Vergne became a member of both the renowned Red Bull Junior Team and the French Automobile Sport Federation (FFSA), at the conclusion of the 2007 season. The following season, Vergne competed in both the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 2.0 West European Cup championships for SG Formula. He finished sixth in the Eurocup standings, taking nine points scoring positions in fourteen races, including a podium in the final race of the season at Barcelona.

The 1998–99 season was the 100th season of competitive league football in the history of English football club Wolverhampton Wanderers. They played the season in the second tier of the English football system, the Football League First Division. The season began with Mark McGhee as manager but he left "by mutual agreement" on 5 November after a run of two victories from fourteen games; the team having begun with four consecutive league wins. Upon McGhee's departure his assistant Colin Lee was placed in charge of the team and, after taking ten points from a possible twelve, he was handed the post for the remainder of the season.

He was more successful in Yorkshire's one-day matches, taking ten wickets from five matches at an average of less than 20. In August 2010, Best's central contract was not renewed. Best's domestic performance in the 2011/12 season, in which he took 17 first-class wickets at an average of 20.64, led to his recall to the international squad: in March 2012, Best was selected in the West Indies' ODI squad to face Australia at home. Though he did not play in the series, two months later when the West Indies toured England Best was drafted into the Test squad as cover for injured fast bowler Shannon Gabriel.

Anshun and Arunta entered the bay on the morning of 6 September and berthed at the pontoon jetty at Gili Gili to begin unloading with intentions to put to sea for safety during the night but orders were given by local authorities to continue unloading under her cargo lights through the night while Arunta departed to join 's Jacob and Swan holding at sea to the south. Shortly after 10 p.m. she came under fire from the Japanese cruiser Tenryū and destroyer Arashi during the battle of Milne Bay. Anshun was hit by the fire from the cruiser taking ten hits settling by the head before rolling onto her side.

Brian Stanley Boshier (6 March 1932 – 2 September 2009) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Leicestershire County Cricket Club between 1953 and 1964. Boshier, a very tall right arm seam bowler, took 510 wickets in his first-class cricket career at an average of 23 runs per wicket. He was accurate in length and when conditions were helpful he used all of his 196 centimetres (6 feet 5 inches) to extract steep bounce. Boshier took five wickets in an innings 23 times and recorded his best figures, 8/45, against Essex in 1957, besides also taking ten wickets in a match against Lancashire in 1960.

In 1877, Ah Louis was awarded two large road construction contracts, including a road from Paso Robles, California to Cambria, California (now the westernmost portion of State Route 46) and the first stages of a road connecting San Luis Obispo to Paso Robles, California (now referred to as Cuesta Grade, a portion of which is still drivable and is labeled off the freeway as "Old Stagecoach Road" and a portion of U.S. Route 101). In 1884, Wong received the contract to construct the four Cuesta Grade tunnels for the Southern Pacific Railroad's coast route, requiring the provision of 2,000 laborers and taking ten years to complete.

The son of Sir Ian Heathcoat-Amory, 2nd Baronet and Alexandra Georgina Seymour, Heathcoat-Amory was born at Mayfair, Middlesex. He was educated at Eton College, playing for the college cricket in the Eton v Harrow fixtures of 1912 and 1913, captaining the college in the latter year. After leaving Eton, he studied at Christ Church, Oxford, where he played first-class cricket for the university cricket club. His first match was against Middlesex, making two further appearances in that season against the Free Foresters and GJV Weigall's XI. He also played in minor counties cricket for Devon in 1914, playing a single match against Berkshire, taking ten wickets in the match.

Kilner was recalled for Hearne in the fourth Test, but rain prevented all play after the first day. He bowled 12 wicketless overs, meaning he had not dismissed anyone in his first two Tests and he did not play in the last Test as Hearne returned. For Yorkshire, he had a more successful time, three times taking ten wickets in a match, including twelve for 55 in the final championship match of the season, which Yorkshire had to win to have a chance of winning the title. Yorkshire's opponents, Sussex, were bowled out twice for less than 100, and when other results went Yorkshire's way, the club were crowned champions for the third successive year.

In 1999 he moved to Yamaha and finished in 9th place in his first two years at the team and in 5th place in the 2002 championship, winning the Brazilian Grand Prix in Rio de Janeiro Sebastián Porto career statistics at MotoGP.com He moved to the Repsol Aprilia team in 2004 and was championship runner-up, winning five Grands Prix and taking ten podium positions in total. Peter Raymond Sleep (born 4 May 1957) is a former Australian cricketer who played 14 Test matches for Australia between 1979 and 1990. Nicknamed "Sounda", Sleep made his national debut during the World Series Cricket period, and although his performances were not high, Sleep publicly reported that he had turned down a $15,000/year offer to play for World Series Cricket.Australian Cricket, "People...", March 1979, p. 5. He was a leg spinner who was in and out of the team, rarely playing two games in succession, though after taking ten wickets in the 1986–87 Ashes he was retained for the next four Tests after the series before falling out of favour again.

The 2014 ADAC Formel Masters was the seventh and the final season of the ADAC Formel Masters series, an open-wheel motor racing series for emerging young racing drivers based in Germany. The season began on 26 April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and finished on 5 October at Hockenheim after eight race weekends, totalling 24 races. Neuhauser Racing Team driver Mikkel Jensen dominated the battle for the drivers' championship from start to finish taking ten wins from the 24 races on his way to the championship title with a round to spare. The other race wins were shared between his teammate Tim Zimmermann, ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg drivers Maximilian Günther and Marvin Dienst, Schiller Motorsport driver Fabian Schiller, as well as Lotus drivers Dennis Marschall and Joel Eriksson.

According to George Akropolites, the Nicaean fleet had 30 galleys and the Venetian fleet 13. However, the Nicaeans lost 13 of their own vessels, which were captured by the Venetians, so that "each one of the enemy ships gained one trireme as spoil, with its men and weapons". The contemporary Venetian chronicler Martin da Canal, on the other hand, claims that the Nicaean fleet numbered no less than 160 ships, "including galleys and other large and small vessels, all of which were well equipped", while the Venetian fleet numbered only ten galleys. Under the command of Podestà of Constantinople Giovanni Quirino, the Venetian fleet defeated the Nicaean fleet under Iophre the Armenian in the battle, taking ten Nicaean galleys captive.

Even in 1947, there were just ten self-service shops in the country. In 1951, ex-US Navy sailor Patrick Galvani, son-in-law of Express Dairies chairman, made a pitch to the board to open a chain of supermarkets across the country. The UK's first supermarket under the new Premier Supermarkets brand opened in Streatham, South London, taking ten times as much per week as the average British general store of the time. Other chains caught on, and after Galvani lost out to Tesco's Jack Cohen in 1960 to buy the 212 Irwin's chain, the sector underwent a large amount of consolidation, resulting in 'the big four' dominant UK of today: Tesco, Asda (owned by Wal-Mart), Sainsbury's and Morrisons.

He debuted for Oxford University in 1856 against the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and played in that seasons University Match against Cambridge at Lord's, in addition to playing twice for the Gentlemen of England. He played two matches each in 1857 and 1858 for Oxford, and made an appearance each for the Gentlemen of England in 1858 and 1859. Playing six first-class matches apiece for Oxford University and the Gentlemen of England, he took 41 wickets for Oxford at an average of 10.36, while for the Gentlemen he took 26 wickets at an average of 14.64. He took five wickets in an innings for each side twice, as well as taking ten wickets in a match twice for Oxford.

The hull was towed into Cook Strait where it was used for target practice in Operation "Scuttle Two" by 75 Squadron RNZAF Mosquito bombers on 24 January 1952 and sunk.New Zealand Marine News, 1963, Volume 15 Number 2, Pages 16–18 This was the second ship sunk as part of training by the squadron's Mosquitos, the first being the barque Lutterworth on 26 June 1950. Seven Mosquitos under the command of Squadron Leader E C Gartrell, OBE used three-inch solid-headed rockets to sink the ship, while an eighth filmed the event for the National Film Unit. The attack lasted 35 minutes and the ship sank at 3:43 pm in 450 fathoms of water 15 miles south east of Baring Head after taking ten direct hits.

La Fenice Opera House from the stage The fire of 1996 completely destroyed the five tiers of boxes, the stage and the ceiling, leaving only the perimeter walls on the original house. Reconstruction was based on the architect Aldo Rossi's design, keeping to the motto “As it was, where it was,” which had been applied to the rebuilding of St Mark's bell Campanile, exactly the same as the original and taking ten years, after it collapsed in 1902. The faithful reconstruction of the house was facilitated by the comprehensive treatise on the reconstruction that had been drawn up by the Meduna brothers after the work carried out following the first fire of 1836. Reconstruction of the decorations in the house, in a Rococo style, was based mainly on consultation of the considerable photographic archive on the opera house held in the theatre's historic archive.

Lisa Nye holds the record for the most dismissals in a single innings, having been responsible for eight of the ten wickets for England against New Zealand in 1992. Only two players have achieved the all-rounders double of scoring a century and taking ten wickets in the same match; Betty Wilson did it against England in 1958, while Enid Bakewell managed it for England against the West Indies in 1979.

In the United States there are accounts of many long-distance rides occurring from 1791 when George Washington rode from Augusta to Columbia that was nearly a hundred-mile ride in one day, taking ten and a half hours to complete. Long distance riding has played a significant role in shaping the exploration across many frontiers and evolving into the equestrian sport it is recognised as today. Though the need to ride long distances has existed since the domestication of the horse, endurance riding as an organised activity was first developed in the United States based on European cavalry (particularly Polish and Russian WWI) and breeding program tests requiring the ability to carry 300 lb (140 kg) over 100 miles (160 km) in one day. Organised endurance riding as a formal sport began in 1955, when Wendell Robie and a group of equestrians rode from the Lake Tahoe area across the Sierra Nevada Range to Auburn in under 24 hours.

Upon the team's return to India, Chappell experimented with Pathan by using him as an opening batsman in the Challenger Trophy prior to the late 2005 series against Sri Lankan cricket team. Pathan was subsequently used at No. 3 in the batting line-up in the First ODI against Sri Lanka in Nagpur, where he scored 83 runs from 70 balls to help India post a total of 6/350. Pathan also took 4/37 and 3/38 in the second and seventh matches at Mohali and Baroda respectively to win two-man of the match awards, taking ten wickets at 25.60 at ane economy rate of 5.22 for the whole series.

The post box on London Road, Isleworth, painted in honour of Farah as part of a scheme to celebrate Britain's 2012 Olympic gold medal winners 2011 was a successful year for Farah, beginning on 8 January at the Edinburgh Cross Country, where he defeated the top four finishers of that year's European Championships to take victory in the long race. In February 2011, Farah announced that he would be relocating to Portland, Oregon to work with new coach Alberto Salazar, train alongside Galen Rupp, and avoid the attention of the British tabloids. On 19 February 2011 in Birmingham, England, Farah broke the European 5000 m indoor record with a time of 13:10.60, at the same time taking ten seconds off the 29-year-old British indoor record of Nick Rose. On 5 March 2011, he won gold in the 3000 metres at the European Indoor Championships. On 20 March, Farah also won the NYC Half Marathon in a time of 1:00:23, a new British record. He and training partner Galen Rupp had originally planned on running a 10,000 m race in New Zealand.

Middlesex v Marylebone Cricket Club in 1864 1865 saw no advance on his previous three years despite taking ten wickets in an innings against a very weak Yorkshire eleven, but as Grundy gradually declined with age Wootton came to take on more responsibility for the Marylebone Club and even for Nottinghamshire, where he was always second fiddle to Grundy, Cris Tinley or Jem Shaw. He also established himself as a regular for the Players and other representative elevens, though he did little apart from six for 24 on a Kennington Oval pitch spoiled by rain where the Gentlemen came back and won well.Gentlemen v Players in 1866 1867 was Wootton's most successful season ever with 142 wickets in just nineteen games; though he again failed against the Gentlemen where Alfred Lubbock and E.M. Grace made large scores, he was more terrifying than ever elsewhere until August. The exceptionally hot and dry summer of 1868, however, saw him lose a little of his deadliness with thirty-six fewer wickets, but Wootton recovered this ground for one last time in 1869 before, at the beginning of the 1870s, losing his skill for good just before the heavy roller and motor mower eliminated the shooters that made him so feared.

He placed 20th in the 2014 World Speedgolf Championships at Bandon Dunes, Oregon, shooting 83 in 51 minutes for a Speedgolf score of 134.12. In 2015, Kearns repeated his 20th- place finish in the professional division of the World Speedgolf Championships on Oct 19-20 at the Glen Club in Chicago, IL. His 36-hole score was 289. In 2016, Kearns placed 19th in the professional division of the World Speedgolf Championships on Oct 17-18 at the Glen Club in Chicago, IL. In 2018, Kearns twice broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest single hole of golf ever played by an individual (minimum hole length of 500 yards.) On May 8th, 2018, at the Bing Maloney Golf Course in Sacramento, CA, Kearns played the 503-yard ninth hole in one minute, 40.24 seconds, taking ten seconds off of the previous record held by Steve Jeffs of England. On June 1st, 2018, at the Woodley Lakes Golf Course in Van Nuys, CA, Kearns played the 503-yard fourth hole in one minute, 38.75 seconds. Using only a single club, a 3-wood, Kearns scored a birdie four on the par-5 hole, sprinting full speed between shots.
