In 1987 director Charles Band began filming a short movie adaptation of The Evil Clergyman as part of an anthology film entitled Pulse Pounders. The film was intended to release the next year but was shelved after the closing of Empire International Pictures. Tommy's Atonement is a 1913 American silent film drama produced by Hardee Kirkland. The film stars Harry J. Lonsdale, Adrienne Kroell and Carl Winterhoff. The film status is uncertain but a release flier survives which is now at the Margaret Herrick Library at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, it was part of the Charles G. Clarke collection. Irving Allen (born Irving Applebaum, November 24, 1905 – December 17, 1987) was a theatrical and cinematic producer and director. He won an Academy Award in 1948 for producing the short movie Climbing the Matterhorn. In the early 1950s he formed Warwick Films with partner Albert "Cubby" Broccoli and relocated to England to leverage film making against a subsidy offered by the British government. Through the 1950s they each became known as one of the best independent film producers of the day, as the two would sometimes work in tandem, but more often than not on independent projects for their joint enterprise producing multiple projects in a given year.
Ray and Davidson invited American sportswriter and short movie producer, Grantland Rice, to vacation in the Ocala area and to be their guest on a tour of Silver Springs. While Rice was visiting the springs, he witnessed the aquatic abilities of Perry and was interested in what he saw. Rice set up his motion picture cameras to record the interesting footage of the swimmer both on the surface and under the surface of the water. Perry demonstrated his powerful freestyle up stream and then dove underwater to perform swimming backwards, somersaults, eating a banana, drinking a soda and other unusual underwater skills. He had stayed underwater for three minutes and 45 seconds.

In March 2010 Internet station Dandelion Radio broadcast a seventeen and a half-minute long Orb session track by Patterson and Fehlmann on the Andrew Morrison show. This new track was titled "Battersea Bunches" and was a remixed version of the soundtrack to a short movie of the same title by Mike Coles and Alex Patterson - a film installation to be seen at London's Battersea Power Station on 1June 2010 as part of an evening of art and music.
Graduated in TV and Cinema at the Roma Tre University with maximum grades, Raffaele Monti wrote, produced, directed and played his first short movie, On the life (Sulla vita), as his thesis in 2004. In the same year, On the life was presented at the Arcipelago International Film Festival in the section “Special Events”. On 16 December 2014, Marling announced that her fifth studio album would be titled Short Movie, and its title track, released on the same date, is the lead single and was made available for digital download. The album features 13 songs composed by Marling and was released in the UK on 23 March 2015 and one day later in the US. Marling began recording songs for the album shortly after completing the solo tour for Once I Was an Eagle. The songs were written in the U.S., reflecting Marling's experience of living in Los Angeles. In 2007 Jericevic left a serious business position to live and work in Budapest, Hungary to become a TV host of the national phone-in television game show Nova Lova for Nova TV. After that time he was invited to audition for a grand project My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad and got the part as the leading TV host. During that time Jericevic appeared in a theatre play Tablica Dijeljenja directed by Ivan Leo Lemo in HNK Pula, and went back to hosting phone-in game shows until the beginning of 2010. In 2012 Jericevic was cast as the main villain in the short movie Unexpected Delivery. He also appeared as criminal inspector in popular television series Ruža Vjetrova on RTL.
The WDR Radio Orchestra Cologne and the FILMharmonic Choir performing Symphonic Shades The two concerts were held back to back on August 23, 2008. The first performance took place at 20:00 and the second at 23:00 local time at the Funkhaus Wallrafplatz in downtown Cologne. Both concerts were preceded by a Meet and Greet session with the guest of honor Chris Hülsbeck, Yuzo Koshiro and Takenobu Mitsuyoshi. According to Ne-Yo, the idea for the album emerged from three influences: his desire to do something different instead of a standard compilation; his interest in science fiction, comic books and Japanese animation; and inspiration from the works of Michael Jackson, particularly Thriller, Moonwalker, and Bad. BURN-E was produced at the same time as WALL-E and was directed by the feature film's lead animator, Angus MacLane. Hooverdam is an album by Hugh Cornwell released in 2008 initially as a free digital download with a compact disc and vinyl version released later. A short movie entitled "Blueprint" chronicling the recording of the album had a limited release in cinemas in the UK and was released on a DVD which came with the CD. Some tracks like "Philip K. Ridiculous" and "Delightful Nightmare" echo the heavy bass lines previously present in early Stranglers records. The night after playing in Phoenix in his North America tour during March and August, Cornwell visited the Hoover Dam and recorded a video message there for his fans. He claims he gave the album its name because the Hoover Dam is a huge feat in human engineering and a monument to mankind.

Jaddo was born into a working class intellectual and artistic family that was forced to move frequently due to political turmoil in the Middle East. Her family escaped from Iraq and moved to Lebanon where she had studied biology at the American University of Beirut with plans to become a medical doctor but soon her family fled Lebanon when civil war broke out in the mid-'70s despite her staying to finish her degree, where she was sheltered by an American couple from San Diego. Following the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982, Jaddo came to the U.S. She attended Howard University where she completed her masters in a graduate film program. The short movie Aisha, was shot on a 35mm film while a film professor at Howard University and was filmed on the eve of the first American conflict with Iraq.

Galvin Deleon Guerrero, a teacher at Norther Marianas College and the principal of Saipan's Mount Carmel School, continued to work with students independently of Talk Story Studio. In 2017, he directed We Drank Our Tears: Francisco Babauta’s Story, a short movie about a family of islanders who lived on a cave to escape the Japanese during World War II. The film was shot in Ladder Beach and American Memorial Park in Saipan and the actors were students, or former students, of Guerrero's cinematography courses. We Drank Our Tears was nominated for several awards at the 2017 Guam International Film Festival. Guerrero went on to direct other short movies about the experiences of Norther Mariana islanders during World War II, including Benjamin Abadilla’s Story, which was also honored at the Guam International Film Festival, in 2018, where two of Guerrero's students, Angelo Manese and Justin Ocampo, presented another film in the same war series, Rafael Mafnas’ Story.
In 2008, she appeared in the documentary 9to5 – Days in Porn and also toured nationally as part of the "Sex Workers' Art Show" with other prominent members of the kink and sex-positivity community. Finally, in anticipation of the new full-length record, the band once again participated in Record Store Day on April 16, 2011, offering the 7" vinyl single, "Maybe Baby/Soul Singer.
