Hate Songs in E Minor is the debut studio album by British rock band Fudge Tunnel, released in 1991 by Earache. It followed in the wake of two critically acclaimed singles ("Fudge Tunnel" in 1989 and "The Sweet Sound of Excess" in 1990, both on Pigboy/Winyl Solution), after which the group were signed to Earache. She was also the music director for the previous Conservative Convention held at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, BC, where she performed for Prime Minister Stephen Harper with her duo SaxAndViolin. In late 2017, to early 2018, Siemens' duo Roy & Rosemary embarked on a U.S. tour that saw them perform thirty-five concerts across the U.S. midwest.

This album is one of three albums produced by Kernon in 1985. The band "Moving Target" features Simon Townshend playing guitar, Andy Shillito playing bass guitar, Dane Morrell playing drums and Paul Rogers playing keyboards. The band once played live at the rock club The Ritz in New York City on which they played the tracks "Meet You", "Frustrated Hearts", "Addictions", and "Genuine" from this album as well as "I'm the Answer" from Sweet Sound and a new track "Broken Heart" which was not recorded until 1987 when it was released as a single. A second record was to have been released on the label Atlantic Records, but the label kept Simon Townshend busy remixing and re-recording under their contract, they never seemed pleased with the results.

The album was produced by award-winning producer Dale Penner (Nickleback, Holly McNarland), and featured GRAMMY Award-winning musician Carl Jackson and legendary violinist Buddy Spicher. Siemens released the album in a live concert at Plum Coulee's annual festival Plum Fest, backed by her bluegrass band The Sweet Sound Revival.
