The transfer chamber (or "TUP" Transfer-Under-Pressure) is where the bell is mated to the surface saturation system. It is a wet surface chamber where divers prepare for a dive and strip off and clean their gear after return. Connection to the bell may be overhead, through the bottom hatch of the bell, or lateral, through a side door.

The Central District of Bijar County () is a district (bakhsh) in Bijar County, Kurdistan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 66,833, in 17,084 families. The District has two cities: Bijar & Tup Aghaj. The District has five rural districts (dehestan): Howmeh Rural District, Khvor Khvoreh Rural District, Najafabad Rural District, Seylatan Rural District, and Siyah Mansur Rural District.

The process of transferring personnel from one hyperbaric system to another is called transfer under pressure (TUP). This is used to transfer personnel from portable recompression chambers to multi-person chambers for treatment, and between saturation life support systems and personnel transfer capsules (closed bells) for transport to and from the worksite, and for evacuation of saturation divers to a hyperbaric lifeboat.

During this period the party published its own press media Hromada's Thought which was a predecessor of the newspaper Rada. With early dissolution of the Second State Duma and the growing Russian nationalism on the Ukrainian territory (see Pogroms), the party reorganized into the Society of Ukrainian Progressionists (TUP) together with some members of the Ukrainian Social Democratic Labour Party.

Robertson's Hams is a food company in the United States that was founded in 1946 by V.B. "Tup" Robertson in Marietta, Oklahoma. Robertson's Hams first opened in downtown Marietta and later located their main plant near I-35 in Marietta. Robertson's is known for its sugar-cured and hickory smoked line of meat products. The family owned meat business has franchise locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma.

The band's performances were notable for the virtuosity of each member of the group, high energy, and lengthy improvisational excursions. Each member of the trio sang, and Slay sang prominently on a number of songs, including crowd favorites such as "Hyperblood", "Debts and Grudges" and "Love of Pete." Slay left Loppybogymi about a year after the band's release of the album, TUP, in 1993.

Usman was known for his tup-o-tufang style artillery. On his left, he appointed Wali with 1000 cavalry, 2000 infantry, and 30 war elephants. On his right, he appointed Sher- e-Maydan with 700 cavalry, 1000 infantry and 20 war elephants. In 12 March 1612, the two armies met at the nearby village of Daulambapur where they entrenched themselves in a nullah bank.

With the collapse of the Russian Empire a political entity which encompassed political, community, cultural, and professional organizations was established in Kyiv from the initiative from the Association of the Ukrainian Progressionists (abbr. TUP). This entity was called the "Tsentralna Rada" (Central Council) and was headed by the historian, Mykhailo Hrushevskyi. On January 22, 1918, the Tsentralna Rada declared Ukraine an independent country.

The Old Tup tradition was recorded as being extant in an area of north-eastern England that was twenty miles across. This area straddles the border between Derbyshire and Yorkshire and also extends partly into Nottinghamshire. The city of Sheffield was in the centre of the area in which the tradition was recorded. The area of the tradition was bordered to the west by the moorland of the Peak District.

In 1910 he transferred to the department of history and philosophy from which Shulhyn graduated in 1915. Later until 1917, he worked at the department as a professor's assistant. While in Saint Petersburg, Shulhyn joined the Petersburg community of TUP, later switching to the Ukrainian Democratic-Radical Party (later Ukrainian Party of Socialist Federalists). He then discovers that the militia has rigged time bombs to destroy the village in less than five minutes. An Owd 'Oss play (Old Horse), another dramatised folksong in Yorkshire, was also known from roughly the same area, in the late 19thThe Old Horse, Sheffield District, Yorkshire, 1888 and early 20th centuries,The Old Horse: Christmas Play from Notts. [1902] around Christmas.

At a meeting of the Melbourne Cricket Club on 12 December 1885, it was announced that thirteen players including Tup Scott had agreed to form "the strongest all-round team available in the colonies".Harte, p. 140. Wingspan ranges from 7.5-7.8 in (19-19.7 cm). This bird gives a sharp tup or thick call, like that of Townsend's warbler but flat and unmusical, as well as a high see flight call. Jedi Master Shaak Ti brings him to inform Palpatine about the chips, where Palpatine, being the true mastermind behind the conspiracy, reveals the chips’ true purpose to Fives.

In the same year, PBMIT broadened its undergraduate programs in home economics, mathematics, and science. In association with Technological University of the Philippines or TUP, a doctoral degree in Industrial Education Management was offered in 1987. The club decided to omit former captain Murdoch, Bannerman and Percy McDonnell from the team. This move caused widespread criticism, especially as Boyle, Tom Horan and Hugh Massie had already declared themselves unavailable. Scott, now aged 27, was chosen as captain.Harte, p. 141.

In 1668, the province was attacked by the Cossack Stenka Razin and his men. By the late 1710s, the Safavid Empire was in a state of heavy decline, with high-profile issues on its border regions. Amongst these, was the issue related to the Shamkhal of Tarki.

Avelochan Farm lets out self-catering cottages during the warmer months of the year to tourists. The farm itself covers an area of 270 hectares, with arable fields, rough grazing and woodland. At certain times in the year it has around 80 cattle and some 60 Cheviot ewes which are crossed with a Suffolk tup before they are sold in early autumn. One building of note is Clach Mhor (meaning 'big stone' in Gaelic) which is located on the edge of the village.

The Chongar Strait is about long, varying in width from and is less than deep. M3UA enables the SS7 protocol's User Parts (e.g. ISUP, SCCP and TUP) to run over virtually any network technology breaking its limitation to telephony equipment like T-carrier, E-carrier or Asynchronous transfer mode (ATM), which highly improves scalability of the signaling networks. Originally created in the same way as a mast horse or hooden horse, the Derby Tup (ram) represented a male sheep. It took part in a dramatised version of the Derby Ram folksong, which was performed in northern Derbyshire and around Sheffield during the Christmas season by teams of boys. It is "killed" by a butcher and its "blood" is collected in a large bowl. In some versions it is brought back to life by a quack doctor, like a character in the Mummers play.

A wet bell with a gas filled dome provides more comfort and control than a stage and allows for longer time in water. Wet bells are used for air and mixed gas, and divers can decompress on oxygen at . Small closed bell systems have been designed that can be easily mobilised, and include a two-man bell, a handling frame and a chamber for decompression after transfer under pressure (TUP). Divers can breathe air or mixed gas at the bottom and are usually recovered with the chamber filled with air.

Henry James Herbert "Tup" Scott (26 December 1858 – 23 September 1910) was an Australian cricketer who played first-class cricket for Victoria and Test cricket for Australia. He acquired his nickname during a cricket tour of England in 1884 from his love of London sightseeing tours which cost two pence or "tuppence". Scott was born in Toorak, Victoria, and soon moved to Melbourne, where he began to play cricket at a high level. He made his first- class debut in February 1878, and was soon chosen for the Australian team.

HSwMS Belos (III), recent improvements: • Initially, the 100 t crane was used for launching and recovering the URF, a method rather unreliable during rough weather, leading to the construction and installation of the 55 t A-frame aft. • The decompression chamber system was improved leading to a decompression capacity of 40 at a time, including rescuees, medical personnel, and chamber attendants. The system consists of three cylinders divided into 4 main chambers. • Installation of TUP connection system (maximally pressurised to the equivalent of 50 msw) with direct access to the chamber system.

Challenging the Frontiers of Poverty Reduction:Targeting the Ultra Poor (CFPR- TUP) project was initiated by BRAC, a Bangladesh-based development organisation in 2002. The ultra poor are a group of people who eat below 80% of their energy requirements despite spending at least 80% of income on food. In Bangladesh, they constitute the poorest 17.5 percent of the population.Bangladesh Household Income and Expenditure Survey, 2010, Bureau of Statistics These people suffer from chronic hunger and malnutrition, have inadequate shelter, are more prone to disease, deprived of education and more vulnerable to recurring natural disasters.

Since its inception the program has covered 1.6 million ultra poor households in 44 districts of Bangladesh. Outside Bangladesh, Consultative Group for Assisting Poor (CGAP), a World Bank organisation, and the Ford Foundation have studied the TUP program, adapted in eight countries in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and elsewhere in Asia, explicitly modelled on BRAC's. After 1.5 to 3 years, 75% to 98% of participants meet "graduation" criteria. Nicholas Kristof mentioned in a New York Times column that this model is the mechanism of hope that helps people make headway out of poverty.

Old Tup's head was described as being that of a sheep, and was often carved out of wood. In some instances, the wooden tongue of Old Tup was reported as having been painted red. In other instances, there were reports of a real sheep's head, as opposed to a wooden one, being used; these reports include complaints as to the smell of the head. In others, a combination of wooden and real elements were included, with a wooden frame covered by the horns and/or skin from a sheep's head.

At Suffolk University School of Law, Caprio founded the Antonio “Tup” Caprio Scholarship Fund. This scholarship, named after the Judge's father, who had only a fifth grade education, is for Rhode Island students who are committed to improving access to legal services in Rhode Island urban core neighborhoods. A substitute is permitted to take catches as with any other fielder, and on some occasions does. The first occasion in Test cricket was in the Test between England and Australia in 1884, when Australia's captain, Billy Murdoch, took a catch from his teammate Tup Scott while playing as a substitute for England. Hole drew parallels between hoodening and the Christmas Bull tradition recorded in Dorset and Gloucestershire.

Tu'pest is a greatest hits compilation of the Bulgarian rock band Hipodil, released in 2000 under the Riva Sound label, the band's fifth and last release with that company. The name is a pun - from tup - Bulgarian for "dumb", and -est, the superlative suffix in English as in "the best". The main purpose of the release was to finally offer most of the early hits by the band on a CD as Hipodil's first three albums were released on audio cassettes only. Despite the CD release however most of the tracks were hardly remastered and still sound pretty similar to the original versions.

In South Wales, the Mari Lwyd tradition featured troupes of men with a hobby horse knocking at doors over the Christmas period. In an area along the border between Derbyshire and Yorkshire, the Old Tup tradition featured groups knocking on doors around Christmas carrying a hobby horse that had a goat's head. The folklorist Christina Hole drew parallels between hoodening and the Christmas Bull tradition recorded in Dorset and Gloucestershire. In south-west England, there are two extant hobby horse traditions—the Padstow 'Obby 'Oss festival and Minehead Hobby Horse—which take place not at Christmas time but on May Day.

Steam pressure averaging 5 kg/cm² or 71 psi drove the cylinder upwards through two balanced single-acting slide valves, after which the force of gravity would allow the hammer to fall and deliver a blow. The piston had a maximum travel of 5 meters and the piston rod was 35 centimeters in diameter. Loiri and Ahonen play the roles of gangsters attempting to kidnap Jyrä and/or Mutikainen, thinking they are the same person. Both would reprise their roles for 1980's Tup-akka-lakko.

The SS7 protocol stack may be partially mapped to the OSI Model of a packetized digital protocol stack. OSI layers 1 to 3 are provided by the Message Transfer Part (MTP) and the Signalling Connection Control Part (SCCP) of the SS7 protocol (together referred to as the Network Service Part (NSP)); for circuit related signaling, such as the BT IUP, Telephone User Part (TUP), or the ISDN User Part (ISUP), the User Part provides layer 7. The movie was a surprise hit and led to a sequel Tup Akka Lakko being released the following year. In the 1980s, the Uuno series peaked in popularity with 1984's Uuno Turhapuro armeijan leivissä breaking the record of the most popular Finnish domestic film. Spede cranked out movies on an annual basis, using his stock actors and frequently utilizing the popular skit characters for movies such as Kliffaa Hei, Pikkupojat, Fakta Homma and Onks Viljoo Näkyny. The last of these skit-comedy films is considered to be 1990s Rampe & Naukkis - Kaikkien aikojen superpari, which was lampooned on the popular characters created by Pirkka-Pekka Petelius and Aake Kalliala for the TV show Pulttibois.

These qualities have helped the Texel breed become the most popular terminal sire breed in the UK. In August 2009, a Texel tup lamb named Deveronvale Perfection was sold for a then world record price for a sheep of £231,000. Bred in Banffshire, Scotland, the lamb was sold by Graham Morrison of Cornhill, Aberdeenshire to fellow sheep farmer Jimmy Douglas at a sale in Lanark. The high price has been attributed to the lamb's strong physical attributes, and Deveronvale Perfection will be used for breeding. On 28th August 2020 a new world record of £368,000 was set after a six-month-old Texel ram was sold in Lanark during the Scottish National Texel Sale.

Old Tup was part of a wider "hooded animal" tradition that Cawte identified as existing in different forms in various parts of Britain. Features common to these customs were the use of a hobby horse, the performance at Christmas time, a song or spoken statement requesting payment, and the use of a team who included a man dressed in women's clothing. In South Wales, the Mari Lwyd tradition featured troupes of men with a hobby horse knocking at doors over the Christmas period. In south-west England, there are two extant hobby horse traditions — the Padstow 'Obby 'Oss festival and Minehead Hobby Horse — which take place not at Christmas time but on May Day.

After the opening acts — Slađana Milošević, Tako, Zdravo, Džadžo, Suncokret, Ibn Tup and Leb i Sol — Bijelo Dugme played a very successful concert. Despite the fact that the concert was secured by only twelve police officers, there were no larger incidents. Video recordings from the concert appeared in Mića Milošević's film Tit for Tat. Eventually, it was discovered that the recordings could not be used for the live album, as the sound was bad due to technical limitations and the wide open space, so the band, on 25 October of the same year, played a concert in Đuro Janković Hall in Sarajevo, the recording of which was used for the live album Koncert kod Hajdučke česme (The Concert at Hajdučka česma).

The absence of late medieval references to such practices and the geographic dispersal of the various British hooded animal traditions—among them the Hoodening of Kent, the Broad of the Cotswolds, and the Old Ball, Old Tup, and Old Horse of northern England—have led to suggestions that they derive from the regionalised popularisation of the sixteenth and seventeenth- century fashion for hobby horses among the social elite. Although the tradition declined in the early to mid-twentieth century, in part due to opposition from some local Christian clergy and changing social conditions, it was revived in new forms in the mid-to-latter part of the century. The tradition has also inspired various artistic depictions, appearing, for instance, in the work of the painter Clive Hicks-Jenkins and the poet Vernon Watkins.

The use of a hobby horse as part of the wooing play performance was found in a geographically restricted area around the mouth of the River Trent. The use of the hobby horse in the play is not known in Nottinghamshire, although the area in which the wooing play was performed bordered the region in which two Christmas hobby horse traditions, those of Old Tup and Old Horse, were performed. When used in the wooing play, the hobby horse was always recorded as being called a "hobby horse", rather than by other names as elsewhere in British Isles. Descriptions indicate that it consisted of a large farm sieve which was hung from a man's shoulders, with a wooden horse's head fastened at the front and a tail at the back.

Originally built as a diving support vessel, Belos (III) was launched in 1985 at the Dutch shipyard De Hoop operated in the international offshore business named "Energy Supporter". In 1992, she was purchased for the Royal Swedish Navy, was renamed Belos (III), and has since been redesigned into an advanced diving and submarine rescue ship. A 214, HSwMS Belos (III), with the submarine rescue vessel URF was the first submarine rescue system that could perform Transfer Under Pressure (TUP) from a disabled submarine, via the rescue vessel to a decompression chamber system for treatment to avoid decompression sickness. Normally, the ship does not anchor, but hover at the distressed submarine using her Azimuth- and bow thrusters, and the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system. Onboard Belos, an extensive array of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV’s), oceanographic equipment, craneage, diving-, medical-, and decompression facilities are accessible.

Combined with certain hiatus due to its 25-year-old leader Goran Bregović being called up for his mandatory army service, Bijelo Dugme found itself in a bit of a rut, looking to reverse the negative trend as the tour neared its end. On suggestion from journalist and Bregović's close confidant Peca Popović, they decided to hold a large open-air concert at Belgrade's Hajdučka česma with free admission — hoping to end the tour in spectacular fashion as well as to leave their fans on a positive note before temporarily disbanding due to Bregović's upcoming army duty. The concert, held on Sunday, 28 August 1977, was attended by between 70,000 and 100,000 spectators, the biggest rock concert crowd in Yugoslavia until then. "Dry", or "Closed" diving bells are pressure vessels for human occupation which can be deployed from the surface to transport divers to the underwater workplace at pressures greater than ambient. They are equalized to ambient pressure at the depth where the divers will get out and back in after the dive, and are then re-sealed for transport back to the surface, which also generally takes place with controlled internal pressure greater than ambient. During and/or after the recovery from depth, the divers may be decompressed in the same way as if they were in a decompression chamber, so in effect, the dry bell is a mobile decompression chamber. Another option, used in saturation diving, is to decompress to storage pressure (pressure in the habitat part of the saturation spread) and then transfer the divers to the saturation habitat under pressure (transfer under pressure – TUP), where they will stay until the next shift, or until decompressed at the end of the saturation period.

After soldiers from Fort Fetterman in Wyoming Territory under Brigadier General George Crook fought the Northern Cheyenne at the Battle of Powder River, on March 17, 1876, the Battle of Prairie Dog Creek on June 9, 1876, the Battle of the Rosebud on June 17, 1876, and the Battle of Slim Buttes on September 9–10, 1876, General Crook received reinforcements at his Goose Creek, Wyoming supply base and began to move up the old Bozeman Trail towards Crazy Horse. After learning of a village of Cheyennes in October, 1876, Crook sent Colonel Ranald S. Mackenzie into the Southern Powder River Country to locate it. Colonel Mackenzie departed Camp Robinson, Nebraska with nearly 1,000 soldiers in 11 companies of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th United States Cavalry Regiments. He also had a large contingent of 400 Indian scouts, including Pawnee led by Li-heris-oo-li-shar, Shoshone led by O-ho-a- tay, Arapaho led by "Sharp Nose", Sioux led by "Three Bears", Bannocks led by Tup-si-paw, and Cheyenne.
