Bugs then jabs a needle in Crusher's backside, causing him to fly screaming through the audience. Crusher then comes charging back, but Bugs opens a safe door, letting Crusher run through it and bounce off the ring ropes before being slung back into the now closed door. A now disoriented Crusher is able to be pinned. When the match ends and Bugs is declared the new champion, Crusher snaps out of it.

The arrow that hit Conan on the arm knocks him out. When he regains consciousness, he is nearly eaten by the Frost Giant Atali who had bad nightmares about him only to be saved by Venom. Conan snaps out of it and finds that he is still in Mexico City as a giant plant is ravaging it. Venom gives him an uprooted parking meter which Conan improvises as a cudgel where they fight the Cotati.

When they visit Coach Norton in jail (who accidentally killed a referee in a fit of rage) his advice is that they should just kill her. The pair attempt to shoot Judith, but end up deciding against it. Sandy's feelings for Darren are reawakened, but the pair's attempted date is ruined by Darren's preoccupation with Judith. Sandy, disheartened, returns to the convent, but Darren snaps out of it and runs the 30 miles there to win her back.

To counteract this, Carrie secretly videotapes John bragging to his friends in the locker room, saying he'll be scoring "more than baskets" at the upcoming away game. Upon seeing John's chauvinistic behavior, Kate snaps out of it and recommits to the plan. The girls try another plan to embarrass John at a hotel on the night of the away game. Kate seduces John on a video-chat, instructing him to put on a lacy thong and climb out of his room and into hers.

With his hand broken, Ken asks Ryu to take his place in the tournament's finale against Bison. Ryu agrees, and after an emotional battle witnessed by many, including notable Street Fighters and several of the people who have been affected by Shadaloo over the years, Ryu emerges victorious.

During season 9, Ian is still having episodes of being a fanatic but when taking his medication he snaps out of it. He talks with Terry about prison and after that he nearly flees but decides against it, a talk with Fiona gets him to make a better choice. Ian confesses to being bi-polar and is sent to two years in prison, where he finds that Mickey is his new cellmate and the reunited lovers resume their relationship. In the finale he's visited by Fiona who tells of what's going on in his absence.

Amanda Lynn (Days' interest in the video) sees she has gotten the second lead, and runs to her boyfriend, who ignores her. Days and Lynn begin to practice together, and during rehearsal, she falls, and gets up in slow motion with her hair blowing in the wind, when Dave realizes that's what he is seeing, he snaps out of it and continues to rehearse. Opening night comes around, and Lynn's boyfriend is in the stands, looking disinterested in the play.

Fortress snaps out of it to find himself on a roof in Chicago, before he can get his bearings, he sees Overt- Kill down in the street causing mass destruction while Youngblood arrive on the scene to face down Overt-Kill.

It turns out that this was only Peter's imagination as he snaps out of it when Joe starts talking to him; Peter answers that he was having a Scrubs fantasy moment. Quagmire responds to Peter's moment by stating that Scrubs is the best show people are not watching. Cleveland replies that he hates shows that leave the story for a gag or joke, referring to the numerous cutaways Scrubs and Family Guy contain. While in the hospital Peter realizes that Mr. Pewterschmidt and Dr. Hartman have a similar voice, then Mr. Pewterschmidt comes into the room and they both start talking about how their voices sound alike; this is a reference to the show's creator Seth MacFarlane as he voices both characters.

While driving to the college, Daryl talks to Michonne about hunting for The Governor when they suddenly hear a voice over the car radio repeating the words "Sanctuary... those who arrive...survive..." A distracted Daryl drives into a horde of walkers, forcing the group to leave their vehicle, except for a morose Tyreese. Tyreese eventually snaps out of it, but he is overwhelmed by the walkers, forcing the remaining three to leave him. However, he miraculously survives the swarm and regroups with the others. After Rick rescues Carol, who had recklessly gone out of the prison to clean the pump on her own, from walkers, Rick tells Carol that he has noticed how far she is willing to go to protect the group of survivors.

Hiro hides him in a closet and later that night frees Mohinder, but the two are forced to wheel Ando out in a wheelchair as he's still in a daze. As the three are found by orderlies, Ando snaps out of it and uses his powers to blast open a door leading out, creating enough of a distraction that Mohinder is able to overpower the orderlies and allow the three to escape. Running through a swamp chased by orderlies and dogs, the three are forced to hide behind a tree and Mohinder suggests Ando use his power like electro-shock therapy to restore Hiro's mind so he can teleport them away. Ando is reluctant as his future self killed Hiro using that power, but Mohinder convinces him to try.
