Bad Branch Falls State Nature Preserve is a nature preserve in Letcher County, Kentucky. Originally dedicated by the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves on September 26, 1985, the preserve originally covered and included Bad Branch Gorge, a forested gorge with a waterfall tumbling over sandstone cliffs on the south face of Pine Mountain. Chrissie agrees to accompany Brendan in Brendan's van (who later manages to lose Chrissie by tricking him into pushing the van so as to jump-start it after pretending it had broken down), while Yosser decides to hold Dominic hostage until they return. Yosser soon discovers that cash had in fact been handed over, but Dominic manages to escape to Brendan who is waiting for him – Loggo tripping and tumbling over as he gave chase through a farmer's field.

Falls of Dee in An Garbh Choire The River Dee rises from a spring on the Braeriach plateau in the Cairngorm Mountains at a height of at about 1,220 m, the highest source of any major river in the British Isles. Emerging in a number of pools called the Wells of Dee the young Dee then flows across the plateau to the cliff edge from where the Falls of Dee plunge into An Garbh Choire ("burn of the rough corrie").Ordnance Survey Landranger 1:50000, Sheet 43 The river is then joined by a tributary coming from the Pools of Dee in the Lairig Ghru, and flows south down the Lairig Ghru between Ben Macdui and Cairn Toul, tumbling over falls in the Chest of Dee on its way to White Bridge and the confluence with the Geldie Burn, at which point it turns east.
