The Dominican Republic with its OTI member station Telesistema 11, was one of the founding countries of the OTI Festival and participated in the very first edition of the show in Madrid in 1972. Since then, the country participated almost uninterruptedly in the event. The Caribbean country only withdrew from the event in 1976, but one year later, the broadcaster rejoined the show and participated till the last edition in 2000 in Acapulco.

The Franciscan order was allowed by Sultan Mehmed II the Conqueror in the Ottoman Empire in 1463, after the Ottoman conquest of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The festival gather storytellers or cuentacuentos from around the world who narrate uninterruptedly stories over the weekend. Started in 1992, the Maratón de los Cuentos of Guadalajara is celebrated every year since then. It reached its twentieth edition in 2011 achieving 46 hours of storytelling without interruption.

The same singer would return to the event in 1990 and 1995 with disappointing placings. Since their debut, the Guarani country participated almost uninterruptedly except in 1982, their only withdrawal from the contest.

The Słupsk Town Hall (, ) is the chief administrative building of Słupsk, a town in north-western Poland. The town hall was constructed in 1901 under Prussian rule in the Gothic Revival style and is listed in a group of heritage monuments protected by Polish law. One of the most iconic architectural elements of both the structure and the whole town is the 56-meter tall tower with a clock mechanism that has been operating uninterruptedly for 100 years. The tower and terrace are accessible to visitors since 2003.

The plant was initially built to supply the piped gas for the street lighting. Its original function of servicing gas lighting soon faded as electricity took over street lights in 1906.. He was the son of Ishaq ibn Kundaj, a Turkic strongman who had established himself, with sanction from the Abbasid court, as the ruler of Mosul in 879. Ishaq ruled Mosul and parts of the Jazira almost uninterruptedly until his death in 891, when he was succeeded by Muhammad. Already in the next year, however, he was driven from Mosul by a rival strongman, Ahmad ibn Isa al-Shaybani. Its participants believe that the wealthiest citizens of the country, the Few, represent the 1% of the population that can force their influence on financial and legislative policies while the rest, the Many (of which they belong), represent the 99% of the population that are hindered by the policies that the Few make and/or support. This group is highly active and adamant in their beliefs and often camp outside of government and corporate buildings across the world, proclaiming that they will protest uninterruptedly until the government changes.

There have been three PNM Chief Secretaries and administrations. Founded in 1998, it is the largest and most successful political party in modern Tobagonian politics. The Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM; ) is the dominant ruling party in Tanzania and the second longest-ruling party in Africa, only after National Party of South Africa. It was formed in 1977, following the merger of the Tanganyika African National Union (TANU) and the Afro-Shirazi Party (ASP), which were the sole operating parties in mainland Tanzania and the semi-autonomous islands of Zanzibar respectively. TANU and its successor CCM have ruled Tanzania uninterruptedly since independence. Since the creation of a multi-party system, CCM has won the past five general elections in 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015.

Harrison's organization and newspaper were political, but also emphasized the arts (his newspaper had "Poetry for the People" and book review sections). In 1927, in the Pittsburgh Courier, Harrison challenged the notion of the renaissance. He argued that the "Negro Literary Renaissance" notion overlooked "the stream of literary and artistic products which had flowed uninterruptedly from Negro writers from 1850 to the present," and said the so-called "renaissance" was largely a white invention.

Juan Manuel de Rosas - Villa Urquiza is a terminus station on Line B of the Buenos Aires Underground. It is placed beneath Avenida Triunvirato, between Avenida Monroe and Avenida Franklin D. Roosevelt, in the Villa Urquiza barrio, and is an important transfer center with General Urquiza station in the Ferrocarril General Bartolomé Mitre. It is named after Juan Manuel de Rosas, a politician, army officer and caudillo who ruled the Argentine Confederation almost uninterruptedly from 1829 until 1852. The station opened for use on July 26, 2013 as part of the extension of the line from Los Incas - Parque Chas.

The 2015 Madrilenian regional election was held on Sunday, 24 May 2015, to elect the 10th Assembly of the Community of Madrid. All 129 seats in the Assembly were up for election. The election was held simultaneously with regional elections in twelve other autonomous communities and local elections all throughout Spain. The greater Barak Valley, which encompassed the area of Pratapgarh, has an indigenous population of ethnic Bengalis. As with neighbouring Sylhet, the inhabitants speak a common dialect of Bengali known as Sylheti, with the region as a whole, in the words of historian Jayanta Bhattacharjee, being "geographically, historically and ethnically an extension of Gangetic Bengal". Both the Communist Party of Andalusia (PCA–PCE) and the Socialist Party of Andalusia–Andalusian Party (PSA–PA) performed poorly with 8 (8.5% of the vote) and 3 seats (5.4%), respectively. After the election, Escuredo was re-elected as Andalusian president. This would be the last regional election to be contested by the UCD before its electoral meltdown in the 1982 Spanish general election and its subsequent dissolution in February 1983, as well as the only time—together with 2004—that a party would secure an absolute majority of the vote. A Labor lawyer and professor of labor legislation at the University of Naples, he was co-founder and president from 1950 and secretary general from 1964 to 1977 of CISNAL, the union close to the positions of national syndicalism. Roberti was elected in 1948 to the Chamber of Deputies in the constituency of Naples among the ranks of the Italian Social Movement and he sat uninterruptedly in Montecitorio from the first to the seventh parliamentary legislature (1976–1979).

Torneos de Verano (Spanish for "Summer Tournaments") are a series of short friendly football pre-season tournaments held during the southern summer in Argentina every year, usually in January and February. They serve as preparation for the teams for the season coming; however, as the years went by the competitiveness in the tournaments increased, and they are now considered as important competitions. This is clearly reflected in the high crowd attendance for the games. Since the first edition in 1968, the Torneos de Verano have been uninterruptedly played, then being expanded to other cities of Argentina such as Córdoba, Mendoza, Rosario and Tandil among others.

The church of St. Mary the Crowned was the only Catholic church or institution that was not ransacked by the troops that took over the city in 1704. It was successfully protected by its staunch pastor, Juan Romero, his curate, and his bell-ringer. Thus, it is the only place where Catholic worship has taken place uninterruptedly from the definite Christian re-conquest of the town. Due to the building being severely damaged during the 1779–1783 Great Siege, in 1790 the then Governor of Gibraltar Sir Robert Boyd offered to rebuild the cathedral in return for part of the land on which the building originally stood in order to re-route Main Street.

The paper would continue to rely only on Urdu editions without expanding into regions beyond Hyderabad or to other more profitable languages until much later. Despite this, between 1976–1996 the daily circulation of the publication's editions had reportedly increased by 330% from approximately 10,000 to 44,000. As of 2011, the paper has continued to uninterruptedly use the format of wall newspapers to publicise its editions in the city of Hyderabad since the day of first publication. In 1998, the paper launched its own digital website; it was reported to have been among the first newspapers to adopt e-paper formats along with the likes of Dinamalar (Tamil), Andhra Jyothi (Telugu), Lokmat (Marathi), etc.

The Neolithic archaeological remains found in the village are proof that the region around Pano Lefkara has been inhabited uninterruptedly for many centuries. The first historical testimony of the existence of Pano Lefkara with its present-day name is found in the testament of Saint Neophytos, born in 1134 in the village of Kato Drys near Pano Lefkara, when Cyprus was part of the Byzantine Empire. The house, which consists of just a single room, where Saint Neophytos met with his wife-to-be the night before he ran away to become a monk, still stands. Although a newer house has been built around it, it is now unoccupied and owned by Mrs.

Also in the 16th century missionaries arrived in the highlands and slowly the Christianisation and re-education of the Indians spread to the south; they thus adapted to a more sedentary life. In the site where Barrancas is located today, archaeological objects and utensils have been found that belonged to the so- called Barrancoid and Saladoid cultures, the oldest of which have been dated 1000 years before the Christian era. The archaeological evidence that has been found (and that is still being found) has allowed to establish that Barrancas has been uninterruptedly inhabited at least since the 11th century of our era, which makes it the oldest town in Venezuela and one of the oldest in the American continent.

Most species employ a countercurrent exchange system to enhance the diffusion of substances in and out of the gill, with blood and water flowing in opposite directions to each other, which increases the efficiency of oxygen-uptake from the water. Fresh oxygenated water taken in through the mouth is uninterruptedly "pumped" through the gills in one direction, while the blood in the lamellae flows in the opposite direction, creating the countercurrent blood and water flow, on which the fish's survival depends. After graduation, Bull began his business career by joining Edward Sweet & Co., a banking house founded in 1854 (with offices at the southwest corner of Wall and Broad Street) where his brother-in-law was the senior partner. In 1941, Kautzky found a place to build a summer house for himself and his family in Rockport, Massachusetts. Here, he could enjoy proximity to the sea and paint uninterruptedly away from the distractions of his New York studio, The town had schools for young artists, held many public art exhibits, and gave him the opportunity to meet several other notable artists who worked in the vicinity. After the 2011 regional election, the People's Party (PP) was re-elected to a fourth consecutive term in office with an absolute majority of seats, with the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) under Tomás Gómez obtaining the worst result of its history in the region. President Esperanza Aguirre, which had renewed the office for a third term, resigned on 17 September 2012 allegedly a result of health issues but also for "personal reasons". Burghersh evidently very speedily obtained the complete confidence of the young king, which he retained uninterruptedly to the end of his life. Maharaja of Mysore was the principal title of the ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore in India until the abolition of the monarchy in 1950; the head of the royal family from 1950 to 1971; and, unofficially, the head of the erstwhile royal family following the removal of titles and privileges in 1971. The Wodeyar dynasty was founded as a feudatory principality in 1399, which grew into the Kingdom of Mysore. The Wodeyars ruled that kingdom almost uninterruptedly between 1399 and 1947; they ruled initially as vassals of the Vijayanagara Empire (1399–1565), then as independent rulers (1565–1761), then as puppet rulers under Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan (1761–1796) and finally as allies of the British crown (1799–1947).

Not counting the Jewish population (already established as a Portuguese minority), the Genoese were the most numerous expatriate community, followed by those of the Venetians and other Italians, and the Dutch and English. In 1971 he was the Delegate of the Spanish Syndical Organization (OSE) in Torrelavega. In 1976, he was a founder of the Association in Defense of the Interests of Cantabria (ADIC), a pioneer organization in the defense of the autonomy of Cantabria, and later of the Regionalist Party of Cantabria (PRC), founded in 1978. The drug violence in the state of Nuevo León and all across Mexico has left more than 50,000 people dead since President Felipe Calderón took office in 2006. His military-led approach shortly after taking office spiraled the violence in the country, and has eroded the support of Calderon's conservative National Action Party (PAN), which did not regain the presidential seat in the 2012 presidential elections. The city of Monterrey was long been a bastion of the PAN, and the local business community has been "livid" about the violence in their city. Surveys showed that voters thought that the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), which ruled Mexico uninterruptedly from 1929 to 2000, is likely to control and put down the violence.

Boldrini has embodied the ethical and political motives behind the struggle of the Italian Resistance, becoming one of the most authoritative and credible representatives at the institutional level: after being elected to the Constituent Assembly, Boldrini became the first President of the National Association of Italian Partisans, holding this office from 1947 to 2006. Boldrini has been later elected to the Chamber of Deputies from 1948 to 1972 and to the Senate from 1972 to 1992, being a member of the Parliament uninterruptedly from 1948 to 1994. In 1991, Boldrini joined the Democratic Party of the Left, and in 1998 he joined the Democrats of the Left until he decided to leave politics in 2005. He died in his hometown Ravenna on 22 January 2008, at the age of 92.

Miguel I's banishment did not protect the citizenship of those exiled by law. Bolivia debuted in the OTI Festival in 1972 and since then, the country participated uninterruptedly till the last edition of the show in 2000. Bolivia is one of the least lucky countries participating in the event. All this pales in comparison to the (presumably legendary) 700,000 ślokas of the lost original Brihatkatha. Somadeva’s narrative captivates both by its simple and clear, though very elegant, style and diction and by his skill in drawing with a few strokes pictures of types and characters taken from the real every-day life. Hence it is that even in the miraculous and fantastical facts and events that make up the bulk of the main story and of a great deal of the incidental tales the interest of the reader is uninterruptedly kept. His lively and pleasant art of story-telling — though now and then encumbered with inflatedness or vitiated by far-fetched false wit — is enhanced also by his native humor and the elegant and pointed sentences strewn about here and there with a good taste.

According to classical Marxism, revolution in peasant-based countries such as Russia prepares the ground ultimately only for a development of capitalism since the liberated peasants become small owners, producers and traders which leads to the growth of commodity markets, from which a new capitalist class emerges. Only fully developed capitalist conditions prepare the basis for socialism. Trotsky agreed that a new socialist state and economy in a country like Russia would not be able to hold out against the pressures of a hostile capitalist world as well as the internal pressures of its backward economy. The revolution, Trotsky argued, must quickly spread to capitalist countries, bringing about a socialist revolution which must spread worldwide. In this way the revolution is "permanent", moving out of necessity first, from the bourgeois revolution to the workers’ revolution and from there uninterruptedly to European and worldwide revolutions.

Martinat began his political career in the Italian Social Movement, holding positions both in the youth formations and in the Youth Front Secretariat and has been, during the 1970s, the organizer of the security services for Giorgio Almirante's meetings. In 1973, Martinat was elected to the central committee of the party and in 1979 he became a member of the national leadership, after being appointed provincial secretary of the MSI of Turin. Due to Televisa's multiple and diverse areas of business and political interests around the country, Latin America and the U.S., it has been often accused of airing misleading information about individuals or organizations in which may exist a conflict of interest. Many remember the famous phrase from the former owner of Televisa Emilio Azcarraga Milmo referring to himself as a "soldado del Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI)" (soldier of the Institutional Revolutionary Party), the longtime ruling political party in Mexico that held presidency of Mexico uninterruptedly for 71 years from 1929 to 2000, however, with his death and the arrival of his son Emilio Azcarraga Jean to the head of the network, there was the promise to cut all political ties with the PRI. Started as a football club and participated during World War II in the games organised by the "Union of Greek Athletes" (founded by Gregoris Lambrakis) seeking finance in order to fund public messes for the starving population. After the war the Esperos football team played in Division 1 for three periods (1948–49, 1949–50 and 1954–55) and in Division 2 most of the time. Since 1944, POK Esperos (the official name standing for Panathlitikos Omilos Kallitheas, Allsports Club of Kallithea) has also uninterruptedly participated in all national volleyball (men) and basketball (men) (Esperos Kallitheas B.C.) championships with 7 and 8 Division 1 participations respectively. POK ESPEROS is a founding member of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK), the Hellenic Volleyball Federation (EOΠE), the Hellenic Table Tennis Federation (EΦOEΠA) and also a member of the Hellenic Handball Federation (OXE).

In Shri Singha college at Dzogchen Monastery and at Pemé Thang and other places, he turned the wheel of Dharma uninterruptedly, teaching on the treatises of Maitreya, the Middle way, Abhidharma, Secret Essence Tantra, Treasury of Precious Qualities, Ascertainment of the Three Vows and other topics. In particular, when he taught on The Way of the Bodhisattva in the vicinity of Dzogchen Shri Singha for several years in succession, large numbers of flowers called Serchen, with between thirty and fifty petals, blossomed all of a sudden, and they became known as ‘bodhicharyavatara flowers.’ He went to Kathok Dorje Den, where he offered prostrations and 'circumambulated' (Wylie: skor ba) the reliquaries of the three great masters Dampa Deshek, Tsangtön Dorje and Jampa Bum.

Cavalcade in Madrid Magi's Eve in Madrid The Cavalcade of the Magi is a traditional parade with floats carrying the wise men taking place in practically all Spanish cities and villages (known in Spanish as Cabalgata de Reyes Magos, in Catalan as La Cavalcada de Reis, in Galician as O Cabalgata dos Reis Magos and in Basque as Errege magoen desfilea), in Andorra and Argentina , in some cities and towns in Mexico and Gibraltar. The Magi (of which tradition holds there were three: Melchior, Gaspar, and Baltasar) ride through the streets, as their pages (both boys and girls) collect children's letters to the kings and also throw candy to children. The cavalcade usually includes dancers, musicians, and pages, as well as other assistants to the kings. The first Calvacade in Spain is documented from 1855 in Barcelona, and the longest-standing cavalcade is in Alcoi, in the Valencian Land, where it has been celebrated uninterruptedly since 1866.

Constructed in 1862, the facilities were operated by the Singapore Gas Company (now called "City Gas") and produced gas uninterruptedly for over 130 years, except for brief pauses during World War I and World War II. It was decommissioned on 23 March 1998, and all operations were taken over by the Senoko Gasworks in Sembawang. Today, a sculpture titled Spirit of Kallang by Singaporean artist Lim Leong Seng is standing in the Kallang Riverside Park to commemorate the Kallang Gasworks. Built on the runway site of the former Kallang Airport prior to the development of the old National Stadium, the now-demolished Kallang Park was a large public park that consisted of children's playgrounds, a fountain gifted by the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI), carnival booths and the popular Wonderland Amusement Park. Originally proposed by then-Minister for National Development Ong Eng Guan under "Project Lung", the Kallang Park was the first attempt at redeveloping the lands previously occupied by the Kallang Airport.

He undertook an ambitious program of acquiring new players. Some of them would become notable footballers in the 1960s and 1970s, such as Antonio Roma, Silvio Marzolini, Ernesto Grillo, Dante Lugo, and Antonio Garabal (the latter three were Argentine expatriates brought back from European teams). The squad victory over arch-rival River Plate in 1962 was the first major title since 1954, and was followed by the 1964 and 1965, and the Nacional championships in 1969, 1970, and 1976, totalizing 7 league titles. Armando was also the father of the Torneos de Verano, a series of short friendly pre-season tournaments held during the southern summer in Argentina every year, usually in January and February. The competition was held for the first time in 1968, with the games played at "General San martín" stadium of Mar del Plata, the biggest seaside beach resort in Argentina. Since the first edition in 1968, the Torneos de Verano have been uninterruptedly played, then being expanded to other cities of Argentina such as Córdoba, Mendoza, Rosario and Tandil among others.

Die Landsgemeinde, fresco in the Federal Palace of Switzerland by Albert Welti and Wilhelm Balmer The Landsgemeinde assembly is a tradition with continuity back to the later Middle Ages, first recorded in the context of the formation of the Old Swiss Confederacy. The tradition ultimately continues the Germanic thing, although not uninterruptedly, as the Alamanni had lost their independence to the Frankish Empire in the 8th century, but re-emerging in territories with imperial immediacy since the 13th century. The first Landsgemeinde proper is attested for Uri in 1231; however, these early assemblies grew as it were seamlessly out of the older institution of blood courts (assemblies with the purpose of dispensing judgement on criminal offenses, see high justice). The Middle Latin texts when recording a Landsgemeinde usually express this by making universitas "the universality", or communitas hominum "the community of men" of a certain canton the subject of a sentence (see, for example, the Federal Charter of 1291), in order to emphasize that the decision was made by the community (direct democracy) rather than by a political elite.

Community Brit Braja is composed mostly of Jewish converts with some historical Jews, although all members are considered as Jews, without any distinction; it is a non- denominational community (independent of other Jewish currents), but is governed by ethical and theological principles of reformist or progressive Judaism, so this community presents a liberal and progressive approach to Judaism, according to the times in which Judaism is lived. It is a self- sustaining and autonomous non-profit institution created around the idea of openness and acceptance. It specializes in providing distance education for Jews in Latin America and Spain by providing coverage to Jews from diverse backgrounds who reside throughout the Mexican Republic, Latin America and other parts of the world (Spanish speaking), which they share A liberal thought. It is the first reformist or progressive community in Mexico and the only one in Latin America that transmits its religious services uninterruptedly online and in real time, transmitted from the Brit Brajá Synagogue, as well as a Yeshivá online the Yeshivá Brit Brajá.

Most importantly in our ever-changing community and economy, The Island Sun has remained punctual, reliable and competitive thanks also to its loyal readership, regular advertisers and a committed staff. Vernon W. Pickering described the entire enterprise as a “team achievement” that has served the BVI community uninterruptedly for almost 60 years. He identified two pillars of the Sun success story in the persons of publishing consultant Dr. Giorgio Migliavacca, and circulation and advertising manager Delseita “Peggy” Carney-Liburd. News items and editorials from the ‘Sun’ are frequently reprinted or referred to in the international media, including The Washington Post, CNN, PBS, BBC, and the British Daily Telegraph. Also, Caribbean newspapers such as St. Croix Avis, and the Voice of St. Lucia, along with scores of other travel magazines and publications carry reports from the ‘Island Sun’.

The term Davis's law is named after Henry Gassett Davis, an American orthopedic surgeon known for his work in developing traction methods. Its earliest known appearance is in John Joseph Nutt's 1913 book Diseases and Deformities of the Foot, where Nutt outlines the law by quoting a passage from Davis's 1867 book, Conservative Surgery: :"Ligaments, or any soft tissue, when put under even a moderate degree of tension, if that tension is unremitting, will elongate by the addition of new material; on the contrary, when ligaments, or rather soft tissues, remain uninterruptedly in a loose or lax state, they will gradually shorten, as the effete material is removed, until they come to maintain the same relation to the bony structures with which they are united that they did before their shortening. Nature never wastes her time and material in maintaining a muscle or ligament at its original length when the distance between their points of origin and insertion is for any considerable time, without interruption, shortened." The Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (UTP) is the highest hierarchy public institution, regarding higher education in Panama. It was formerly the Engineering School of the University of Panama, which in 1975 became Polytechnic Institute and, due to the need of a new model of university, it became the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, by means of Law 18 of August 13, 1981. On October 9, 1984 the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá was definitively organized by means of Law 17. Law 57 of July 26, 1996 modifies and adds to Law 17 of 1984. Since class of 1981, the nation has received uninterruptedly the delivery of more than 43,000 professionals from the UTP; their knowledge, skills and vision contribute to the development of the Republic of Panama. UTP started with six bachelor's degrees and 15 technical careers. Currently it offers 43 advanced careers, 28 bachelor's degrees and 21 technical careers. The synergy created with the Panamanian Government, private sector and society allows the UTP to maintain a state of the art academic offer and to contribute efficiently with the technological and social development of the country.

First brought to North America by the Spanish during the Spanish colonial period in the 16th century, Spanish was the first European language spoken in the Americas. Spanish is the oldest European language in the United States, spoken uninterruptedly for four and a half centuries, since the founding of Saint Augustine, Florida in 1565. Today, 90% of all Hispanics and Latinos speak English, and at least 78% speak fluent Spanish. Additionally, 2.8 million non-Hispanic Americans also speak Spanish at home for a total of 41.1 million. With 40% of Hispanic and Latino Americans being immigrants, and with many of the 60% who are U.S.-born being the children or grandchildren of immigrants, bilingualism is the norm in the community at large. At home, at least 69% of all Hispanics over the age of five are bilingual in English and Spanish, whereas up to 22% are monolingual English-speakers, and 9% are monolingual Spanish speakers. Another 0.4% speak a language other than English and Spanish at home. [There were 39.5 million Hispanic and Latino Americans aged 5 or more in 2006. 8.5 million of them, or 22%, spoke only English at home, and another 156,000, or 0.4%, spoke neither English nor Spanish at home.

In December 1933, the president of the Government of Catalonia, Francesc Macià, was replaced by Lluís Companys, one of the founders of the Unió de Rabassaires, whose main objective was access to the land of the rabassieres tenants. Company's immediately stated his intention to carry out an agrarian reform adapted to the specificity of the Catalan countryside, especially in the sector of the vineyard, in which some 70,000 small farmers dedicated to the cultivation of grapes did not have ownership of the land, but cultivating it under long-term contracts that depended on the life of the vineyards (rabassa morta). They ran the risk of being evicted from the land. Thus, the Parliament of Catalonia unanimously approved on March 21, 1934 by the deputies present—those of the Catalan League, a new denomination of the veteran Regionalist League of Catalonia, were absent—the Crop Contracts Law, equivalent of the State law of leases that could not be approved by the Spanish Parliament in the summer of 1933, which guaranteed to the rabassaires the exploitation of lands for a minimum of six years and the right to access the property of the plots that they had been cultivating uninterruptedly for more than eighteen years.
