Unformal was an Azerbaijani rock band from Baku, performing in Azeri and in English as well. Unformal was founded in 2000 by Rustam Mammadov and Novruz Ismayilov. During the first years of its existence it was known as a hard rock band. In 2001 Unformal won Azerbaijan Rock Award Competition.

In 2006 vocalist Delya and electro-guitar performer Looper joined to the band. Since then Unformal changed and now it is an alternative rock band. In March 2007 the single “Sonsuz yol” acclaimed by listeners, becoming the top-ranked song on the Azerbaijani, Ukrainian and Turkish charts. Unformal also took place in national final of Azerbaijan in Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and became second after Elnur Huseynov and Samir Javadzadeh.

Born in Baku, Kazimova studied vocal arts at the Baku Academy of Music. After graduating, she briefly performed as part of an opera troupe. From the early 2000s, she was a member of the rock band Unformal and later the lead singer for the duo Milk & Kisses. Both bands participated in the Azerbaijani national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest before, with Unformal placing second in the national final in 2008, and Milk & Kisses placing second again in the national final in 2010.

Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, the rock audience in Azerbaijan started slowly to grow and groups like Unformal gained popularity among local fans. Sumgayit was credited as the main regional driving force behind these rock bands of the 1990s, including Yuxu, Spark, Miraj, Mozalan, and Sirr. Other active bands were Industry, NemO, P.G.L.U. Project, Fatal Nation, Taj.

In the final she came 22nd with 33 points. Kazimova is currently a contestant of the Ukrainian reality talent show Holos Krayiny (part of the international syndication The Voice). Svyatoslav Vakarchuk turned around his chair so he will be her coach and mentor for the duration of the show. Kazimova has also starred in two Azerbaijani films Try Not to Breathe (alongside Fakhraddin Manafov) in 2006 and Purgatory (for which she recorded the soundtrack "Sonsuz yol" as part of the band Unformal) in 2007.

Zaritsky developed a painting style known as "lyrical abstraction." In this kind of abstraction the images are created by the way the brush is pulled along the surface of the painting in order to produce compositions and paint stains that are for the most part square, whose disengagement from the realistic source and adaptation to the spirit of the painting, its impression as he calls it, increased with the passing of the years. Some words have parallel forms from other declensions with a little change in a meaning: dukra, dukros; sesė, sesės; palikuonis, -io, palikuonė, -ės. The forms sesė and dukra are more like unformal, than duktė, -ers and sesuo, -ers. For the word moteris the form motera were existent in dialects, but it is, differently from dukra, sesė cases, only a formal shift of declension without a meaning variation and such word would be perceived as a vernacularism and obsolete. The forms from the two more declensions sometimes occur in a speech for the masculine words of the fifth declension: of the third and of the first declensions.

Azerbaijani Contestants for Eurovision-2008 to Train in Ukraine. 19 January 2008 On 2 February 2008, the jury chose Elnur Hüseynov over two other candidates (Aynur Isgandarli and the rock band Unformal), and it was then revealed that the winning song "Day After Day" would be performed as a duet by Hüseynov and Javadzadeh.Elnur Hüseynov to Represent Azerbaijan at Eurovision. 2 February 2008 In an interview following the decision, one of the coordinators of the contest (and author of the lyrics of "Day After Day") Zahra Badalbeyli stated that it was not contrary to the contest rules for Elnur Hüseynov to invite another performer or more to sing with him, and that it was his and Javadzadeh's mutual agreement to perform the song in a duet.
