Uwe Mehlmann is a paralympic athlete from Germany competing mainly in category B3 sprint events. Uwe competed in both the 1988 Summer Paralympics for West Germany and the 1992 Summer Paralympics for Germany. In 1988 he won a silver medal in the 100m behind Australia's David Goodman he also competed in the long jump finishing fourth and the 400m finishing fourth again. At the 1992 games he won gold ahead of Italian Aldo Manganaro in the 200m having broken the games record in the heats and the final, he then swapped places with the Italian to win silver in the 100m and also won bronze in the long jump.

Harimau Muda A finished 5th while Harimau Muda B played their worst season being in the bottom 3. However, they managed to avoid relegation and will continue to play in the Malaysia Premier League. For the 2012 season, Harimau Muda A swapped places with the Young Lions of Singapore, which is made up of the Singapore's national under-23 team.

The Bahrain International Circuit in 2010 The first Bahrain Grand Prix took place on 4 April 2004, making history as the first Formula One Grand Prix to be held in the Middle East. Bahrain fought off fierce competition from elsewhere in the region to stage the race, with Egypt, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) all hoping for the prestige of hosting a Formula One Grand Prix (the UAE would host a Grand Prix from 2009). The Bahrain Grand Prix is usually the third race on the Formula One calendar, apart from the 2006 season, when Bahrain swapped places with the traditional opener, the Australian Grand Prix, which was pushed back to avoid a clash with the Commonwealth Games. At the opening round of the season at Teretonga, Lucas Auer took pole position for the opening race – as he had done in 2012 – after finishing fastest in the first qualifying session, which was held in dry conditions. By the time the second session had started, rain had started to fall and caused the drivers to take to the track on wet-weather tyres. By the end, Félix Serrallés had set a lap time three tenths of a second quicker than anyone else to take pole for the feature race, the Spirit of a Nation. In the opening race, Auer led from start-to-finish to take his maiden win in the series, ahead of defending champion Nick Cassidy and Alex Lynn, who had swapped places from their starting positions.

The present-day Marvel continuity is referred to as an "Age of Heroes" that abruptly ended in a catastrophe a century before that also set back society (this catastrophe was averted in the present when Miguel O'Hara- Spider-Man 2099- temporarily swapped places with his past self shortly before the cataclysm, turning Miguel's world into an alternate future of the Marvel Universe rather than the future).

Uniquely amongst the six Indian cavalry brigades sent to the Western Front in the First World War, the 5th (Mhow) Cavalry Brigade was not a pre war formation. The brigade was formed on 11 November 1914 from units in 5th (Mhow) Division and the 6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons from Muttra. In company with the 7th (Meerut) Cavalry Brigade, it departed Bombay on 19 November 1914 and landed at Marseilles on 14–16 December. It joined the 2nd Indian Cavalry Division which was formally constituted on 14 December. The division concentrated around Orléans on 20–24 December and moved up to the Front on 1–4 January 1915. While in France, the brigade was known by its geographical rather than numerical designation so as to avoid confusion with the British 5th Cavalry Brigade also serving on the Western Front at the same time. On 15 September 1915, the brigade swapped places with the 3rd (Ambala) Cavalry Brigade of 1st Indian Cavalry Division. Other than the Battle of Cambrai when it helped to hold the German counter-attack, it was not involved in battle.

In part, this was due to the fact that, since its second renovation, a second class-member King Edward I had been restored for mainline operation. In addition, the higher ballast beds in place on the Western Region since the early 1980s, to allow for the high speed running of the InterCity 125 train sets, have greatly reduced the running-level loading gauge of the former GWR mainline – especially under bridges – to , so enabling mainline running of a "King" class now requires a reduction in the height of the original GWR-built chimney, cab and safety valve bonnets by , as had been done on the restoration of King Edward I. No.6000 is the only one of the three preserved "King" class locomotives to retain its original-built full-height fittings. After closure of the Bulmer's Steam Centre in 1990, No.6000 moved to the Swindon "Steam" Railway Museum. In 2008, it swapped places with BR standard class 9F 92220 Evening Star, and became resident at the National Railway Museum.

The current incarnation of State Highway 47 was first commissioned on November 12, 1936. Originally, the highway began at SH-34 south of Leedey and proceeded east to end at SH-14 (present-day US-183) south of Putnam. However, the road was removed from the state highway system just over a year later, on the last day of 1937. It was brought back with the same extent on June 19, 1939. Throughout the early 1940s, SH-47 underwent a period of expansion. The first extension of the highway came on June 20, 1940, when it was extended west to end at US-283 in Roll. SH-47 was extended east to Thomas via US-183 on May 31, 1944. The final extension occurred on October 1, 1945, when the highway was extended south down US-283 to Cheyenne, then west to the Texas state line. SH-33 and SH-47 swapped places west of US-283 on July 9, 1956; SH-47 proceeded due west of Roll to the Texas state line, while SH-33 passed through Cheyenne and turned toward the west south of there.
