With Dr. Sin, Ivan played at many rock festivals, such as Hollywood Rock, Phillips Monsters of Rock, M2000 Summer Concerts, Skol Rock and Live n' Louder. In 2007, Dr. Sin released the cd Bravo (Century Media/Dynamo Records), that is doing success in Brazil. The new CD (Bravo) will be released worldwide soon.

VIP Yakovlev Yak-40 Skol Airlines is a Russian charter operator providing regular passenger flights and cargo charters across Eastern and Western Siberia; its clients include Alrosa and Gazprom amongst others. Skol Veythrin Karenza (SVK), set up by Movyans Skolyow Meythrin in 2013, is the first full-time Cornish language nursery school with Ofsted registered status. The premiere took place on May 15, 1987, at the New York State Theater, Lincoln Center. Les Gentilhommes was subtitled "Skol, Stanley!" at its premiere and is dedicated to the late Stanley Williams, co-chairman of faculty at the School of American Ballet, who taught Martins at the Royal Danish Ballet school.

None of these breweries remain. In 1967 Oranjeboom was taken over by UK company Allied Breweries, which made an important acquisition in 1968 when it bought the brewery De Drie Hoefijzers in Breda, a town with a long history of beer brewing. The Breda brewery took on the name Oranjeboom. In 1973, the brand Oranjeboom was replaced by Skol, which was deemed to be a more attractive name for the European market, but it was a failure, and the brand name Oranjeboom was reintroduced in 1982.

Pont-Aven is mainly known because of the group of artists who flocked round Émile Bernard and Paul Gauguin, and who were joined in 1888 by Paul Sérusier. They were collectively known as "Pont-Aven School" (French: École de Pont-Aven, Breton: Skol Pont- Aven). Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art (PASCA) is an international fine arts program located in the historic artists' colony of Pont-Aven (Brittany, France). As early as 1940 some joined Sao Breiz, the Breton wing of the Free French. This included several members of the Union Régionaliste Bretonne (Breton Regionalist Union) and the Ar brezoneg er skol association, founded before the war by Yann Fouéré. M. de Cadenet, a member of the latter group, and some of his associates wrote a draft statute, presented to General Charles de Gaulle which would have given Brittany a number of political freedoms after the return of peace. In 2015, Vintage Culture appeared in #118 in the Top DJs list of British magazine DJ MAG and #2 on the list of best Brazilian DJs House Mag. Barton Brands of Kentucky logo Barton Brands, Ltd. was a company that produced a variety of distilled beverages and liqueurs and is now part of the Sazerac Company, which is headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana, and has its principal offices in Louisville, Kentucky. The Barton distillery, currently known as the Barton 1792 distillery, was originally established in 1879, and is located in Bardstown, Kentucky. Some of Barton's better-known brands and products have included the 1792 Bourbon, Kentucky Tavern, and Very Old Barton bourbons; Fleischmann's, Skol and Wave Vodkas; the 99 line of schnapps (99 Apples, 99 Bananas, etc.); Calypso and Barton rums; Capitan, El Toro and Montezuma tequilas and Mr. Boston and Fleischmann's gins.

Beginning in the late 1990s/early 2000s Altenhofen began to dedicate herself to television; one of her earliest credits, with 19 years old, was a guest appearance on the music video of the song "Zoio D Lula", by famous alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr.. She also appeared in ads by Skol, and working for Rede Bandeirantes has hosted the shows Supertécnico and Band Esporte Clube after leaving SporTV, where she hosted Rolé. In 2001 and again in 2006 she posed for Playboy Brasil, and also was an assistant and reporter for Domingão do Faustão. In 2013 she made a guest appearance on Rede Globo's telenovela Amor à Vida. In 2016 she hosted and was a reporter for the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics, invited by SBT.

Still on the European scene, MindFlow played at the Metal Heart Festival in Norway, at the Cambridge Rock Festival in England and performed at a show in Belgium, Spirit of 66. In the United States alone, they have performed in 10 more shows, including the Monsters of Rock; the Texas Mad Festival; and the Blastzone Festival. In Brazil, the group has appeared all over the country, at such events as the Live'N'Louder Rock Fest 2006, at the Skol Area, Anhembi, São Paulo - Latin America's biggest rock festival - and have already played in the stages of some Brazilian venues such as the Directv Music Hall (now the Citibank Music Hall), the Via Funchal and the Victoria Hall. Their third album Destructive Device was produced by Ben Grosse (Marilyn Mason, Slipknot, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust) and was recorded and mixed both in Brazil and Los Angeles.

After the merger between Anheuser Busch Inbev and SABMiller, the new Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV company owns over 200 beer brands including Budweiser and Bud Light, Corona, Stella Artois, Beck's, Leffe, Hoegaarden, Skol, Brahma, Antarctica, Quilmes, Victoria, Modelo Especial, Michelob Ultra, Harbin, Sedrin, Klinskoye, Sibirskaya Korona, Chernigivske, Cass and Jupiler.

In 2000, Gaudi took a trip to Africa and spent some time in Burkina Faso experiencing the lifestyle and culture of the indigenous communities, there he recorded a number of African musicians for his next album Bass, Sweat & Tears. Year 2000 also saw the beginning of the four years collaboration with world-music exponent DJ Pathaan, the duo named themselves 'Orchestral World Groove' and got residencies at prestigious London venues such as Cargo, Fabric, Dogstar, Plan B and Redstar. The duo released tracks on many compilations worldwide and toured internationally, performing at high-profile venues and festivals such as Roskilde in Denmark, Skol Beat in Brazil, The Big Chill and Gatecrasher in England. 2003 started with Gaudi producing a version of the song The man who sold the world (written by David Bowie) for the band Simple Minds, and working on Jim Kerr's single Innerworld, released with the moniker ‘Pascal Life’. The same year, Gaudi also remixed Bob Marley’s classic Soul Shakedown Party.

Miller was a model, acquaintance and/or companion of many luminaries of the gay social scene of New York City in the 1940s: W. H. Auden, Paul Cadmus, Jean Cocteau, Noël Coward, George Cukor, Jean Genet, George Gallowhur, George Hoyningen-Huene, Christopher Isherwood, Alfred Kinsey (of whom he was a lover), Lincoln Kirstein, Dorothy Parker, Bernard Perlin ("Bill Miller was ga-ga-gorgeous"), George Platt Lynes (of whom he was a lover), Ralph Pomeroy ("Bill would go to a gallery and all the women and all the men would faint!"), W. Somerset Maugham, Jonathan Tichenor, Tom Tryon, Gore Vidal, Sam Wagstaff, Glenway Wescott and Monroe Wheeler (of whom he was a lover), Philip Wheelwright. At one time, Miller was in a relationship with Otis Bigelow. Before meeting Miller, Bigelow was in a relationship with a businessman, George Gallowhur, president of Skol Company; Bigelow left Gallowhur but he had to go back to college, at the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps program at Hamilton: while Bigelow was there, Miller started a relationship with Gallowhur.

In March 2018, the NFL instituted a new rule that eliminated the requirement to attempt an extra point or two-point conversion following a game-ending touchdown that gives a team the victory; however, the try is still required if the non-timed play could affect the game's outcome.
