Upon arriving in Kingston on the 25th, Köhler learned of the rising political tensions in Europe during the July Crisis that followed the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. By this time, the ship was in need of a refit in Germany, and met with her replacement, Karlsruhe, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, the following day. Lüdecke, who had arrived in command of Karlsruhe, traded places with Köhler aboard Dresden.

Summer and Smoke is set in Glorious Hill, Mississippi, from the "turn of the century through 1916", and centers on Alma Winemiller, a highly strung, unmarried minister's daughter, and the spiritual/sexual romance that nearly blossoms between her and John Buchanan Jr., a wild, undisciplined young doctor who grew up next door. She, ineffably refined, identifies with the Gothic cathedral, "reaching up to something beyond attainment"; her name, as Williams makes clear during the play, means "soul" in Spanish; whereas Buchanan, doctor and sensualist, defies her with the soulless anatomy chart. By the play's end, however, Buchanan and Alma have traded places philosophically. She has been transformed beyond modesty.

They were followed by 3.Texas 4.Iowa and 5.Alabama. On October 21, #1 Michigan State got by Notre Dame 17-7 at home, and #2 Mississippi shut out Tulane in a game at Jackson, 41-0. #3 Texas won at Arkansas, 33-7, #4 Iowa hosted Wisconsin, winning 47-15, and #5 Alabama defeated Tennessee at Birmingham, 34-3. The top three (Michigan State, Ole Miss and Texas) were unchanged, while Alabama and Iowa traded places at 4th and 5th. October 28 In a week of shutouts, #1 Michigan State beat Indiana 35-0, and #2 Mississippi had an even bigger blowout, 47-0, against Vanderbilt.

In the junior classes, Thomas Lüthi started from pole position in Moto2 with a new class lap record. Lüthi and Zarco traded places on the first lap and then both riders were able to establish a small advantage at the front of the field. Zarco began closing up to Lüthi with seven laps left but Lüthi responded by seeing a pit board message that encouraged him to increase his pace. Zarco however conserved the life of his tyres in the closing stages of the race and passed Lüthi at turn two on the final lap to win for the eighth time in the season.

Also, if the Jackpot Riddle was not found until the last player, an extra $1,000 was added to the Jackpot. Once the Jackpot Riddle was found and attempted, the King/Queen of the Hill and the person with the Jackpot Riddle traded places no matter the outcome of the riddle's answer. Starting in season two, any player who answered all fifteen riddles without a miss won a new car. Also added was a "$10,000 Riddler Contest" in which the player who answered the most riddles correctly in a single week over a period of ten won a bonus of $10,000, with tied players splitting the money.

In a media crossover to animated film, Couric was the voice of news-reporter "Katie Current" in the US version of the film Shark Tale. She has also made cameo appearances in Austin Powers in Goldmember (as a Georgia State Prison guard) and an episode of General Hospital (as a journalist pretending to be a doctor: a storyline she helped create). She guest-starred as herself on the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown in 1992 and in the NBC sitcom Will & Grace in late 2002, and made a cameo appearance on a Pawn Stars episode. On May 12, 2003, she traded places for a day with Tonight Show host Jay Leno.

Sid originally thought he won the match, after Sting hit a bodyslam off the top rope, with Sid falling on him to pick up the victory via pinfall. As fireworks went off and balloons dropped from the ceiling, Sting came out from the back and reveal the man in the ring was really Barry Windham. Windham had traded places with Sting during the main event, after Sid attacked him backstage before the match. The real Sting entered the ring, hit the Stinger Splash and picked up the victory. The show ended following Sting’s interview with Jim Ross regarding the match and The Black Scorpion.

When Macdonald announced his resignation in the Commons, Conservative and Liberal MPs traded places on the benches of the House of Commons, though one Conservative MP, British Columbia's Amor De Cosmos remained in his place, thereby joining the Liberals. On 6 November 1873, Macdonald offered his resignation as party leader to his caucus; it was refused. Mackenzie called an election for January 1874; the Conservatives were reduced to 70 seats out of the 206 in the Commons, giving Mackenzie a massive majority. The Conservatives bested the Liberals only in British Columbia; Mackenzie had called the terms by which the province had joined Confederation "impossible".

In August 1940, Fadden narrowly escaped being killed in the Canberra air disaster, which claimed the lives of three government ministers and the Chief of the General Staff. He was scheduled to be aboard the flight, which was transporting the ministers back to Canberra after a cabinet meeting in Melbourne, but instead took an overnight train. He traded places with Richard Elford (James Fairbairn's private secretary), who had wanted to stay in Melbourne to celebrate a wedding anniversary; both Elford and Fairbairn were among those killed. After the crash, Fadden replaced Fairbairn as Minister for Air and Minister for Civil Aviation; he also continued as assistant minister to the Treasurer.Arklay (2010), p. 103.

For the 1979 model year, the third-generation Marquis was introduced as the full-size Ford and Mercury model lines underwent downsizing. Seventeen inches shorter and over 1,000 pounds lighter than its 1978 predecessor, the 1979 Marquis traded places with the Cougar as the longest Mercury vehicle (prior to its own downsizing for 1980). For the first time since 1955, the full-size Mercury station wagon was produced with a curb weight under 4,000 pounds. Although the redesign of the Marquis resulted in an exterior footprint smaller than that of the intermediate-segment Mercury Cougar sedan, the Marquis gained interior space over its predecessor through a taller roofline (contributing to improved visibility through increased glass area) and redesigned seats.

The breakfast show on 93ZM originally remained local but in 1998 announcers Jaala Dyer and Sandy Antipas were moved to Hamilton to produce a local breakfast for 89.8ZM Waikato with the show networked back to Whangarei. In 2000 ZM switched to a single network feed and the Waikato-based breakfast show was discontinued. From 2000 onwards 93ZM heard the same Auckland based announcers but the local voice breaks were dropped in favour of single nationwide voicebreaks in all markets. At this point the announcers simply called the station ZM. In 2005 93ZM moved from 93.1 to 93.2 MHz and in 2006 93ZM traded places on the Northland radio dial with Radio Hauraki 93ZM shifted to 95.1 MHz and Hauraki took over ZM's vacated 93.2 MHz frequency.

The positions remained constant through the halfway point of the race while Team Lotus experienced their second double-retirement in three races and Nick Heidfeld's Renault exploded after a prolonged pit stop. A mid-race shower on the fortieth lap led to Hamilton spinning, forcing Force India's Paul di Resta off the circuit and allowing Button to close the gap. The two McLaren drivers traded places several times in the greasy conditions, with Hamilton leading long enough to give him the first strategy call within the team. He opted to swap to the intermediate tyres, but the track started to dry out and he was given a drive-through penalty for forcing di Resta off the circuit, taking him out of contention for a podium finish.

He had a stone that knew everything and would answer questions, so Aase warned the princess that if there were anything about her that she didn't want the prince to know, she had best not step on the stone that lay beside the bed. He sent her away, and sent for another princess.

Carlton in 1983 Over a three-year period between –, Carlton was involved in an interesting pitching duel with Nolan Ryan and Gaylord Perry, in which they often traded places at the top of the all–time strikeout list. At the start of the 1983 season, the 55-year-old mark of Walter Johnson was 3,508 strikeouts, but there were three pitchers who were within 100 strikeouts of Johnson: Ryan (3,494), Perry (3,452), and Carlton (3,434). Ryan was the first to surpass Johnson on April 22, 1983 against the Montreal Expos. However a stint on the disabled list shortly after he set the record, combined with a spectacular season by Carlton, allowed Carlton to make up ground and on June 7, 1983, Carlton passed Ryan as the all- time strikeout king with 3,526 to Ryan's 3,524.

Biz Radio 1110 logo used from 2008 to 2009 The station traded places with KCLE 1120 and on May 24, 2008, KJSA moved from 1120 to 1110 AM and increased daytime power to 20,000 watts, and the Houston-based Biz Radio Network moved their D/FW broadcasts from KMNY 1360 AM to KJSA. (Another construction permit was on file in the early 2000s to move their broadcasts to Maple Grove, Minnesota; see KJSA info in "DFW Radio History - AM Stations" site.) Signal testing began in April 2008, with 1360 and 1110 simulcasting BizRadio programming until May 24 and that same day, Biz Radio bought this station from M&M; Broadcasters, although its previous owners still maintained minor ownership of KJSA. BizRadio also leased KTEK (1110 AM) near Houston, which put their programming on the same 1110 frequency in both markets.

Former NBC television announcer Joel Meyers then took over and stayed until the 2005 season when he was replaced by Sunday doubleheader voice Dave Sims, who had been his primary substitute. Sims remained in this role until the end of the 2012 season, when he traded places with Sunday doubleheader voice Kevin Kugler. During Week 8 of the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Tom McCarthy substituted for Kugler as the latter was calling games for Fox. During week 11 of the 2019 season, McCarthy again substituted for Kugler, as he called the Monday Night game (Chiefs-Chargers) from Mexico City for the network. For the 2020 season, after Fox Sports suspended Thom Brennaman for inappropriate comments he made on air in his other job as lead broadcaster for baseball’s Cincinnati Reds, the network selected Kugler, who was employed by Fox already through his work on the Big Ten Network, to replace him on their Sunday NFL broadcasts (Kugler remains with the network for select games and as a substitute play-by-play announcer).

"Like You'll Never See Me Again" debuted at number 37 on the Billboard Hot R&B;/Hip-Hop Songs as the Hot Shot debut of the week, jumping to number 22 in its second week, number 15 in its third week, and to then number nine in its fourth. After climbing to number three in its fifth week, the song reached number two in its sixth week, and then rose to number one in its ninth week, beating off Keys' own song "No One"; this made Keys the second artist since the R&B; chart began using Nielsen SoundScan data in 1992 to succeed herself at number one, as "Like You'll Never See Me Again" jumped from number two to number one and traded places with "No One", which had topped the chart for 10 weeks. Rapper Nelly accomplished this feat in 2002 with "Hot in Herre" and "Dilemma". The song spent seven weeks atop the chart, after which it remained at number two for six weeks thereafter. As of the charting week of September 13, 2008, "Like You'll Never See Me Again" has remained on the chart for 45 consecutive weeks, all of them inside the top 50.
