View state is turned on by default and normally serializes the data in every control on the page regardless of whether it is actually used during a postback. This behavior can (and should) be modified, however, as View state can be disabled on a per-control, per- page, or server-wide basis. Sticky keys is an accessibility feature of some graphical user interfaces to assist users who have physical disabilities or help users reduce repetitive strain injury (or a syndrome called the Emacs Pinky). To avoid these problems and guarantee that logically-identical XML documents give identical digital signatures, an XML canonicalization transform (frequently abbreviated C14n) is employed when signing XML documents (for signing the `SignedInfo`, a canonicalization is mandatory). Luffy, whose body gained the properties of rubber when he accidentally ate a supernatural fruit, as he travels the oceans in search of the series' eponymous treasure and organizes a diverse crew of pirates, named the Straw Hats. In Japan, the series is published by Shueisha – chapterwise in the manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 22, 1997 and in tankōbon (collected volumes making up from about 10 to 12 chapters) format since December 24, 1997. In North America, Viz Media currently serializes One Piece in its digital anthology magazine Weekly Shonen Jump simultaneously with Japan.

A column-oriented system serializes all of the values of a column together, then the values of the next column. For our example table, the data would be stored in this fashion; 10:001,12:002,11:003,22:004;Smith:001,Jones:002,Johnson:003,Jones:004;Joe:001,Mary:002,Cathy:003,Bob:004;40000:001,50000:002,44000:003,55000:004; The difference can be more clearly seen in this common modification: ...;Smith:001,Jones:002,004,Johnson:003;... Two of the records store the same value, "Jones", therefore it is now possible to store this in the column- oriented system only once instead of twice. For many common searches, like "find all the people with the last name Jones", the answer can now be retrieved in a single operation. Whether or not a column-oriented system will be more efficient in operation depends heavily on the operations being automated.
