Just as Bean switches off the light, a person from the party shouts "Three cheers for Rupert and Hubert!". He then goes back to sleep.

Hip hip hooray (also hippity hip hooray; Hooray may also be spelled and pronounced hoorah, hurrah, hurray etc.) is a cheer called out to express congratulation toward someone or something, in the English speaking world and elsewhere. The region would not be visited again until 1911, when Wilhelm Filchner discovered the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf.

Tingey firmly replied: The crew gave three cheers, ran to quarters, and called for "Yankee Doodle".

Although it turns out that Gillette hasn't been disabled and has resumed field work, Cyril occasionally accompanies Archer on field missions. Cyril and Lana resumed dating in Season 4, although Lana often appeared to have reservations about it. Still insecure in his relationship with Lana, and egged on by Pam, Cyril shadowed Lana and Archer while they were on a mission posing as honeymooners, which may have prompted Lana to pursue artificial insemination. He was enraged by Lana's revelation in the season finale that she is pregnant and he is not the biological father and says "three cheers for little Johnny bastard".

The crowd gave him a standing ovation as he walked out to the wicket. Yardley led the Englishmen in giving Bradman three cheers, before shaking his hand. The Hunters killed Hume and mutilated his limbs with an axe before leaving the remains for the local hogs.
Music was written by Oyamada and Ozawa with arrangements by the band, Zin N. Summer and Hitomi T. The group's fascination with European-style, British 80s guitar pop ("Goodbye, Our Pastels Badges") and American 60s pop (Lou Reed name-checked in the credits) was already evident. The album was sung entirely in English.
An Advance in Review Order is used to signal the end of the presentation of colours ceremony, by which the regiment offers a final Royal Salute/Presidential Salute (usually by presenting arms), followed by the optional three cheers. Following this, the guest departs from the tribune and the entire parade marches out with the new colours. If he or she remains, following the final report by the parade commander, the ceremony reforms to march past order to render a final salute to the guest, and the whole unit marches out in that manner with the band marching out last. In Malaysia, the order of the presentation is different.
This song of praise to our school we raise, Our well loved G.H.S Nor time nor place, can e'er efface Her work of usefulness. For all she's done, our gratitude she's won And our love will ne'er grow less, So we give three cheers, three hearty cheers, To dear old G.H.S CHORUS Then shout with might and main. Her praises once again. With honest heart, she's played her part, And constant she'll remain With frame her work is crowned: Her efforts are renowned, Loudly profess the G.H.S, so let her halls resound, Oh, Lord we pray, from day to day, This school to guide and bless.
In the Battle of Chancellorsville, Ramseur's was the lead brigade in Jackson's famous flank march of May 2, 1863, against the Union right. Maj. Gen. J.E.B. Stuart, in temporary command of the corps after Jackson was mortally wounded, ordered three cheers for the brigade's aggressive assault and recommended that Ramseur be promoted to major general; this would not come to pass for another year. Ramseur's performance was actually overly aggressive because his brigade moved out in front of the other brigades too quickly, became exposed, and ran out of ammunition. They had to have reinforcements rush in from the neighboring brigade to help consolidate their gains.
The music video was directed by Marc Webb who also directed three previous My Chemical Romance music videos, from their Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge album. Webb was chosen instead of Samuel Bayer who directed "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "Famous Last Words" from their third studio album The Black Parade. The music video is about two lovers, played by Colton Haynes and Cassandra Church, in a strange abstract world, and the video seems to tell the story of how their love quickly withers away until one leaves the other alone. Towards the end of the video, one of the band's amplifiers explodes along with two of the guitars.
Again she played opposite Wayne Morris, and among the cast were newcomers Ronald Reagan, Jane Wyman, Jane Bryan, and Eddie Albert. The film, when released in October 1938, was a big success for all the young players. At this time of professional success, the sisters were informed that Dr. Mullican had died in Iowa. After winning her raise, Priscilla returned to work, but the films assigned to her were no better than those she had turned down. Brother Rat and a Baby (aka, Baby Be Good, 1940) was an inferior sequel and Three Cheers for the Irish (also 1940) gave her little to do.
To the left is a broken artillery piece with some dead and wounded British and French soldiers piled up in a pyramidal composition reminiscent of Théodore Gericault's 1818-19 painting, Raft of the Medusa. One soldier has a tourniquet around his arm, and another's wound is being dressed by a surgeon. Behind them, a Prussian band are playing brass instruments: accounts from the battle report that the band played "God Save the King" at the meeting of Wellington and Blücher, to which the English replied with three cheers for the Prussians. To the right, a Highland soldier from the Black Watch, an English Guardsman, and an Irish Fusilier, are carrying the body of Major the Hon.
In parallel to these studio albums, this line-up had also recorded and released the live album Live at Nearfest and the live DVD Lex Live, both recorded in 2003 and released in 2004. After the departure of Moore, Glass Hammer recruited Carl Groves as their new male lead vocalists, recording and releasing the live DVD Live at Belmont in 2006. After a compilation album of rare/previously unreleased tracks titled The Compilations, the band released their first studio album with Groves, Culture of Ascent, in 2007. In 2009, the band took a completely different musical direction for their tenth studio album, Three Cheers for the Broken-Hearted, a pop rock album without Groves with focus on Bogdanowicz's vocals.
Hughes was back in the saddle when the gelding returned to Longchamp for the Group 1 Prix du Cadran over 4000 metres on 3 October and started an 18.7/1 outsider. Tiraaz was made favourite, while the other seven runners included San Sebastian, Asolo, Canon Can (Doncaster Cup) and Three Cheers (Prix de Lutèce). Invermark raced towards the rear of the field as Canon Can set the pace, before being switched to the outside and making rapid progress in the straight. Tiraaz went to the front but Invermark overhauled the favourite in the last 100 metres and won by half a length, with the pair finishing four lengths clear of San Sebastian in third.
After being informed by Captain Rogers that his novel vessel was functioning "remarkably well", the crew of Pluto gave Savannah three cheers, as "the happiest effort of mechanical genius that ever sailed the western sea." Savannah's next recorded encounter was not until June 19, off the coast of Ireland with the cutter HMS Kite, which made the same mistake as Contract three weeks earlier and chased the steamship for several hours believing it to be a sailing vessel on fire.Smithsonian, p. 632. Unable to catch the ship, Kite eventually fired several warning shots, and Captain Rogers brought his vessel to a halt, whereupon Kite caught up and its commander asked permission to inspect the ship.
And what do you say under these circumstances? I wonder if you see the ball very clearly in your last Test in England, on a ground where you've played some of the biggest cricket in your life and the opposing side has just stood round you and given you three cheers and the crowd has clapped you all the way to the wicket. I wonder if you see the ball at all." Bradman admitted to being moved by the applause, but always denied shedding tears, saying "to suggest I got out, as some people did, because I had tears in my eyes while I was looking at the bowler was quite untrue.
42 Ernst Troeltsch, similarly, looked at culture as the soil of religion and thought that, therefore, transplanting a religion from its original culture to a foreign culture would actually kill it in the same manner that transplanting a plant from its natural soil to an alien soil would kill it.Eric J. Sharpe, "Religion and Cultures", An inaugural lecture delivered on 6 July 1977 by Eric J. Sharpe, Professor of Religious Studies in the University of Sydney. In 1915, he supported a national exchange system that would help match job seekers with employers looking for help.Udo Sautter, Three Cheers for the Unemployed: Government and Unemployment Before the New Deal (Cambridge University Press, 1991), p. 83. During the House debate on the 19th Amendment in January 1918, Austin, referring to Congressman Jeannette Rankin of Montana, argued, "The highest, best, and strongest evidence that women's suffrage is a success has been established in this House by the enviable record made by our colleague from Montana, who has won the respect, confidence, and admiration of the members and officials of this House."Norma Smith, Jeannette Rankin, America's Conscience (Montana Historical Society, 2002), p. 125.
Major General Daniel Harvey Hill took command of the division on May 20, and Martin's brigade won distinction for their charge, driving the enemy from the works in their front. Afterwards his men carried him around on their shoulders, shouting, "Three cheers for Old One Wing." The brigade was then assigned to Robert Hoke's division, and reinforced Robert E. Lee at Turkey Hill during the Battle of Cold Harbor, where they repulsed the Union assaults on June 3, and afterward were engaged in a sharpshooting fight along the line. Lee, believing Ulysses S. Grant would make another attack, informed Martin that he held the key to the Confederate position, and asked if his troops, comparatively new, could be relied upon.
On 1 October at Longchamp the gelding was ridden by Davy Bonilla when he made his third attempt to win the Prix du Cadran and started the 122/1 complete outsider of the nine runners. The Aga Khan's entry of Enzeli and Tajoun was made ods-on favourite while the other runners included Royal Rebel, Persian Punch, Churlish Charm (Yorkshire Cup) and Three Cheers (Prix de Lutèce). Persian Punch set the pace and opened up a clear advantage from Enzeli, with Bonilla settling his mount close behind. San Sebastian began to make progress in the straight, overhauled Persian Punch 100 metres from the finish and won by half a length with Royal Rebel, Churlish Charm, Enzeli and Tajoun just behind.
On 19 July 1769, Saint John Island was separated from the jurisdiction of Nova Scotia and became its own colony of the British Crown. Prince Edward, George III's fourth son, arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1794 and, while he never visited Saint John Island, he, as Commander-in-Chief of the British forces in North America, ordered that new barracks be built in Charlottetown and defences constructed to protect the harbour. Recognising the Prince's interest in the island, its legislature passed a bill on 1 February 1799 that changed the colony's name in honour of Edward. By 1843 construction of Province House was begun, and the laying of the cornerstone was followed by a Royal Salute and three cheers for Queen Victoria.
Blainey has been an important contributor to the debate over Australian history, often referred to as the History Wars. In his 1993 Sir John Latham Memorial Lecture, Blainey coined the phrases "Black armband view of history" versus the contrasting "three cheers" view (see History wars). The phrase "Black armband view of history" began to be used, pejoratively or otherwise, by some Australian commentators and intellectuals about historians and journalists, judges and clergymen, whom they viewed as having presented an unfairly critical portrayal of Australian history since European settlement. Blainey coined the term the "Black armband view of history" to refer to those historians and academics, usually leftist, who denigrated Australia's past to an unusual degree and even accused European Australians of genocide against Aborigines.

The band signed with Reprise Records the next year and released its major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004. Concurrently, the Rose Street home of Arthur's evangelist brother Lewis (who had already fled with his family) was targeted; his furniture was thrown from windows and set ablaze in the street. Mayor Lawrence arrived with the watch but was shouted down with three cheers for Webb, and the police were driven from the scene. Four thousand rioters descended on the Bowery Theatre to avenge an anti-American remark made by George P. Farren, the theatre's English-born stage managerCockrell calls him George P. Farren; Lott calls him George Farren. Wilmeth and Bigsby confuse him with William Farren, the noted English actor, who was then appearing in London: The Times, July 7, 1834, pg. 4; Issue 15523; col A (advt for William Farren's appearance in 'Hamlet' at the Theatre-royal, Haymarket).
As part of Elizabeth II's 80th birthday celebrations, a spectacular feu de joie occurred on the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace on 17 June 2006 following the RAF flypast after Trooping the Colour. (Although there was a feu de joie outside the Commonwealth buildings in Berlin, 1953 to mark her coronation, this was the first feu de joie during Her Majesty's reign to be performed in her presence.) A cascade of rounds was fired by the Old Guard, the New Guard and six Half Companies of Street-Liners in the Forecourt of the Palace. The cascades of blank gunshots were interspersed with the National Anthem, God Save the Queen. After the feu de joie the troops on the Forecourt laid down their weapons, removed their headgear and gave "Three Cheers for Her Majesty The Queen".
Babb estimates that the studio version was recorded "around that time, probably in 1997". The other cover is "It's All Too Much" (originally by The Beatles, although this version was also inspired by Steve Hillage's cover in his 1976 album L), which was recorded in 2009 during the sessions for Three Cheers for the Broken-Hearted, and performed "as an encore piece for a few live shows". For Untold Tales, Glass Hammer replaced their original recording's pipe organ with a Hammond organ, and created a new bass line. "Babb's Bach" is a recording from 2008 in which Babb performs a re-arranged instrumental version of an excerpt of the 1731 church cantata Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV 140 by Johann Sebastian Bach, namely the fourth movement, Zion hört die Wächter singen.
Lilac Time In 1914, Ross was one of the founders of the Performing Rights Society. Ross continued, after Edwardes's death, to write lyrics for numerous shows at the Gaiety, Daly's, the Adelphi Theatre, and other London theatres. During World War I, he continued to produce hits, writing the lyrics for the musical adaptation of a French comedy, Theodore & Co (1916), the operetta Arlette (1917), the musical The Boy (1917), André Messager's adaptation of Booth Tarkington's Monsieur Beaucaire (1919, "Philomel") and contributed to A Southern Maid (1920). He also worked on the revues Three Cheers (1917) with Herman Darewski, Airs and Graces with Lionel Monckton, and, years later, Sky High for the Palladium Theatre, but these were only diversions from his chief focus of writing lyrics for musicals and operetta adaptations.
The match ends when the ball is placed in a goal or carried over the boundary. The hurler who does this is termed the “winner of the ball” and his team wins the match. The hurlers then walk back to the town, and once in the main streets the winner of the ball is carried on the shoulders of two team-mates back to Market Square, while members of the victorious team sing the hurling song: Each rendition of the song is followed by the winner "calling-up" the ball, which involves three cheers followed by his declaring "Town Ball" or "Country Ball" as appropriate, to further cheers by the winning side. The song and call-up are repeated until the hurlers reach Market Square, where the ball is called-up a final time before the hurlers disperse.
Ode to Echo is the fourteenth studio album by American progressive rock band Glass Hammer, released on March 11, 2014. It is the first album with drummer Aaron Raulston, and marks the return of former vocalists Carl Groves and Susie Bogdanowicz. Groves wasn't featured in a Glass Hammer album since Culture of Ascent in 2007, and Bogdanowicz's last album with the band was Three Cheers for the Broken-Hearted in 2009; in the three previous albums, all lead vocals were sung by new singer Jon Davison. Ode to Echo is also notable for featuring all the full-time vocalists in Glass Hammer history with Groves, Davison, Bogdanowicz, session member (and former full-time vocalist) Walter Moore sharing lead vocals, while band leaders Steve Babb and Fred Schendel (who sang lead vocals in some of the band's works) and original Glass Hammer singer Michelle Young provided backing vocals.
