An ultra-modern Central Library Complex, constructed with a grant from TETFund was commissioned by the Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Dr. Samuel Ortom on the 9th of August, 2016. With a sitting capacity of approximately 3,000, this building currently houses about 45,000 books and monographs and 3,000 journal titles in addition to subscription databases, open access resources and e-books database.
The National Antivenom and Vaccine Production Center (NAVPC) is considered the first and only center whithin the Persian Gulf region, and the biggest center in the Middle East, which produce specialized and multi-effect antivenom with the utilization of local snake and scorpion venoms. (NAVPC), is a non-profit producer of very potent antivenom against the venoms of local snakes and scorpions, has an ultra-modern plant for plasma processing and ampoule filling, which was built in accordance with the European Standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The Center has the capacity to supply all the antivenom requirements of the Kingdom and Arab states of the Persian Gulf. It also has the potential of supplying neighboring countries with specialized antivenom if the demand arises.
A thin aluminium or steel layer, which is applied to the reverse of the fabric using ultra modern technical engineering, reduces the ingress of sun rays and incoming light through effective reflection to create a soft light without glare, whilst simultaneously minimising the ingress of heat. The coating achieves function values which are impossible to attain with conventional textiles. If special properties are in demand for delicate and exacting applications such as in office buildings, museums or the health care sector Création Baumann has a palette of innovative and functional textiles. The spectrum includes blackout fabrics, textiles for privacy and glare protection, flame retardant fabrics, fabrics which have been tested for harmful substances and textiles that offer acoustic solutions to direct and control sound.
From 1974 to 1980, Massumi returned to Iran by invitation from the Shah's Court to bring modern cardiology to Iran and establish modern techniques in the 350-bed cardiology center being constructed at the time. Simultaneously, as Professor and Chief of the Department of Cardiology at Tehran University, Massumi laid the groundwork for an up-to-date teaching center which, to this day, continues to produce qualified cardiologists. The pupils that Massumi has trained at the University of Tehran have become among the most respected cardiologists in Iran and have been the driving force in building ultra-modern cardiac centers in several major cities in the nation. Of these, the most recent center was built in the city of Shiraz in southern Iran in 2008.
The penthouse accommodated the university's radio station (WUSV) and its equipment, including a steel radio tower, later dismantled in 1974. When the building was first constructed, its ultra modern design, technologically advanced features, and ability to house all of the science departments in one building made it a vital part of the University of Scranton campus. Before the construction of Loyola Hall, engineering students had to go elsewhere for the final two years of their education because the university lacked the proper equipment to teach them. In the 1987, $2,750,000 expansion of Loyola Hall, the existing building was remodeled and an expansion towards Monroe Avenue was added, in order to accommodate the growing student body and the expanding science programs.

Throughout the 1990s the market for ferry services in southwestern Nova Scotia was threatened by significant expansions of 4-lane expressways in northern Nova Scotia and across southern New Brunswick so it was theorized that the Yarmouth - Bar Harbor ferry service could maintain market share if the ferry voyage time was shortened. Marketed as "The Cat", the use of the ferry service grew largely due to Bay Ferries' investment and the novelty of riding the ultra-modern high speed catamaran. In 2002 Bay Ferries traded in HSC Incat 046 for a larger vessel HSC The Cat which was also marketed as "The Cat". Beginning in 2003, Bay Ferries began operating HSC The Cat during the winter months on services in the Caribbean.
Frasier's apartment was designed to be ultra-modern in an eclectic style (as Frasier himself points out in the pilot). One of the show's signature elements that it became well known for was the apartment's design which included elements such as a slightly split-level design, doors with triangular wooden inlay features, numerous pieces of well-known high-end furniture (such as a replica of Coco Chanel's sofa, and both Eames Lounge Chair and Wassily Chair) and a notable view from the terrace which was frequently complimented by visitors. The main set consisted of the open- concept living area with a sitting/TV space and dining area on the lower level and a piano exit to the terrace on the rear upper level. The set also included the kitchen through an open archway.
The partnership brought together the best possible raw materials and the finest production and bottling facilities in the world, merging assets that include an ultra-modern production facility in Spain directly next to the olive farms. In October 2017, the two groups strengthened the alliance by signing a new agreement that increased the companies' stakes in one another from 20% to 50%. Under this agreement, both groups share a 50% stake in Mercaoleo (which possesses two bottling plants in Antequera, Malaga), a 25% stake in Qorteba Internacional (the refinery and olive oil storage of Alcolea, Córdoba) and a 50% stake in the Pompeian Group. DCOOP also made a significant investment in Pompeian's U.S. operations, which includes oil bottling plants on both the East and West coast and bulk oil trading operations.
The novel was well received by reviewers. Mal Peet, writing for The Guardian, praised "Kennen's narrative method"; stating that from the plot synopsis itself the novel may be seen to be "unremittingly bleak", however states that "the combination of point of view and pace urges the reader so swiftly on that there simply isn't time for the novel's Grand Guignol imagery to become ponderous"; concluding that "her grip on noir is as muscular as ever". Philip Womack, for The Daily Telegraph, found the novel to be "involving and scary" and called it an "ultra-modern story with a twist". The novel received a B rating from Wondrous Reads youth-fiction review website, with reviewer Jenny finding the novel to be a "fast-paced ... story of dares and boundaries".
They re-entered service in 1947, re- engined with the reliable American-built Pratt & Whitney R-1830 engines; also de-icing equipment, medium-range cockpit radios, and limited cabin heating, the designation changing to SE.161.P7. These enhancements partially reassured commercial airline customers. The Languedoc was soon a familiar type on Air France's increasing European network and continued to operate scheduled services to London Heathrow, Berlin Tempelhof, Paris Le Bourget and Brussels Melsbroek until summer 1952, when they were steadily replaced by the reliable and popular Douglas DC-4. Despite the costly experience of introducing the Languedoc to service, they were never as reliable as the Douglas DC-4 or the ultra-modern turboprop Vickers Viscount, such that many French passengers refused to fly on the unreliable, unheated and noisy aircraft.

Europahaus in 1936, showing the tall central section with Allianz and Odol signs, sandwiched between Europa Tanz Pavillon (left), and Deutschlandhaus with Europa Palast cinema (right) After much argument, Europahaus was finally completed in 1931, an ultra-modern building in the New Objectivity style, somewhat daring for its time. It possessed a long facade along Stresemannstraße, yet it was actually planned not as one monolithic building, but a group of individual but linked structures, of which the name Europahaus really applied only to the tall central section. The main tower-block contained 11 storeys with ground-level storefronts and offices above; with a roof "garden" facility making for a 12th floor. As it was much higher than any of the surrounding buildings at the time, rooftop patrons enjoyed excellent views of the city.
In the early 1990s, the value of a meticulously restored '57 Chevrolet convertible was as high as $100,000. Although those peaks gave way significantly after 1992, the '57 Chevrolet has held its value and is now poised to exceed the previous peak. Although restored original examples are increasingly rare, modern customizers and restorers are creating fast, powerful, ultra-modern hot rods that are winning the '57 Chevy a whole new generation of fans. As original cars become harder to find, fiberglass and all-steel reproductions (EMI in Detroit, Michigan was the first to build restoration bodies using original firewalls with VIN numbers - the steel reproduction bodyshells are manufactured by Real Deal Steel in Sanford, Florida, using reproduction sheetmetal) are making it possible for future generations to enjoy the '57 Chevrolet.
The promotional video for "Tell Me Where It Hurts" was directed by Sophie MullerAbsolute Garbage DVD credits for Oil Factory and filmed in late April in Los Angeles. Muller suggested an homage to Luis Buñuel's 1967 movie Belle de jour in her treatment for the video, along with an ultra-modern French- inspired set, which Garbage felt was perfect for what they wanted visually accompany the song. The Making of "Tell Me Where It Hurts" (DVD track) Shirley Manson alludes to Belle de Jour's Séverine in the "Tell Me Where It Hurts" video.Opening with a tracking shot of Manson arriving at a high-class brothel, dressed like Catherine Deneuve in Belle de jour, where inside she meets the brothel owner, several other girls and three male patrons played by Erikson, Marker and Vig.
In the 1970s, Kroger became the first grocer in the United States to test an electronic scanner and the first to formalize consumer research. Although Kroger has long operated stores in the Huntsville-Decatur area of northern Alabama (as a southern extension of its Nashville, Tennessee, region), it has not operated in the state's largest market, Birmingham, since the early 1970s, when it exited as a result of intense competition from Winn-Dixie and local chains Bruno's Supermarkets and Western Supermarkets. Kroger built an ultra-modern dairy plant (Crossroad Farms Dairy) in Indianapolis in 1972, which was then considered the largest dairy plant in the world. Kroger exited the Chicagoland area market in 1970 selling its distribution warehouse in Northlake, Il. and 24 stores to the Dominick's Finer Foods grocery chain.
There was a 4-month gap between the South African Grand Prix in January and the Spanish Grand Prix in May. Formula One had lost yet another driver: Briton Mike Spence died four days after a practice accident at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway while running one of Andy Granatelli's Lotus turbines when he hit the wall at Turn One and one of the wheels came back into his cockpit and hit him on the head. The first Spanish Grand Prix since 1954 was held at the brand-new, ultra-modern Jarama circuit just north of the Spanish capital city of Madrid, having held a non- championship race in 1967, which Jim Clark won. Jackie Stewart had to miss this race due to a wrist injury; Amon took pole.
They're a group you want to spend more time with." Adam Sweeting of The Arts Desk stated "The refreshing thing about Five-0 (revisited) is that while it has been given a brisk 21st-century spring clean, with international terrorism, people- smuggling and a blast of ultra-modern spook technology, its uncomplicated heart still belongs to the 1970s." Sweeting added that "the good guys (and girl) are clearly identified," and "the baddies are unambiguously despicable." A reviewer from The Honolulu Advertiser called it "A smart script," with "slick production values and maybe a splash of nostalgia got the remake of Hawaii Five-O placed on the CBS prime-time lineup this fall, but it will take more than beefcake and a remixed theme song to keep the show on the air.

The one-of-a-kind Terrace Theatre was one of the country's first ultra-modern theaters, the Twin Cities' first major suburban movie theater built after World War II, and the last major movie theater designed by L&K.; The StarTribune reported that the Terrace was deemed eligible to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004 but the designation lapsed after a ten-year period. In 2015, Denis Gardner, the National Register historian for the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Office, said the theater was "one of the most distinctive buildings in Robbinsdale" and that it was the culmination of L&K;'s "considerable theater- design experience and talents". A new owner changed the character of the building in 1987 by splitting it into three screens.
The Philippines, on 19 September 2008 won the "Gold Prize", the Expo's highest award for a participating country. The award noted the quality of the Philippine pavilion’s internal and external décor, consisting of 1,000 crystal-like bubble sand, as well as its functionality, which had supreme relevance to the exposition’s theme of “Water and Sustainable Development.” Tourism Secretary Joseph Ace Durano said “this recognition is truly well-deserved as our country’s wealthy aquatic life has been captured by the equally rich imagination of our fellowmen. While other countries utilized ultra modern technology, we chose to highlight more community-involved practices as well as natural land irrigation, aquatic recreation and marine resources preservation.” The Philippine pavilion's attractions included the meeting of the two mascots, Fluvi and Filippo, and “Filipinas Te Espera Nights,” a series of marketing events.Globalnation.
The prototype – a Leeds bus to the specifications of W. Vane Moreland – with its deep windows and four window bays rather than the then standard five had looked ultra-modern when shown on a pre-war Regent at the 1937 Commercial Motor Show in London, it is an acknowledged influence on the London Transport designers whose RT1 appeared two years later with similar construction and outline. Trolleybuses continued to figure, on Sunbeam/Karrier, Crossley or BUT chassis. The most striking of these were the Coronation class vehicles built on Sunbeam MF2B chassis for Kingston upon Hull Corporation Transport. These had a front entrance on the front overhang and a central exit; they were fitted with twin staircases and were intended to be one-man operated so were equipped with trolley-pole retriever equipment at the rear.
Reprising a salesman role that Daffy previously played in Daffy Dilly (1948), The Stupor Salesman (1948) and Fool Coverage (1952), Design for Leaving opens with Daffy as a fast-talking door- to-door salesman from the Acme Future-Antic Push-Button Home of Tomorrow Household Appliance Company, Inc. Daffy visits Elmer Fudd at his house as he is preparing to leave for work, and says that Acme has authorized him to install, at no cost, a complete line of ultra-modern automatic household appliances (on a 10-day free trial). Elmer tries to speak but is repeatedly interrupted by Daffy, who grabs Elmer by the arm and escorts him to a bus to take him to the office. Despite Elmer's protests that he has his own car, he is placed on a non-stop bus to Duluth.
National Heroes Stadium. As the hosts of the 2012 Zone VI Games and the capital city of Zambia, Lusaka boasts extensive sports infrastructure, including Nkholoma Stadium in Chelstone, Sunset Stadium along Thabo Mbeki Road, Woodlands Stadium in Woodlands Residential Area, the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) along Great North Road, the Lusaka Golf Club in Chainama Hills and many other places. The city's ultra-modern 60,000 seat stadium, built by China, is named the National Heroes Stadium in memory of the Chipolopolo national team football players who died in a plane crash off the coast of Gabon in 1993. The stadium was completed by the end of 2013 and since then has hosted most of the Zambia National Football team's international matches, local club matches, Zambia's 50th Year Golden Jubilee Celebrations and a Requiem Mass for the late President of Zambia, Michael Sata.
Many later bridges had a reinforced concrete core clad in stonework or brick. However, with the bridges the shift was never as complete as it was in other aspects of Reichsautobahn architecture: in 1940–41, along the Rhine, a stone bridge was under construction at Frankenthal and at the same time at Rodenkirchen in Cologne, an ultra-modern suspension bridge by Bonatz. In addition to the self-image of modernity, another reason for this was the enormous cost of stone construction in man-hours and in material; so much masonry construction was carried out in the Third Reich that shortages occurred. Hence many of the viaducts were in simplified, modernized form, for example the series at the Drackensteiner Hang by Paul Bonatz and the bridge over the Lahn valley at Limburg, by Bonatz and Gottwalt Schaper.
It takes tourists from La Palud up to the Torino Hut at its top on Pointe Helbronner. Costing over 105million euros, the Skyway Monte Bianco is regarded as the world's most expensive cable car installation. Other recent enhancements to tourist infrastructure across the massif have included construction of a new, and ultra-modern Goûter Hut to accommodate the increasing numbers of mountaineers attempting the popular Goûter Route to the summit of Mont Blanc, and investment of ½ billion euros in Les Grands Montets and other ski areas over a six-year period from 2014 onwards. Increasing numbers of mountain tourists, ease of access into the high mountain environment, plus promotion and encouragement by tour companies offering ascents of Mont Blanc to people with little or no previous alpine experience, have led to an increase in mountain accidents and even inappropriate demands to be rescued.
In order to select the best place for establishing a prominent research and development centre there was a consideration of many places in Russia and the choice was made in favour of Skolkovo. Dmitry Medvedev declared this on March 19, 2010 at the meeting with Winners of International School and Student Olympics and University Students who Hold Presidential Scholarships. According to the president there will be an ultra- modern science and technology centre or even a kind of town, for the development and commercialisation of advanced technologies. “In fact, this will be a new town, in which the centre would be charged with developing all five presidential high-tech priorities, all the areas designated for modernisation, primarily energy, IT, telecommunications, biomedical technology and nuclear technology. But of course this doesn’t mean other modernisation components may not be promoted there as well,” Dmitry Medvedev said.
This came in light of similar proposals, completed in 2014, to reintroduce trams to Edinburgh. The City of Glasgow Council and SPT have commissioned a £500,000 study into the viability of such a system, which would initially operate from the city centre to the new Glasgow Harbour site then across the River Clyde to the Southern General Hospital and through Govan and along the south bank of the Clyde before crossing the river again back into the city centre. There are proposals to run trams further than this route out to the Braehead shopping centre and possibly Glasgow Airport; to Clydebank; and across the rest of the city. Presently SPT has decided that this route will not see trams running along it, but rather an "ultra-modern" bus service termed "Clyde Fastlink" will operate part of the route, running from the city centre to the Glasgow Harbour area.
Not until 1966, when the Festival site was moved to reclaimed land just north of and near to the small lake harbour, did the Puccini Festival became an annual summer event. With its small villages on the opposite shore, whose flickering lights at night provide unforgettable natural scenery to complement the performances taking place on the stage, the location proved a success, although the theatre's ultra modern design and size have sometimes been drawbacks. After the creation of the Puccini Festival Foundation in 1990, achieved in order to put the event on a more established financial footing, plans were put in place to create a new open-air theatre with up-to-date facilities and acoustics. The town authorities of Viareggio purchased of land to create the Parco della Musica (Music Park) and on it constructed the Teatro al Aperto (the Outdoor Theatre) now seating 3,200.
Simou () is a village in the Paphos District of Cyprus, located 5 km northwest of Fyti. A mountainous settlement of Cyprus, at an altitude of 420 meters and a vineyard area with winemaking varieties, pulses, grains, citrus, almonds and olive trees, Simou constitutes a small but growing community with a few hundred inhabitants, built on the top of a valley slope of the Stavros tis Psokas river (or else Skarfou), offering a unique view to the visitor. The area combines the traditional architectural character with the stone-made structures and the winding streets in the village's old core, while ultra- modern dwellings have been erected around its perimeter. The community has existed since Byzantine times under the same name, which it obtain from Simos or Simonas, a settler or landowner of the region or, according to other sources, one of the Apostles of Christ.

The failure of her business meant that Schiaparelli's name is not as well remembered as that of her great rival Chanel . But in 1934, Time placed Chanel in the second division of fashion, whereas Schiaparelli was one of "a handful of houses now at or near the peak of their power as arbiters of the ultra-modern haute couture....Madder and more original than most of her contemporaries, Mme Schiaparelli is the one to whom the word "genius" is applied most often". At the same time Time recognised that Chanel had assembled a fortune of some US$15m despite being "not at present the most dominant influence in fashion", whereas Schiaparelli relied on inspiration rather than craftsmanship and "it was not long before every little dress factory in Manhattan had copied them and from New York's 3rd Avenue to San Francisco's Howard Street millions of shop girls who had never heard of Schiaparelli were proudly wearing her models".
The VAZ plant was described as "ultra-modern" by the Chicago Tribune in a 1973 article. Production reached 750,000 cars a year in 1975, making the Tolyatti plant the third-most productive in the world. Between 1977 and 1981, AvtoVAZ acquired 30 welding robots from Japanese firms. The original, Fiat-based models included the VAZ-2101 sedan and the VAZ-2102 estate. A deluxe version of the sedan, VAZ-2103, which was based on the Fiat 124 Special and featured a new 1.5 L engine and twin headlights, was introduced in 1972. In 1974, the original VAZ-2101 was updated with new engines and interiors, whereas the VAZ-2102 underwent the same improvements in 1976. The body style with two round headlights was manufactured until 1988. The VAZ-2106, introduced in December 1975 as an updated version of the VAZ-2103, was based on the 1972 Fiat 124 Special T, featuring different interiors and new 1.6-L engine.
Rostow himself noted that the University of Texas campus was ultra-modern as the Texas government had used its oil wealth to create a gleaming, modernistic campus, but complained that the university administration was more interested in supporting the football team, the Longhorns, than in research and teaching. From 1969 to 1971, Rostow served as one of the ghostwriters on Johnson's memoir, The Vantage Point, writing all of the chapters dealing with foreign affairs. As the teaching load at the University of Texas was very light, Rostow had much time for research and between 1969–2003 wrote 21 books, mostly on world economic history with a particular focus on economic modernization. In his own memoir, The Diffusion of Power, Rostow argued that for the justice of the Vietnam War and lashed out at Kennedy for ignoring his advice in 1962 to invade North Vietnam, writing that this "was the greatest single error of U.S foreign policy in the 1960s".

The Film City is a gateway to Noida's twin brother, Greater Noida, which has developed as an ultra-modern industrial township, evincing interest from large globally established multinational corporations and other corporate houses promising international standards of living. Large- scale activity in all these studios, outdoor locales provided by the Film City, and the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida have put it on the world map of filmmaking. For the wide range of news, views, and current affairs programs being shot there, the Film City continues to attract a host of politicians, bureaucrats, and celebrities from practically every walk of life, making it one of the most sought-after centers of VIP visits.

There had been an attempt to bring about a second American Formula One Grand Prix, specifically to sunny Southern California in 1972, with the United States Grand Prix West at the ultra modern Ontario Motor Speedway after the success of the Questor Grand Prix in 1971, but this was unsuccessful. With the east coast Watkins Glen track on the downslope after two fatalities in successive years and a politically charged 1975 event, the USGP West was created for the 1976 season on a tight circuit made up of city streets in Long Beach, California, located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area on the west coast. A Formula 5000 race was held there in 1975, and the US was just the second country (after Italy in 1957) to host two Championship F1 events in the same season. Southern California had seen a championship Formula One race before; the 1960 United States Grand Prix was held at the famed Riverside Raceway, which was just an hour's drive from Long Beach.

With its timely setting of a swiftly globalising India and, more specifically, the country's own version of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire TV show, combined with timeless melodrama and a hardworking orphan who withstands all manner of setbacks, Slumdog Millionaire plays like Charles Dickens for the 21st century."
