’s mother. And in 1964 one still had a handful of girls coming over to the boys’ school, and vice versa, for tuition in particular subjects possibly because of a shortage of teaching staff. Kitwe Boys’ High School was also well-managed and controlled establishment with strict discipline being the order of the day to which the bulk of the scholars adhered.

The height of each of Mies's two towers is proportioned to its width and depth. All, save for 95 Wellington Street West, are of a similar construction and appearance: the frame is of structural steel, including the core (containing elevators, stairs, washrooms, and other service spaces), and floor plates are of concrete poured on steel deck. The lobby is a double-height space on the ground floor, articulated by large sheets of plate glass held back from the exterior column line, providing for an overhang around the perimeter of the building, behind which the travertine-clad elevator cores are the only elements to touch the ground plane. Above the lobby, the building envelope is curtain wall made of bronze coloured glass in a matte-black painted steel frame, with exposed I-sections attached to the vertical mullions and structural columns; the modules of this curtain wall are by , thereby conforming to the overall site template. On July 7, 1977 at about 1:15 AM, a fire began in an inmate's clothes hanging on wooden pegs in one of the prison washrooms, and before it was extinguished about 45 minutes later, five inmates had died of smoke inhalation. The most significant factors contributing to the deadly fire were the presence of fuels that promoted rapid flame and smoke development, the failure to evacuate occupants quickly and reliably (the two primary exits were blocked by the fire and a broken key in a lock, leaving a narrow catwalk as the only exit), and the fire not being extinguished in an incipient stage. An automatic sprinkler system would have been the most reliable fire defense; however, even without automatic detection and suppression equipment, the fire safety system, with little expenditure of money, could have been more effective by revisions to emergency procedures in the fire plan. The Danbury Fire Department was not called until about 15 minutes after the fire's discovery because of a fire plan that called for initial use of the institution's firefighting resources, but the inmate fire brigade was never released from housing units and the institution's fire apparatus was never used.

The Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act, commonly known as House Bill 2 or HB2, is a North Carolina statute passed in March 2016 and signed into law by Governor Pat McCrory. The bill amended state law to preempt any anti- discrimination ordinances passed by local communities and, controversially, compelled schools and public facilities containing single-gender washrooms to only allow people of the corresponding sex as listed on their birth certificate to use them; it also gave the state exclusive rights to determine the minimum wage. The bathroom portion of the bill generated immense criticism for preventing transgender people who did not or could not alter their birth certificates from using the restroom consistent with their gender identity (in North Carolina, only people who undergo sex reassignment surgery can change the sex on their birth certificates, and outside jurisdictions have different rules, some more restrictive), and for changing the definition of sex in the state's anti-discrimination law to "the physical condition of being male or female, which is stated on a person's birth certificate." The removal of municipal anti-discrimination protections was also criticized, as state-level protections do not explicitly cover discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
