The team previously fielded the No. 03, No. 9, No. 30, No. 62 and No. 77 Toyota Tundras in the Camping World Truck Series and the No. 7 and No. 15 Toyota Camry in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

The flora includes about 540 species of plant, with woody plants typically including heather, bilberry, bearberry, crowberry, hairy birch, rowan and willow. Most of the trees are less than in height with a few taller trees in the river valleys of the north and east. Much of the northern part of the country is marshy or tundra, with the vegetation being predominantly mosses, lichens and sedges. Typical is Iceland moss, a lichen which grows abundantly forming mats on the tundras and mountain slopes and which can provide "famine food" in times of necessity.

The Scandinavian region has a rich prehistory, having been populated by several prehistoric cultures and people for about 12,000 years, since the end of the last ice age. During the ice age, all of Scandinavia was covered by glaciers most of the time, except for the southwestern parts of what we now know as Denmark. When the ice began retreating, the barren tundras were soon inhabited by reindeer and elk, and Ahrenburg and Swiderian hunters from the south followed them here to hunt occasionally. The geography then was very different from what we know today.

This day-flying moth is found in tundras in Arctic and Subarctic areas. It also occurs in rocky alpine tundra habitats on top of high mountains, and has been caught flying in muskeg habitat with trees growing in it in Canada. It is able to survive in extreme environments such as at 2200m above sea level in the Suntar-Khayata Range or at 2400m in Buryatia. It has been recorded at altitudes of 1561m in Coös County, New Hampshire, at 800m in the Richardson Mountains, Yukon, Canada, and at 300m in Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Russia.

The dealers refused to let the owners take their vehicles without signing an affidavit that they had been informed that Toyota had declared their vehicles unsafe to drive. Complaints were subsequently brought to WCVB-TV Channel 5 investigative reporter Susan Wornick and the story ran repeatedly in spring and fall 2009 prompting the NHTSA to begin an investigation. NHTSA was particularly concerned that owners reported the potential for the spare tire to drop from the vehicle without warning due to corrosion and they opened an investigation on October 6, 2009. Toyota recalled 2000-2001 Tundras, soon expanding it through 2003.

In June 2019, Lupton returned to the Truck Series for a six race schedule in DGR-Crosley's No. 5 and No. 15 Toyota Tundras starting at Chicago. He also drove for Young's Motorsports again for one race in their No. 20 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Lupton would not make any NASCAR starts in 2020 until September, when he returned to DGR-Crosley, now a Ford team, to drive the No. 17 F-150 at Las Vegas, Texas, as well as make his second ARCA start, driving their No. 17 car in the season-finale at Kansas in October.

These mountains have a smooth outline with rather steep western and gentle eastern slopes. The Siberian fir overwhelmingly predominates in the forest belt except for its upper part where, at the tree line (1300–1900 m), the siberian pine becomes dominant. The highlands are occupied mostly by vast large-stoned screes, and also by patches of subalpine meadows and, on some southern mountain massifs, of bushy, lichen and moss tundras. The basin of the Kondoma River in Gornaya Shoriya is remarkable for the Siberian lime-tree woods which are thought to be the relics of a pre-Pleistocene nemoral vegetation of Siberia.

Major types of vegetation of the North American Arctic include tundras, polar desert and polar semi-deserts with minor ones being coastal salt marshes and grasslands. Flora must try to grow in a harsh environment that experiences continuous sunlight during the summer, and low temperatures, dry winds, heavy snow and frozen ground and soil throughout the year. Freezing and thawing of soil affects vegetation patterns as it results in formations of patterned ground such as circles, nets and stone stripes. Both plant diversity and species are relatively low in numbers due to lack of nutrient availability.

Izhma Komi (Russian: Коми-ижемцы (Komi-Izhemtsy), endonym: Изьватас (Iźvatas)) is an ethnic group of Komi people residing primarily in the north of the Komi Republic. The beginning of the formation of the Izhma Komi ethnic group is traced to the second half of the 16th century when a group of Komi founded the Izhma sloboda by the Izhma River. The formation of the separate ethnicity finalized during the 17th and 18th centuries. During the 19th century they expanded their area of settlement by settling along the middle Pechora River, by the Usa River, in Bolshezemelskaya and Kanin Peninsula tundras.

Angvundaschorr Massif (Russian spelling: массив Ангвундасчорр, "mountain with sandy slopes" as translated from the Saami language) is a mountain massif in Lovozerskiye Tundras mountain range (Kola Peninsula, Russia). Mount Angvundaschorr is the highest point in the area with an altitude of 1120 m. The Angvundaschorr Pass between Angvundaschorr and Kedykvampakhk (Кедыкварпахк) peaks connects the valleys of the brooks Chinglusuai and Sengisyok. The mountain is a tourist attraction because of its legend according to which Angvundaschorr bears an imprint of the killed warlock Kuyva and thus the mountain is considered to be forbidding for the rock-climbers.

In the event of a camshaft failure Toyota will either replace the engine and extend the warranty or repurchase the truck from the owner. Toyota originally intended to begin selling the 5.7-liter equipped Tundra during the northern hemisphere summer of 2007 but decided to rush the engine into production in order to match the November 2006 launch date. This decision was the result of product planners and dealers desire for the larger V8's availability at the initial sale. On December 13, 2007, Toyota Motor Corp recalled 15,600 4x4 2007 model-year Tundras in the United States because a rear propeller shaft joint may fail.

The 580,000 hectare large delta is home to massive amounts of water birds of all kinds, most notably pelicans of two species, herons, storks, cormorants and terns. It is a favourite staging area for passage migrants and also wintering grounds for masses of migrating water birds from the steppes, the boreal forests and the tundras further north. The region has some of Europe's very few remaining grazed mosaique forest landscapes, kept in their natural state by the wild horses and wild cattle still present. Working with partners, the Rewilding Danube Delta team is working to significantly improve the ecological integrity and natural functioning of 40,000 hectares of wetland and terrestrial delta habitat, using rewilding principles on a landscape scale.

Initially, the Cooks Bay Canucks attempted to join the Western Ontario Athletic Association Senior Hockey League, but their application was rejected by the league. They then applied for expansion in Eastern Ontario Senior Hockey League and were accepted. The team started the 2007-08 season as the Cooks Bay Canucks but were renamed the Simcoe County Canucks after they started to play their home games in the Coldwater and District Community Centre. At that time a new owner and management group became involved and at the second game of the playoff series with the Frankford Huskies, they announced a sponsorship deal with Sunrise Toyota, a local Toyota dealership and the renaming of the team as the Simcoe County Tundras.

The team started the season as the Cooks Bay Canucks, but soon dropped it for the Simcoe County Canucks. Although that does not sound too strange, the Canucks made the playoffs and before game two of the league semi-final announced another name change to the Simcoe County Tundras, with new logos, and completely different jerseys and team colours. In May 2008, due to major team losses in the MLH leaving the western league with two teams, the EOSHL and the MLH merged to operate as Major League Hockey.

Similar to montane grasslands, polar Arctic tundra can have grasses, but high soil moisture means that few tundras are grass-dominated today. However, during the Pleistocene glacial periods (commonly referred to as ice ages), a grassland known as steppe-tundra or mammoth steppe occupied large areas of the Northern Hemisphere. These areas were very cold and arid and featured sub-surface permafrost (hence tundra) but were nevertheless productive grassland ecosystems supporting a wide variety of fauna. As the temperature increased and the climate became wetter at the beginning of the Holocene much of the mammoth steppe transitioned to forest, while the drier parts in central Eurasia remained as a grassland, becoming the modern Eurasian steppe.

Dodecatheon frigidum, commonly called the western arctic shootingstar, is a plant species found in arctic and subarctic regions in the northwestern part of North America and in Asiatic Russia. It is common across much of Alaska, and has also been reported from Yukon, Northwest Territories, British Columbia, northern Saskatchewan, and on the Chukotsk Peninsula in the Russian Far East (often erroneously regarded as part of Siberia). During the 1930s, with an orientation toward Russian nationalism ("Russification") and Russian identity that came about more dramatically with Joseph Stalin's rise to power and his oppressive tactics, 20 years of repression, relocations, murders, and the extinguishment of certain languages came about, which had a quite negative influence on the Kola Sami languages and culture. As Stalins' reign went on in Soviet Russia, his paranoia, frustrations, anger, and delusions grew, emotions he would act on as leader. Resistance and refusal to submit to the collectivized farms, villages and working conditions of the reindeer Kildin Sámi community led to arrests by Stalin in the 1930s of those who lived in the Kola tundras. As Russia entered World War II, Kildin Sámi youth were drafted and impressed to serve in the Red Army, which lessened hardships and prejudices they faced for a temporary period.

Each Wild Arms story takes place on a planet called Filgaia, though each "Filgaia" appears to be an entirely separate world with a different arrangement of continents, in similar tradition to the discontinuity between games of the Final Fantasy series. Filgaia is a fantasy world containing a variety of terrain, including deserts, red rock canyons, plains, forests, mountainous regions, grasslands, and Arctic tundras, though their predominance varies from one game to the next. Though human towns and cities are plentiful, the wilderness that encompasses most of the landscape is riddled with monsters and other beasts, as well as ruins or dungeons from earlier eras that house ancient treasures inaccessible to all but skilled adventurers. Filgaia is also home to a number of different races including the Native American-inspired Baskars, nature-dwelling Elws, and vampiric Crimson Nobles.
