In 1891 Lady Cathcart commissioned Old Tom Morris to design a golf course at Askernish on South Uist. She included a clause in the crofters tenancy agreements retaining the right to allow golf to be played on the land. It took ten more years and further innovations to create a machine that could be drawn by animals, and sixty years before a steam-powered lawn mower was built. In the 1850s, Thomas Green & Son of Leeds introduced a mower called the Silens Messor (meaning silent cutter), which used a chain drive to transmit power from the rear roller to the cutting cylinder.

John Ernest Ellis (10 November 1864 – 1 December 1927) was an English first- class cricketer, who played eleven matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1888 and 1892. Born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, Ellis was a wicket-keeper, who took ten catches and completed eleven stumpings but was less successful with the bat, scoring 14 runs in fifteen innings for an average of 1.55. His best score was 4 not out. He also played for Yorkshire Second XI in 1892.

John William Washington Nason (4 August 1889 – 26 December 1916) was an English cricketer active from 1906 to 1914 who played for Sussex and Gloucestershire. He was born in Tewkesbury and was killed at Vlamertinge, near Ypres, Belgium during the First World War. He appeared in 57 first-class matches as a righthanded batsman who bowled right arm slow. He scored 1,649 runs with a highest score of 139 and took ten wickets with a best performance of two for 24.

On his debut, he took six wickets in the second innings against New Zealand in Durban in 1961. He was South Africa's leading bowler in the 1960s, playing every Test between 1962 and 1970. Perhaps the highlight of his career came alongside that of his brother when they were both playing in a Test match at Trent Bridge in 1965. Peter took ten wickets in the match with innings figures of 5 for 53 and 5 for 34, while his brother Graeme, batting, made 125 and 59.

Very few Worldmasters were sold in the United Kingdom. Glasgow Corporation took 30 RT3/1 from 1956 with Weymann body frames finished by the corporation's skilled tram-builders over the next two years. Halifax Corporation took ten with complete Weymann bodies in the same year. Other than these two batches, the only home-market orders for Worldmasters were for the RT3/2 coach version, which attracted a small band of devoted followers comprising Gliderways of Smethwick, Smith’s Tours of Wigan and Ellen Smith Coaches of Rochdale.

The museum is located on grounds that were originally developed by Eli Whitney to produce muskets on a site he purchased on September 17, 1798. The factory was powered by water from the Mill River and produced muskets for the United States government. On June 14, 1798, he contracted to produce 10,000 muskets to be delivered within 28 months at the cost of $134,000.00; in fact, it took ten years. When he signed the contract, Whitney had no factory, no workers and no experience in gun manufacturing.

Canadair was not able to get contracts from any major airline for the CL-66. It was too expensive and other similar types had better performance. The two aircraft, both of them CL-66Cs, that had been used for extensive sales demonstrations, were sold to the local carrier Quebecair. The RCAF took ten aircraft, mainly Bs. Christopher George Arthur Collier (23 August 1886 – 25 August 1916) was an English cricketer: a right-handed batsman and right arm slow bowler who played 53 first-class matches in the years before the First World War. 52 of these were for Worcestershire, with the one exception being the match he played for H. K. Foster's XI in 1912. In all he scored 1,021 runs at 12.92 and took ten wickets at 36.90. Collier's first-class debut came against Warwickshire at Worcester in mid-May 1910.

The idea for the film was born from real stories of drag artists with whom the director Felix Mikhailov met in a nightclub. It took ten years for the project to be realized because LGBT related films are rarely produced in Russia. When working on his role, Danila Kozlovsky observed a strict diet and carefully studied documentary recordings of drag shows and rehearsals with the director of the picture. When the entire film was almost finished but it seemed that there was still something missing, Alyona Babenko was hired for the role of a journalist who interviews the performers.

George Savile (26 April 1847 - 4 September 1904) was an English amateur first- class cricketer, who played sixteen first-class matches; ten for Cambridge University from 1867 to 1868, five for Yorkshire from 1867 to 1874, and one for Canterbury in New Zealand in 1871/72. Born in Methley, Leeds, Yorkshire, Savile was educated at Rossall School (1863–1866) and Magdalene College, Cambridge. He was a right-handed batsman who scored 529 runs at 23.00, with his only century, 105 coming against the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). He scored three fifties, took ten catches and completed one stumping.

Welles had originally wanted the entire film to use high-contrast cinematography, resembling engravings of the Middle Ages; only the opening title sequence uses this technique. The film's most famous sequence is the Battle of Shrewsbury; only about 180 extras were available and Welles used editing techniques to give the appearance of armies of thousands. Welles filmed all of the battle scenes in long takes, but cut the shots into fragments to create the effect that he wanted. The Mystery of Matter: Search for the Elements is a 2014 American documentary film, which premiered nationwide on August 19, 2015. The PBS film, in three- episodes of one hour each, was directed by Stephen Lyons and Muffie Meyer. During his 1978 World Tour, the line starting "She opened up a book of poems" became "She opened up the Bible and started quotin' it to me", becoming one of the first public indicators of Dylan's conversion to Christianity. Towards the end of his life he fell ill, signing his will on 13 February 1631, to which he signed a codicil on 18 May, and taking the waters at Bath in April of that year. He died at Moreton- in-Marsh while returning from Bath on 25 May 1631 and his body took ten days to return to Chigwell. He was buried at St Mary's Church, Chigwell alongside his wife and daughter, both named Thomasine who had both died in 1601. A brass of Harsnett can be found in St Mary's Church, Chigwell, although it has been moved from its original position over his grave.

The Reform Movement’s Israel Religious Action Center sued the state on behalf of the Reform and Conservative/Masorti movements to allow members to use publicly funded mikvoth. The case, which took ten years to resolve, resulted in the Israeli Supreme Court ruling that public ritual baths must accept all prospective converts to Judaism, including converts to Reform and Conservative Judaism. In his 2016 ruling, Supreme Court Justice Elyakim Rubinstein said barring certain converts amounts to discrimination. Until this ruling, Orthodox officials barred non-Orthodox converts from using any mikveh, claiming their traditions do not conform to Jewish law, and the people they convert are therefore not Jews.

In 1883 Dible made his first-class debut Hampshire against Sussex. On debut Dible claimed his maiden five wicket haul with figures of 5/69. Later in the 1883 season in Hampshire's second match against Sussex, Dible took ten wickets in the match with 4/16 in Sussex's first innings and 6/50 in their second. In 1884 Dible represented Hampshire in eight first-class matches, where he took 34 wickets at a bowling average of 22.61, including figures of 5/65 against Surrey.

Gifford took four wickets in Kent's first innings, but Worcestershire collapsed to their second-lowest ever score of 25 all out on their way to an innings defeat. Each one of the main cast members were considered by Szifron to be main-role actors that are rarely seen in the same film. He was an all-rounder, a right-handed batsman and right-arm bowler, able to bowl fast-medium outswing with the new ball and then brisk offspin. Narinesingh was unaware of this until her body reacted negatively to the substances injected into her about eight months into getting them. Too embarrassed to seek help until a friend urged her to see Dr. John J. Martin, the substances hardened under Narinesingh's skin causing nodules to form where the chemicals were injected. Martin began conducting laser therapy with softening injections to raise the substances to the surface and have them removed; this took ten years and by 2015 Narinesingh had most of the cement removed, all of which was documented on the E reality show, Botched. In April 1814 Aetna sailed to America to join the squadron of Vice-Admiral Sir Alexander Cochrane. On 17 August the frigate , bombs Devastation, Aetna, and Meteor, the rocket ship , and the dispatch boat Anna-Maria were detached under Captain Gordon of to sail up the Potomac River and bombard Fort Washington, about ten or twelve miles below the capital. Contrary winds meant they had to sweep for more than 50 miles over a period of five successive days, and lacking a pilot through Kettle-Bottoms, meant that it took ten days to reach the Fort. On the evening of the 27th they began a bombardment of the fort which continued until the powder magazine exploded.

In May 2004, Hunt made a curious attempt to make a statement about airline security, which has been markedly increased in Australia after terrorist threats. Hunt was agitated at having to remove his pants and footwear after setting off a metal detector. He then took ten metal forks from the Qantas Club and took them on board a Qantas flight from Adelaide headed for Melbourne in an attempt to prove that airport security was totally flawed. A concerned passenger who did not recognise Hunt alerted the flight crew and he was detained on arrival in Melbourne, where he was questioned for approximately 30 minutes and let go without any charges filed against him.

Musquin started the season with consecutive doubles at Sevlievo and Mantova before adding further doubles at Águeda, Glen Helen and Saint-Jean-d'Angély en route to a grand total of 14 victories, 23 podiums and a championship-winning margin of 61 points over runner-up Ken Roczen of the Teka Suzuki team. A fifth book was planned as early as 1960, to include selected writings from the PRC period, but Chairman Mao resisted its production as he felt his essays and speeches on Socialist Construction (1949-1957) were still evolving compared to the views contained in the earlier volumes. The fifth volume of the Selected Works included 70 articles by Mao Zedong after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It was formally published and distributed by People's Publishing House on April 15, 1977, with a price of 1.25 yuan. The compilation and editing of this volume took ten years due to the Cultural Revolution and Mao Zedong's opposition to the publication of a fifth volume of his works.

Upon her departure from the LAPL, Hasse went to work in the newly formed Government Printing Office library program under Francis Crandall. Macnamara was arrested on a charge of manslaughter and put on trial at the Old Bailey on 22 April. Macnamara defended himself from the charge on the grounds that he had received an affront and that it was necessary for him to challenge it in order to maintain his position as a naval officer. The earliest predecessor of the IUAES was the International Congress of Anthropology and Prehistoric Archaeology, which was founded in La Spezia, Italy, in 1865. In 1932, in Basle, Switzerland, it was decided to split the congress into two sections, one for the Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences and one for the Prehistoric and Protohistoric Sciences. Eventually, on 12 August 1898, Parliamentary authority was obtained for the Knott End Railway' (KER) to extend the line from Pilling to Knott End. The KER had just as much difficulty in raising capital as its predecessor, and it took ten years to build miles of line. For some reason in 1950–51 it was scheduled between the First and Second Tests and after the team for the latter had already been announced. Production for the film took ten years with writer-directors Cristina Gallego and Ciro Guerra becoming interested in the Wayuu people while filming The Wind Journeys which Guerra wrote and directed and Gallego produced. The filmmakers based the film on real stories they heard during this research phase and incorporated members of the community into their production. According to the directors about 30% of the cast and crew was made up of local Wayuu people. The film marks the directorial debut of Gallego who had previously worked as a producer and decided to co-direct the film in order to add a female perspective as women were valued in Wayuu culture and were also a part of the drug trade in the 1970s.

Starting in July 1941, Enginoev was on the front lines of World War II. In 1942 he was seriously wounded, but he eventually returned to combat. On 9 April 1944 he took out three enemy soldiers and obtained valuable documents while on a reconnaissance mission, and later that month he was awarded the Order of Glory 3rd class for bravery in obtaining the documents and delivering them to division command. In September he captured multiple retreating enemy soldiers and officers, resulting in getting an Order of Glory 2nd class on 16 October 1944. He became a full bearer of the order on 10 April 1945 for actions on 24-29 January 1945 in Poland, where he and his platoon killed many axis soldiers and took ten captive.

Christopher Mark Brown (born 27 March 1973), more commonly known as Chris Brown, is a former Cook Islands cricketer, who previously played representative cricket for Auckland at New Zealand domestic level. Born in Rarotonga, Brown's early cricket was played for Auckland under-age teams, and he went on to represent the New Zealand national under-19s in several matches as a right-arm fast bowler. Making his first-class debut during the 1993–94 season of the Shell Trophy, he took ten wickets in his debut match, and represented the New Zealand Cricket Academy twice later in the season. Brown regularly played for Auckland in both the first-class and limited-overs competitions during the mid-1990s, despite the squad also including several international bowlers.

Writing in 1899, Grace recollected that he "could go on to the pitch at Lord's and pick up a handful of small pieces of gravel"; a source of danger as a fast ball hitting one of those small stones would "fly high in the air". In August 1863, when he was just 15, Grace was one of four family members who played for Bristol and Didcot XVIII against the All-England Eleven. He bowled well and scored 32 off the bowling of John Jackson, George Tarrant and Cris Tinley. His brother E. M. Grace took ten wickets in the match, which Bristol and Didcot won by an innings, and as a result E.M. was invited to tour Australia a few months later with George Parr's England team.

Barnes' association with Lancashire began in 1899 when he played for the club's Second XI against Staffordshire in a match at the County Ground, Stoke- on-Trent on 10 and 11 July. He took ten wickets in the match including a match-winning analysis of eight for 38 in the second innings. In August, he made his first-team debut for Lancashire and played in two County Championship matches against Sussex and Surrey but he had only moderate success with a best return of three for 99 against Surrey. He rejected an offer to join the Lancashire ground staff, preferring to remain in better-paid league cricket, which he could combine with full-time employment as a clerk in a Staffordshire colliery.

Russian gifts were not accepted, but the Japanese side did take money for the materials that were used for repairing the Russian ship – boards, bars and 500 copper sheets – as well as provision for the crew and the retinue. Following the order of Shōgun, 5569 kg of rice, 23,7 ton of salt, and 25 boxes of silk wool were given to the crew as a gift. The Japanese side also provided Nadezhda with provision for the trip back to Kamchatka: 2457 kg of dried bread, three boxes of powder, 15 boxes of sake, salted fish, 28 пудов salted pork and live cattle. It took ten days with 16-hour working hours to load all provision on board, as well as returned weapons.

On July 24 of that year, and with a record of 23 wins, no losses, with 22 wins by knockout, Pérez met Yoshio Shirai, who, coincidentally, had been Japan's first world champion in history, in a non-title fight held at Buenos Aires. The Argentine ambassador in Japan, Carlos Quiroz, at the direction of then-President Juan D. Peron, took steps to set up a match in Buenos Aires against Shirai, without the title at stake. The fight took ten rounds at Luna Park on July 24 of 1954, with the presence of President Perón, sitting ringside . The match ended tied and was an extraordinary event in the country, for the first time an Argentine professional boxer was not defeated by a world champion.

During the 1997 Ashes series, McGrath "humiliated" England, taking eight wickets in a single innings at Lord's and restricting England to 77, the lowest total in any Test match at the ground since 1888. A month later, he dismissed seven English batsmen in the first innings at The Oval but despite these performances, Australia did not win either Test match. The 2001 Ashes series saw McGrath make four five-wicket hauls in consecutive matches. He twice took five-wicket hauls in both innings of a Test match – in March 1999 he dismissed five West Indian batsmen in each innings of the first Test of the Frank Worrell Trophy; in the following year, he took ten wickets against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

It saw the project as "Operation Alaskan Road", a real- world exercise for its engineers and mechanics that simulated the rough conditions of the Korean Peninsula. The state of Alaska was also interested in the project and commissioned a cost/benefit study of the road in 1995. This work resulted in a memorandum of agreement between multiple federal and state authorities and the Metlakatla Indian Community which was signed on May 29, 1997. Construction began during the summer of 1997 on the 14.5 mile Walden Point Road from Metlakatla in the south of Annette Island to Annette Bay in the north. The road took ten years to build and was dedicated in 2007. Over 12,000 military personnel worked on the road during its construction.

The West Indies toured Australia in 1992–93, recovering from losing the second Test to win the final two matches and take the series 2–1. The team also won the annual World Series Cup. In the first three Tests, Ambrose was hampered by pitches which did not suit his bowling and, according to Tony Cozier writing in Wisden, was often unlucky when he bowled,Cozier (1994), pp. 1,044–47. although he took five for 66 in the first Test. In the final two Tests, he took 19 wickets. In the fourth he took ten wickets, including six for 74 in the first innings; in the second innings, he took three wickets in 19 deliveries and the West Indies won the match by one run.

Hannigan joined Coventry City, who was playing in their first season in the top division, in November 1967 for a fee of £55,000. It had been a difficult start for Coventry as Noel Cantwell had replaced Jimmy Hill as manager in October 1967 and then took ten games before the new manager had got a win with the Sky Blues bottom of the table. In February 1968 Coventry won three games in a row to take them out of the relegation zone and Hannigan was joined by his old Queens partner Neil Martin who had signed from Sunderland for £90,000. Hannigan contributed five league goals during the 1967/68 season for Coventry as they eventually just avoided relegation, finishing third from bottom, one point above Sheffield United.

With Bowes and Verity dominating the following year, Smailes had fewer opportunities but his accuracy improved greatly. In the last match against Sussex he took ten wickets in a match for the first time, but just missed his 100 victims. At the end of the 1934 season, Smailes was awarded his county cap. 1936, however, saw Smailes capture significant attention for the first time, with an impressive all-round performance against India of 77 (including three sixes) and ten wickets for 62 runs. The lobby entrance scene was filmed in the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, but for the shooting sequences a wide, life-size replica, including an audio visual exhibition with works of Julian Rosefeldt, was built in Germany. This set was too large for the studio, so it was instead built in a disused locomotive warehouse outside Berlin; its construction took ten weeks. Having filmed in the real museum interior and on the sound stage in Germany, the film crew had to track the lights and camera angles carefully throughout to ensure continuity. The scene includes a sequence in which the protagonist sends a huge art-chandelier hanging from the ceiling crashing to the ground; the entire stunt was created using computer generated imagery.

When this group first started it was composed of 51 members in 1940 and has grown to over 1,200 members. Linda Dugeau and Dot Robinson co-founded Motor Maids with 51 members and a dream. She took interest in the idea of creating a women’s group in the 1930s and took the liberty to reach out to motorcycle dealerships, AMA clubs and fellow riders in search to find women riders who would take part in helping her form a motorcycle organization of females. Although the idea of forming a group took ten years before becoming reality it took Dugeau and her old friend Dot Robinson three of the ten years to find willing female participates to be considered as Motor Maid members.

The 2008–09 season began only a little better for Hauritz, playing the first couple of matches of the Sheffield Shield competition and a tour game against New Zealand, however, he found himself not selected for New South Wales' next Shield game and it seemed once again that he might spend the rest of the season on the sidelines. A surprise return to the Australian Test team for the 2nd Test against New Zealand, however, seemed to offer him a lifeline and after a creditable performance against New Zealand in the Test at Adelaide, Hauritz found himself back in the New South Wales side, playing two more Sheffield Shield games in which he took ten wickets—including a career best 4/86—before being called for international duty in South Africa.

In addition to popular contributions, the then-parish church in Jesenice made a gift. The ironworking facilities in Javornik were unable to help due to their own difficulties. The old church was demolished in 1754; the year is marked on the keystone of the main portico. Construction took seven years, and was sufficiently far along that consecration was planned for the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul of 1761 when - two days beforehand, on 27 June 1761 - the entire village of 60 houses burned down, including the church. Reconstruction took ten years; the new church was finally consecrated on 3 September 1771 by Ljubljana bishop Count Carl Herberstein. In 1788, the church was granted greater privileges. Due to another disaster, a massive landslide in 1789, furnishing the new church had to be deferred.

Warne said he enjoyed his duel with Muralitharan, who was sidelined following shoulder surgery at the time. After an outstanding year Muralitharan was adjudged as the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World in 2006. In six Tests, he took 60 wickets. He took ten in each of four successive matches, the second time he performed such a feat. The opponents for his 60-wicket haul were England away, South Africa at home and New Zealand away: serious opposition. In all, Muralitharan took 90 wickets in 11 Tests in the calendar year. For his performances in 2006, he was named in the World Test XI by ICCICC Test Team of the Year and Cricinfo. In 1870 he took 3 five- wicket innings and took ten wickets in one match. Also in 1870 he took up a post with Bolton Cricket Club. His form for Nottinghamshire dropped in the 1871 season and in 1872, with residency established, he started playing for Lancashire. In the first six seasons he took 40 five wicket innings and had 12 ten-wicket matches. He was a nemesis to newly formed Derbyshire, who gave him 14 five wicket innings, and he achieved his best performance of 8 for 31 against Derbyshire in 1877. He left the Bolton Club at the end of the 1877 season and a benefit match was held for him on 14 September between A.N.Hornby's XI and Sixteen of Bolton. His next position was with Castleton Club at Rochdale.

On 15 October the Governor of Queensland, Sir Colin Hannah, gave a speech denigrating the Whitlam Government, in violation of the convention that state governors remain neutral. Hannah held a dormant commission as Administrator of the Commonwealth to act as Governor-General in the event of Kerr's death, resignation, or absence from Australia. Whitlam immediately contacted Buckingham Palace to arrange for Hannah's dormant commission to be revoked, a process which took ten days to complete. Although Whitlam later alleged that he never contemplated dismissing Kerr during the crisis, on 16 October, while speaking with Kerr and visiting Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak, he told Kerr that if the crisis continued, "It could be a question of whether I get to the Queen first for your recall, or whether you get in first with my dismissal".

The Improved Processing Speed option could be installed that allowed the three instruction phases (IRW) to immediately follow each other instead of waiting for the next revolution to start; with this option and well optimized code and operand placement a typical instruction could execute in as little as one revolution of the drum (10 ms). Certain instructions though took far longer than the typical 30 ms to 50 ms. For example, multiply took six to nineteen revolutions of the drum (60 ms to 190 ms) and divide (an option) took ten to thirty seven revolutions of the drum (100 ms to 370 ms).

View from the 25 de Abril Bridge The construction of the Christ the King monument was approved in a Portuguese Episcopate conference, held in Fátima on 20 April 1940, as a plea to God to release Portugal from entering World War II. However, the idea had originated earlier on a visit of the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro in 1934, soon after the inauguration of the statue of Christ the Redeemer in 1931. View of Cristo-Rei with the Tagus River in the foreground and Almada in the background In 1941 the land which was used to construct the monument was acquired. In 1949 the cornerstone was finally placed on the site, and managed by the Portuguese Episcopate. Construction began in 1949 and took ten years to complete, funded and supported by Apostleship of Prayer members.

The following year, he took twelve wickets in a match against I Zingari, the first time he took more than ten wickets in a match, and his figures of 6/33 in the first innings were his best for Ireland. His cricketing career began to wind down at this point, with a match against South Africa a few days after the I Zingari match, one match against the MCC in 1895, and matches against the MCC and I Zingari in 1896. He again took ten wickets in a match against the MCC in the 1896 match. He did come back to the Irish team on two occasions however, playing against South Africa in June 1901 after an almost five-year absence from the team, and again against South Africa in August 1907 after a more than six-year gap.

1926 was Nichols' breakthrough year, for he took 114 wickets in first- class cricket and, though he at this point often tried to bowl too fast and was sometimes wayward, his strong build meant he could bowl for long spells without tiring. Against Kent on a somewhat difficult wicket, he took ten wickets, whilst in the return with that county, he scored 57 batting at number eleven. In 1927 Nichols took 124 wickets for 23 runs each, with several strong performances: including nine for 59 against Hampshire at Chelmsford; eight for 46 against Derbyshire at Southend; and nine for 32 (4 for 12 and 5 for 20) against Somerset at Colchester. He scored 940 runs that year, but though 1928 saw a maiden century against Hampshire, he took fewer than 70 wickets for over 35 runs apiece. 1929, however, saw Nichols establish himself as a strong all- rounder.

He was later succeed by Michał Szuber and Bronisław Kaszowski. Bronisław Kaszowski left for America in 1927, however when he returned, he finished in 1934 the Musical School in Częstochowa and in 1935 resumed his position as the bandmaster. From that time up until the start of World War II, the band had a total of 29 musicians. It took ten years for the band to become reactivated and in 1949, Bronisław Kaszowski organized a new band consisting of 40 musicians. This particular band had multiple successes which included 1st place in the Festival of Concert Bands in Krosno in 1951, 1st place in the County in 1954, and in 1955 taking part in the Voivodeship Festival of Concert Bands in Rzeszów. In 1962, due to arguments between the band, local government, and church, the band ceased to exist for the next seven years.

The march took ten days, and the battery remained at Whiteside until 28 April, when it joined General Daniel Butterfield's Third Division of XX Corps at Lookout Valley for the advance towards Atlanta. The advance steadily proceeded until the 19 May Battle of Cassville, in which Battery I was engaged without loss. At Cassville, the Parrotts of the battery were emplaced in the sector of the Third Division on two knolls, potentially enfilading the Confederate line on the ridge east of Cassville. Late that day, the battery contributed to the Union bombardment against the ridge, which forced a Confederate retreat without a fight. The battery later fought in the Battle of New Hope Church on 27–28 May, the Battle of Lost Mountain on 17 June, the Battle of Culp's House on 1 July, the Battle of Marietta on 3 July, and the Battle of Peachtree Creek on 20 July.

Having only taken one wicket to this point, she began bowling regularly and took 13 at 25.38 over the next two seasons and scored 326 runs at 27.16. During the 2004–05 WNCL season, Nitschke scored 144 runs at 36.00 and took ten wickets at 17.50 and was rewarded with selection in the Australian team for a One Day International (ODI) series in India. She did not have a successful initiation to international cricket and was in and out of the team, ending her debut series with 10 runs and a total of 1/99. Playing as a specialist bowler and batting in the lower-order, Nitschke was retained for the 2005 World Cup in South Africa. After being overlooked for the first two matches, she played in the remaining matches and took 11 wickets at 8.27 to establish herself as an international bowler.

Sato remained in his car with soft-tissue damage to his right thigh but did not lose consciousness; a section of the Sauber's rear crash structure penetrated the side of the Jordan's monocoque just below Sato's right knee and his helmet was squeezed between the car's head restraint, both of which prevented him from leaving his car. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA, Formula One's governing body) safety and medical delegate Sid Watkins and his team took ten minutes to remove Sato from the car and treated him at the crash site before transporting him by ambulance to the track's medical centre. From there, Sato and Heidfeld were flown by helicopter to Graz University Hospital, for overnight observation and precautionary x-ray scans. Under safety car conditions, every team except for Ferrari and Williams brought their drivers to the pit lane for additional fuel and a set of tyres.

Built in 1663 as one of the first major structures the Swedish Navy constructed on the island, the length of the building still reflects its original use as a rope walk (repslagarbana), a building where strands were stretched out to be twined into ropes (the length of the building thus being of strategic importance). It took ten years to build but only four years before it was devastated in a fire, and, because the Navy was relocated to Karlskrona in 1680, it was never used for the original purpose again. During the fatale year 1697 the building was used to accommodate beggars and homeless, only to be ravaged by the fire at the Palace Tre Kronor within a few days. King Charles XII two years later ordered his architect Nicodemus Tessin the Younger to redesign the wrecked building into stables for his bodyguards, troops mostly used on the battlefields.

Twenty-Five Years, St Peter's College Magazine, 1964, page 11 Bradley, who had been a pupil of the Christian Brothers in Ireland, was responsible for the laying out of the grounds of the school, which took ten months to complete. However, work continued until 1941 on the development of Reeves Road (a street that has now disappeared as it has been incorporated as the entrance to St. Peter's College),supposedly named after William Pember Reeves (1857 - 1932), journalist, poet, cabinet minister and New Zealand High Commissioner in London: Graeme W. A. Bush, p. 424; Laurenson, p. 326 the building of stone walls, and the very significant soil transfer from the netball courts to level the playing fields was accomplished largely by workers on the Government Relief scheme following the Great Depression. These workers worked on the project for three years and finished it on 1 November 1941.

John Thomas Rawlin (10 November 1856 – 19 January 1924) was an English first- class cricketer, who played twenty seven matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1880 and 1885, and 229 matches for Middlesex between 1889 and 1909. He toured Australia with Vernon's team in 1887/89. He also played first- class games for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) from 1887 to 1909. Rawlin was born in Greasbrough, near Rotherham, Yorkshire, England. A right arm fast medium bowler and right-handed batsman, Rawlin played in 315 first-class matches. He took 811 wickets at an average of 20.57, with a best of 8 for 29 against Gloucestershire. He also took 8 for 50 against his old county Yorkshire. He took ten wickets in a match on twelve occasions, and five wickets in an innings 46 times. He scored 7,651 runs at 17.04, with a best score of 122 not out against W. G. Grace's London County Cricket Club.

Crossing the Stormy Strait (1996) and Reaching Shore (1995) portray dramatic scenes from the history of the Chinese settlement of Taiwan. In Crossing, it is the struggle of immigrants from Fujian to defy an imperial decree by the Qing government and brave the fierce waters of the Taiwan strait; Reaching Shore is then the weary relief and hopeful excitement of first stepping foot on the island, something Yim himself related to as a native mainlander who moved to Taiwan in his forties. The paintings show the heroism of these otherwise ordinary individuals who would become the founding fathers and mothers of Taiwan. The Death of Concubine Yang (1999), which took ten years to complete, gives a sense of the complex political intrigue and civil turmoil that culminated in the murder of the Tang Emperor's consort Yang Guifei as part of quelling the An Lushan Rebellion, along with the melancholy moment after the deed itself.

See Isaac Denies in the RKD Jan van Pee decided to go, but needed money for the trip. Since he was only allowed the key to the money safe if he went shopping, he told his wife to put the water to boil for a fish and that he was going to the fish market to buy one. He took ten ducats and a few clean shirts and he and De Nys promptly took the trekschuit to Haarlem, where he wrote a letter to his wife that on his way to market he was offered work in Haarlem, but on arrival in Haarlem, his patron requested that he make the commission in the style of P.P. Rubens and requested him to go to Antwerp. Then he and De Nys travelled via Leiden and Rotterdam to Antwerp, where they went to all of the churches and monasteries to admire the work of Rubens, Jordaens, and Van Dijk.

Hinged side screens or 'palisades' were fitted around the aft end of the flight deck to provide weather protection for parked aircraft but with only limited effect. The net result of the modifications was a reduction in cargo capacity of about 10 per cent in the case of the tankers, but almost 30 per cent for the grain ships, the higher figure on account of the space taken up by the hangar. The modifications themselves were conceptually simple and with standardised designs and extensive use (about 51 per cent by weight of steel) of prefabricated components, the average conversion time was just over five months, but there were significant differences between the average time required to convert new-builds (about 14 weeks) and existing ships (about 27 weeks). There were wide variations within groups; the first 'Triple Twelve', Rapana, was converted in five months while the final one, Macoma, took ten months.

In Grand Prix racing, Belfast native Ralph Bryans was 50cc World Champion in 1965, becoming the only Irish rider to win a Grand Prix world title: he also took ten Grand Prix wins across his career. On four wheels, Northern Ireland's most notable Formula One drivers are John Watson, who took five Grand Prix wins in the 1970s and 1980s and finished third in the 1982 Formula One season, and Eddie Irvine, who took four wins for Ferrari on the way to second place in the 1999 Formula One season. In touring car racing, Colin Turkington is a three time British Touring Car Champion, having won titles in 2009, 2014 and 2018, and has also been a race winner in the World Touring Car Championship. In rallying, the province's most notable names are Paddy Hopkirk, who won some of the most prestigious events in international rallying in the 1960s in his Mini Cooper S, including the Monte Carlo Rally, the Alpine Rally and the Acropolis Rally, and Kris Meeke, who has taken multiple rally wins in the World Rally Championship.

At the halfway point of the season, Mercedes had secured all but one win – the , won by Red Bull's Max Verstappen as the Mercedes drivers collided together, immediately sending both men into retirement – and one pole – the , where Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo took pole position due to technical gremlins affecting both drivers during Q3. The car took ten consecutive wins – from the 2016 Monaco Grand Prix to the 2016 Singapore Grand Prix, just one win shy of the record held by McLaren during the 1988 Formula One season. For Mercedes, the win at the marked the 17th triumph in 19 races. With that tally, the F1 W07 Hybrid broke the previous record from its predecessors of 16 wins in a single season, set in both 2014 and 2015.

It also shows off his riches, with bridges "aux boules d'or" (with gold spheres), grottoes adorned with thousands of pieces of gold leaf or precious and semi-precious stones, and above all a pebble-paved road which gives the park such a great cachet. The construction took ten years and nearly 700 workers, of which a large majority were specialist craftsmen. Robert transformed into a landscape of open meadow and belts of trees contained within a wide bowl, which became dotted with eye-catching features with a few years.

In February 1955 the one-way fare from LaGuardia to Idlewild was $4.50 (~$43 2019 dollars). The aircraft was a Sikorsky H-19, registration number N418A. The trip took ten minutes and their phone number was DEfender 5-6600. The first scheduled passenger flights to Manhattan arrived in December 1956 at the new heliport west of the West Side Highway at 30th St. The downtown heliport on East River Pier 6 opened in 1960 and New York Airways moved all its Manhattan passenger flights down there around December 1960. Due to route restrictions on the single-engine Vertol 44, nonstop flights from Manhattan to Idlewild had to await the twin-engine Boeing Vertol 107. Moody's says in 1962 the "operating revenue" of $3.9 million included $2.2 million federal subsidy. In June 1964 they had 32 daily flights from JFK to Newark Airport and 33 returning; all flights each way between about 0900 and 1930 stopped at Wall Street. The only other flights were 15 round trips a day between JFK and the Port Authority building at the World's Fair, as La Guardia was still under construction.

On three occasions (1884, 1886, 1887) Humphreys passed the 500 run mark and on four occasions passed the 50 wicket mark, including in 1893 when he took 150 wickets at a bowling average of 17.32. Humphreys final season with Sussex was the 1896 County Championship, with his final first-class match for the club coming against Cambridge University. At the end of his Sussex career his figures with both bat and ball were impressive for the time. With the bat 5,806 runs at an average of 16.2, with a top score one century, which came against Cambridge University in 1887 and yielded his highest first-class score of 116. In addition to a single century, Humphreys made sixteen half centuries and took 195 catches. With the ball Humphreys was more impressive, taking 682 wickets at an average of 20.72, with best figures of 8–83. Humphreys took 49 five wicket hauls and took ten wickets in a match eight times. In 1900 Humphreys joined the county of his birth, Hampshire. Humphreys played two first-class matches, making his Hampshire debut against Kent, where he took figures of 5/71 on debut.

Peshmerga, U.S. Special Operations Also In the North, the 10th Special Forces Group (10th SFG) and CIA paramilitary officers from their [/ref> The Islamic Group of Kurdistan surrendered after having suffered 100 men killed in the 21 March strikes.[Special Activities Division had the mission of aiding the Kurdish parties, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, de facto rulers of Iraqi Kurdistan since 1991, and employing them against the 13 Iraqi Divisions located near Kirkuk and Mosul. Turkey had officially prohibited any Coalition troops from using their bases or airspace, so lead elements of the 10th SFG had to make a detour infiltration; their flight was supposed to take four hours but instead took ten. On 22 March 2003, the majority of 2nd and 3rd Battalions 10th SFG, from Task Force Viking flew from their forward staging area in Constanta, Romania to a location near Irbil aboard six MC-130H Combat Talons, several were engaged by Iraqi air defences on the flight into northern Iraq (one was sufficiently damaged enough that it was forced to make an emergency landing at Incirlik Air Base).

The ground was unsuitable for vehicles and the section could only take what they could carry by hand. The terrain also hindered casualty evacuation and it took ten hours, to bring the wounded from the front line to the medical post, by which time the stretcher bearers could go no further. In the situation Lieutenant-Colonel MacEwan, brought the remainder of 16 PFA forward to assist with the wounded, No.4 Section being sent to the top of Djebel Mansour.Cole, p.23 MacEwan established a relay of stretcher bearers that cut the evacuation from the top of the mountain down to three hours. The battle continued until 5 February and by that time everyone not involved in surgery, apart from three men were used as stretcher bearers. By the end of the battle the men of 16 PFA had treated 201 casualties.Cole, pp.24–25 The Germans and Italians counterattacked on 20 February, their attack failed but again every man was used in carrying stretchers to the rear. On 26 February the 2nd Parachute battalion defeated an Italian attack and No.3 Section was kept busy with the Italian wounded.

He ended up missing a further nine matches with the injury before being cleared to play his 300th game in the final home-and-away round of the season against St Kilda, which would also serve as the farewell match for retiring former co- captains Jarrad McVeigh and Kieren Jack; he kicked four goals and took ten marks for the match to be among the best afield, as Sydney missed the finals for the first time with Franklin at the club. In the lead-up to his 300th game, Franklin said he was "very confident" he had plenty of good football left in him despite his injuries, and that he fully intended on seeing out the final three years of his nine-year contract with Sydney; he also said that he had his sights set on reaching the 350-game and 1000-goal milestones in that time, becoming the first player to achieve both. He later joined pre-season training early with the club's first- to fourth-year players, having lost weight in an effort to overcome his injury problems and return to full training ahead of 2020.

It took ten years of continual improvement both on and off the field to reach the club's ambition of promotion to the Football Conference after many further improvements, not only to the ground but also regarding the club's structure, giving the club the opportunity to confidently look forward as one of the more progressive Conference clubs. Since elevation to the Conference in season 1995–96, the Shrimps achieved status as one of the leading teams in the league. In fact, only Woking had a longer unbroken membership of the league at this time. Runners-up spot was claimed on one occasion and the play-offs places were narrowly missed twice. Also during this time, the club also equalled its best appearance in the FA Cup in both 2000–01 and 2002–03. On both occasions the club faced Ipswich Town, losing 3–0 and 4–0 respectively. Morecambe also defeated a few league clubs in the FA Cup, including Cambridge United in 2000–01 and Chesterfield in 2002–03. Morecambe were promoted to the Football League for the first time in their history after winning the Conference Playoff Final, beating Exeter City 2–1 at Wembley on 20 May 2007, in front of over 40,000 fans which followed their semi-final victory over York City.

Even so, he decided to become a professional cricketer. Hirst and Rhodes persuaded him to reduce his pace and concentrate on bowling a good length while trying to spin the ball. He practised through the winter of 1920–21 to be ready for the next season. Bowling a mixture of medium pace and his new style of off spin, Macaulay played 27 matches in 1921. After taking wickets steadily at the start of the season, in his fourth game he took six wickets for ten runs as Warwickshire were bowled out for 72. Four more wickets in the second innings gave Yorkshire a big victory and Macaulay had match figures of ten wickets for 65 runs, the first time he had taken ten wickets in a match. Macaulay then came to wider public attention by taking six wickets for three runs to bowl out Derbyshire for 23 runs. He later took ten wickets in the match against Surrey in a losing cause, and in total that season he took 101 first-class wickets at an average of 17.33, placing him third in the Yorkshire bowling averages. With the bat, he scored 457 runs at an average of 22.59, surprising commentators with his ability.

The commander of the unit's second company was Oberleutnant (Lieutenant) Otto Carius, one of the most successful German tank commanders of the war.Wilbeck 2004, pp. 2, 29. On 10 March 1945, the battalion was assigned to LIII Corps and committed to the Battle of Remagen with the 653rd Heavy Panzerjäger Battalion.Tucker-Jones 2012, p. 58. Illustrating the difficulties German forces faced in getting their heavy armor to the front, it took ten days to bring the first five Jagdtigers of the 512th Heavy Panzerjäger Battalion's 2nd Company to the front due to communications breakdowns and the constantly-worrying threat from Allied fighter-bombers. The 1st Company lost four Jagdtigers in rearguard combat actions, three of which were due to mechanical breakdowns rather than from enemy action. They finally engaged the attacking American armor around Herborn to prevent American armor from fully exploiting the capture of the Remagen bridgehead.Zaloga 2015, p. 320. Among the German casualties was Leutnant Sepp Tarlach's machine belonging to the second platoon of the 1st Company, which was abandoned in Obernetphen and subsequently captured.Zaloga 2015, p. 320. On 9 April, the US 750th Tank Battalion claimed another near Offensen which was later photographed after being pushed off a road to clear the path ahead.
