Tsamma juice ( ) is a brand of watermelon juice, produced by Frey Farms since 2014. The juice is also available ready-mixed with coconut water or blueberry juice. The brand is named after Tsamma, a local name for a type of watermelon found in sub-Saharan Africa, said to be "the Mother of all watermelon varieties"; however, the juice is farmed from watermelons grown in the Midwest and Southern United States. The production farms cover a total of of watermelons, and also house a major national supplier of pumpkins.

Valentine Tsamma Seane (born 2 November 1966) is the former bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gaborone at the Christ the King Cathedral in Gaborone, Botswana. He is the second Motswana to be a bishop in Botswana.

Valentine Tsamma Seane was born in Lobatse, Botswana and was ordained a priest on 19 March 1994. Seane was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Gaborone on 5 February 2009 and ordained 25 April 2009. On 9 August 2017, Pope Francis ordered his dismissal from office.

Citrullus ecirrhosus, commonly known as Namib tsamma, is a species of perennial desert vine in the gourd family, Cucurbitaceae, and a relative of the widely consumed watermelon (Citrullus lanatus). It can be found in both Namibia and South Africa, in particular the Namib Desert. It is the sister species to the bitter melon, Citrullus amarus with which it shares hard, white and bitter flesh. The vines can crawl for up to two meters, and it has yellow flowers.

Tsamma melons in the Kalahari Desert The actual fruit of this plant resembles the more modern, domesticated watermelons, except that it is smaller and more spheroid. The meat of the melon is more whitish and dense, though, and much stronger in flavor, akin more to the area on a domesticated watermelon where the red meat is just turning into the white rind. As noted above, while some people do eat it raw, it's more often cooked or prepared in some other way.
