Dry Dock Brewing Co. was Aurora, Colorado’s first when owners Kevin DeLange and Michelle Reding opened with a 7 BBL brewhouse in a 900-square-foot space next their original business The Brew Hut, a homebrew supply shop, in 2005. They named the brewery as a nod to Kevin’s love of nautical history. Dry Dock expanded in 2009, and again in 2011. Now the brewery runs a 7 BBL taphouse including a tasting room with 180 seats and 18 taps at its original location at 15120 E. Hampden Avenue which is called South Dock.

The Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular, or GABS as it is commonly known, is a beer and food festival that celebrates the diversity and creativity of craft beer. It is run by The Local Taphouse beer bars each year in Melbourne and Sydney and in 2015, almost 23,000 people attended the events. The Local Taphouses regularly run beer festivals, or SpecTAPulars, to showcase rare or exclusive beers under a different theme. The original GABS (it was originally called the Great Australian Beer SpecTAPular) was held at both venues in both Sydney and Melbourne on 12 February 2011.

St Pinnock Church Connon Methodist Church The Church of England parish church of St Pynnochus (Winnoc), is a Grade I listed building but closed for worship in 2017. The parish church lies on the edge of the hamlet of St Pinnock, where there are two Methodist chapels: Connon Chapel and Trevelmond Chapel, located within the parish. The parish has a Church of England Primary School and a Community Hall, both at East Taphouse. The medieval church building was cruciform but the present structure is mainly of the 14th century; it was over-restored in Victorian times.

1–49 Between 1595 and 1628 Heminges took on ten apprentices with the Grocers' Company. Of these ten, eight appear to have performed for Heminges's company, in both boys' and adult roles. Alexander Cooke was one of his apprentices. Heminges also built and operated a taphouse at the Globe.. Heminges was mentioned in Shakespeare's will, along with Richard Burbage and Henry Condell, each being bequeathed 26 shillings and eightpence to buy mourning rings. Stanley Wells and others have wondered if that bequest represented a kind of pact for the three men to create and publish an edition of Shakespeare’s collected plays.

Union Park, currently under construction north of U.S. 380 by Hillwood Communities, is expected to be open soon. Entrance to Beard Park in Little Elm, Texas. Beard Park, located at the intersection of Main Street and Eldorado Parkway, is home to the Hydrous wake board park, the Taphouse beer garden, Hula Hut, future trails, future historic village, and is the future home of Little Elm's Farmers Market, which is currently set up in the Hobby Lobby shopping center. McCord Park, located along FM 423, is a wooded 38 acre park containing gentle slopes, a creek, heavy tree cover, a fishing pond, and acres of open space.

Smooth FM also ran a number of 'big money' promotions to entice listeners to trial the station - the 'Smooth £10K Tripleplay' ran for several weeks in late 2005, giving £10,000 to a listener for correctly identifying three consecutive songs in a particular order. Another large prize was awarded to Dawn Muggleton on 19 April 2006, however - who correctly identified the 'Smooth Secret Song' (Diana Ross' My Old Piano), winning £118,454 at the end of a contest that had run for several months, which was, at that time, the biggest cash prize awarded on UK radio since 1999.
