The ultimate importance of the motorway as a transit route shall be achieved upon completion of the proposed expansion of Port of Rijeka and the Rijeka transport node. The expansion is planned to encompass an enhancement of the cargo handling capacity of the Port of Rijeka; improved railroad links; and a new Rijeka bypass motorway linking the A6, via a new interchange, with the present routes of the A7 and A8 motorways. One of the aims of the project is to increase traffic along the A6 route. As of the June 1997 Pan-European Transport Conference in Helsinki, the motorway is a part of the Pan-European corridor Vb. The motorway spans between Bosiljevo 2 interchange and Rijeka–Orehovica interchange on the A7 motorway.

Bumbaugh's spiritual inspiration was drawn from a "blend of paganism and earth worship." His sermons were "small masterpieces of fine detail and subtlety, crafted with an ear for the rhythm and power of language." The most frequently mentioned characteristic of Bu Shang is his love of book learning, and he was well versed in the Classics. He recommended broad, committed learning, and more than a millennium after his lifetime, his phrase, "Reflect on things near at hand" (jinsi) was used as the title of one of the most important works of Neo-Confucianism, by Zhu Xi. However, he had a "tendency toward pedantry", and sometimes treated learning as "an end unto itself". While lavishing praise on him for cultural learning, Confucius mildly criticized Bu Shang for his pedantry, reminding him of the greater ultimate importance of virtuous action over learning. The Analects and the Book of Rites record a number of Bu Shang's sayings, one of the best known being, "Life and death are a matter of Destiny; wealth and honor depend on Heaven".

The urge for the band was to get an album out and it would have been easy to release the first set of songs the band wrote. However, creativity seemed to get in the way and when drummer Rashaun Whetstone joined in 2016, the band entered into a burst of creative productivity that ultimately yielded the songs that appear on Procrastinated Memoirs. The process helped define what the band’s strengths are and the overall vibe and sound the band aspired to have. The band feels that the extreme diversity of all the band members’ influences play a huge role in the uniqueness of the band’s sound. While lead vocalist/lyricist Jacob Needham’s main influences as a child were country music and rap, genres where the lyrics are of ultimate importance, bassist Ben Trexel was weaned on Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, guitarist James Cody on Guns N' Roses and Metallica, and drummer Rashaun Whetstone on groove oriented world music, including that of artists such as Richard Bona and Amadou Mariam. The sound created by the four is “greater than the sum of the parts,” states bassist Trexel.
