I'll Give a Million () is a 1935 Italian comedy film directed by Mario Camerini and starring Vittorio De Sica. It is based on the first screenplay by Cesare Zavattini which tells the story of a disillusioned millionaire who, tired of the attempts of greedy friends and relatives to sponge off of him, becomes a bum in order to find a decent human being. It was remade in 1938, again titled I'll Give a Million and starring Warner Baxter as the millionaire. It was shot at the Cines Studios in Rome.

The film differs from the novel in several substantial ways. It is shown in a flashback that Seo interrupted her just before she was about to kiss Takehito while he was napping, and possibly had interrupted at other times too which would explain why she despises him. However, because he was Takehito's friend and had taught her household skills (such as cooking delicious food), she tolerates him and allows him to visit, eat free meals and sponge off supplies. Minaka hasn't tried to get her winged due to honoring a last request by Takehito (also, he might be too scared to trifle with her or Izumo Inn for fear of her wrath).

In 1938, handsome, irresponsible playboy Johnnie Aysgarth (Cary Grant) meets dowdy Lina McLaidlaw (Joan Fontaine) on a train in England and charms her into eloping despite the strong disapproval of her wealthy father, General McLaidlaw (Sir Cedric Hardwicke). Gradually, Lina learns that Johnnie has continued to gamble wildly, despite promising to quit, and that to pay a gambling debt, he sold two antique chairs (family heirlooms) that her father had given her as a wedding present.
