The first public rally of the URP, with about 2,000 attendance, was held on in Mikhailovsky Manege, a popular venue in Petersburg. Bertha Oliva Nativí (born c. 1956) is a Honduran human rights campaigner. She is the founder and coordinator of the Committee of Relatives of the Disappeared in Honduras (COFADEH, by its Spanish initials), a non-governmental organization promoting the rights of relatives of the victims of forced disappearances between 1979 and 1989. Oliva founded the organization after her husband, Prof. Tomás Nativí, founder of the People’s Revolutionary Union (URP), was taken from his home by State forces in June 1981.

URP was discovered in rats when researchers were trying to locate urotensin II (UII), a neuropeptide that is a potent vasoconstrictor and increases REM cycles in the brain. The researchers designed antibodies using Goby UII as an antigen that would target the specific peptide sequence CFWKYC. Charity Ngilu (Narc) As cabinet secretary of mining he has revoked licenses issued in the previous government. He has been maliciously accused of corruption by one company Cortec Mining of requesting a bribe of nearly 1 million dollars for the reissuing of the license. The minister by revoking licenses has made Kenya an attractive investment destination.

The Radical Party was founded in Lviv on October 4, 1890 by a group of Ukrainian activists including the poet Ivan Franko, the publisher Mykhailo Pavlyk, and others. It was involved in founding reading rooms and cooperatives, organizing women's groups, and training and politicizing Ukrainian peasants. In 1895, the party passed a resolution calling for Ukrainian independence. That same year, it sent three representatives to the Galician Diet and in 1897 two representatives to the Austrian parliament. In the mid-1890s three competing groups emerged within the URP.

Alfonso Castrillón Vizcarra (born 1935, Lima, Peru) is a prominent intellectual in the study of museums and art in Latin America. He is currently the director of the Visual Arts Gallery of the Ricardo Palma URP University, of Lima (1997- ), founding-director of the Institute of Artistic and Museological Research of the Universidad Ricardo Palma (2002 -) and creator and coordinator of the Master in Museology at the same university (1999-). By 2011, he was reported to lead one of two rival factions within the United Resource Party, with Duma leading the other. In June, Duma expelled Agiru from the URP for insubordination. In that year, he stated "building a house is naturally a man's job" and that it was "unmanly and unHuli" for Hela women to build their own houses. He continued to support Michael Somare during the prolonged dispute over his ouster as prime minister by Peter O'Neill, and in December 2011 was appointed by Somare as his would-be nominee for Deputy Prime Minister.

In 2013, Kang'ata contested for the Kiharu parliamentary seat on a TNA ticket, which he won after receiving 63,148 votes and defeating nine rivals. The TNA party was later merged with the URP to form the Jubilee Party of Kenya, which is led by Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto, as party leader and deputy party leader respectively. In 2015, Kang'ata fired three members of the local CDF committee over what he termed as misappropriation of funds meant for bursaries. In February 2016, he called for the overhaul of the Judiciary following claims of bribery and incompetence among judges and magistrates.

One camp pro-Ukrainian has united around the National Movement of Ukraine also included URP, DemPU, Party of Greens, Shevchenko Association of Ukrainian Language, regional branches of Prosvita, Memorial and others. The camp also supported by students of the Uzhhorod State University, several members of the Uzhhorod city council, Greek Catholic Eparchy of Mukachevo, and small faction of deputies in the regional council. The pro-Ukrainian camp was seeking to reelect the regional council. The other camp consisted of sympathizers of the regional nomenklatura officials (and formerly communist) who were supported by Association of Carpatho-Rusyns, later it was joined by KMKSZ (Association of Hungarian Culture of Zakarpattia).

Ibrahim Ali Roba, commonly known as Ali Roba is the first governor of Mandera County. He was elected on March, 4th 2013 as the governor of Mandera on a United Republic Party (URP) ticket, a coalition member of Jubilee Party of Kenya. He was re-elected as governor for a second and final term on August 8, 2018. Since the beginning of 2008, when Ali Roba was appointed to the position of the Chief Pilot, he has contributed exceptionally to the overall compliance levels of DAC Aviation (EA) Ltd by playing instrumental roles in the achievement of an ‘A’ systems and operational audit rating by DAC Aviation International.

Agiru was dismissed from office and banned from public office for three years in January 2002 after being found guilty of misconduct by a leadership tribunal, and failed in repeated attempts to overturn the ban to allow him to contest the June 2002 election. Central Bougainville MP Sam Akoitai was the party's only MP after the election, and in July 2002, he became the party's second leader, with Agiru stating "the party is here to stay". Following the election, the URP switched their support to new Prime Minister Michael Somare. By December, Akoitai was serving as Mining Minister in the Somare government, and it was reported that seven independent MPs had joined the party.

Gaining a popular following amongst the peasants, petite bourgeoisie and lumpenproletariat for his demagogy, Dubrovin sat in the State Duma of the Russian Empire despite being a firm believer in absolutism and before organising a failed boycott of the Third Duma in 1907.

He was re-elected at the 2007 election as a URP candidate, after which he was appointed Minister for Environment and Conservation by Prime Minister Michael Somare. Allan was an advocate for addressing climate change in this capacity, telling the United States at the 2007 United Nations Climate Change Conference "if for some reason you are not willing to lead, leave it to the rest of us and please get out of the way". In February 2008, he stated that three foreign firms had attempted to bribe him with free travel in order to fast-track approvals for their investments. In April 2008, he announced that no further exploration licenses along the historically sensitive Kokoda Track would be approved while the Somare government was in power.

In 2013, Uhuru Kenyatta was elected as the 4th and current president of Kenya under The National Alliance (TNA), which was part of the Jubilee Alliance with his running mate William Ruto's United Republican Party (URP). Uhuru and Ruto won 50.07% of votes cast, with closest rivals, Raila Odinga and running mate Kalonzo Musyoka of the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy garnering 42%. Raila Amolo Odinga disputed the election results at the Supreme Court which however held (7–0) that the election of Uhuru was valid and such irregularities as existed did not make a difference to the final outcome. Uhuru Kenyatta was therefore sworn in as president on 9 April 2013. Uhuru ran for president in the elections held on 4 March 2013 and garnered 6,173,433 votes (50.03%) out of the 12,338,667 votes cast.

Uhuru Kenyatta's party, The National Alliance (TNA) joined William Ruto's United Republican Party (URP), Najib Balala's Republican Congress Party (RCP) and Charity Ngilu's National Rainbow Coalition party to form the Jubilee Alliance coalition. Various opinion polls prior to the election placed Uhuru as one of the main contenders, and his Jubilee Alliance as among the most popular. The other formidable coalition was the Coalition For Reform and Democracy (CORD), led by Raila Odinga. In undercover video footage, released in a BBC news report on 19 March 2018, the managing director of Cambridge Analytica, a political consultancy that worked to elect Donald Trump in the 2016 American presidential election, boasted that his firm had run successful presidential election campaigns in Kenya in 2013 and 2017, though he did not name Kenyatta explicitly.

The Universal Referral Program (URP) is a system intended to facilitate completion of training for open water recreational scuba diving students who intend to do their training dives at a place different from the venue for the theory and confined water training. More specifically, it allows inter agency referral - the referral instructor is not necessarily a member of the same certification agency as the initiating instructor. The program was developed in 1998 by educators, risk managers and attorneys for the diver certification agencies International Diving Educators Association (IDEA), National Association of Scuba Diving Schools (NASDS), National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), Professional Diving Instructors Corporation (PDIC), Scuba Schools International (SSI) and YMCA SCUBA Program based on industry training standards. The system established referral paperwork, procedures and a minimum list of skills to be performed.

In 2016, the Jubilee Alliance's leadership, including President Kenyatta, decided to transition from a coalition government to a single unified party, the Jubilee Party. The new party was formed from the principal members of the Jubilee Alliance's previous coalition, as well as new political parties. The advantages of the URP are that the learner diver can complete the theory and confined water training near home, which should be more economical in time and cost, then get the open water training in a vacation environment, where the water conditions are likely to be more pleasant, and can be followed by further recreational dives. The hometown study environment is found to be more conducive to learning than the vacation environment, and referral students tend to have a better grasp of the theoretical side of the training. Jamleck Kamau was first elected to represent the Kigumo Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya during the Kenyan parliamentary election, 2007 through the Party of National Unity (PNU).
