"Husan" is a bhangra dance song produced by British duo Bhangra Knights, which consisted of Jules Spinner and Jack Berry, and Dutch duo Husan, which consisted of Niels Zuiderhoek and Jeroen Den Hengst. The song sampled Indian singer Raja Mustaq. Additional music editing was done by Dutch producer Coen Berrier, former collaborator with Mason, and the lyric editor was Nasir Nizami. The original version of the single was produced by Husan for a Peugeot 206 car advertisement and was credited under the name "Bald N Spikey".

The Rhombic hexacontahedron is used within the logo for the Wolfram Alpha answer engine, and Wolfram Research, known as "Spikey". In Brazilian culture, handcrafted rhombic hexecontahedra used to be made from colored fabric and cardboard, called "giramundos" ("world turners" in Portuguese) or happiness stars, sewn by mothers and given as wedding gifts to their daughters. The custom got lost with the urbanization of Brazil, though the technique for producing the handicrafts was still taught in Brazilian rural schools up until the first half of the twentieth century.

Hadoke has performed as part of Robin Ince's Book Club on several occasions, including at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Hadoke won the inaugural Les Dawson Award for Services To Comedy at the 2003 Manchester Comedy Festival (beating a shortlist including Peter Kay, Johnny Vegas, Caroline Aherne, Dave Spikey and Ken Dodd). Hadoke is also the Resident Compere at the Limelight Comedy Club (Previously the Ribbed Comedy Club) at the Limelight Club on Hightown in Crewe, Cheshire. He was also the compere at Ribbed 2 (Ribbed Squared) at Square One, Mill Street, Crewe.

It was claimed as the first volleyball league in the Philippines for the LGBTs. Team Circle led by Jolas Lopez, beat Braganza team, in 4 sets, to claimed the inaugural title of the QCPVC. On June 2016, the PSL, together with the LVPI, conducted a 5-day seminar for local setters spearheaded by former South Korean men's national volleyball team head coach Kim Keung Un held at the LVPI Volleyball Center in the Arellano University campus, Manila. During the 2016 PSL All-Filipino Conference, the league introduced its mascot named "Spikey".

Quill & Quire, In 1977, Acorn introduced the Jackpine sonnet, a form designed to be as irregular and spikey (and Canadian) as a jack pine tree, but with internal structure and integrity. Without a fixed number of lines and with varied line lengths, the Jackpine sonnet depends on interweaving internal rhymes, assonance and occasional end-rhymes. Chain Letters is a British television game show produced by Tyne Tees and Barry & Enright Productions. The show was filmed at their City Road studios in Newcastle Upon Tyne and first broadcast on ITV in the United Kingdom from 7 September 1987 to 6 July 1990, then again from 2 January 1995 to 25 April 1997. Three contestants competed to win money by changing letters in words to form new words. Its original host was Jeremy Beadle, followed by Andrew O'Connor, Allan Stewart, Ted Robbins, Vince Henderson and Dave Spikey.

The show is presented live and centers on various entertainment acts by -often unknown- performers. Each act performs in a head to head showdown with celebrity judges, Dave Spikey, Max Clifford and Chuck Harris and an 'armchair panel' of 101 viewers at home deciding which was best. The winners went through to the final later in the evening, where a public vote decides who would win the weekly £10,000 prize. Winners of the four shows include the Skating Aratas, Red Hot Chilli Pipers and British boy vocal group Libera.

The Texas horned lizard (Phrynosoma cornutum) is one of about 14 North American species of spikey-bodied reptiles called horned lizards, all belonging the genus Phrynosoma. Phoenix Nights is a British sitcom about The Phoenix Club, a working men's club in the northern English town of Bolton, Greater Manchester. The show is a spin-off from the "In the Club" episode of the spoof documentary series That Peter Kay Thing, and in turn was followed by the spin-off Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere. It was produced by Goodnight Vienna Productions and Ovation Entertainments, and broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK. The show was written by Neil Fitzmaurice, Peter Kay and Dave Spikey. All three writers star in the show, with Kay also directing in the second series.

Season 1 winner Gvajardo in their royal look for the finale Season 1 of Love For The Arts was officially announced via Trinity The Tuck's Instagram on July 26, 2020. The show first aired on August 4th 2020 on her Twitch channel. The performers went through an audition process in which a certain group of performers then were put through to the semi-final in which the public would vote the 10 performers to enter the competition. Originally 10 performers were casted as shown in the promo but Spikey Van Dykey was announced to have quit the show at the start of Episode 1 due to personal reasons.

In September 2006, Kay revealed on BBC Radio 1 that a third series of Phoenix Nights has been written, but it is unknown when the series will be filmed. On 8 May 2007, another announcement by Kay was made promising another series will be made. However Dave Spikey, in interviews with The Sentinel and the Croydon Guardian in late 2009, claimed that neither he nor fellow co-writer Neil Fitzmaurice were aware of any plans to bring back the series. In a recent interview with Peter Kay he stated that he had written a third series of Phoenix Nights and had even written a screenplay for it.

Connolly was performing as Barbara Nice at the Palace nightclub in Levenshulme in 1997 when spotted by Peter Kay at the finals of the Manchester Evening News New Act of the Year and went on to appear in several of his television shows. Despite the reissue objective, the label released two one-riddim albums. The first was Tree of Satta (2003) which utilised the original "Satta Massagana" riddim featuring a mixture of new and vintage voicings over the riddim along with the original version of the song by The Abyssinians. The second, Fisherman Style (2006), utilised The Congos' "Fisherman" riddim and featured new material from a variety of singers including Horace Andy, U Roy, Big Youth, Luciano, Tony Tuff and Dillinger. In 2005, it was announced that programme creator Andrew Wood had signed a contract with Granada Media for Granada to produce a one-hour long celebrity special Bullseye show to be hosted by Ant & Dec. This special was part of Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon, in turn part of ITV's 50th anniversary celebrations, and was aired on ITV on 22 October 2005. Vernon Kay and Coronation Street star William Roache were the contestants, accompanied by professional darts players Eric Bristow and Andy Fordham, while Tony Green reprised his role as co-host. Subsequently, Granada decided that a new series of Bullseye would be produced early the following year, on Challenge and that the show was to be hosted by comedian Dave Spikey.

In Season 10 it is revealed that Wash essentially replaces Church on the Blue Team to remain incognito, and throughout the season he is loyal to Carolina despite not agreeing with most of her methods, eventually coming to her rescue on the Director's base alongside the Reds and Blues. In Chapter 6, Wash was shown without his helmet, however only the back of his head was shown, revealing that he has spikey blonde hair. In Season 11, Wash assumes command of Blue Team as they try living stranded following a shipwreck. In 2001, she appeared in the short film Shadowscan, directed by Tinge Krishnan, which won a Bafta Award; and, in 2004, Gulati was nominated for a Manchester Evening News theatre award for her work in the play Dancing Within Walls, which was staged at the Contact Theatre in Manchester. Gulati has also appeared on the TV quiz shows Call My Bluff, Have I Got News for You, The Weakest Link, Russian Roulette and as Diana Ross in Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes. In early 2006, Gulati took part in the Reality TV series Soapstar Superstar. After Gulati left Coronation Street for the first time in 2006, she played Nisha Clayton, a recurring role in the final series of Where the Heart Is, and made appearances in New Street Law and the one-off comedy drama Magnolia, which was written by Dave Spikey for BBC's Comedy Playhouse series. In October 2006, Gulati appeared at the Royal Albert Hall as part of a short skit featured in The Secret Policeman's Ball.
