It was nominated for Song of the Year and Best Rap Single at The Headies 2013. The music video for "Durosoke" was directed by Clarence Peters and released exclusively on the Star Music platform. The album's second single "Turn Up" was released on July 4, 2013.
A player may only hit during their turn. A player may hit any combination of their own Phase and other player's Phases, and may hit with as many cards as can be played from the player's hand on a single turn. Players are not allowed to replace a wild card in a Phase with the card from their hand matching the card the Wild stands for. Replacing Wild Cards is a possible Variant Rule.
In the spring of 2016 the band officially announced their reunion, and has already started to write new material. In 2017, they released their single "Turn Your Love Around". In October 2019, Sylver announced their "Sylver Lining Tour 2020" with full live-band to celebrate their 20-year anniversary, which will kick-off in Concertzaal Casino in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium on 20 March 2020 .
Numbers are entered using slides (one slide per digit) on the side of the device. The revolution counter and result counter reside around the shiftable carriage, at the top of the machine. A single turn of the crank adds the input number to the result counter, at any carriage position, and increments the corresponding digit of the revolution counter. Pulling the crank upwards slightly before turning performs a subtraction instead of an addition.
Jason Ankeny (Allmusic) felt the album was "showcasing a more intimate, roots-flavored dimension of his songwriting". All the songs were written by Mitchell, although "The Hermit" was co-written with Luke Steele from The Sleepy Jackson. Luke's sister Katy Steele from Little Birdy provided backing vocals for the album. The first single from the album, "Friday Come Five", was released 18 August 2003, with the second single, "Turn" released later in the year.
The music video directed by Patric Ullaeus premiered on the band's official MySpace page on July 7, 2010. On August 6, 2010, the single was made available for purchase and download on iTunes. The music video was not released until the end of September because of an accident while shooting the video causing Karin Axelsson a laceration as well as a brain concussion.
The Very Best of Johnny Hates Jazz is Johnny Hates Jazz’s first of two compilation albums. Released in May 1993, the majority of the album concentrates on songs from the band’s debut album, although the b-sides from several of the major singles on that album, the non-album single "Turn the Tide," and a few songs from the band’s lesser known second album Tall Stories, are included on the compilation as well.
They later opened for artists such as Madeon and The Chainsmokers. The duo embarked on their own tour on October 17, 2015, starting in Chicago. In December 2016, Louis The Child joined force with Pell and created the band Pellican Child, whose first single, "Turn Me Down", was released ahead of a six-track EP due for early 2017. Louis The Child was the opening act for the European leg of the Shelter Live Tour.
They also played at the Tiree Music Festival in July 2012. During 2012 the band agreed to act as patrons for a UK- based children's charity called 'Time Is Precious'. In November 2012 they performed a gig in Frome, Somerset with all proceeds going to the charity, which helps ill children and their families. In 2013, Toploader released a new single "Turn It Around", co-written with Eg White and produced by Andrew Green.
Additionally, individual video teasers of the members were released across different platforms. Both the album's physical release and the music video of its lead single "Turn Back Time" were released with a delay due to the removal of potential issues with the outfits used in its promotional visual content. Upon its release, WayV earned their first top-three entry on Tencent Music's UNI Chart (previously known as Yo! Bang) and the Gaon Album Chart.
Chilton later had a significant songwriting role in the cult power pop band Big Star, and after the dissolution of the group continued to develop his career as a solo artist. The Letter/Neon Rainbow was re-released on CD in 2000 on the Sundazed label (SC 6158) with four additional tracks. These included the mono single versions of "The Letter" and "Neon Rainbow"; the 1969 single "Turn on a Dream"; and the previously unreleased track "Georgia Farm Boy".
An induction generator is used to produce high frequency current in the range of 2-10 Mhz. The range used is regulated by the FCC to avoid interference with broadcast signals. An induction coil converts the high frequency current from the induction generator into the necessary alternating magnetic field. A single turn coil may be used when space is limited, however multiturn coil designs are more common due to their generation of a stronger and deeper penetrating magnetic field.
The 1990s saw an increase in bands from Sussex including Keane, The Feeling, Toploader and Clearlake. Bob Stanley helped form London-based indie dance-pop band Saint Etienne, which had some success in the 1990s including a Mercury award nomination for their 1991 album Foxbase Alpha. Brighton-based Beats International had a number one single in 1990 with "Dub Be Good to Me". Phats & Small also achieved some success in dance music, particularly with their 1999 single "Turn Around".
It was remixed by South African producers DJ Qness and DJ Mujava, who brought in a fusion of pop along with their traditional South African Kwaito music. Kele features on Sub Focus' single "Turn It Around" from his second studio album Torus. The song was released on 22 September 2013. On 23 July 2014, Kele announced his second solo album, entitled Trick, to be released on his own label Lilac Records via Kobalt Label Services on 13 October 2014.
For single-turn potentiometers, this wiper typically travels just under one revolution around the contact. The only point of ingress for contamination is the narrow space between the shaft and the housing it rotates in. Another type is the linear slider potentiometer, which has a wiper which slides along a linear element instead of rotating. Contamination can potentially enter anywhere along the slot the slider moves in, making effective sealing more difficult and compromising long-term reliability.
Preble, p. 146. The gearing arrangement proved to be very noisy, and the ship's stern was subject to considerable vibration in operation. Smith planned to reduce the noise by the use of spiral gears, but it is unclear whether this modification was ever carried out. The propeller itself was of sheet iron, in diameter and about long, and consisted of a full 360° screw, single threaded and of a single turn in keeping with Smith's revised 1836 patent.
These units have numbers, while the player is given a set of numbers at the start of each turn. The player must perform mathematical equations to make their set of numbers equal the numbers on the cards, at which time they can deploy that particular card. The player receives bonuses if they are able to use the entire set of numbers in a single turn, which increase for each turn they can use all the numbers.
Jumping involves capturing the other player's pieces by moving two spaces in the same direction, jumping over the opponent's piece in the intermediate square. Multiple opposing pieces may be captured in a single turn provided this is done by successive jumps made by a single piece. Pieces must jump into an unoccupied square, and jumping enemy pieces is mandatory in all circumstances (including each successive jump). If multiple opportunities are available, players may choose which piece to jump with.
The song was recorded at the Cutting Records studio in New York City. It was released as a single in March 1994 by the Cutting Records. It was re-released into the 1997 single "Turn Me Out (Turn to Sugar)". The album was initially released by Redline Records and was subsequently re-released on 28 August 2006 by EMI Records following the success of his second Bob Evans album Suburban Songbook (2006).
"Turn da Lights Off" is a song by American singer Tweet from her second studio album, It's Me Again (2005). It features guest vocals from American rapper Missy Elliott, who co-wrote and co-produced the song with Kwamé. The song was released on October 5, 2004, as the album's lead single. "Turn da Lights Off" contains a sample of Nat King Cole's "Lost April" and portions of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's "If This World Were Mine".
The music video teaser for "Turn Back Time" was uploaded on the group's official Youtube channel on June 8, 2020. Due to issues regarding their outfits, the album was released digitally as scheduled on June 9, while the release of the physical album was delayed to June 18. The music video for the lead single "Turn Back Time" was eventually released on June 10. The group also released a Korean version of "Turn Back Time" digitally on June 18.
There is no upper limit in number of actions a player can take per turn. For example, a player may decide to make 2 melds, then lay off 1 card to an existing run and lay off 2 cards to an existing set, all in a single turn. In each game, a player must first do a meld, before he/she can do any lay-offs. The first meld in a game is called a "passport".
Fans who preordered the album received a download of the single as well as the second single "Turn So Cold" starting April 13, 2010. According to Blabbermouth.net, Drowning Pool's self-titled album sold 12,000 copies in its first week, earning it the #35 spot on the Billboard 200, up from the #64 reached by Full Circle in 2007. Three singles, "Feel Like I Do", "Turn So Cold" and "Let The Sin Begin" were released to promote the album.
GTBank's Annual Year End Concert in December 2014 On 31 January 2014, Savage released the Spellz-produced "Love in Yellow" in celebration of Valentine's Day. The song has elements of retro R&B; and funk. Savage was featured on Reekado Banks's 2014 single "Turn It Up", which was produced by Don Jazzy. In core memory, the wires pass once through any given core--they are single-turn devices. The properties of materials used for memory cores are dramatically different from those used in power transformers. The magnetic material for a core memory requires a high degree of magnetic remanence, the ability to stay highly magnetized, and a low coercivity so that less energy is required to change the magnetization direction. The core can take two states, encoding one bit.
Park is inspired by everything when writing songs: "just listening to good songs, seeing a good live performance, having good conversations with people. Just everyday life". Some songs Park wrote are influenced by songs from other artists, for example, his song "Turn Off Your Phone" (Korean: ; Revised Romanization: Jeonhwagireur Kkeonwa) from his album New Breed was inspired by Leessang's hit single "Turn Off the TV ..." (Korean: ; Revised Romanization: TV Reurkkeotne) from their 7th album Asura Balbalta.
Reekado Banks premiered the single "Turn It Up" on 21 February 2014, which coincided with the day he signed with Mavin Records. The song features Tiwa Savage and was released as his first official single under Mavin Records. Reekado Banks was featured on the critically acclaimed song "Dorobucci", alongside Don Jazzy, Korede Bello, Tiwa Savage, Di'Ja, Dr SID and D'Prince. Reekado Banks also worked with some of the aforementioned artists to release three collaborative singles: "Adaobi", "Arise" and "Looku Looku".
Another music premiere was Coldplay's song "Fix You", which debuted on May 12, 2005 in the final scene of the episode in which characters find out Caleb had a fatal heart attack. Imogen Heap, a former member of Frou Frou, had her new single debut on the show on May 19, 2005 - "Hide and Seek" featured twice in the episode "The Dearly Beloved". The single "Turn on Me" from band The Shins was first played in "The French Connection" on January 11, 2007.
The double helix is an important tertiary structure in nucleic acid molecules which is intimately connected with the molecule's secondary structure. A double helix is formed by regions of many consecutive base pairs. The nucleic acid double helix is a spiral polymer, usually right-handed, containing two nucleotide strands which base pair together. A single turn of the helix constitutes about ten nucleotides, and contains a major groove and minor groove, the major groove being wider than the minor groove.
On March 3, Shota Nakao announced that he would be suspending his activities due to stomach cancer to receive treatment. From April 14 to June 10, the group launched their second Musha shugyō, entitled "Yume-sha shugyō FANTASTIC 9". On May 1, it was announced that Ballistik Boyz would be the opening act of the events starting from May 12. On May 4, the group featured on Exile's digital single "Turn Back Time," which was dedicated to Shota and the group's first release.
Climax boiler, casing removed The large industrial boiler known as the Climax was one of the first of this overall type. It was invented by Thomas F. Morrin and Walter W. Scott of New Jersey and was patented in 1884. This was her second release on her own label, Diva Down Records, and became available April 4, 2017. Sims planned tour dates in the US and UK to support the release of "Turn It Up" in 2017.
The only single, "Turn the Beat Around", released in late 1993, did not achieve success. Due to the limited success of the album, Lil Suzy left her label and eventually became president of her own record label, Empress Records. In April 1995, Lil released her third album, Life Goes On. This album is significant for showing a new musical style geared more for Eurodance. It contains four singles, with the first being "Promise Me", which reached No. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Thornalley told the Newcastle Evening Chronicle in 1989: "I dumped them right in it the first time and I was not expecting to be invited back, but it's like coming full circle. I'm doing something I should have been doing five years ago." In addition to his vocal abilities, Thornalley was able to fulfill Datchler's role as the band's songwriter. The new line-up's first release was the single "Turn the Tide", which reached No. 84 in the UK in late 1989.
The single "Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out" was a minor hit on the UK Singles Chart when released in 1993. There was renewed interest in the track after TV exposure in the 1995 Levi's jeans television advert "Taxi" directed by Baillie Walsh. The band released two albums: Drive-Thru Booty in 1994 and More of Everything for Everybody in 1996. The debut album featured the hit singles "Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out" and "Rush", released on 4th and Broadway.
If all trapezoids are not negotiated in succession in a single turn, the turn is forfeit and the process must start again on the player's next turn by first flicking for the "13" square. If the trapezoids are successfully negotiated, the player is deemed to be a 'killer'. In another variation of the game, players must complete the circuit of numbers from "1" to "13", then backwards back to "1", before making the attempt to become a killer. This version consequently takes more time to play.
Atkinson produced three different designs that had a short compression stroke and a longer expansion stroke. The first Atkinson-cycle engine, the differential engine, used opposed pistons. The second and best-known design was the cycle engine, which used an over-center arm to create four piston strokes in one crankshaft revolution. The reciprocating engine had the intake, compression, power, and exhaust strokes of the four-stroke cycle in a single turn of the crankshaft, and was designed to avoid infringing certain patents covering Otto-cycle engines.
One began his career as part of the hip hop duo 1Punch with Samuel under a collaboration between the labels D-Business Entertainment and Brave Entertainment on January 23, 2015. They debuted with the album The Anthem with lead single "Turn Me Back". On September 21, YGE had scouted and signed an exclusive contract with One, following his appearance in the fourth series of Show Me the Money. He was a member of "Team Zipal" under producers Zico and Paloalto until his elimination in the sixth episode.
Often the movement rules are altered by changing the velocity of the evaders. This velocity is the maximum number of edges that an evader can move along in a single turn. In the example above, the evaders have a velocity of one. At the other extreme is the concept of infinite velocity, which allows an evader to move to any node in the graph so long as there is a path between its original and final positions that contains no nodes occupied by a pursuer.
In September 1837, he took his small vessel (now fitted with an iron propeller of a single turn) to sea, steaming from Blackwall, London to Hythe, Kent, with stops at Ramsgate, Dover and Folkestone. On the way back to London on the 25th, Smith's craft was observed making headway in stormy seas by officers of the Royal Navy. The Admiralty's interest in the technology was revived, and Smith was encouraged to build a full size ship to more conclusively demonstrate the technology's effectiveness.Bourne, p. 85.
American rapper Flo Rida is a featured artist in Mauboy's debut single, "Running Back." In September 2007, Mauboy became a member of all-girl pop group Young Divas, replacing one of the group's original members, Ricki-Lee Coulter, who had left to resume her solo career. Mauboy's management saw the group as a "perfect learning curve" about all that was positive and negative in the music industry. Together, they released their second studio album, New Attitude in November, and the album's lead single, "Turn Me Loose".
The game, which started in 2003 and ended in 2005, was discontinued for various reasons. One of the reasons was that each subsequent expansion of cards greatly overpowered the previous sets (see power creep). Cards in later sets had effects and power values which would have been considered overly powerful in the beginning. There were also cards that distorted the game and, with the right deck compilation, allowed you to win in a single turn without even allowing your opponent to have a turn.
Soldering gun Soldering gun's parts Spool of solder. 1.6mm. A soldering gun is an approximately pistol-shaped, electrically powered tool for soldering metals using tin-based solder to achieve a strong mechanical bond with good electrical contact. The tool has a trigger-style switch so it can be easily operated with one hand. The body of the tool contains a transformer with a primary winding connected to mains electricity when the trigger is pressed, and a single-turn secondary winding of thick copper with very low resistance.
In traverse hardening systems the work piece is passed through the induction coil progressively and a following quench spray or ring is used. Traverse hardening is used extensively in the production of shaft type components such as axle shafts, excavator bucket pins, steering components, power tool shafts and drive shafts. The component is fed through a ring type inductor which normally features a single turn. The width of the turn is dictated by the traverse speed, the available power and frequency of the generator.
Dash described "All the Way Turnt Up" as "new-age crunk": Soulja Boy, the song's guest, likened it to a stylistically exaggerated version of his own single "Turn My Swag On". "Show Out" contains an infectious chorus and was described by Amazon as a "flashy, soon-to-be club anthem". Typically, Dash exhibits a nasal, high-pitched delivery that frequently displays signs of being digitally altered and layered "as if there were 20 Dashes per track, whining and echoing as far as the ear can hear".
Kato started DJing at nightclubs in 2005 remixing for other artists and independently since 2008, at which time he also started writing and producing his own music. His breakthrough came with the commercial success of the single "Turn the Lights Off", released on 1 January 2010, receiving platinum status for selling 30,000 copies in early August 2010. The track, is a cover version of an earlier hit by DJ Jose from 2007. The track contains the vocals of Jon (full name Jon Nørgaard), a Danish Popstars contestant.
After achieving success writing for other artists, Austin began work on his full- length debut album Ocean Drive on So So Def/Virgin Records. His first single "Lil' More Love" was released on June 7, 2005. It was followed by the release of "Dope Fiend" on November 29 later that year. While the album's first two singles failed to achieve radio/chart success, the label released a third single "Turn It Up" on July 11, 2006 along with a Jadakiss-added version in November.
One point is scored for each time this total is exactly divisible by either 5 or 3. So if the play started double 6 it would score 4 points as 12/3 is exactly 4. If the next player played a 6-3 then the maximum is scored for a single turn of 15 for 8 points (5 for the 3s and 3 for the 5s). If the next player were to play 6-1 the total would be 4 and they would score no points.
Chris Brown was originally Way's first choice to sing the hook, but had respectfully turned down the offer. Way then tried to do it on his own with Auto-Tune but he found it unacceptable. It sold over 2 million digital copies in the United States, becoming his second song to reach the two million mark in downloads.Week Ending May 17, 2009: Three Days Is Plenty For Green Day Yahoo Music Blog (written by Paul Grein): Retrieved May 20, 2009 On January 26, 2009, Way released the third single "Turn My Swag On".

(2003) The Mayor's a Square: Live Music and Law and Order in Sydney, Newtown, NSW: Local Consumption Publications, p. 73.—which debuted at #22 in the Go-Set chart in late April and stayed in the national Top Ten until the end of May, peaking at #7 in the second week of May. "Sunshine Secret" / "But I Know", and another single, "Turn Down Day" charted in Melbourne. But in September 1967 any questions about his career future were dramatically stalled when he received his call-up notice for national service.
Uncrowned pieces (men) move one step diagonally forwards, and capture an opponent's piece by moving two consecutive steps in the same line, jumping over the piece on the first step. Multiple enemy pieces can be captured in a single turn provided this is done by successive jumps made by a single piece; the jumps do not need to be in the same line and may "zigzag" (change diagonal direction). In English draughts men can jump only forwards; in international draughts and Russian draughts men can jump both forwards and backwards.
A similar event was held in the North American version of the game for Christmas 2015. Each monster has its own HP, Attack, and Speed statistics. The player's three monsters' HP and their friend or helper's monsters' HP are combined for a total HP. Attack determines how much damage the player's monster does to enemy monsters and Speed determines how fast (how much distance) the monster travels in a single turn. These values are increased by fusing monsters together to gain experience, or using special stat-only increasing monsters.
By summer 2011 drummer Mark Heron had also joined the band, and they began working on their second album "...And So We Shall Never Part". The album was released on 4 April 2014. The single "Turn Around" was used as the backing music for the trailer for the fourth season of US television series Game of Thrones, while their single "Azan" was used on the trailer for the film Hercules and the video game Far Cry 3. Lately they have been touring Europe as guests of Sisters Of Mercy.
Demor Sikhosana wrote, produced and released her first local hit song 'Ngicelindoda' taken from a Demor produced full-length album rockstar in 2007. Demor orchestrated her collaboration with Black Coffee in the single "Turn Me On" which was released and licensed to German label Gogo Music in 2007, with remixes by producers like Ralf Gum; the song became a No. 1 single on Traxsource. In 2009 she collaborated with Black Coffee on the single "Superman". Later in 2017 Drake sampled the song on "Get it together", featuring Black Coffee and Jorja Smith.
But the leather gear—which resisted even the most ardent fans—provided them with their longest-wearing outfits in years, and Keays maintained that it saved them thousands of dollars. In April 1970, EMI released the group's most popular single, "Turn Up Your Radio", co-written by Keays and Ford, produced by Howard Gable, and engineered by Ern Rose. It was recorded at a late-night session and Keays later recounted that he was so drunk when he recorded his vocals that he had to be held up to the microphone.
Or players may leap over an adjacent man (friend or foe) and land on the vacant point immediately beyond. Multiple leaps are allowed in a single turn: a man may continue to leap in any direction as long as there are jumps to be made, and may stop jumping at any point (leaps are not compulsory). A jumped man is not captured (there is no capturing in Conspirateurs). After the drop phase is completed, one of the players shouts a warning that they have been discovered, and the conspirateurs scatter to hide in sanctuaries.
"Nobody But Me" (written and first recorded by The Isley Brothers in 1962) peaked at No. 8 in February 1968. The recording's two 31-fold repetitions of the word "no" fulfill Casey Kasem's "Book of Records" category of most repetitive word or phrase in a Hot 100 top 10 hit, besting the 26-fold repetition of "I know" in Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine". An album, Nobody But Me, followed. The Beinz' next single, "Turn On Your Love Light," peaked No. 80 but became a huge hit in Japan, where it peaked at No. 1.
"Sweet Love" was written by Chris Brown, Cory Marks, Greg Curtis, Jamal "Polow da Don" Jones, Jason "JP" Perry and Tommy Doyle Jr., while the production was handled by Polow da Don and Perry. The audio mixing was completed by Jaycen Joshua, with assistance by Trehy Harris. Curtis played keyboards on the song. On March 28, 2012, Brown announced via his official Twitter account that he would be releasing "Sweet Love" and "Till I Die" as the next two singles from Fortune, after the lead single "Turn Up the Music".
The recording was later released on a bootleg album, Killing Joke - Live At The Venue LP. In 1980, she met Sham 69 vocalist Jimmy Pursey who began to manage her musical career. That year she was signed to EMI/Zonophone records for a five-year recording contract. In 1981, Bane began collaborating with her then manager, Jimmy Pursey. The collaboration resulted in a new single, "Turn Me On Turn Me Off" which peaked in the UK Singles Chart at No. 37, and Bane subsequently appeared performing the single on Top of the Pops.
Subsequently, with their international breakthrough Mai Tai's popularity in the Netherlands started to decline. In 1986 their song Female Intuition became a Top 40 hit across Europe, and made Top 10 in Denmark. The follow-up single, Turn Your Love Around from the second album, 1 Touch 2 Much, went straight into the Top 10 of the Dutch Top 40. In 1987 Mai Tai released their modestly successful third album, Cool Is The Rule with the singles Bet That's What You Say and Fight Fire With Fire; were much less successful.
In the summer of 1969, Thompson's decidedly upbeat "Soul Deep" became the group's final US Top 40 entry, peaking at #18 on the Hot 100 in late August. The follow-up single, "Turn on a Dream", peaked at #58 on the Hot 100 and was a #29 hit in Canada. Cunningham left the Box Tops to return to school in August 1969 and was replaced by Harold Cloud on bass. Eventually the group's tolerance for the disrespect and fleecing they had endured as teen musicians from managers, lawyers, and promoters came to an end.
Battlegames Jan-Feb 2007 p26 Commanders can activate a single unit (or group of units) multiple times in a single turn, but each attempt is at an increasing penalty. This compels players to weigh carefully the risk and reward of each decision (e.g., should I move into firing position—which exposes my unit to fire if I fail the next activation roll—or should I wait in cover?). Combat is resolved with one or two dice rolls, but differs from Warmaster and Warmaster Ancients in that combat is most often ranged.
The second single, "Turn it On", released in the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Canada,The Definitive Online Level 42 Collectors Resource: Media peaked at #47 in the UK single charts. The third single, "Starchild", has been released in six countries beyond the United Kingdom (peak position: #57), including the United States of America,The Definitive Online Level 42 Collectors Resource: Media where it entered the Club Play Singles at #60. In 2001, it was re-released by the label Peppermint Jam Records in the United Kingdom and Germany.
The device is a mechanically spinning disk of any suitable material (metal, plastic, cardboard, etc.), with a series of equally-distanced circular holes of equal diameter drilled in it. The holes may also be square for greater precision. These holes are positioned to form a single-turn spiral starting from an external radial point of the disk and proceeding to the center of the disk. When the disk rotates, the holes trace circular ring patterns, with inner and outer diameter depending on each hole's position on the disk and thickness equal to each hole's diameter.
Each character's movement is determined by a roll of a die, with a roll from each player forming a single turn. Each turn is followed by a minigame in which characters compete for coins they can use to purchase items and stars. Mario Party 4 was met with positive reception, although there were several complaints regarding a lack of originality and slow pacing during games. It won the Family Game of the Year award at the Interactive Achievement Awards of 2003, and was followed by Mario Party 5 in 2003.
Music Intelligence Solutions, Inc., is using Hit Song Science as a basis for several contests done in partnership with organizations such as AllHipHop.com, Urban Latino and American Songwriter magazine, and claims to have predicted the commercial success of Norah Jones's debut album, Come Away with Me, (which won a Grammy for Best Album) and Ben Novak's debut single, "Turn Your Car Around", which reached the number 12 spot in the UK Top 40 charts. Similar technologies are now emerging with companies such as Mixcloud, MusicXray, and BandMetrics who are using their technologies.
When single phase AC supply is given to the stator winding, due to shading provided to the poles, a rotating magnetic field is generated. This auxiliary single-turn winding is called a shading coil. Currents induced in this coil by the magnetic field create a second electrical phase by delaying the phase of magnetic flux change for that pole (a shaded pole) enough to provide a 2-phase rotating magnetic field. The direction of rotation is from the unshaded side to the shaded (ring) side of the pole.
The pair owned and operated Steelworks Studios in Sheffield, UK. As mixers and producers, Lever and Percy experienced success writing and mixing songs for acts like S Club 7, Blue, and Robbie Williams. Lever and Percy have since left the studio. In 1987, Dead or Alive released their greatest hits album Rip It Up, and a concert tour of the same name. In mid 1988, Dead or Alive, now pared down to a duo of Burns and Coy, released the self-produced Nude, which featured the single "Turn Around and Count 2 Ten".
Volume control in an audio device is a common application of a potentiometer. A typical low power potentiometer (see drawing) is constructed of a flat resistance element (B) of carbon composition, metal film, or conductive plastic, with a springy phosphor bronze wiper contact (C) which moves along the surface. An alternate construction is resistance wire wound on a form, with the wiper sliding axially along the coil. These have lower resolution, since as the wiper moves the resistance changes in steps equal to the resistance of a single turn.
The band's fifth album, On the Edge, was made during the 1980 tour, and released in October 1980. The single, "Turn and Walk Away", reached the Top 100. During a performance in Cincinnati on 9 December 1980 (the day after John Lennon had been murdered), John Waite was pulled from the stage by an overzealous fan during an encore and seriously injured his knee. Following a subsequent final performance by the group in Akron, Ohio, the remainder of the tour was cancelled, and the group disbanded following the tour.
Her vocals again appeared in two songs on Enigma's 2000 album The Screen Behind the Mirror as well as the project's 2001 single "Turn Around". 2001 also saw the release of Sandra's brand new single, a ballad "Forever", which was a minor chart success in Germany. It foreshadowed her next studio album, The Wheel of Time, eventually released in spring 2002, after several delays. The album was a chart success and met with positive critical response, producing two more singles, "Such a Shame", originally performed by Talk Talk, and another ballad "I Close My Eyes".
The album also includes their own version of "St John's Wood", a track Ford and Keays wrote for Brisbane band The Sect, who had released it as a single on Columbia during the year. In April, EMI released the group's popular single, "Turn Up Your Radio", produced by Gable, and engineered by John Sayers. It was recorded at a late-night session and Keays later recounted that he was so drunk when he recorded his vocals that he had to be held up to the microphone.Keays, p. 151–153, 157, 219, 222.
The group released their second studio album New Attitude on 26 November 2007, which debuted at number 10 and was certified gold. A cover of Loverboy's 1980 single "Turn Me Loose", featuring New Zealand rapper Savage, was released the album's first single, and peaked at number 15. On 28 March 2008, Sony BMG announced in The Daily Telegraph that due to the poor sales of "Turn Me Loose", a second single would not be released from New Attitude. They also stated that the Young Divas were not being dropped and would continue to record music.
This is because it is necessary to pass the entire length of a coil winding through the core aperture each time a single turn is added to the coil. As a consequence, toroidal transformers rated more than a few kVA are uncommon. Relatively few toroids are offered with power ratings above 10 kVA, and practically none above 25 kVA. Small distribution transformers may achieve some of the benefits of a toroidal core by splitting it and forcing it open, then inserting a bobbin containing primary and secondary windings.
Other players may challenge the move if the tile is not a solution using proper arithmetic. If the player is found to be at fault, he or she must withdraw the tile and end the turn, collecting only the points made from previous moves in that turn. The player can continue to play tiles on a single turn so long as there are legal moves. Additional plays do not need to use tiles played earlier in the turn, but it may be useful to "build" equations so that difficult high-value tiles can be played.
By adjusting the number of turns of the coil, which can be as low as a single turn, the generator can be designed for delivery of high-current low-voltage pulses or, with more turns, low-current high-voltage pulses. The shock wave generated by explosion destroys the magnetic domains in the magnet, cause loss of the magnetic field, and the very sudden change induces a high-peak electric current in the surrounding coil. Both the shock wave directions parallel to the vector of magnetization (longitudinal) and perpendicular (transverse) are possible to be used.
After Same Difference disbanded, Sean Smith performed in the title role of Aladdin in December 2015 at the Stiwt Theatre in Wrexham alongside Alex Reid (fighter). He then went on to perform in a lead role in the touring UK production of 'That's Entertainment' from 4 April until 8 October 2016, performing alongside artists such as Jane McDonald & The Overtones. Smith signed to Energise Records as a solo artist, and released his debut solo single "Turn Me On" on 23 September 2016. The single was written by Nalle Ahlstedt and Christian Ingebrigtsen from A1.
Although Metal Walker is a console RPG, battles are fought in a pinball or billiards-like atmosphere in a top-down perspective arena. As each turn of the battle starts, players decide which direction a Metal Walker will move and how hard they will move. Players are encouraged to form strategies that allow Metal Walkers to hit a single enemy, bounce off a wall, and then hit another enemy, all in a single turn. On the battlefield, players can throw several different types of items onto the field.
Air core inductors can use sliding contacts or multiple taps to increase or decrease the number of turns included in the circuit, to change the inductance. A type much used in the past but mostly obsolete today has a spring contact that can slide along the bare surface of the windings. The disadvantage of this type is that the contact usually short- circuits one or more turns. These turns act like a single-turn short-circuited transformer secondary winding; the large currents induced in them cause power losses.
WayV () is a Chinese boy group which serves as the fourth sub-unit and China- based unit of the South Korean boy group NCT managed by SM Entertainment's sub-label, Label V. Debuted on January 17, 2019, with their digital extended play The Vision, the group is composed of seven members: Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery, Yangyang. The group won the Best New Asian Artist award at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards. On June 9, 2020, they released their first studio album Awaken the World with lead single "Turn Back Time".
For temporary connections, a split ring-type current transformer can be slipped over a cable without disconnecting it. This type has a laminated iron core, with a hinged section that allows it to be installed over the cable; the core links the magnetic flux produced by the single turn primary winding to a wound secondary with many turns. Because the gaps in the hinged segment introduce inaccuracy, such devices are not normally used for revenue metering. Current transformers, especially those intended for high voltage substation service, may have multiple taps on their secondary windings, providing several ratios in the same device.
In September 2007, it was revealed that Australian Idol season four runner-up Jessica Mauboy was the new member of the Young Divas replacing Coulter, who left the group to resume her solo career. They then went on to release their second studio album New Attitude on 26 November 2007. The album debuted at number 10 and was certified gold, while its lead single "Turn Me Loose" peaked at number 15. In August 2008, it was announced that both Paulini and Mauboy had quit the Young Divas in order to resume their solo careers, leaving DeAraugo and Williams as the only remaining members.
The internet-only promotional single "Jump up in the Air (Stay There)", featuring Lil Wayne and Bilal, was released on Badu's official website in January 2010. RC Williams, Badu's musical director, said that a music video for the track was shot in Dallas. The album's first official single, "Window Seat", was released by Badu through a downloadable link on her Twitter page. The song peaked at number 16 on Billboard R&B;/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The album's second single, "Turn Me Away (Get MuNNY)", was released March 24, 2010 by Badu as a free download online.Columnist.
Special Actions may be spent to allow for large territorial gains in a single turn, such as the German conquest of France; or the British evacuation from Dunkirk. Neither of these require any "special" rules outside the basic game system. This is a feat which few World War II European Theater games have accomplished. Now in its 2nd edition, the game features several scenarios: 1939-'45, 1941-'45, 1941-'43 tournament, European War (where Soviet Russia attacks Germany in 1939) and a Patton's Fantasy scenario, which pits the Western Allies against the Soviets after the fall of Germany during the remainder of 1945.
All grade crossing predictors rely on the changes in the electrical characteristics of the rails that occur as a train approaches the point at which the predictor is connected to the rails (the feedpoint). A railroad track occupied by a train or other electrical shunt can be viewed as a single-turn inductor shaped like a hairpin. As the train approaches the feedpoint, the area enclosed by the inductor diminishes, thus reducing the inductance. This inductance can be measured by connecting a constant-current alternating current source to the rails, and measuring the voltage which results.
Injection of particles into a storage ring may be accomplished in a number of ways, depending on the application of the storage ring. The simplest method uses one or more pulsed deflecting dipole magnets (injection kicker magnets) to steer an incoming train of particles onto the stored beam path; the kicker magnets are turned off before the stored train returns to the injection point, thus resulting in a stored beam. This method is sometimes called single-turn injection. Multi-turn injection allows accumulation of many incoming trains of particles, for example if a large stored current is required.
Pitiful, was featured on the compilation "This beat is POPTRONIK – VOL I", released in 2012 by Aztec Records and EQ Music and was one of the artists performing on the mini-tour Poptronik on Summer of 2012 2012. His second acclaimed and charted single was the single Turn it Up, produced by Arake, and written & composed by himself and was released on 5 June 2012, followed by the charted single Music Makes you lose control, released on 13 August produced by DABEAT. In the same year he released with the Portuguese Dj Sky Santos, the house chilled track I Miss you .
A common single-phase motor is the shaded-pole motor and is used in devices requiring low starting torque, such as electric fans, small pumps, or small household appliances. In this motor, small single-turn copper "shading coils" create the moving magnetic field. Part of each pole is encircled by a copper coil or strap; the induced current in the strap opposes the change of flux through the coil. This causes a time lag in the flux passing through the shading coil, so that the maximum field intensity moves higher across the pole face on each cycle.
In September 2007, it was announced that Mauboy had joined the girl group Young Divas, replacing one of the group's original members Ricki-Lee Coulter. A solo career was still very much on the cards for Mauboy, but her management saw the Young Divas as a perfect learning curve about all that was positive and negative in the music industry. Following on from the success of their single "Turn Me Loose", Mauboy began to work on her debut solo album. She began to write songs with Adam Reily, Israel Cruz, Brooke McClymont and Audius Mtawarira, as well as sourcing songs from international publishers.
"RedHook" Australian Music Week. Later that year, in December, RedHook joined the lineup for the inaugural Good Things festival in Sydney as a local support band. Retrieved 18 December 2018 Days after their performance at Good Things, RedHook released a music video for their sophomore single "Turn Up the Stereotype" that was released in October.
Marcucci heavily promoted Fabian's next single, "Turn Me Loose", using a series of advertisements saying "Fabian Is Coming", then "Who is Fabian?" then finally "Fabian is Here". It worked and "Turn Me Loose" went into the Top Ten, peaking at number 9.Thomas Doherty, Teenagers And Teenpics: Juvenilization Of American Movies, Temple University Press, 2010 p 175Halberstadt p 113 This was later followed by "Hound Dog Man", (US #9; UK #46), and his biggest hit, "Tiger", which reached No. 3 on the US charts. It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc by the RIAA.
Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album by Australian singer Kylie Minogue, released in 1992. It contains nineteen singles from her first four studio albums Kylie, Enjoy Yourself, Rhythm of Love and Let's Get to It, as well as three new songs recorded specifically for inclusion on this album. The album was largely written and produced by the Stock Aitken Waterman team, and its release marked the end of Minogue's professional relationship with them. It contained all her single releases to date including the Japan-only single, "Turn It into Love", featured on Kylie's first studio album in 1988.
If the player survives unharmed, he or she has their action points restored. Injuries and poisons can reduce the number of action points available both in a single turn and semi-permanently, until combat ends and the player can be treated. Combat and completion of jobs or quests reward the player with experience points with which they can level up their characters and apply beneficial perks to become more suited to the dangerous post-apocalyptic world. General gameplay consists of traveling and interacting with local inhabitants and organizations to complete goals and aid or inhibit the NPCs.
Each individual troop unit was given its own movement allowance on the adventure map, with units possessing the ability to split off independently of the main army; however, the troops can no longer be "shuttled" from hero to hero to move an army large distances in a single turn. Logistics were restricted by eliminating or weakening travel spells. This, in turn, was partially compensated for by the elimination of the need to revisit resource-producing structures each week, and the introduction of caravans, which can quickly and safely transport heroes and remotely recruit troops from external dwellings.
The Boer brothers had already been experimenting with music in a small bedroom when they finally gained note in 1990, when their single Can't Help Myself was picked up by Dutch radio stations and became an international hit. The brothers then brought together rapper Da Smooth Baron MC and singers Peggy "The Duchess" and Gale Robinson to form their stage act. The release of their next single, Turn Da Music Up was somewhat less successful, but helped the band to gain name recognition. 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor made two hit singles together before separating.
The album opens with the lead single "Turn Back Time", an urban trap song that stands out with powerful bass and beat that seems to be speeding that, embodying the group's ambition to progress towards a larger world stage. Swedish composer team Moonshine, who participated in composing the group's previous lead single "Moonwalk", also involved in this track. The following track "Bad Alive", composed by American producer Mike Daley, is mainly composed of arpeggio and 808 drums, full of strong energy. Irregular trap drums and a siren sound overlay the dynamic bassline and melody, giving a sense of power.
On November 27, 2012, it was revealed that Epic Records had commissioned a number of official remixes for "Sorry" by Jasper Cameron (who produced the original version), Kenneth "Soundz" Coby and Watch the Duck. That same day, the first remix titled "Sorry (Remix, Pt. 2)" was premiered online via Rap-Up.com. The new version features an alternative musical production courtesy of Cameron and Sean "JumpStupid" Notty, along with new vocals from Ciara and new verses from her label mate, American rapper Future. The collaboration came about after Ciara featured on a remix of Future's 2012 single "Turn on the Lights".
In 2010, Nguyen directed YouTube singer-songwriter Megan Lee's music video for her first official single, "Love, Laugh, & Live". On February 4, 2013, Nguyen produced and released a short film with The Jubilee Project and Jeremy Lin titled "The Last Pick," which can be viewed on Lin's personal YouTube channel. In November 2013, it was announced on Allkpop that Nguyen and Korean hip-hop artists, Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae, have collaborated on an animated music video for their single, "Turn It Up", which is featured on CHOPS' upcoming album, Strength In Numbers. The full version of the music video was released on January 15, 2014.
As players become skilled in scoring dozens of points in a single turn, they would often employ defensive shots in breaks to avoid risk of giving their opponents runout opportunities. Because of this, Jerome Keogh, who was a winner of numerous tournaments, came up with the idea in 1910 of reracking the balls while there was still an object ball on the table, therefore encouraging players to be more offensive. This new game became 14.1 continuous and would a few years later be called straight pool. The name 14.1 continuous comes from the fact that 14 balls are shot with one remaining to continue the shot and break the new rack.
Future's single, "Turn On the Lights", was certified gold and entered at number 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Keef's "I Don't Like" and "Love Sosa" generated over 30 million views on YouTube, spawning a new subgenre within trap called drill. Music critics called drill production style the "sonic cousin to skittish footwork, southern-fried hip-hop and the 808 trigger-finger of trap". Young Chop is frequently identified by critics as the genre's most characteristic producer. The sound of trap producer Lex Luger's music is a major influence on drill, and Young Chop identified Shawty Redd, Drumma Boy and Zaytoven as important precursors to the drill movement.
In New Zealand there are typically Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced classes, with the clearer separation of moves between the classes. Moving up the classes leads to moves which are more complicated, more syncopated and physically closer. Beginners moves have 2-4 timing, preserve contact between partners at all times, have single speed, single turn spins, the dancers keep their balance (no leans, drops or dips) and partners only contact with each other is hands, arms and shoulders. Intermediate moves introduce single speed double spins and assisted double speed turns, contact with the partners back, and leans (in which one partner takes the others' weight with their body).
After the croquet stroke, the player plays a "continuation" stroke, during which the player may again attempt to make a roquet or run a hoop. Each of the other three balls may be roqueted once in a turn before a hoop is run, after which they become available to be roqueted again. The winner of the game is the team who completes the set circuit of six hoops (and then back again the other way), with both balls, and then strikes the centre peg (making a total of 13 points per ball = 26). Good players may make "s" or "s" of several hoops in a single turn.
The runners used a crouch start without blocks and a single turn stagger start (breaking after the first turn). Returning to the final from four years earlier were defending champion Peter Snell and bronze medalist George Kerr. While Snell started strongly, he found himself in third place at the break, led by aggressive front-running by Wilson Kiprugut. As others moved forward, Snell found himself boxed along the rail, so as the runners came onto the home stretch he had to slow to come out the back of the box, then as the bell approached, he glided along the outside to catch up to Kiprugut and Kerr in the lead.

A loop antenna for amateur radio under construction Small transmitting loops are “small” in comparison to a full-wave loop, but considerably larger than the small receiving loop, and unlike receiving loops must be “scaled-up” for longer wavelengths. They are typically used on frequencies between 3-30 MHz. They usually consist of a single turn of large diameter conductor, and are typically round or octagonal to provide maximum enclosed area for a given perimeter. The smaller of these loops are much less efficient than full-sized self-resonant loops, but where space is at a premium the smaller loops can provide effective communications.
Silvy De Bie and Wout Van Dessel (2004) The band was formed in the year 2000 as "Liquid feat. Silvy" and released in France and Belgium the single "Turn the Tide" and in the rest of Europe it was released in 2001 under the "Sylver" band name. In Germany, the single immediately moved to number 8 in the charts, and within 8 weeks was number 2 (under Atomic Kitten's "Whole Again"), staying in the top 10 for 12 weeks. The debut album "Chances" debuted a month later at 16 and spent 49 weeks in the top 100, which is Sylver's most successful studio album to date.
In 2010, the second compilation album "Decade - The Very Best Of Sylver" has been released to the band's 10th anniversary with "It's My Life" being the first and only single release out of it. The album peaked at number 1 at the Belgian album charts, being Sylvers most successful album there, while the single still managed to be a top 20 hit in the Belgian single charts. In addition to their 10th anniversary, Sylver released a new version of their very first single "Turn the Tide". In 2011 and in 2012, the singles "Stop Feeling Sorry" and "City Of Angels" have been released as singles only.
There are a total of 51 cards to earn throughout the game that can enable specialized directions in combat and also various secrets and surprises to find while discovering the world. There are around 45 different types of enemies that the player will meet, these do often act in different ways. Some can, to mention a few actions, steal cards from the player and some can instead give the player benefits, more time with a shield and the ability to use more archers in a single turn, for example. The player can also use magic in different ways as well as cards involving elemental effects, fire and lighting, for instance.
A number of terrain features add depth to the gameplay, such as swamps, forests, hills, mountains, rivers, and tundra. Also, the seasons and weather affect battle, with invasions in the winter months causing bodies of water to freeze over and generally slowing the movement of troops. Troops on frozen water can fall if they are bombarded, as happened at the Battle of Austerlitz. Each army may consist of three types of units: basic infantry (which can build and explode bridges), cavalry (which can charge an enemy, allowing them to repeatedly attack a unit in a single turn), and artillery (which can bombard enemies from afar).
Known for his work in LGBT clubs, Kris Di Angelis started making remixes to play. In 2010, through a contract with Sony Music, became the official DJ of London Fashion Week. To reach a larger audience, he began to hide his identity and decided to use his initials as a pseudonym. On 16 October 2015, KDA released his debut single "Turn the Music Louder (Rumble)", the song features vocals from Tinie Tempah and Katy B. The song premiered on Annie Mac's radio show as the "Hottest Record in the World" on 2 September 2015, and it was BBC Radio 1's Track of the Day on 30 September 2015.
It is possible for characters to pick up a character that is already carrying another character, and so forth, allowing for one character to move within a single turn to the far side of the map. However, any character that is still carrying another character at the end of the turn will take damage. While a character is holding others they can attack, when this is done each character adds to the damage. Across some boards are glowing colored spaces which are either red, green, blue, yellow, purple, cyan, and special objects called "Geo Symbols" which are either null, red, green, blue, yellow, purple.
"Repercussions" is a song that was released by American recording artist Lauryn Hill on July 29, 2010, through BoyWonder Entertainment. The song was released as a digital download, and was said to be a cut from her yet to be released upcoming second studio album. It is Hill's first single to be released since 2007's "Lose Myself" and is the first of Hill's singles to chart on the Hot R&B;/Hip-Hop Songs chart since her collaborative single "Turn Your Lights Down Low" which was released in November 1999. In August 2010, it debuted at #94 on the chart and ended up peaking at #83 the following week.
In straight rail, a player scores a point and may continue shooting each time his cue ball makes contact with both other balls. Some of the best players of straight billiards developed the skill to the balls in a corner or along the same rail for the purpose of playing a series of to score a seemingly limitless number of points. The first straight rail professional tournament was held in 1879 where Jacob Schaefer Sr. scored 690 points in a single turn (that is, 690 separate strokes without a miss). With the balls repetitively hit and barely moving in endless "nursing", there was little for the fans to watch.
The objective is to earn the most stars of all players on the board; stars are obtained by purchase from a single predefined space on the game board. Each character's movement is determined by a roll of a dice, with a roll from each player forming a single turn. Each turn in Mario Party 2 is followed by a mini-game, which is competed to earn coins for the character, used to buy items and stars. Mario Party 2 was followed by Mario Party 3 in 2000, and was later re-released on the Wii Virtual Console in 2010, and for the Wii U Virtual Console in North America in 2016.
Hours after Awaken The World was released, the music video of the lead single "Turn Back Time" was released on June 9 after a delay. The song achieved an increasing digital performance on local music charts comparing to the group's previous releases, remaining at the top spot for seven consecutive days and was certified with a Gold Medal on QQ Music Popularity Chart. It also ranked at number three on UNI Chart (previously known as Yo! Bang), a weekly music ranking by Tencent Music that covers data from three China's biggest music platforms: QQ Music, Kugou, and Kuwo, becoming the group's first entry to the top three of the chart.
"Can't Stop the World" was recorded for the Go-Go's debut album, Beauty and the Beat. The second album featured Valentine's previous Textones song "Vacation" as the title track and first single, after re-working the arrangement with Go-Gos' guitarist Charlotte Caffey. On the Go-Gos' third LP, Talk Show, Valentine also co-wrote with Caffey the hit single "Head over Heels," and played lead guitar on several songs, including the single "Turn To You", album cuts "You Thought", "Beneath The Blue Sky", and "Good For Gone". The band struggled with internal difficulties during the recording of Talk Show, and tried to stay together after the departure of rhythm guitarist Jane Wiedlin.
Missy Elliott made her move from Elektra Entertainment Group to Atlantic Records, taking Tweet and The Goldmind Inc. with her. During 2003 and 2004, Tweet began recording songs for her follow-up to Southern Hummingbird which was supposed to be released in early 2004, but due to the label changes, was pushed back. In late 2004, Tweet joined Cee-Lo Green and Teedra Moses on the 2004 Seagram's Gin Live Tour in promotion of her new single, "Turn da Lights Off" The song was produced by Missy Elliott and Kwamé, featured vocals from Elliott and contained a sample of Marvin Gaye's "If This World Were Mine" and Nat King Cole's "Lost April".
"Till I Die" was written by Cameron Jabril Thomaz, Chris Brown, Marcella Araica, Nathaniel "Danja" Hills and Sean Anderson, while production was handled by Danja. The audio mixing was completed by Jaycen Joshua, with assistance by Trehy Harris. On March 28, 2012, Brown announced via his official Twitter account that he would be releasing "Till I Die" and "Sweet Love" as the next two singles from Fortune, after the lead single "Turn Up the Music". The audio of "Till I Die" and its artwork were posted online on April 10, 2012, showing Brown wearing a navy blue suit and sunglasses, and standing beside a motorcycle in front of a neon- glowing backdrop.
The first single, "Fever" was released on March 24, while a second single, "Turn Blue", followed on April 14. The album debuted at number one in the US and Australia, the band's first record to top the album charts in either country; 164,000 copies were sold in the US in its first week. The album was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album, with "Fever" being nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song as well as the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance. In May 2014, the Black Keys embarked on a world tour to support the album, with Cage the Elephant, Jake Bugg, and St. Vincent all separately opening for them.
The release of Miles High was preceded by the releases of the single Turn Yourself Loose (EMI 5213), although despite quite a lot of airplay, a picture sleeve and signed copies being available, it just failed to break the Top 75 in the UK. The non- album B-side (Closer To You) was another Miles-Marshall-penned song. Turn Yourself Loose was also released in Germany (1C 006 64 512) and in Spain (10C 006 064512), the latter in a unique cover and titled ‘Volviendote A Perder’. In October 1981 EMI released a second single from the album, Reggae Man (EMI 5246), with One Step Closer To Paradise selected as the B-side.
The combat interface is also used to solve magical traps. Traps involve various types of hazards, such as fireball blasters and laser crystals, and the player either has to disable them using the objects provided or otherwise navigate through the trap and reach the top of the combat field. Although the game uses a GUI, many actions can be performed using keys as well. There is a glitch (or intended hidden feature) that allows the player to make certain combinations of two moves in a single turn—one using the mouse and another using the keyboard—or rest twice by pressing 'R' before the turn begins and holding it through the turn.
The vocals in the song is sung by Andru Donalds, who also lent his voice in the fourth and fifth Enigma albums. On its release, listeners thought that, like previous standalone single "Turn Around", the song might not be part of any released album: however, it was later released in September 2006, with a new mix, on A posteriori. The song will also be the walk-in music for the German boxer, Felix Sturm. According to information provided by Crocodile Music Management, the single was originally scheduled to be released first in October 2005 but the date was moved to 25 November 2005, a day before Sturm's fight with Maselino Masoe for the WBA Championship title.
In simulation games, time is generally more concrete. Wargames usually specify the amount of time each turn represents, and in sports games a turn is usually distinctly one 'play', although the amount of time a play or turn takes can vary. Some games use player turns where one player gets to perform their actions before another player can perform any on their turn (Monopoly and chess would be classic examples). Some use game turns, where all players contribute to the actions of a single turn (board-game simulations of American football tend to have both players pick plays and then determine the outcome; each 'play' or 'down' can be considered a turn).
Saunders can get wounded or even killed - causing the mission to immediately end with a complete failure for the player and an immediate victory for the computer opponent. After each player has completed all eight phases that consists of a single turn, both players engage all opponents that are on the same square as their unit(s) in a crisis mode. Before the next turn can begin, the player must either release the hostage, kill the hostage in hand-to-hand combat, or merely capture him as a prisoner of war. Just like in real life combat, not all actions will be successful and most will end in failure if the enemy is strong enough to resist.
The subsequent new album, Islands, was also a commercial disappointment, peaking at No. 35 in the UK. In the US, the band first adopted the Kaja moniker at this time, and a different edition of the Islands album was released there as Extra Play, peaking at No. 185 on the Billboard charts. However, the single "Turn Your Back on Me" did well on the US Dance Charts, peaking at No. 2 for two weeks. Meanwhile, Limahl went on to equally brief success as a solo artist and Strode left the band. In an attempt to regain credibility and lose their light-hearted, bubblegum image, the remaining three members relaunched as Kaja in the UK in 1985.
Solid-state power amplifiers operating from 1-30 MHz typically use one or more wideband transformers wound on ferrite cores. MOSFETs and bipolar junction transistors typically used in modern radio frequency amplifiers are designed to operate into a low impedance, so the transformer primary typically has a single turn, while the 50 Ohm secondary will have 2 to 4 turns. This design of feedline system has the advantage of reducing the retuning required when the operating frequency is changed. A similar design can match an antenna to a transmission line: For example, many TV antennas have a 300 Ohm impedance but feed the signal to the TV through a 75 Ohm coaxial line.
An impulse-based turn system is a game mechanic where a game turn is broken up into a series of discrete, repeating segments, or impulses. It can be considered a fairly complex mechanic, but has been used in three games that have enjoyed long-term success, the wargames Star Fleet Battles and Car Wars, and the Hero System role-playing game (also known as Champions or Fantasy Hero). It is most often seen in games that feature high-paced combat where units can move much further in one turn than common effective weapons ranges. (In Star Fleet Battles, a ship may move as far as 31 hexes in a single turn, and can usually move 20.
The primary circuit is largely unaffected by the insertion of the CT. Accurate current transformers need close coupling between the primary and secondary to ensure that the secondary current is proportional to the primary current over a wide current range. The current in the secondary is the current in the primary (assuming a single turn primary) divided by the number of turns of the secondary. In the illustration on the right, 'I' is the current in the primary, 'B' is the magnetic field, 'N' is the number of turns on the secondary, and 'A' is an AC ammeter. Current transformers typically consist of a silicon steel ring core wound with many turns of copper wire as shown in the illustration to the right.
Sensing this, Leia then orders Chewbacca to turn the ship around, prompting a parody of Vicki Sue Robinson's single "Turn The Beat Around", reworded to "Turn the Ship Around". Seth Green also created a series of Star Wars episodes for Robot Chicken. As the story comes to a close, Luke interrupts the ending sequence and raises the viewer's awareness to all of the "unanswered questions" that the movie leaves behind. The Western Union postal worker from the 1989 film Back to the Future Part II then appears, and hands Luke a message delivered by Doc Brown from the year 1885, with the story then ending on the words "To be Concluded", in the same fashion of Back to the Future.
A prerequisite for a triple peel is that the peelee's next hoop is 4-back (so it has three hoops still to run). The striker, during a single turn, peels the peelee through its last three hoops and then pegs it out. Because a ball cannot be roqueted more than once without the striker's ball first running a hoop itself, the three peels are always performed in the course of making a break for the striker's ball, often a break that completes the full circuit of 12 hoops. A triple peel can be performed either on the striker's partner ball, or on one of the opponent's balls; the latter case is referred to as a Triple Peel on Opponent (TPO).
In this case, if his ally across the board is still in the game, the game continues; otherwise, it ends with the victory of the other team. Even if a player admits defeat or resigns, his team may still win if his ally is able to defeat both opposing teams. As shown in the diagram, there will no longer be Mountains or No-man's Lands, for the 9 shared spaces in the middle of the territories will be public territory. There are now curved railroads, where the rule for railroads still apply across the curve for all pieces: in a single turn, moving pieces can still travel along any part of the yellow line in the diagram, but not in the direction of the arrow.
The ampere-turn (At) is the MKS (Metres, Kilograms, Seconds) unit of magnetomotive force (MMF), represented by a direct current of one ampere flowing in a single-turn loop in a vacuum. "Turns" refers to the winding number of an electrical conductor composing an inductor. For example, a current of 2 A flowing through a coil of 10 turns produces an MMF of 20 At. By maintaining the same current and increasing the number of loops or turns of the coil, the strength of the magnetic field increases because each loop or turn of the coil sets up its own magnetic field. The magnetic field unites with the fields of the other loops to produce the field around the entire coil, making the total magnetic field stronger.
In addition, if the player began a turn with seven tiles on the rack and proceeded to clear the rack in a single turn (either through seven plays, or by additionally drawing tiles via sign squares and eventually playing them), a bonus of 50 points is added to the score. At the end of the game, once all tiles from the pouch and a player has played all his or her remaining tiles (or all players pass in consecutive turns), the final score is tallied. If tiles remain on a player's rack, the value of the tiles is subtracted from their score (but not added to any other player's score). The player with the highest total at the end of the game is declared the winner.
The orbs are of the five colors representing the elemental attributes of the monsters (Fire, Wood, Water, Light, and Dark) as well as hearts that represent life recovery (certain enemy monster skills may introduce two other types of orbs to the board). The player drags an orb to adjacent positions, swapping with the orb already there. So long as the player does not let go of the orb, the player can move the orb as much as necessary within 4 seconds (unless changed by a player or enemy monsters' skills) once they start moving it, allowing them to arrange for several combos in a single turn. After completing this, all matched orbs are removed from the board and accounted for as damage.
In one variation such good behavior is motivated by assigning each area a number of bonus squares which advance the player who frees a stuck player. In other variations, the freeing player gets a number of bonus turns equal to the last number in the number the stuck player had reached before getting stuck. After the player completes the circuit from "1" to "12" and successfully flicks into the square labeled "13", a circuit of the four trapezoids surrounding the "13" square must be made. The circuit of these must be performed in succession in a single turn, with the player saying "I" in the first, "am" in the second, "a" in the third, and finally "killer" in the fourth, or a variation, such as "I'm", "a", "killa".
Each character can take a variety of actions, ranging from attacking, performing special attacks called "Arts" and using Ether abilities that each consume EP, using items, taking defensive positions that reduce damage, and escaping the battle. Both the player party and enemies have Break gauges, which fill up when either side successfully lands an attack. When the gauge fills, that character is stunned and cannot act for two turns, in addition becoming more vulnerable to a high-damage Critical attack. The Break gauge can be reduced by using Ether abilities, which can also be used along with items to recover HP. Each player character has a "Boost" gauge that builds up during battle, which can be used to either perform two actions in a single turn, or deliver character-specific special attacks.
In 2005, he took part in Musikk's album When the Musikk Starts to Play In 2005, Jon returned as a solo artist with the single "Popstar" which was written by Swedish singer Robyn. That same year he released his second solo studio album Today is a Good Day (To Fall in Love). He released his solo Danish language single in May 2007, entitled "Lidt endnu" (meaning Just yet) In August 2007 landed a job as a radio host on commercial station Radio ABC in the program Mads og JonGaffa: Jon bliver radiovært In 2009, his management company IDOLINC released Remady P&R;'s "No Superstar" throughout Scandinavia. In 2010 Jon returned to the scene appearing in Kato's hit single "Turn the Lights Off" as one of two tracks from Kato's album Discolized.

Upon its release, Awaken the World attained commercial success in China and South Korea, earning the group top-three entry on both Tencent Music's UNI Chart and the Gaon Album Chart, as well as their third entry on the Billboard World Albums Chart. It was also WayV's first release to enter the Oricon Albums Chart, peaking at number nineteen. To promote the album, the group performed the lead single "Turn Back Time" on several South Korean television music programs, with an accompanied Korean version of the song released separately on June 18, 2020. Subsequently, the group released an English version of the track "Bad Alive" as a digital single on June 29 which managed to rank at number one on QQ Music Daily Digital Sales chart and earned Gold certification hours after it was released.
Lecher line wavemeter, from "DIY" article in 1946 radio magazine A major attraction of Lecher lines was they were a way to measure frequency without complicated electronics, and could be improvised from simple materials found in a typical shop. Lecher line wavemeters are usually built on a frame which holds the conductors rigid and horizontal, with a track that the shorting bar or indicator rides on, and a built-in measuring scale so the distance between nodes can be read out. The frame must be made of a nonconductive material like wood, because any conducting objects near the line can disturb the standing wave pattern. The RF current is usually coupled into the line through a single turn loop of wire at one end, which can be held near a transmitter's tank coil.
The two formed a trio with the drummer Herman Seals after the war ended and again began playing in clubs in the French Quarter and along Bourbon Street. The trio was invited by David Braun to record a session for his DeLuxe Records in 1947, which produced Lewis's debut record, "Here Comes Smiley" (Papa John Joseph replaced Seals and played bass at this session). The single "Turn On Your Volume" was a local jukebox hit, but DeLuxe requested no more material and left two other recorded sides unreleased. An invitation from Dave Bartholomew, who grew up in the same neighborhood as Lewis and was then beginning a career as a producer with Imperial Records, led to a recording session for the trio in March 1950, at which they recorded the song "Tee Nah Nah".
The album made its American debut in November 1980, and would go on to sell over two million copies in the US. The band went on a touring spree that year putting on over 200 shows with bands such as Cheap Trick, ZZ Top, Kansas, and Def Leppard. Their debut single, "Turn Me Loose", went on to hit No. 7 on the Canadian charts and No. 35 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in early 1981. "The Kid Is Hot Tonite" was also a single. The band's follow-up album, Get Lucky, released in October 1981 when it was opening for Journey, included the hit tracks "Working for the Weekend", "When It's Over" and "Lucky Ones". It became the group’s best selling album in the U.S., reaching No. 7 on the Billboard album charts and selling over four million copies.
For particles such as protons where there is no significant beam damping, each injected pulse is placed onto a particular point in the stored beam transverse or longitudinal phase space, taking care not to eject previously-injected trains by using a careful arrangement of beam deflection and coherent oscillations in the stored beam. If there is significant beam damping, for example radiation damping of electrons due to synchrotron radiation, then an injected pulse may be placed on the edge of phase space and then left to damp in transverse phase space into the stored beam before injecting a further pulse. Typical damping times from synchrotron radiation are tens of milliseconds, allowing many pulses per second to be accumulated. If extraction of particles is required (for example in a chain of accelerators), then single-turn extraction may be performed analogously to injection.
After this initial trial Archimedes embarked on a return voyage to London, but while in transit the ship's boiler—which lacked either a gauge or a safety valve—exploded, killing the second engineer and scalding several others. The vessel was then laid up for five months for repairs at Wimshurst's shipyard. On resuming service, Smith received an invitation from the Dutch government to bring the vessel to the Netherlands for a demonstration, which he accepted. On the voyage to the Texel however, Archimedes broke her crankshaft and was forced to return to England for further repairs, which on this occasion were effected by the firm of Miller, Ravenhill & Co. It was during this refit that the original full helix, single turn, single threaded propeller was replaced by a double-threaded, half turn propeller with two distinct blades.
Smith quickly built a small model boat to test his invention, which was demonstrated first on a pond at his Hendon farm, and later at the Royal Adelaide Gallery of Practical Science in London, where it was seen by the Secretary of the Navy, Sir William Barrow. Having secured the patronage of a London banker named Wright, Smith then built a , canal boat of six tons burthen called Francis Smith, which was fitted with a wooden propeller of his own design and demonstrated on the Paddington Canal from November 1836 to September 1837. By a fortuitous accident, the wooden propeller of two turns was damaged during a voyage in February 1837, and to Smith's surprise the broken propeller, which now consisted of only a single turn, doubled the boat's previous speed, from about four miles an hour to eight.
Small was brought in, and the new four-piece line-up of Small, guitarist Lindsay Mitchell, bass player Al Harlow, and drummer Rocket Norton recorded the album Small Change, which was released later in 1981. The first track on the album "Don't Let Him Know", written by Jim Vallance (using his real name, as opposed to the Roddy Higgs moniker he often used in his work with the band) and Bryan Adams, became Prism's first Top 40 hit in the US and a number-one single on Billboard's new Rock Tracks chart. Their follow-up single "Turn on Your Radar" also charted, becoming their fifth and final song to chart in the U.S. By the end of the tour for Small Change, Mitchell, Harlow and Norton had individually left Prism. With Mitchell's departure, Prism now had no founding members left.
Marley brothers in 1997 In 1999, Marley produced Chant Down Babylon a remix album of Bob Marley's music, modernised to appeal to a modern audience, featuring hip-hop, R&B; and rock stars including Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Guru, Busta Rhymes, MC Lyte, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Chuck D, and The Roots. The single "Turn Your Lights Down Low" featuring Lauryn Hill became a huge hit internationally, Marley modernising a song that had received little attention as a B side song in the 1977 Exodus album. In 1996, Stephen produced debut albums by younger brothers Julian and Damian Marley (Bob Marley's sons from relationships outside his marriage to Rita). Stephen was particularly successful in Damian's musical success, producing his brother's first three albums, Mr Marley (1996), as well as the Grammy Award-winning Halfway Tree (2001) and Welcome to Jamrock (2005).
This 2004 Toyota Prius hybrid has an Atkinson-cycle engine as the petrol-electric hybrid engine The Atkinson Gas Cycle The Atkinson-cycle engine is a type of single stroke internal combustion engine invented by James Atkinson in 1882. The Atkinson cycle is designed to provide efficiency at the expense of power density, and is used in some modern hybrid electric applications. The original Atkinson-cycle piston engine allowed the intake, compression, power, and exhaust strokes of the four-stroke cycle to occur in a single turn of the crankshaft and was designed to avoid infringing certain patents covering Otto-cycle engines. Due to the unique crankshaft design of the Atkinson, its expansion ratio can differ from its compression ratio and, with a power stroke longer than its compression stroke, the engine can achieve greater thermal efficiency than a traditional piston engine.
In January 2015, "Living for Love" debuted at number 32 on the Dance Club Songs chart, making it the singer's first appearance since her previous single "Turn Up the Radio". It then climbed to number 18 and the following week to number 11 as the greatest gainer on the chart for both weeks. For the issue dated March 7, 2015, "Living for Love" became Madonna's 44th number-one song on the chart. She equaled George Strait—who collected 44 chart-toppers on the Hot Country Songs—as the act with most number-one singles on any Billboard chart. "Living for Love" did not enter the Billboard Hot 100 but debuted at number 8 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. It became Madonna's 29th entry in the Pop Songs chart, debuting at number 36 on February 24, 2015.
The first Tate & Diamond single "Turn It Back" was released in summer 2011 on Defected Records with the follow up "Electrified" released on Anjunabeats. In addition, Tate announced the launch of a collaborative film scoring project entitled Brainstorm with composer Kenneth Lampl. The first film they completed together was called Sid's Paralysis by director Babar Ahmed which went on to win a prize for musical excellence by the Park City Film Music Festival. In 2012, Tate with Kenneth Lampl scored the motion picture The Undershepherd, directed by Russ Parr and starring Isaiah Washington, Keith David and Louis Gossett Jr.. In addition, Tate & Lampl worked together on the feature film How Do You Write a Joe Schermann Song (director Gary King) which won best film and up and coming director at the Phoenix Film Festival and best picture at the Raindance Film Festival amongst other awards.
He would later revise the patent, reducing the length to one turn. Douglas Fackler). He also often loses touch with reality, either by beginning to pace and proceeding to walk several yards away from the group he is addressing, or by repeating the word "very" and "many" an abundance of times ("Have a very, very, very good day", "This is very, very... very bad","...and many, many other things") The commandant is a skilful billiards player, once clearing an entire pool table in a single turn, much to the surprise of local bar players. Lassard nearly loses his job three times in the series: In Police Academy 3: Back in Training, the Metropolitan Police Academy, now a semi-statewide institution, is pitted against the state's other police academy in a competition to decide which school will be closed due to budget cuts. In Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach, Lassard reaches the mandatory retirement age for police officers.
Another change was Yoakam collaborating with fellow songwriters such as Kostas and Roger Miller. The album’s first single, “Turn It On, Turn It Up, Turn Me Loose,” was written by Kostas and Wayland Patton, and it was producer Pete Anderson who brought the song to Yoakam, telling him, “…this is one song I came across that sounds like something you would have written for yourself.” Yoakam and Kostas teamed up to compose “Nothing’s Changed Here,” which Anderson gave a bluesy, swaggering arrangement, and Kostas had a hand in writing the aching “Send a Message to My Heart,” which Yoakam performs as a duet with Patty Loveless. Yoakam’s other songwriting collaboration was on “It Only Hurts When I Cry” with country legend Roger Miller, and the song, which reached #7 on the country singles chart, contains the famous wordplay found in some of Miller’s biggest hits.
Smith released his second solo single "Magic" on 26 May 2017. The track reached number 29 on the UK iTunes dance singles chart. On 22 May 2017, he appeared on the ITV show Loose Women to promote "Magic" and unveil his new look. On 3 June 2017, Smith performed a live set at Oxford Pride which included his single "Turn Me On" and the Andy Sikorski remix of "Magic". His third solo single "Fire" was released on 2 November 2017. The track reached number 4 on the UK iTunes vocal album chart and number 20 on the UK iTunes vocal singles chart. Smith has recorded a cover version of the track "Verona", originally performed by singers Koit Toome and Laura Põldvere, with Australian singer Peter Wilson. The single was produced by Matt Pop and released on 16 August 2018, entering the iTunes Charts in 12 different countries.
It is also not clear how important Franklin's unpublished results from the progress report actually were for the model-building done by Watson and Crick. After the first crude X-ray diffraction images of DNA were collected in the 1930s, William Astbury had talked about stacks of nucleotides spaced at 3.4 angström (0.34 nanometre) intervals in DNA. A citation to Astbury's earlier X-ray diffraction work was one of only eight references in Franklin's first paper on DNA.Franklin's citation to the earlier work of W. T. Astbury is in: Analysis of Astbury's published DNA results and the better X-ray diffraction images collected by Wilkins and Franklin revealed the helical nature of DNA. It was possible to predict the number of bases stacked within a single turn of the DNA helix (10 per turn; a full turn of the helix is 27 angströms [2.7 nm] in the compact A form, 34 angströms [3.4 nm] in the wetter B form).
A game in international draughts, featuring a flying king When a man reaches the kings row (also called crownhead, the farthest row forward), it becomes a king, and is marked by placing an additional piece on top of the first man (crowned), and acquires additional powers including the ability to move backwards and (in variants where they cannot already do so) capture backwards. Like men, a king can make successive jumps in a single turn provided that each jump captures an enemy man or king. In international draughts, kings (also called flying kings) move any distance along unblocked diagonals, and may capture an opposing man any distance away by jumping to any of the unoccupied squares immediately beyond it. Because jumped pieces remain on the board until the turn is complete, it is possible to reach a position in a multi-jump move where the flying king is blocked from capturing further by a piece already jumped.
Cutaway drawing of potentiometer showing parts: (A) shaft, (B) stationary carbon composition resistance element, (C) phosphor bronze wiper, (D) shaft attached to wiper, (E, G) terminals connected to ends of resistance element, (F) terminal connected to wiper. A mechanical stop (H) prevents rotation past end points. Single-turn potentiometer with metal casing removed to expose wiper contacts and resistive track Potentiometers consist of a resistive element, a sliding contact (wiper) that moves along the element, making good electrical contact with one part of it, electrical terminals at each end of the element, a mechanism that moves the wiper from one end to the other, and a housing containing the element and wiper. Many inexpensive potentiometers are constructed with a resistive element (B in cutaway drawing) formed into an arc of a circle usually a little less than a full turn and a wiper (C) sliding on this element when rotated, making electrical contact.
Reviewer John F. Hainley stated in 1988 that It's a Crime was "a challenging and interesting game, but it may not be suited to everyone's taste's".Hainly September/October 1988. p. 10. He noted that although it appeared to be one of the least expensive PBM games available (at $1.50 per single turn in 1988), the phone coordination and diplomacy required meant that the "phone bills really went through the ceiling" during his experience in Game #12. It's a Crime entered the play-by- mail field strongly, but settled to below-average player reviews in subsequent years. It won the Origins Award for Best Play-by-Mail Game of 1986.The Game Manufacturer's Association 1986. In the November/December 1988 issue of Paper Mayhem, the game tied for #8 in the list of Best PBM Games of 1988.Paper Mayhem 1988. p. 2. The game won a second Origins Award as well—for Best Play- by-Mail Game of 1989.
The music video for the second single "Turn to You", which peaked at No. 32 in the US Billboard Hot 100, featured a starring role for rising-star actor Rob Lowe; the song was written about baseball pitcher Bob Welch, a one-time boyfriend of Charlotte Caffey. The video director, Mary Lambert, went on to work on several other videos, including hits by Madonna, and on films, such as Pet Sematary. The music video for the album's third single, "Yes or No", was released shortly before the group's breakup was announced, possibly hurting the song's sales and chart performance (peaked at No. 84). The flip side of "Head over Heels", "Good for Gone", did not appear on the initial album release, but was included in some CD releases of Talk Show, and also appeared on The Go-Go's 1994 boxed set of rarities, singles, deep cuts and new songs, "Return to the Valley of the Go-Go's".
Speaking to hip hop website HipHopDX in 2010 Khia stated that the album would consist of two halves, the first containing hip hop which she has been known for until now and the second half branching out into R&B;, something she had not done much up until that point. Khia released 5 singles from the album: "Been a Bad Girl", "So Addicted", "Spend It on Me", "Fix Ya Face"—a diss directed at rapper Lil' Kim—and "Pussy Bill", which was released on January 12, 2012. In 2010 Khia appeared on ABC News Now discussing the album, her "Been a Bad Girl" single and her relationship with former collaborator Janet Jackson as well as showing a clip of the "Been a Bad Girl" video which was filmed in New York and directed by Clifton Bell. In January 2013, Khia announced on her Twitter account that a video for her latest single "Turn U Out" would be filmed in mid-February, but the project has since been scrapped with the rapper beginning promotion for her fifth album Love Locs.
Several variants are equivalent to important graph parameters. Specifically, finding the number of pursuers necessary to capture a single evader with infinite velocity in a graph G (when pursuers and evader are not constrained to move turn by turn, but move simultaneously) is equivalent to finding the treewidth of G, and a winning strategy for the evader may be described in terms of a haven in G. If this evader is invisible to the pursuers then the problem is equivalent to finding the pathwidth or vertex separation. Finding the number of pursuers necessary to capture a single invisible evader in a graph G in a single turn (that is, one movement by the pursuers from their initial deployment) is equivalent to finding the size of the minimum dominating set of G, assuming the pursuers can initially deploy wherever they like (this later assumption holds when pursuers and evader are assumed to move turn by turn). The board game Scotland Yard is a variant of the pursuit-evasion problem.
From its release in the first generation to the fifth generation, Charizard failed to make a major impact on the competitive scene, to the point where it "wasn't seen in serious competitive play" and was "doomed...to be forgotten." This relative lack of viability, combined with its relentless popularity, gave it an unfavorable "reputation of a Pokémon that represents the fanboys." In VGC (Video Game Championship) the official competitive format for pokemon is a doubles format that started in Generation 4, and Charizard didn't start to have much presence until it gained it's Mega Charizard Y form in 2014 and 2015 where it's ability drought set up sun which could support it's team members by activating abilities like solar power and chlorophyll and halving damage from water attacks whilst also boosting it's already powerful heat waves and allow it to fire off single turn solar beams, it could also help it's team even more with tailwind. However in 2016 it fell from usage as Primal Groupon outclassed it as a sun setter and fire type.
Ryan did several appearances to European television channels in order to promote his album, including an appearance in TVP2, where he sang an unplugged version of "In the Morning" and Italy where he sang the Italian version of the first single Army of Lovers "Ho Te". Shortly after the release of the album Ryan released his second single, Turn Your Car Around, which was also moderately successful, doing no boost to the album sales, which remained outside the top 75 in the UK. January 2006 saw the release of the album's third single When I Think of You, which peaked at #15 on the UK Singles Chart and while it succeed in promoting the album's sales a bit, as the album re- entered the UK Albums Chart for four more weeks, it became Ryan's last release from the album in the United Kingdom. The album's fourth single, Real Love, was not released in the United Kingdom due to poor sales of the album and its former singles, however, the song was released across Europe and was used as the theme to the film Ice Age: The Meltdown. Ryan also secured a vocal role in the British version of the film.
