A Chardonnay from the Pay d'Oc region of the Languedoc Champagne, Chablis, and Burgundy account for more than three-fifths of all Chardonnay plantings in France. The next-largest concentration is found in the Languedoc, where it was first planted around the town of Limoux and up to 30% can be blended with Mauzac in the sparkling Blanquette de Limoux. Every year since 1991, Chardonnay production is celebrated in Limoux during the Toques et Clochers festival. By 2000, more than were planted, with many being used for wines under the Vin de Pays d'Oc.

According to data from the State Agency for Tax Administration, Boimorto, with an average gross income of €14,902, was ranked as the 2 586th municipality with the highest income at the national level, and 244th at the regional level. This places the municipality as 4th with less disposable income in the province of La Coruña, just ahead of Toques, Sobrado and Monfero. Since the Tax Agency publishes statistical information on disposable income, Boimorto has experienced a slight increase in this, going from €13,664 in 2013 to € 14,902 in 2016. This represents an increase of 9.06% in the average gross income.

The decision was made to rename the company "High Impact Wrestling Canada" or "HIW Canada" to give the promotion a more "National" feel. Merchandise was produced including T-shirts, tank tops, toques, and even select women's underwear which featured the HIW Canada logo. While at La Pyramide, Diot served as the Commis de Cuisine. He continued his tour to "Jacqueline Fenix Restaurant" in Neuilly, followed by a year at Les Prés d'Eugenie, where under Chef Michel Guérard, known as "the father of Nouvelle Cuisine," he experienced the complexity of Guérard's cooking philosophy. In 1983, Jean-Michel Diot took a Sous-Chef position at Jacques Chibois‘s "Le Royal Gray" in Cannes, a 2-star rated Michelin restaurant where he stayed four years and became Chef. He also took the position of Executive Chef at Le Chateau d'Esclimont near Paris, the Larochefoucault residence, a 16th-century jewel, 2 toques Gault Millau.

Outhier trained under Fernand Point at La Pyramide, at the same time as Jean Troisgros and Paul Bocuse. He is one of the few chefs in history to simultaneously earn three Michelin stars (from 1969 to 1988) and four "toques" in the Gault Millau guide. Working with then Protégé Jean- Georges Vongerichten, he oversaw a number of restaurant openings throughout the world during the 1980s (including London, Singapore, Bangkok, and Osaka) as a consulting executive chef. In America he oversaw Le Marquis de Lafayette in Boston for its owners, Swissotel, directing (along with chef de cuisine Vongerichten) and Stephane Chousineau, Alain DiTomaso, Laurent Poulain 'Diarmuid O'Callaghan, Ken Oringer the menu, staffing, and sourcing of ingredients.

Limoux winemakers began developing a unique style of still wines made from Chardonnay and fermented in oak barrels that were sold as Vin de pays. The reputation of these Chardonnay wines grew to where they are regarded as some of the best examples of French Chardonnay outside of Burgundy.Wine News French Grant Limoux AOC Status for Chardonnay Wine Spectator, October 15, 1994 Barrel samplings were featured at the yearly Toques et Clochers charity auction that was modeled after the famous Hospices de Beaune. Prices of these Vins de pays soon exceeded what the French authorities thought was appropriate for this low classification and in 1993, the Limoux AOC was revised to include the still wines made from Chardonnay.

The "Marcha Real" (; "Royal March") is the national anthem of Spain. It is one of only four national anthems in the world (along with those of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and San Marino) that have no official lyrics (although it had lyrics in the past, they are no longer used). One of the oldest in the world, the Spanish national anthem was first printed in a document dated 1761 and entitled Libro de la Ordenanza de los Toques de Pífanos y Tambores que se tocan nuevamente en la Ynfantª Española (Book of the Ordenance of Newly Played Military Drum and Fife Calls by The Spanish Infantry), by Manuel de Espinosa. There, it is entitled "" ().

The Canadian Olympic collection is sold through Hudson's Bay (and Zellers until 2013 when the Zellers leases were sold to Target Canada). HBC's 2006 Winter Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics uniforms and toques received a mixed reception for their multicoloured stripes (green, red, yellow, blue) which seemed to be not-so-subtle advertising for HBC rather than representing the Canadian Olympic team's traditional colours of red and white (with black as a secondary), in contrast to well-received Root's 1998 collection with its trendy red letter jackets and Poor Boy caps. Nevertheless, the exact origin of flamenco is unknown and the subject of many hypotheses. Friends of the Stars live at Birmingham Symphony Hall December 2010 Friends of the Stars, originally known as Buick 6, formed in Birmingham in the late 1990s and quickly became a popular live band associated with the burgeoning alternative country movement and known for catchy, classic songwriting and soaring three-part vocal harmonies. The original line-up, consisting of Craig Hamilton, Anna Russell, Jez Ince, James Summerfield and Nick Wilkinson released two singles on Winnebago Records. After replacing Wilkinson with former Novak drummer Phil Robinson, the band recorded a John Peel session before being forced to change their name following legal threats from an Irish band of the same name. The band, now known as "The Toques", went on to record another Peel Session and had several close shaves with major labels through a development deal with Sanctuary Records Group which ultimately didn't work out for either party.

The early commercials showed Frank and Gordon on their journey to becoming Bell mascots; from waiting outside the audition room with other human and animal hopefuls, to the audition itself, and then the meeting with Bell management when they were informed that they had "got the gig" while Gordon eyed up a sandwich on the desk. This third commercial was also the first to be created in two forms, one for English Canada, and a separate version for Francophone Canada. The English version showed them in a dumpy-looking office with a tired-sounding (but unseen) male manager who presented them with maple-leaf tuques (tukes, or woolen hats) to enhance their Canadian patriotism in their upcoming Bell commercials to air during the 2006 Winter Olympics. The French version took place in a plush executive suite, with a sultry-sounding (but unseen) female manager, who did not present them with toques.

The next few commercials followed a similar thread, with Frank and Gordon getting accustomed to their new-found fame, and a house full of Bell TV/cell phone/internet -aided items at their disposal while watching the 2006 Winter Olympics. However, in the English versions, they always had their maple-leaf tuques on, and appeared in somewhat rundown conditions with ratty furniture and empty beer cans littered around, while in the French versions, the toques were not seen, and their living room appeared opulent. In one commercial, Frank pauses the TV picture on the Bell digital video recorder in the middle of figure skating that Gordon is watching, and urges Gordon to groom as Gordon coughs up a hairball. In another, Gordon claims to be sick of seeing himself on TV, so Frank suggests he go out of the house and exercise to lose some of his newly gained weight.
