North American publisher Seven Seas Entertainment announced their license to the series on September 4, 2015.
Del Rey has not announced plans to re-release earlier volumes. The series is licensed for regional language releases in French by Glenat, in Spanish by Norma Editorial, and in Italian by Editions Star Comics. Egmont Manga & Anime licensed Rave Master for a German release, including serializing it in their monthly anthology Manga Power. Rave Master was one of the first manga series released in Spanish in North America by Public Square Books.
In 1996, Fukumoto began serializing Kaiji in Weekly Young Magazine. The series has become a hit, publishing over 70 volumes and selling over 20 million copies, sealing his popularity as a manga artist. Fukumoto donated 30 million yen to the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, and has contributed a supportive illustration. He has also visited the affected areas to sign and draw illustrations for the victims.
Serialization imposes large overheads when passing objects from one system to another, especially when the transfer is in human-readable formats such as Extensible Markup Language (XML) and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). This contrasts with compact binary formats for non-object-oriented data. Both encoding and decoding of the objects data value and its attributes are involved in the serializing process, which also includes awareness of complex issues such as inheriting, encapsulating, and data hiding.
In 2013 Atomeka relaunched their flagship title A1 in two formats through Titan Books. The first was a six-issue limited series serializing three strips — Carpe Diem, Odyssey, and Weirding Willows — over six months that were collected in 2014. SPARQL, the query language for RDF, uses a syntax similar to Turtle for expressing query patterns. In 2011, a working group of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) started working on an updated version of RDF, with the intention of publishing it along with a standardised version of Turtle. This Turtle specification was published as a W3C Recommendation on 25 February 2014. A significant proportion of RDF toolkits include Turtle parsing and serializing capability.
The style of artwork changes from strip to strip, sometimes in Clowes' familiar tight drawing style, sometimes more exaggeratedly cartoony. Azuma began serializing in 1975 his story Yakekuso Tenshi in the semimonthly manga magazine Play Comic. He also began publishing science fiction themed works in many different niche magazines such as Kisō Tengai and Peke. Azuma, together with Jun Ishikawa, is considered part of the manga creators in the 1970s. Due to works such as science fiction novel parody Fujōri Nikki, published in Bessatsu Kisō Tengai in 1978, Azuma began to gain a large following among science fiction fans.
Kyousuke Motomi began serializing the manga in Shogakukan's shōjo magazine Betsucomi on 13 March 2014. The series concluded on 13 May 2015, but was followed by a sequel called Queen's Quality, which debuted in the same magazine on 13 July 2015. Viz Media announced their license to the series on 6 February 2015, with plans to begin publishing it under their Shojo Beat imprint in October 2015. They announced their license to the sequel at Otakon in August 2016.
The 1940 short manga featured a powered, piloted, mechanical octopus. The 1943 Yokoyama Ryūichi's propaganda manga featured a sword-wielding, steam-powered, giant humanoid mecha. The first series in the mecha genre was Mitsuteru Yokoyama's 1956 manga Tetsujin 28-go (which was later animated in 1963 and also released abroad as Gigantor). He was inspired to become a manga creator by Osamu Tezuka, and began serializing the manga in Shonen, an iconic boy's magazine, in 1956.
Dengeki Comics released a one-volume manga adaptation of the novel in March 2000, after serializing it in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in 1999. The manga was illustrated by Toshihiro Ono and written by Aya Yoshinaga, who has also written the anime adaptation. Hiroyuki Morioka is also credited on the cover as the original creator. Much like the anime series, it covers all three volumes. It was licensed by Tokyopop and released in 2004, under the name Seikai Trilogy, Vol.
W Juliet was published by Hakusensha in Hana to Yume between 1997 and 2002 and collected in 14 bound volumes. It is licensed in North America by VIZ Media, in France by Pika Édition, in Spain by Panini Comics, in Germany by Carlsen Comics (which is serializing it in Daisuki), and in Sweden by Manga Media. A sequel series, W Juliet II, is ongoing in the irregularly published The Hana to Yume magazine, and collected in four volumes as of February 2015.
Starting from 2017, Weekly Shōnen Jump began serializing works made by manga artists who previously published their series on Shōnen Jump+, such as Taishi Tsutsui's We Never Learn, Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man, and Tsurun Hatomune's Mitama Security: Spirit Busters. 2019 was a year of breakthrough for the platform. Spy × Family, which was a new series in 2019, attracted many users to the app, especially female users. After it began serialization, the proportion of female users increased by 5% while 60%-65% were male.
A sequel to the second game Kin'iro no Corda 2: Encore was released for the same platform on September 20, 2007. The encore game added a new character, Mari Tsuzuki and made Akihiro Kira an obtainable character. Encore is like a side-game to the second game and is much shorter. According to LaLa, the magazine where the manga is serializing has announced that a new game titled Kin’iro no Corda 2: Forte is set to be released for the PlayStation Portable platform.

In October 1998, the Saber Marionette J to X TV series was first broadcast. The series ran for 26 episodes, concluding in March 1999. A manga titled Saber Marionette 2: Shiritsu Oedo Gakuen Koubouki started serializing in Fujimi Shobo's Gekkan Dragon Magazine in October 2000, but it was soon canceled. A manga titled Saber Marionette i − Neo Gene illustrated by Megane Ōtomo started its serialization in July 2008 in Fujimi Shobo's Gekkan Dragon Age and was finally compiled in one tankōbon.
TriX (Triples in XML) is a serialization format for RDF (Resource Description Framework) graphs. It is an XML format for serializing Named Graphs and RDF Datasets which offers a compact and readable alternative to the XML-based RDF/XML syntax. It was jointly created by HP Labs and Nokia. It is suggested that those digital artifacts dependent of the serialization format need means to verify immutability, or digital artifacts including datasets, code, texts, and images are not verifiable nor permanent.

Healing Hands was to be published as a print graphic novel by First Second Books. While still working on ComicSpace, Manley moved back to Louisville once again and began focusing on personal creative output through an online fiction workshop with a close circle of writers. In 2011, Manley began serializing a second novel online as a work-in-progress. Titled Snake- Boy Loves Sky Prince: a Gay Superhero Teen Romance, the book tells the story of a supervillain's minion falling in love with the son of a superhero. All of Manley's remaining webcomic services shut down in April 2013.

In September 2019, Itagaki's autobiographical manga series Paruno Graffiti began serialization in Kiss.
Previous to Java 8, there were multiple locks each serializing access to a 'segment' of the table. In Java 8, native synchronization is used on the heads of the lists themselves, and the lists can mutate into small trees when they threaten to grow too large due to unfortunate hash collisions. Also, Java 8 uses the compare-and-set primitive optimistically to place the initial heads in the table, which is very fast. Performance is O(n) but there are delays occasionally when rehashing is necessary.
Inspired by the Women's March in 2017, Dhaliwal began serializing Woman World on Instagram. The science fiction comic tells the story of the development of an all-woman civilization after men become extinct as a result of a birth defect. After amassing over 100,000 followers on Instagram, the strip was reworked for print and collected as a graphic novel published by Drawn and Quarterly in September, 2018. The Instagram version of Woman World was nominated for a 2018 Ignatz Award for Outstanding Online Comic.
In July 2001, Tokyopop announced that it had acquired the license and that it would be serializing the title in their Smile magazine starting in 2002. Smile discontinued publication that same year. Tokyopop released the first tankōbon volume of the series on January 21, 2003; the final volume was released on January 10, 2007. It was one of the first manga series that Tokyopop released in the original Japanese orientation, in which the book is read from right to left, and with the original sound effects left in place.

In 1993 Lutes began serializing a strip for The Stranger, which was collected in 1996 in the critically acclaimed graphic novel Jar of Fools. After two years of research, in 1996 Lutes embarked on the ambitious comic book series Berlin, an ongoing 22-chapter story set in the twilight years of Germany's Weimar Republic. When Berlin's original publisher Black Eye Productions closed in 1998, Drawn & Quarterly took over the series.
The series was also issued in a ten-volume box set in May 2007. The manga is licensed in North America by Viz Media, which began serializing it in Shojo Beat magazine in August 2007. It is also licensed in France by Kana, in Germany by Tokyopop Germany, and in Thailand by Bongkoch Comics. In commemoration of the success of the live action drama series, a two-chapter spin-off was released from 2006 to 2008, again written and illustrated by Umino Chika, bringing the story to a final close.
In 1986, Another Rainbow/Gladstone Publishing (and later Gemstone Publishing) began a tradition of serializing Gottfredson stories in regular Disney monthly comic books, which continued on and off until 2008, when they ceased publication. Gladstone also collected a number of Gottfredson's serials in the larger-size "comic albums" it issued during the 1980s;, in 1990, Disney Comics issued "Mickey Mouse Outwits the Phantom Blot" (1939) in the same format. In 1988 a selection of both the daily and Sunday strip were published by Another Rainbow Publishing in the book Mickey Mouse in Color.
Studios began serializing the multi-part Italian Wizards of Mickey epic from MM #296–299. It then spun off into its own title. (To date, there have been many "Wizards of Mickey" sagas produced and published in Italy, most yet unpublished in the USA.) As with Boom! Studios' other Disney- related titles, two versions of each issue of Mickey Mouse and Friends were released in early months; one with "Cover A," the other with "Cover B." Aside from the two different covers, the two versions of each issue were identical and had the same contents.
Izumi Tsubaki began serializing the manga in Square Enix's online magazine Gangan Online on August 25, 2011. As of August 2018, the series has been collected into ten tankōbon volumes. Apart from the comics, an official fanbook and an anthology manga (containing stories by Satsuki Yoshino (Barakamon), Yasunobu Yamauchi (Daily Lives of High School Boys), Tachibana Higuchi (Gakuen Alice), Shigeru Takao, and Dan Ichikawa) have also been published, both on August 22, 2014. North American publisher Yen Press announced their license to the series at Sakura-Con in April 2015.
Mag Garden was founded on June 5, 2001 by Yoshihiro Hosaka, who previously worked as an editor from Enix (now Square Enix) before leaving. It started out as a spin-out company from Enix's manga publishing division before the company merged with Square. The Square-Enix merger resulted in an uprising with some of the manga artist staff. Fearing their manga being dropped out of publication and tired of the harsh treatment, they left Square Enix to help create Mag Garden, where they would also continue serializing their series.
Huh had difficulty in designing the Pig Girl's mask and attempted several different designs which were rejected before arriving at the chosen mask, but cannot imagine Mu-Yeon wearing any other mask now. Yen Press licensed Pig Bride for an English-language release in North America and began serializing it in the manga anthology Yen Plus. The final issue of Yen Plus in July 2010 contained the conclusion to Pig Bride. The English localization process included Korean onomatopoeia and sound effects with the anglicized word followed by the English translations.
As of 2014, he has gone freelance. Two of Kumeta's latest serializations include Sekkachi Hakushaku to Jikan Dorobō, published in Weekly Shōnen Magazine from November 2013 to January 2015, and Nankuru Neesan (art by Yasu), published in Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd from February 2016 to February 2019. He is currently serializing Studio Pulp for Rakuen Le Paradis of Hakusensha and Kakushigoto in Monthly Shōnen Magazine. Ayamegumu began serializing a manga adaptation in Fujimi Shobo's Age Premium magazine in December 2014. Age Premium ceased publication with its 49th issue on July 9, 2016, and the manga was one of five titles that were transferred to Monthly Dragon Age. The manga has been licensed by Yen Press. Akira Segami launched a prequel manga, titled , adapted from the short story by the same name in Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody: Ex, in Fujimi Shobo's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Dragon Age on February 9, 2018.
In 1979, Park began serializing his first novel Lie Like a Leaf of Grass (Pullipcheoreom nupda) in the JoongAng Ilbo, which would become known as his signature work. In 1984, Weekly Shōnen Jump began serializing Toriyama's Dragon Ball, which became an instant hit. As of 2014, it had sold 159.5million tankōbon copies in Japan alone, making it Shueisha's second best-selling manga of all time. The series was first published in 2017 as a web comic on the comedy website Omocoro under the title . Kadokawa collected the series as a tankōbon bound volume in March 2018, and began serializing new chapters of series as Seiri- chan in its manga magazine Monthly Comic Beam in November 2018. That same month, Yen Press announced that it would publish an English-language translation of the series under the title Little Miss P, with the first volume released in June 2019. A Little Miss P stuffed toy was released in April 2019 to commemorate the release of the manga's second volume.
Collier's Issues in Detail Serializing novels during the late 1920s, Collier's sometimes simultaneously ran two ten-part novels, and non-fiction was also serialized. Between 1913 and 1949, Sax Rohmer's Fu Manchu serials, illustrated by Joseph Clement Coll and others, were hugely popular. The first three Fu Manchu novels by Rohmer were actually compilations of 29 short stories that Rohmer wrote for Collier’s. The Mask of Fu Manchu, which was adapted into a 1932 film and a 1951 Wally Wood comic book, was first published as a 12-part Collier's serial, running from May 7 to July 23, 1932.
September 1, 2015 On its 20th anniversary during September 2015, Suck founders Carl Steadman and Joey Anuff and former editors Ana Marie Cox, Heather Havrilesky, and Tim Cavanaugh appeared at the festival XOXO, their first appearance on stage together. In an interview with Engadget, Anuff said Suck couldn't exist today, citing the reduced value of opinions and shorter attention spans. During the autumn of 2015, software developer Mark MacDonald began serializing the website's archive in an email newsletter, which is sent on a daily basis 20 years-to-the-day after original publication on Suck.com.Bralker, Brian Gen Xers rejoice: Suck.
Big Fantastic started as an ambitious attempt by Douglas Cheney, Chris McCaleb, Ryan Wise, and Chris Hampel to revolutionize the web series phenomenon by serializing dramatic content into a short, daily 90 second format. The company also expands their product into the metaverse by giving the characters in their shows MySpace pages and Blogs. Big Fantastic originally was funded completely out of their own pockets, but has now made deals with Warner Brothers, Vuguru, Generate LA-NY, 60 Frames and other companies for further productions. The Big Fantastic company was Emmy nominated twice for the Outstanding Broadband Drama award in 2007.

The paper went from strength to strength and outgrew its primitive origins in a hand-fed printer and in 1876 a Victory printing and folding machine was acquired with a capacity of printing 16,000 copies an hour. The Tillotsons remained owners of the Evening News into the latter part of the 20th century, but the days of family-owned newspapers were drawing to a close and in 1971 the Tillotsons sold the company to St Regis International of New York. From then on change happened rapidly.
SD Gundam originated from a contributed illustration of a junior student from Nagoya by the name of Koji Yokoi to the "Model News" magazine that Bandai was issuing in the 1980s. The illustration is of a Gundam but with an unusual proportion where the overall height of the Gundam is equal to twice that of its head. This illustration interested the chief editor and led to Koji Yokoi serializing SD Gundam in 4 frame comics in "Model News". The super deformed designs were suitable for capsule toys, and so they were first merchandised as small SD Gundam-shaped erasers as part of the Gashapon series SD Gundam World in 1985.
In the 1880s he began serializing novels that further increased his popularity. "The Crystal Egg" is a science fiction short story written by H. G. Wells in 1897. The story tells of a shop owner, named Mr. Cave, who finds a strange crystal egg that serves as a window into the planet Mars. The story was written the same year in which Wells was serializing The War of the Worlds in Pearson's Magazine, a year before it was published as a novel. Because of the vaguely similar descriptions of the Martians and their machines, "The Crystal Egg" is often considered a precursor to The War of the Worlds, though there is no clear foreshadowing of the events that transpire in the novel.
The parallel ATA protocols up through ATA-3 require that once a command has been given on an ATA interface, it must complete before any subsequent command may be given.
