Loöq Records is a record label founded by electronic music producers and DJs Jondi & Spesh in 1998. Like, Jondi & Spesh, Loöq is based in San Francisco, California. They have featured over 70 releases from such artists as Momu and Digital Witchcraft.

Nicky Spesh is a rapper from North London, England. A member of the emerging British hip hop and Grime scene alongside the likes of Sway, Nicky Spesh first became recognised when he freestyled over DJ Kool Herc's set at The Scala in London in 2002. Spesh also promoted and performed at his own club nights 'GMBeats present GMBeats' at the Bug Bar, in Brixton and WKD in Camden with his eponymous pirate radio crew.

Jondi & Spesh is an American, San Francisco-based dance music production and DJ duo, composed of J.D. Moyer (Jondi) and Stephen Kay (Spesh). They have founded their own record label, Loöq Records, and are the hosts of Qoöl, a weekly progressive dance music "happy hour" in San Francisco.

Momu is an electronic music producer duo of John David Moyer (of Jondi & Spesh fame) and Mark Musselman. The pair began making music together after meeting at Qoöl, a party organized by Moyer. They have released records on labels such as Loöq Records and Bedrock Breaks. Additionally, they have had singles featured in the Global Underground series.

The cost of specification, the possibility of getting a credit for the procedure, and other conditions depend on the planet's demand in the requested profession. Specs are genetically compatible with naturals, as the former retain their non-modified genotype, and specified genes are only passed on if both parents possess them; however, the latter case still remains a choice on the parents' part. This allows the retention of specification without the help of geneticists (but only if the speshes wish for their children to have the same specification) but also allows the return to the original genotype in just one generation. Even during early childhood, a future spesh develops brilliant abilities and a great interest in his or her future profession.

A new generation of artists emerged following the turn of the century, including Jehst, Skinnyman, Nicky Spesh, Foreign Beggars and Usmaan. At the same time, a new style of electronic music emerged in the early 2000s, derivative of UK garage and jungle, with influences from dancehall, drum and bass and hip hop; this new genre was dubbed "grime" (sometimes called eskibeat or sublow) and effectively superseded UK hip hop in both popularity and the mainstream conscious. Grime is generally considered to be distinct from hip-hop due to its roots primarily being genres such as UK garage and jungle. In 2001, Roots Manuva claimed that British hip hop "is more healthy" than American hip-hop, and is about making the music than is it about exploiting wealth or hitting it rich.
