The Russian Defence Ministry said the attack was conducted by four jets, including two A-10 (a single-seat aircraft operated solely by the U.S. military) and two F-16 close air support and ground attack aircraft and the U.S. Central Command stated that the attack was carried out by American, British, Danish, and Australian warplanes.
