En route to the planet Mar-da'en, Captain Marvel is told by a transmission from Hulkling that Ki'nal is an experimental city that has since become a sanctuary city for the Kree and the Skrull. It has now destroyed because of one of the Kree soldiers.

After he inadvertently discovers the presence of walkers in the Greene barn, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) begs Glenn (Steven Yeun) to keep it a secret. Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn) quickly notices Glenn's nervousness, and when he talks privately to Glenn, Glenn blurts out about the walkers as well as his knowledge that Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies) is pregnant. Dale confronts Hershel (Scott Wilson) about the walkers. Hershel believes they are still people, including his wife and stepson, and can be cured, and refuses to kill them after Dale explains the danger.

Malachi relents, telling them that their cover had been blown and they were forced to kill everyone on the ship, with Ziva killing Cryer. Aware that this would permanently bar Ziva from becoming an NCIS agent, Ducky talks privately to her. He urges her to tell him what happened, and she relents: a shot had been fired, erupting chaos on the ship and leading to the shootout. Though she had participated in the violence in self-defense, she had attempted to save Cryer by negotiating a truce when he assured her that he did not betray them.

"Mary" is actually Ballinger's girlfriend Ruby.

He and several other SAMCRO members burst into a Chinese gambling hall and massacre Lin's remaining men - with Lin dead in Stockton at Juice's hands, and his remaining soldiers killed, this ultimately brings an end to SAMCRO's war against the Chinese. Jax agrees to step down as President over his killing of Jury, who was in fact innocent in ratting out the Club to the Chinese, but asks that the Club remove its written bylaw against having black members. Chibs nominates T.O. Cross, and it passes unanimously. Afterwards, Jax talks privately with Chibs, telling him that he came clean about Jury's murder to the other Presidents and recommended the Mayhem vote.

Sara talks privately with head nurse Annabelle Hendricks before finishing the tour with the basement cells, where the most dangerous patients are kept - a place nicknamed "Madhouse." One of the patients attacks Clark with a shard of glass but is beaten down by Drake, a gruff security guard. Later at night, Clark witnesses a young boy running around before going to help with a "situation in the rec room," where he watches Hendricks repeatedly shock Alice with a stun gun over medication until she is saved by Carl.

After having sex on the floor of Spike's crypt, Buffy and Spike discuss Buffy's feelings for Spike; she acknowledges "sometimes" liking him at best, but "never" trusting him. (Nevertheless, it is implied that she then allows him to handcuff her.) Later, Buffy talks privately with Tara about the fact that Spike can now hurt her despite his chip continuing to function; she fears Willow's spell brought her back "wrong," and Tara agrees to research the possibility. That evening, Xander and Anya teach Dawn to waltz, in preparation for the wedding. Dawn leaves to stay with her friend Janice, not having anticipated Buffy's uncharacteristic desire to spend the evening with her, so Buffy joins the others at the Bronze.
