Ternion was released on 30 January 2012. The limited edition version of the record included a bonus disc Ternion Aside, which is a 26-minute reworking of the album by Thomas Wegg-Prosser. The first single, "Where Are Your People?", was released on 5 February 2012, picking up television coverage on Sky's Soccer AM along with radio plays on stations such as XFM, Amazing Radio and fm4.

There was significant interest on music blogs, including Clash Music, Disco Naivete and lagasta. This single was accompanied by remixes from the house act eatseverythingmusic and electronic duo Walls. The video for the release was made by Alex Turvey. The second single from Ternion, "Tired Of Running", was released on 4 June 2012.

On Recordstore Day, 21 April 2012, the band released a limited edition double A-side of a cover of The Horrors' "Still Life" and Washed Out's "Within Without". To promote Ternion, the band performed the following live sessions: All Saints Basement Sessions, Daytrotter, Play NetWork, Nova Radio, le Mouv and The Clash.

In "Aftershock" Pt. 2, he attacked the Teen Titans by combining with Overload and Plasmus to form Ternion. This composite monster was defeated by the Teen Titans. In "Haunted", the Teen Titans ended up fighting Cinderblock in the forest until Robin saw what appeared to be Slade. Because of Robin going after Slade with Starfire with him, Cinderblock ended up getting away.

After this, believing Superman to be dead, the Tribunal then turn to the Cyborg, whom they are interrogating and torturing in order to get a confession out of him: admission of his guilt for the destruction of Coast City and its inhabitants. The Tribunal Prime orders that he be tortured even more upon hearing this confession; Pollux, however, is struck by the Tribunal Prime when he disagrees with him. Right after this, Superman and the Superman Rescue Squad confront the Tribunal Prime, after which Pollux and Ternion - who, by now, have had enough of the Tribunal Prime's abuse of his power - declare the Tribunal Prime to be guilty of multiple crimes, including corruption. After a brief scuffle with Superman and his friends, the Tribunal Prime goes to leave the planet, but as he is now technically a convict, this is construed as escape, so Pollux and Ternion order him to be shot and killed.

We Have Band, also known as "WHB", is a three-piece electronic music group from Manchester and London consisting of Darren Bancroft and the husband-and- wife duo Thomas Wegg-Prosser and Dede Wegg-Prosser. They have released three albums through the French-based Naïve Records. Their first album, WHB, was released on 5 April 2010 and a ten-track second album, Ternion, was released on 29 January 2012. We Have Band have remixed many artists including Gorillaz, Bloc Party, Micachu, Peter Bjorn and John and M83.

But years later, by the time of the film's release, audiences had decided that Office Space had struck a chord, and they were ready to see Judge return to on-the-job humor and thus the Extract script was given new life. Seeking to keep Extract below the radar of the studio system, Judge and his producers set up a production company, Ternion Productions, and arranged private financing—while partnering with Miramax for domestic distribution of the film. Judge relied heavily on his own personal knowledge of the industrial world to bring the story to life. "I actually worked in a factory a little bit myself," the director stated.

Weakened after a titanic battle with the Parasite II (Rudolph "Rudy" Jones in a more monstrous form than before), Superman inexplicably finds himself shackled in chains and under arrest by a group of intergalactic law enforcement officers under the command of the Tribunal, an intergalactic court dedicated to justice in all of its many forms. Taken to another galaxy, Superman briefly escapes and regains the energy and his superpowers that were stolen from him by the Parasite II; however, he is recaptured and has his superpowers negated by a device called a Geneti-Lock. He is then put on trial by the Tribunal, which is made up of three large, blue-skinned aliens, with their leader named the Tribunal Prime and the other two named Pollux and Ternion. Having already discovered that one of his relatives contributed to the destruction of the planet Krypton and the annihilation of the Kryptonian race, Superman is found guilty of the crime by reason of ancestry and sentenced to death.
