The grey trembler (Cinclocerthia gutturalis) is a songbird species in the family Mimidae. The brown trembler (Cinclocerthia ruficauda) is a species of bird in the family Mimidae. Northern birds from Guadeloupe northwards may represent a separate species (C. tremula) from those on Dominica and St. Vincent. Walter Rothschild believed the Liverpool specimen to be an albinistic specimen of a Necropsar species supposedly from Mauritius. In 1953, Japanese writer Masauji Hachisuka suggested that N. leguati was distinct enough to warrant its own genus, Orphanopsar. In a 2005 DNA analysis, the specimen was eventually identified as an albinistic specimen of the grey trembler (Cinclocerthia gutturalis) from Martinique. Hachisuka believed the carnivorous habits described by Tafforet to be unlikely for a starling, and thought the lack of a crest suggested that it was not closely related to Fregilupus.

The lesser electric ray (Narcine bancroftii), also known as the Brazilian electric ray, small electric ray, spotted torpedo ray, torpedofish or trembler, is a species of numbfish in the family Narcinidae found on the western coastal fringes of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Overview of the ignition system of the Ford Model T engine.. The Model T engine's ignition system used a flywheel-mounted magneto to produce the current necessary to produce a spark to initiate combustion. This current was distributed by the timer (analogous to a distributor in a modern vehicle) to one of the four trembler coils, one for each cylinder. The coil stepped up the voltage and discharged it to the spark plug in the cylinder. Ignition timing was adjusted manually by using the spark advance lever mounted on the steering column, which rotated the timer, advancing or retarding the ignition timing.

Even this was not standard equipment for all models until sometime in 1926, the last year of production. Most cars sold after 1919 were equipped with this starter, which was engaged by a small round foot-operated button switch on the floor. These cars included a battery and a generator for recharging it, and this system also powered the lights. (Cars sold without the system continued to use magneto-powered lights.) In keeping with the goal of ultimate reliability and simplicity, the trembler coil and magneto ignition system was retained even on cars with the starter system.

Regal performing the Regal Stretch on Chuck Palumbo in 2007 Regal's style is a hybrid mix of brawling and submission grappling, often utilising a combination of stiff forearm and knee strikes, along with multiple suplex variations to ground an opponent, before locking in any number of brutal submissions. While often claiming to be an English gentleman and goodwill ambassador, Regal frequently broke the rules any opportunity he could, be this choking his opponent while the referee was distracted, attacking opponents in the ropes and even using a punch with brass knuckles. Regal's usual methods of finishing matches would come from either his Knee Trembler, a Running knee lift to a bent over opponent's head, or his Regal Stretch, an Arm trap cross-legged STF.

By 1902 the Quadrant Cycle Co was making their own engines, their advertMotor Cycling, 12 November 1902 claiming "The engine and carburettor throughout, as also the bicycle, are made in our own Works". These were ahead of their time as the engines were not just fixed on to a bicycle frame. Instead, the frame was purpose-built to properly hold the engine, and the Quadrant motorcycles also pioneered a suction inlet valve, hand oil pump and direct drive, contact breaker ignition replacing trembler ignition in 1902, as well as a spray carburetor in 1904 and magneto ignition in 1907. A famous long-distance motorcycle rider called Tom Silver was contracted by the company and gained them a lot of publicity through his success on Quadrant motorcycles in long distance events and in 1907 he became the managing director.
