Valay Shende (15 September 1980, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India) is a sculptor and artist. In 1999 he received his diploma in Art Teaching from Govt. Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, and then he went on to train at the Sir Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy School of Art, Mumbai, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpturing in 2004. Shende later completed an artist residency at the Open 'Air' Program, Point Éphémère, Paris in 2006.
The mesosoma, propodium, legs and gaster have a reticulated sculpturing to the exoskeleton, with pits in the centers of the reticulations. Similarly the peduncular segments are reticulated with pits, though the reticulation is denser than on the propodium. The center of the first gastral sternite is distinctly shiny. Each of the pits has a thin hair growing from it and which lies flat along the exoskeleton, and similar hairs are present on the gaster.
In the study of Cephalotes by de Andrade and Baroni Urbani C. dieteri was grouped into the coffeae clade consisting of seven extinct species and four extant species. The clade shares two, possibly three distinct features between the species. Segment three of the abdomen is modified into a post petiole which in turn is modified to have large side wings. Additionally the first sternite of the gaster has a simple reticulated surface sculpturing.
Angelo Frattini sculpturing a bust of Umberto II of SavoiaBorn in Varese on November 10, 1910, Angelo Frattini became an orphan at the age of 9. His artistic formation took place initially in Naples and subsequently in Milan. Frattini served his Italian military service in Naples, where he attended Giovanni De Martino's evening classes and got to know Gemito's sculpture. In Naples he also frequented the Galleria d’Arte Moderna and the National Archeological Museum.
There are separate enclosures for Kamban, Ilango Adigal and Thiruvalluvar. V. Ganapati Sthapati, temple architect and builder from Karaikudi, designed, constructed and did the sculpturing work of the temple. The idol of Tamil Thai installed in the temple is not worshiped in the same way as the idols installed in other temples. The Tamil Thai temple remains closed except during the Kamban Vizha which happens during the month of April every year.
Marél von Steinling studied from 1954 until 1958 at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich, including painting with Professor Erich Glette and sculpturing with Professor Heinrich Kirchner. Additionally, she took a training in the pedagogy of the arts. Already as a young artist she had exhibitions worldwide, – see description of the exhibition in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris. On the 30th of June 1960, she married Franz-Leo Freiherr Spies von Büllesheim.
In the 1980s he had converted a North Hollywood garage into a studio and was spending much time there painting. He said that he was hanging out with Santa Monica-based sculptor, Jim Casey who was teaching him the way he wanted to learn. 18 months prior to his being interviewed for the article he had taken up sculpturing. His first one was a bust of Duke Ellington then one of Billy Eckstine.
An additional anterior expansion of the neural spine is seen in all vertebrae after the 14th. These expanded distal regions exhibit some sculpturing, and may have penetrated the dermis. Another unusual characteristic of hupehsuchians is the presence of dermal plates over the neural spines of the approximately 34 presacral vertebrae. A small dermal bone overlies each space between the posterior expansion of one distal neural spine and the anterior expansion of the one behind it.
According to American paleontologist Kenneth Carpenter, the greater width of both the holotype and the referred specimen was due to crushing. Vertebrate anatomist and paleontologist Michael Burns in 2015 published an abstract that concluded that Denversaurus was different from Edmontonia but similar to Panoplosaurus in having inflated, convex, cranial sculpturing with visible sulci, or troughs, between individual top skull armour elements, but is distinct from Panoplosaurus in having a relatively wider snout.
These have a straight hinge line which is exactly in line with the umbones. There are 18 to 20 broad radial ribs which are more prominent and have larger interstices between them on the right valve. There is also sculpturing in the form of concentric growth rings. Some or all of the ribs on the left valve are pink, orange or mauve, while the colour of the right valve is entirely white.
Derived from the Latin "magnus", the species name magna was selected as a reference to the large size of the species. The two described gynes are preserved in lateral view, with the holotype being mostly complete and paratype specimen missing the head. The estimated body length for the holotype is with a long mesosoma. The head is covered with a distinct sculpturing of small pits, and the front edge of the clypeus is rounded as in other Protopone species.
Praising the band's "distinctive voice", Popmatters' Craig Hayes observed that Vermis extended the band's "continually refined" creative trajectory by "bringing more artful sculpturing to its downtuned dissonance and complex time signatures, and setting that against a backdrop of often droning and industrial textures. The band’s work has evolved to become steadily more nerve-shredding and formidable, with the usual riff-based shreds of death metal mutilated into a seething and polychromatic canvas of avant-garde atmospherics".
LCB Pittsburgh provided industry-style kitchens for student training. The facilities included a skill development kitchen; a stock, soup and sauce kitchen; a meat and poultry kitchen; a seafood/charcuterie kitchen; a pastry kitchen; a garde manger/classical/international cuisine kitchen; and multipurpose kitchens. The pâtisserie and baking kitchens included an American-style bakery kitchen, artisan bread kitchen, European-style pastry kitchen, cold and frozen dessert specialty kitchen, and a chocolate, candy and artistic sculpturing kitchen.
Born in Kandalloor, a small village in Alappuzha district of Kerala, Sunil is a diploma holder in Fine Arts from Madhava Fine Arts College, Kerala. Sunil's life took a turn 16 years ago when a photograph of the wax models of Fidel Castro and Jesse Owens published by a magazine caught his eye. It was then he decided to try wax sculpting. He did a short course in sculpturing and started experimenting with clay models and later with wax.
It is the only species of Hesperornis for which a nearly complete skull is known. Hesperornis crassipes was named in 1876 by Marsh, who initially classified it in a different genus as Lestornis crassipes. H. crassipes was larger than H. regalis, had five ribs as opposed to four in the first species, and differed in aspects of the bone sculpturing on the breastbone and lower leg. H. crassipes is known from the same time and place as H. regalis.
The Chalcididae are a moderate-sized family within the Chalcidoidea, composed mostly of parasitoids and a few hyperparasitoids. The family is apparently polyphyletic, though the different subfamilies may each be monophyletic, and some may be elevated to family status in the near future. As presently defined, there are over 85 genera and over 1460 species worldwide. They are often black with yellow, red, or white markings, rarely brilliantly metallic, with a robust mesosoma and very strong sculpturing.
The Leucospidae (sometimes incorrectly spelled Leucospididae) are a specialized group of wasps within the superfamily Chalcidoidea, that are ectoparasitoids of aculeate wasps or bees. They are typically mimics of bees or stinging wasps, often black with yellow, red, or white markings, sometimes metallic, with a robust mesosoma and very strong sculpturing. The hind femora are often greatly enlarged, with a row of teeth or serrations along the lower margin as in Chalcididae. The wing has a longitudinal fold.
A body redesign for 1968 featured sweeping "S-shape" side sculpturing, while the wagon's roof replaced the previously-used split main skylight with a one-piece skylight over the second-row seat, which carried over to 1969. The lengthwise skylights along the cargo area remained the same. The 1964–69 Sport Wagon models rode on a wheelbase."1967, 1968, 1969 Buicks" by the Auto Editors of Consumer Guide, 5 June 2007, retrieved on 1 April 2009.
The Diochus electrus type specimen is a well preserved fully complete female with a total body length of . The head is ovoid in shape and has fine sculpturing with sporadic punctations. The antenna do not have a geniculate structure, which indicates placement of the species into the tribe Diochini. Though similar to the genus Coomania, the neck of D. electrus is more robust, with Coomania having a neck that is approximately a fifth the width of the head.
There are rounded rectangular carinae surrounding each of the oval eyes, and the ocelli are placed equidistantly from each other on the flat area of the head. There are scattered short setae on both gena and the clypeus. The lower margin of the clypeus has 20 denticles and a row of eight to ten longer setae that point toward the mandibles. The mesosoma is smooth with little sculpturing other than the protruding spiracles and the deep distinct metanotal groove.
Kingsley attained skills in sculpturing and was well known for his crafts in crafting dental prosthesis. He won two gold medals in a row at World's fair Competitions in New York City (1853) and Paris (1855). He published a report of the case, a child with a V-shaped alveolar arch, in 1858 in the New York Dental Journal. In 1859, Kingsley created an artificial palate of soft vulcanized India rubber for his first patient with a cleft palate.
In 2016 he provided concept arts for "The Roadside Picnic", at the same time creating artworks including augmented and virtual reality. Since 2018 he has been creating 3D digital artworks in the space of virtual reality by virtual sculpturing through the Oculus Medium. Now he is an art director of Spheroid Universe project, who is supervising the augmented reality installations made by ther artists His artworks are shown in the State Museum of Urban Sculpture as well as in the UGallery, USA.
These include camouflage, mimicry, toxicity and active defense. Camouflage is an important defense strategy, which involves the use of coloration or shape to blend into the surrounding environment. This sort of protective coloration is common and widespread among beetle families, especially those that feed on wood or vegetation, such as many of the leaf beetles (family Chrysomelidae) or weevils. In some of these species, sculpturing or various colored scales or hairs cause the beetle to resemble bird dung or other inedible objects.
It also provided ample space for decoration to suit local traditions.(Neal 1955:9) A percussion cap lock mechanism styled on the patilla and romanlock pattern miquelets was used on pistols and sporting guns right up to the advent of the cartridge firearm. Sculpturing of the hammer in the form of wildlife (lions, dogs, mythical beasts, or fish) was a common practice on these percussion miquelet locks. Miquelets fashioned in this way were particularly well represented by the gunmakers of Eibar.
His artistic career began with painting with watercolors for Al Tayyar Model school, and making clay facial sculptures of fellow villagers, including his father, grandmother, grandfather, and some of the elderly in his village. Then he began sculpturing faces on stones from a river located nearby, some of these sculptures included Gamal Abdel Nasser among others. After completing his primary education in the village, he moved to Sana'a to continue his studies. Then he joined the Chinese art school architecture department.
Cephalotes coffeae, type species for the clade In the study of Cephalotes by de Andrade and Baroni Urbani C. alveolatus was grouped into the coffeae clade consisting of seven extinct species and four extant species. The clade shares two, possibly three distinct features between the species. Segment three of the abdomen is modified into a post petiole which in turn is modified to have large side wings. Additionally the first sternite of the gaster has a simple reticulated surface sculpturing.
The sculpture has 7.5 metres height and was made of the trunk of a fifty years old eucalyptus tree with a chainsaw. The tree had no chance to survive due to serious infestation by wood-decay fungus, therefore with an intervention it was kept instead of being cut. The tree was made the object of specific natural values of Sintra Mountains. The totem of the farmyard of Monserrate was created by a Welsh artist (Nansi Hemming) who is experienced at wood sculpturing.
In 1998, Ben-Ami began to learn gold and silversmith at the Jerusalem Technological Center. She continued her studies in 1992 and enrolled in the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. where she studied sculpting. In 2003, her exhibition, "Soft – Iron Sculpturing", was presented in seven museums around the United States, a museum in Taiwan and galleries in Paris and Rome. In 2005, she sculpted "Roots", which represented Israel in an international exhibition honouring 60 years of the United Nations in Geneva.
O. semirugosa is the newest addition to the genus and the fourth species in the subgenus O. (Oligochlora). The holotype is a female specimen, number KU-DR-21 in the collections of the University of Kansas Natural History Museum, is named from the Latin semi meaning "half" or "partial" and rugosus meaning, "wrinkled". This name refers to the species' distinct rugulose gena which along with the pronotal angle, the partially and sculpturing of the face, mesosoma, and metasomal terga are unique.
The jade is said to have originated nearby in Taiwan and is also found in many other areas in insular and mainland Southeast Asia. These artifacts are said to be evidence of long range communication between prehistoric Southeast Asian societies. Nephrite, otherwise known as Jade, is a mineral widely used throughout Asia as ornaments or for decorative purposes. The oldest jade artefacts in Asia (6000 BC) were found in China where they were used as the primary hardstone of Chinese sculpturing.
The diverse uses of the light, the thickness of the lines and the colours, and their density pave the way to gross geometric forms. His oil paintings are the outcome of a hard and dense work process, and give the impression that they are magnified by sculpturing. His colossal works and his paintings resemble the historical art works that are consist of archaeological fragments and figures. However, the most enchanting form he adopts is the glitter of his genuine light globes.
Much of the finest work done by Ellin & Kitson has been in the magnificent group of private residences which have been the nucleus of our American art life ...sculpturing formalizing their partnership with emphasis in churches. They have been noted as specialty contractors in many buildings from NYC to Boston. Please see Ellin & Kitson for a list of some of the buildings with which they are associated. In 1900 census he is noted to be living in Westchester, New York.
The front fenders projected 4.625 inches further forward than in 1962 while the tailfins were trimmed down somewhat to provide a lower profile. Body side sculpturing was entirely eliminated in favor of smooth, flatter slab sides. The slightly V-shaped radiator grille was taller and now incorporated outer extensions that swept below the dual headlamps and housed small circular front parking lamps. The Eldorado also had a rectangular front and rear grille pattern that it again shared with the Fleetwood Sixty Special.
Uday Shankar Pani was born in east (Odisha), brought up in North (Delhi), studied in a south Indian school (Kannada) and is now settled in west (Mumbai). While growing up he was into painting cartoons, theatre, sculpturing, sports but never had any interest in cinema. He wanted to join the army but NDA rejected him and his attempts to clear dozens of competitive exams were also unsuccessful. He finally managed to get selected in Film & TV Institute of India in Pune.
The valve dentition generally consisted of a series of short, transverse teeth along the anterior edge and a few more elongated teeth along the sides. Shells of the included genera range from having radial sculpturing to not having any radial sculpture. Several of the species have an early growth period in which the valve ligament is anchored in a single pit in the shell. When the species size exceeded approximately the ligament attachment would develop to encompass two or more pits.
He decided to celebrate his twentieth birthday in Paris, the capital of art at the time. Rabinowitz was admitted to the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He stayed there for five years (1960–1965) and refused the customary specialization, enrolling in as many ateliers (drawing, litho, painting, sculpturing) as possible. Apart from creating numerous individual drawings, paintings, and sculptures, Rabinowitz has won a number of important art contests, thus realizing many large mural paintings and a number of sculptures.
Barre is a granite mining town with a tradition of sculpturing. It is linked with Carrara in Italy, which has a much longer but similar tradition with marble sculpture. According to the University of Vermont, in 1905, the Roman Catholic Granite workers of Barre, many of whom were Italian immigrants, took the unusual step of importing marble from Carrara to complete their church altar. Indeed, many of Barre's granite sculptors had immigrated from Carrara itself in 1883, bringing their needed skills to the town.
Two skull bones, the lacrimal and postorbital bones, projected into the eye socket from the front and back, nearly dividing it into two compartments. The eye would have been located in the upper compartment, which was tilted slightly outwards in Carnotaurus, perhaps providing some degree of binocular vision. The lacrimal and postorbital also met above the eye socket, to form a ridge or brow above the eye. Sculpturing is seen on many of the skull bones, in the form of long grooves, pits, and protrusions.
The problem was that sculptures at home were much more in line with modernism so other artist and professionals did not pay much attention to Sotler's art. Furthermore, studying in Zagreb broke the continuum of sculpturing in his home town, which resulted in his lack of success to receive a public commission. He withdrew into the world of intimate plastic. He also shared his studio with a painter Marjan Dovjak for a couple of years and made an unusual portrait of the artist during that time.
The same works however were praised by his peers, who considered him to be the leader of the new art movement. In 1895 Victor once again left Moscow School of painting, sculpturing and architecture and enrolled in Fernand Cormon's school in Paris. He studied there for three years, returning in summer months to Saratov. He was fascinated by the art of his French contemporaries, and especially by the paintings of "the father of French Symbolism" Pierre Puvis de Chavannes and by the work of Berthe Morisot.
Mouldings are also seen in the mandapam, the hand rails of the steps (sopanam) and even in the drain channel (pranala) or the shrine cell. The sculptural work is of two types. One category is the low relief done on the outer walls of the shrine with masonry set in lime mortar and finished with plaster and painting. The second is the sculpturing of the timber elements – the rafter ends, the brackets, the timber columns and their capitals, door frames, wall plates and beams.
Edmund Reitter (April 21, 1904 - March 17, 2005) was an Austrian sculptor. He submitted some of his work into the Statues event of the "Mixed Sculpturing" category of the art competitions at the 1948 Summer Olympics, but did not win a medal. Born in Bratislava, he trained as a gymnast prior to and during his study of architecture and sculpture and won a national gymnastics competition in Bratislava in 1931. His sculptures, which often centered on sports figures, were exhibited in galleries across Europe.
Passengers leaving the station first descend on a short escalator ride into an underground vestibule, and then ascend the long way to the surface. The new exit also allows access to the 35th mosaic, which was previously hidden behind the service section. Other mosaic works were designed from scratch, accompanied by ample use of marble and stainless steel sculpturing. The bust of the poet Vladimir Mayakovsky was moved to the new surface vestibule, whose ceiling was also decorated with a mosaic composition from Mayakovsky's poem "Moscow Sky".
The valves are asymmetric and wedge shaped, the anterior end being rounded and longer than the obliquely truncated posterior end. They show a fine sculpturing of transverse and longitudinal grooves and the margin is finely serrated. The annual growth rings can be seen and these are often more deeply pigmented than the rest of the shell There may also be pale radial rays. On the inside of the shell, the muscle scars are indistinct and the oval pallial sinus extends to the middle of the valve.
Oardasaurus (meaning "Oarda de Jos lizard") is an extinct genus of lizard from the latest Cretaceous of Romania. It is a member of the Barbatteiidae, a group of lizards closely related to the Teiidae. At in length, it was much smaller than the only other named member of the Barbatteiidae, Barbatteius, which lived slightly later. Like Barbatteius, Oardasaurus can be identified by the presence of a crust of bone deposits, or osteoderms, on the roof of its skull; it differs from Barbatteius in the pattern of the sculpturing on this crust.
The surface ornamentation on the nuchal plate is tuberculated and on the AVL plate, the ornamentation is tuberculated as there are tubercles that are arranged in parallel rows. On the postpineal plate some tubercles fuse to form small ridges and some of these radiate from the center of the plate. The middle pit-line groove is well marked and connected to the supratemporal pit- line groove, in turn linked to an external openings for the endolymphatic duct. Asterolepis is part of the family Asterolepididae which was characterized by tuberculated surface sculpturing.
He asks the woman to leave without either of them knowing the other's name. The next morning, she appears to have left and the man goes to tend his bonsai. He understands the tree and that it cannot be ordered to grow in a particular way but can only be given gentle guidance as part of a long, slow sculpturing process which could sculpt the man as much as the tree. The woman, who has been observing the man in secret, accuses him of being angry and frightened.
The pink scallop has two convex valves joined together by a hinge joint and grows to a diameter of about . Each valve has an umbo or knoblike protuberance from which 20 to 30 shallow ridges radiate to the margin at the other side of the shell. The left valve is usually uppermost as it lies on the seabed and is some shade of red intermixed with white streaks. The annual growth rings can be seen and there is concentric sculpturing parallel to the margin, often in a different shade of pink.
B. canadensis head, anterodorsal view The holotype worker is long with an head and a Weber's length of . Much of the body is the same coloration as the surrounding amber, while the lower half of the propodeum and underside of the gaster are a brown to black tone. Additionally the undersides of the coxae plus the upper halves of the tibiae are brown to black, while the upper surfaces of the head and pronotum are an opaque black tone. There is no distinct sculpturing to the exoskeleton surface.
Ces53 started as a traditional graffiti writer, one of the first to paint graffiti on trains in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.Wholecars , Aragon,1996, He became world-famous because of his high-quality graffiti paintings, also adopted more traditional art forms during the years, including painting and sculpturing. He became renowned for his innovative styles,Graffiti Art #10, Scwarzkopf & Scwarzkopf,1999, quantity of work, and gained a lot of fame and followers within the graffiti community. Since 2005 Ces53 is also part of Lastplak, a world-famous Dutch street art collective.
Various terms also describe the sculpturing such as reticulate, a net like appearance consisting of elements (murus, muri) separated from each other by a lumen (plural lumina). These reticulations may also be referred to as brochi. The pollen wall protects the sperm while the pollen grain is moving from the anther to the stigma; it protects the vital genetic material from drying out and solar radiation. The pollen grain surface is covered with waxes and proteins, which are held in place by structures called sculpture elements on the surface of the grain.
The roof structure in timber was covered with palm leaf thatching for most buildings and rarely with tiles for palaces or temples. The exterior of the laterite walls were either left as such or plastered with lime mortar to serve as the base for mural painting. The sculpturing of the stone was mainly moulding in horizontal bands in the plinth portion (adhistans) whereas the carving of timber covered all elements _ pillars, beams, ceiling, rafters and the supporting brackets. The Kerala murals are paintings with vegetable dyes on wet walls in subdued shades of brown.
Kitamura submitted some of his work into an unknown event of the "Mixed Sculpturing" category of the art competitions at the 1932 Summer Olympics, but did not win a medal. He is known as the sculptor of the 10-meter-tall Peace Statue in Nagasaki Peace Park. The statue and the park are near the hypocentre where the atomic bomb exploded on 9 August 1945. The design for the statue was selected in an open contest, and unveiled to the public on 1 April 1955 when the park opened.
Majungasaurus is classified as a member of the theropod clade Abelisauridae, which is considered a family in Linnaean taxonomy. Along with the family Noasauridae, abelisaurids are included in the superfamily Abelisauroidea, which is in turn a subdivision of the infraorder Ceratosauria. Abelisaurids are known for their tall skulls with blunt snouts, extensive sculpturing on the outer surfaces of the facial bones (convergent with carcharodontosaurids), very reduced (atrophied) forelimbs (convergent with tyrannosaurids), and stocky hindlimb proportions, among other features. As with many dinosaur families, the systematics (evolutionary relationships) within the family Abelisauridae are confused.
Despite being a medical scientist, Gandevia also attended classes at the Waverley Woollahra Art Centre and later at the Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School to learn sculpting where he engaged primarily in sandstone carving. Through a series of workshops with Paul Hopmeier, he was able to develop skills in carving limestone. He explored the incorporation of found objects in sculpturing by partaking in sessions delivered by Anita Larkin. Simon Gandevia makes weekly additions to his ‘2 Minute Sculpture Series’ with sculptures he creates from wood and stone amongst other media.
Hula Painted Frog or Discoglossues/Latonia nigriventer is the only extant species in the latonia genus and is the closest living relative to Latonia ragei In 1993, Hossini was the person to describe a new species of frog, Latonia ragei. Evidence for the species came from the fossil record in three localities: Coderet, Laugnac and 'St Gerand-Le-Puy'. The discovery and identification of a Latonia mandible, led to the classification of this species as new to science. In other examples of ragei, Hossini worked on maxilla surface sculpturing to produce identification.
Argos experienced its greatest period of expansion and power under the energetic 7th century BC ruler King Pheidon. Under Pheidon, Argos regained sway over the cities of the Argolid and challenged Sparta’s dominance of the Peloponnese. Spartan dominance is thought to have been interrupted following the Battle of Hyssiae in 669-668 BC, in which Argive troops defeated the Spartans in a hoplite battle.Mackil, Emily, Tyrants in Seventh Century Greece, Lecture, September 20, 2018 During the time of its greatest power, the city boasted a pottery and bronze sculpturing school, pottery workshops, tanneries and clothes producers.
The species is characterised by wart-like sculpturing and is "presently impossible to interpret". Pollen matching the description of D. senonicus has been found in formations of the Arabian Peninsula dating to as early as the Middle Cretaceous to late Upper Cretaceous, and it has been suggested that this species may represent an early palm taxon. Unidentified Droseridites palynomorphs have been recorded from numerous sites in India, including the Miocene Cuddalore Formation (Neyveli Lignitefield, Tamil Nadu), the Palaeocene Tura Formation (Langrin Coalfield, Khasi Hills, Meghalaya), the Palaeocene Seam No. 1 (Rekmangiri Coalfield, Garo Hills, Meghalaya), and the Oligocene-Neogene Dharmsala and Siwalik.
In 1963 Waalkens organized an exhibition along the public road in the municipality under the title "statues in Finsterwolde" with the sculpture of ten artists. This evolved into the 1967 exhibition along the public road of 200 sculptures by 63 artists, which stretched from the city of Groningen to the east of the province of Groningen. In 1997 Waalkens organized his last notable exhibition, named the Koetekendagen (Cow-drawing-days), whereby thirty artists were presented drawing, painting or sculpturing cows. In 2000 Waalkens received the Benno Premsela Prize from the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts for his stimulating attitude towards artists.
The morphology of the maxilla represents a more derived condition than that seen in Oromycter, where the anterior edge of the dorsal process is a sharp ridge, and the distinctive anterolateral narial shelf is restricted to the lacrimal bone. On the anterior lateral surface of the maxilla a single large anteriorly oriented foramen is present in Arisierpeton, instead of a series of relatively large labial foramina situated along the external surface of the bone. External surface sculpturing is also more modest than in Oromycter and is restricted to faint grooves associated with small foramina on the surface of the bone.
After the war when he returned to Budapest he discovered that his parents and sister had survived, but many other family members had been murdered in the gas chambers at Auschwitz. In 1945, he changed his surname from Hoffmann to Kishont and returned to Hungary, where he continued to study art and writing. In 1948 he completed his studies in metal sculpturing and art history and began publishing humorous articles under the name Franz Kishunt. In 1949 he immigrated to the newly founded state of Israel, together with his first wife Eva (Chawa) Klamer, to escape the Communist regime.
One of the most challenging sequences to create was the opening real-time cutscene for the Limsa Lominsa story route: the giant sea serpent's fins were each individually animated. The game's opening cinematic was produced by Visual Works, Square Enix's in-house CGI development company. All the in-game models were first created in high- resolution form using a 3D sculpturing program, then readjusted so they could appear in the game with a lower polygon count but equivalent graphical quality. Another large part of creating the characters was their accessories: to help with this, the team developed a multi-layered development system.
The genus name is a derived from a combination of the Mayan word maat for "amber" and "idesmus", which is used frequently as a genus suffix in the family Chelodesmidae. The specific epithet paachtun was coined from a combination of the Mayan words paach meaning "back" and tun meaning "stone", a reference to the distinct sculpturing and lobing on the collum and lobe- bearing tergites. M. paachtun is one of three millipede species described from Mexican amber, the others being Anbarrhacus adamantis and Parastemmiulus elektron, while a number of other species have been described from the similarly aged Dominican amber.

Photos from International Conference in Nashville, TN Many of its members are involved in ministries that not only share the Gospel and entertain through the use of illusions but also by using puppetry, ventriloquism, clowning, balloon sculpturing, drama, storytelling, chalk art, face art, juggling and other visual arts; as a result they include all these art forms at our training conventions, regional conferences and in their magazine, The Voice. The International Fellowship of Christian Magicians has an annual convention that moves across the country, but is currently held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their website is found at www.FCM.org.
Rizzi graduated from University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He came up with the idea of 3D multiples now mostly associated with his name when, having taken classes in painting, printmaking and sculpturing, he had to hand in grade work for all three subjects, but only had time for doing one. So he created an etching, printed it twice, handcolored it, and mounted parts of the one print on top of the other, using wire as a means of adding depth. Having received good grades from all three teachers, he stuck with the idea and developed it further.
Herefordopterus banksii was first considered a species of Himantopterus (a genus now considered synonymous with Slimonia), H. banksii, by John William Salter in 1856, making it one of the oldest eurypterid species. The first fossils, discovered in Kington, include the prosoma (head) and fragmentary remains of the nine first segments. Salter noted a scale-like sculpturing on its forward margin and related the species to H. lanceolatus (now tentatively placed in the genus Nanahughmilleria). He decided to dedicate the specific name banksii to Richard Banks of Kington, who found several well- preserved specimens of Himantopterus and sent them to Salter.
Richard-Willm was born in south- western France in the city of Bayonne. His mother, Elisabeth-Fanny Willm, died at the age of thirty-one, and he was raised by his maternal grandmother. He attended the Beaux-Arts School, in Nantes between 1913 and 1914, then in 1916 he joined the army, and fought during World War I. After the war he became a sculptor, and in 1921 he started playing bit roles on stage. In 1924 he took part of in the sculpturing art competition of the Games of the VIII Olympiad, making a group of sculptures on rugby and skating.www.sports-reference.
A drink being poured down an ice luge at an ice bar in Rochester, Minnesota An ice luge formed in the shape of the number 21 An ice luge, martini luge, or shooter-block is a type of ice sculpture made from a large block of ice that has a narrow channel carved through where liquid is poured, such as liquor products. Some are professionally produced from sculpturing or from molds, and some are homemade. Ice luges are sometimes offered in ice bars, and have also been used for serving oysters. Ice luges have also been described as a type of drinking game.
The largest of the Cyrtopone species, C. striata has a body length of about and has the biggest difference between head and mesosoma, the head being 2.5 times shorter. The winged gyne is a dorsal impression showing distinct sculpturing on the head and scutum made of longitudinal ridges. The eyes are small, placed near the center of the head, and the gena below them are nearly one and a half times longer than the eye diameter. The scape is longer than in the other species with one third of its length extending past the back margin of the head.
Additionally, the dorsal plates lack sculpturing. In Hupehsuchus, the zygapophyses of the trunk region are more modified, while those of Nanchangosaurus resemble those of more primitive terrestrial reptiles. Overall, Nanchangosaurus was smaller in size than Hupehsuchus, and although several characteristics of the single representative specimen of the former genus suggest it belonged to a juvenile individual, other differences between the two genera are clearly not ontogeneic and dispel the possibility that the single specimen of Nanchangosaurus could represent an immature Hupehsuchus. Different means of preservation can also be taken as evidence for different body forms in the two genera.
The single worker of A. dlusskyana has a long body and a long head. The body has a number of long hairs scattered on it, with a large amount present on the upper surface of the gaster, while the tarsi have a dense covering of hairs that lie almost flat and curl upward at the tips. There is coarse parallel ridging running the length of the mesosoma, and the gaster, waist, and head are smooth with no surface sculpturing. The head is rectangular in outline, being 1.3 times as long as wide and with very slightly convex sides.
Although his own death, and the deaths and retirements of his disciples, have lessened Lowenfeldian political in academia (and therefore in teacher education), his concepts go marching on.”Lowenfeld in a Viennese Perspective: Formative Influences for the American Art Educator, Journal of Studies in Art Education Lowenfeld’s philosophy reached a large audience through the theories documented in his books: Genesis of Sculpturing, 1932; Sculptures by the Blind, 1934; The Nature of Creativity, 1938; Creative and Mental Growth, 1947; and Your Child and his Art. He also published numerous articles on art education aesthetics, art for the handicapped, black art, and testing.
Key synapomorphies for Sphecomyrmine ants include scape (the base segment of the antenna) length; petiole (narrow waist between the thorax and abdomen); and the metapleural gland (secretory glands), as indicated by Barry Bolton's diagnosis. The morphology of Z. tonsora shows a variety of autapomorphies (derived traits) not seen in any other ant species, particularly the structure of the mandibles and mesosomal sculpturing. Another issue in placing Z. tonsora is that the status of Sphecomyrminae had rarely ever been evaluated (perhaps once) via phylogenetic methodology. Due to this, it was possible that the subfamily was not monophyletic.
The larval somatic features including ossified branchial denticles and larval-type sculpturing of the skull roof are lost. Postcranial features of transformed A. gracilis indicate that it was terrestrial and biting force had become a more important factor than suction. Despite this instance of metamorphosis, neoteny is nearly ubiquitous throughout branchiosaurids and most species remained in an aquatic environment throughout their life (however we should not rule out the possibility that this is a relic of terrestrial metamorphosed specimens not being well preserved). Neoteny is one of the major modes of heterochrony in which there is a modification in the timing or rate of development of certain features that is inherited.
The crested oyster is a rather irregular triangular or oval shape and grows to a length of about . The two valves are quite different; the left one is deeply concave, has a raised margin and is fixed to the substrate while the right one is flattish and fits inside the other. The valves are thick with variable surface sculpturing, the whitish colour being obscured by mud, algal growth and encrusting organisms. The inside of the valves is pearly grey or greenish, and the muscle scar is colourless, a fact that distinguishes this species from the much larger eastern oyster (Crassostrea virginica) which has a purple muscle scar.
The gallery specialized in antique reproductions, and was one of the last galleries in the world that was allowed to make molds directly from the ancient statues in Europe. In 1960, the Caproni Galleries were sold and Ciampa moved everything into his home studio in Lexington MA. He continued to sculpt for over 30 more years, well into his 90s, producing other important works. However, in his later years he did far more painting than sculpturing, as painting was a much less difficult medium to work with. He always gave away his paintings to his family and friends and whoever else came to visit him at his house.
While his sculptures may not be as famous as those of Phidias, they are much admired. In the Canon of Polykleitos, a treatise he wrote designed to document the "perfect" anatomical proportions of the male nude, Polykleitos gives us a mathematical approach towards sculpturing the human body. Polykleitos uses the distal phalanx of the little finger as the basic module for determining the proportions of the human body. Polykleitos multiplies the length of the distal phalanx by the square root of two () to get the distance of the second phalanges and multiplies the length again by to get the length of the third phalanges.
Coogan had his first solo art show in New York, at the Knowlton Gallery, where he wanted the audience to be confused with the shapes and angles he created with all his work being shown, which was created using bronze, aluminum, and steel. Coogan discusses his inspirations for creating his shapes in sculpturing, which include "Cana Street stores, in grocery stores, anthropological museums and on the beach." The New York Times wrote an article about Coogan's artwork in 1982, discussing his talent in the arts and how he has a future in it. He has chosen to pursue education and art education as a career.
The specimens of Jasus caveorum examined for the species description varied in carapace length from . Morphologically, J. caveorum is most similar to J. frontalis, which lives around the Juan Fernández and Desventuradas Islands. It is, however, more closely related to J. tristani and J. paulensis from Tristan da Cunha and the islands of the southern Indian Ocean, respectively. The two species differ in that J. frontalis has sculpturing on the second to sixth abdominal tergae, which is missing in J. caveorum, and in the presence of a row of setae and small spines on the second pereiopod of J. caveorum, but not on that of J. frontalis.
He is distinguished for his research on the crystalline schists and the Palaeozoic rocks of Norway. He discovered Silurian fossils in the highly altered rocks of the Bergen region; and in 1891 he called attention to the so-called "Reusch's Moraine" a Precambrian conglomerate of glacial origin in the Varanger Fjord, a view confirmed by A. Strahan in 1896, who found glacial striations on the rocks beneath the ancient boulder-bed. Reusch has likewise thrown light on the later geological periods, on the Pleistocene glacial phenomena and on the sculpturing of the scenery of Norway. In 1877 Reusch founded a popular science magazine, Naturen.
The brewery Het Anker, home of the Gouden Carolus beer Historically famous Mechlinian trades include laken (woollen cloth), tapestries, cordwain, Mechlin lace (precious bobbin lace, already from the early 18th century), wood carving and sculpturing, and furniture. Mechelen was at the heart of the revival of the carillon in the early 20th century, and hosts its principal school in the world to this day. The area around Mechelen is famous for the cultivation of vegetables, among which are Belgian endive (witloof), asparagus, and cauliflower. Founded in the city, the Mechelse Veilingen in neighbouring Sint-Katelijne-Waver is the largest co-operative vegetable auction in Europe.
The Lone Peak Wilderness provides a spectacular backdrop for the growing urban areas along the Wasatch Front and is dominated by rugged terrain, narrow canyons and high peaks, including the Pfeifferhorn, commonly referred to as Little Matterhorn Peak, at 11,326 feet (3,452 m) and Lone Peak at 11,253 feet (3,430 meters). The geologic structure of the area is varied and complex, consisting of granitoid rock masses and several sedimentary formations. Carving of the present alpine topography is due to glaciation, with erosion being the current dominant force in the land sculpturing process. Much of the higher elevation is alpine, characterized by large, open cirque basins and exposed rocky ridges.
Size comparison Much of the skull and skeleton has been recovered, and the taxon displays cranial sculpturing, including pronounced deltoid quadratojugal and squamosal bosses. The taxon is further characterized by a narrow rostrum (in dorsal view), the presence of seven conical teeth in each premaxilla, an incomplete osseous nasal septum, a linearly arranged nasal cavity, the absence of an osseus secondary palate, and, as regards osteoderms, two sets of co-ossified cervical plates and a number of elongate conical spines. A very unusual feature is the sagittal (midline) osteoderm on the first set of cervical plates; in most other ankylosaurs, these osteoderms are bilateral, i.e. paired with one on each side of the midline.
Lenhart, Dash & MacKay (2013) recognized Dinoponera lucida as a valid species based on the unique suite of characters including a tooth-like process on the pronotum, smooth and shiny integument, long and flagellate pilosity and petiole slanting forward on the dorsal edge. However, they note that a limited sample size restricted the certainty with which they could assert that Dinoponera lucida is a separate species because a broad spectrum of intraspecific variation may not be represented. There may be a possibility of character integration with Dinoponera australis in the area between the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Dinoponera lucida is only slightly larger than Dinoponera australis but differs in its integument micro-sculpturing and pilosity type.
In this paper the sculpturing of the Wealden area by rain and rivers was ably advocated. Retiring from the Geological Survey in 1865, Foster devoted his attention to mineralogy and mining in Cornwall, Egypt and Venezuela, becoming a lecturer for the Miners Association and secretary of the Royal Cornwall Polytechnic Society. In 1872, he was appointed an inspector of mines under the home office for the southwest of England, and in 1880 he was transferred, at his own request, to the N. Wales district. In 1890, upon the death of Sir Warington Smyth, he was appointed professor of mining at the Royal College of Science and he held this post until the close of his life.
Much of the geology of the Paine Massif area consists of Cretaceous sedimentary rocks that have been intruded by a Miocene-aged laccolith. Orogenic and erosional processes have shaped the present-day topography, and glacial erosion is mainly responsible for the sculpturing of the massif in the last tens of thousands of years. A good example of the latter is the Cuernos del Paine, whose central bands of exposed granite contrast strongly with the dark aspect of their tops, which are remnants of a heavily eroded sedimentary stratum. In the case of Las Torres, what once was their overlying sedimentary rock layer has been completely eroded away, leaving behind the more resistant granite.
The sculptures in the temple have strong identity with those found among the remnants of a temple in Jamsor near Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. From this similarity it has been inferred that the sculpturing at both locations were the handiwork of the same sculptors and further that they were created during the period from 1060–1100, during the reign of Kirttivarman. However, Archaeological Survey of India has inferred the period of temple building activity in Khajuraho from 950 to 1150 AD based on palaeography and the architectural style. From the name Vasala inscribed at a number of locations in the temple, it is inferred that the name is of the chief sculptor who created the sculptures.
The Nemuri-neko at Tōshō-gū The close-up image of the cat Nemuri-neko ( or , "sleeping cat", from nemuri, "sleeping/peaceful" and neko, "cat") is a famous wood carving by Hidari Jingorō (左甚五郎の作) located in the East corridor at Tōshō- gū Shrine (日光東照宮) in Nikkō, Japan. The Japanese sleeping cat is modeled after the famous crouching nemurineko carving by Hidari Jingorō. Based on the writing of Zempei Matsumura's book, Nikkō Tōshō-gū Shrine and Jingorō Hidari published by Nohi Publishing Company in 1975: > Hidari Jingorō loved cats and was fascinated by cats. Jingorō spent eight > months in seclusion to refine his knowledge and technique in wood > sculpturing.
Jingorō's approach in detailed wood sculpturing would later have an effect in other areas of Japanese art, namely, ceramic animals. This creative attention to detailing sculptured cats can be seen throughout the history of Japan, and more applicably in the ceramic arts. It is the fine detailed realistic life like cats that fascinates cat collectors, and makes these special type of cats highly desirable and collectible. Matsumura also states, Nemuri Neko "Sleeping Cat symbolizes Nikkō or the Spirit of Ieyasu, who was thought to be the manifestation of Yakushi Nyorai", the Buddha of Healing, who offers medicinal remedies, gives nourishment to the mind, body, and spirit, and comforts the sick and cures illnesses.
In general the two Eulithomyrmex are considered very similar to Agroecomyrmex duisburgi and the two genera can be separated based on the features of the head, with Agroecomyrmex displaying larger mandibles and a smaller antennal club. Overall Eulithomyrmex species have a nearly square head sporting small mandibles and short antennae composed of twelve total segments in the females and thirteen segments in the males. From the head across the thorax and down to the pedicel, the exoskeleton has coarse sculpturing, and the fore wings have two cubital cells. E. rugosus was described from four alate females and one male with Carpenter noting at least forty specimens of the species were known to him.
Marco Antonio Montes de Oca (August 3, 1932 - February 7, 2009) was a Mexican poet and painter. Montes de Oca was a prolific and influential poet whose principal books include: Ruina de la infame Babilonia (1953), and Delante de la luz cantan los pájaros (1959), which won the Xavier Villaurrutia Prize.Montes de Oca, Marco Antonio He also wrote a self-titled memoir in 1967, and a book of short stories Las fuentes legendarias (1966), and also dedicated a lot of time to painting and sculpturing. Some of Montes de Oca's poetry was translated into English by Laura Villaseñor,The heart of the flute / Marco Antonio Montes de Oca ; translated by Laura Villaseñor ; introd.
He was first stationed at Tenby, and to that circumstance may be attributed the fact that so much of his geological work dealt with Wales. His first book, The Geology of the Isle of Arran, was published in 1841. In 1845 he became local director for Great Britain, but he continued to carry on a certain amount of field-work until 1854. To the first volume of the Memoirs of the Geological Survey (1846) he contributed a now classic essay, On the Denudation of South Wales and the Adjacent Counties of England, in which he advocated the power of the sea to form great plains of denudation, although at the time he underestimated the influence of subaerial agents in sculpturing the scenery.
Roman Period sites in Kosovo Part of a series of articles upon Archaeology of Kosovo Recorded traces of the Vërban archaeological site, inform us a lot about site selection for the settlement building during the Roman times. The site is set close to Klokot, in an alluvial terrace stretched along the Morava river flow, an area known for the fertile land and near the warm thermal mineral waters spring. One of the most interesting accidental archaeological discoveries is a sculpture found near the Banja e Kllokotit, a masterpiece of the Dardanian art, presenting an example of the distinguished autochthonous sculpturing art, of advanced artistic creation. It is sculptured in qualitative marble, and reflects a figure of a high-toned Dardanian lady.
In 1884 he entered Saratov real school, where his talents as an artist were discovered by his teachers Fedor Vasiliev and Konovalov. He was enrolled in the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1890, transferring the next year to the Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint-Petersburg, where he was a pupil of Pavel Chistyakov. The damp climate of Saint-Petersburg was not good for Victor's health and in 1893 he was forced to return to Moscow and re-enroll to the Moscow School of painting, sculpturing and architecture. His earlier works like May flowers, 1894 were labelled decadent by the school administration, who sharply criticised him for making no distinction between the girls and the apple trees in his quest for a decorative effect.
A further walk-in sculpture was created by Bernd Fasching in the Dominican Republic between 1996 and 1997. Terra Nova, the title of this walk-in formation of sculptures, depicts the landing place of Christopher Columbus on the island as an incentive to reflect on the checkered, often terrible History of the American Continents. Based on these pieces, Fasching created the series Tools, making a sculpture of each of the tools required for sculpturing a monument. A bronze sculpture from this series, in the form of a spade, was revised by Fasching and turned into the Diva Award, an Austrian prize for sensational real-estate projects, which has been awarded annually ever since its creation in 2002, with Bernd Fasching himself as one of the jury members.
Further, it is postulated that information derived from PIN rewiring can operate across diverse timescales. Thus, while some of the information particularly that which operates over relatively short timescales maybe retained within the PINS, information that operates over long periods such as cellular transformation, development and evolution, is directly transferred to the genome to effect heritable genetic/epigenetic changes, or via a mechanism similar to genetic assimilation of the acquired character proposed by Waddington. Several proteins that are involved in epigenetically sculpturing the chromatin are IDPs. Insofar as genetic changes are concerned, emerging evidence suggests that a nexus between transcription factors and chromatin remodelers, and between transcription factors and DNA repair proteins that are part of large PINs, can facilitate such changes.
He also portrayed different personalities like Mike Tyson, Bertrand Russell, Lionel Richie, William Burroughs, Sean Penn, Barry White, Charles de Gaulle Mark Lombardi and, he even has counted the number of fish eggs used for creating some of his caviar paintings. Herold's sculpturing style is accepted as minimalism or Neo Dada minimalism by art critiques, galleries and journalists. Herold's sculpted figures often are slightly distorted, filiforms, stretched to the point of breaking, often reaching towards something, pushing their body postures, while trapped in an unbearable state. Some of Herold's works include: G.O.E.L.R.O (1988), Hospitalismus (1989), The Bow (1989), Untitled (1990), Resteuropa (Rest of Europe) (1998), Rumsfeld (2004), Red Square (2005), Platz des himmlischen Friedens (2005), Lost in Tolerance (2006), Flamingo (2007).
Kayentachelys was initially interpreted as an aquatic turtle, based upon the sharp tapered edges of the low-domed shell and the lack of both limb armor and sculpturing on the carapace. Kayentachelys is one component of a diverse assemblage of vertebrate taxa preserved within the Kayenta Formation. Kayentachelys lived alongside hybodontoid chondrichthyans; the early anuran Prosalirus; the gymnophionan Eocaecilia; sphenodontid diapsids; several species of crocodylomorph, including Kayentasuchus, Eopneumatosuchus, Protosuchus, and the goniopholidid Calsoyasuchus; the pterosaur Rhamphinion; the sauropodomorph dinosaur Sarahsaurus; the theropod dinosaurs Dilophosaurus and "Syntarsus" kayentakatae; the ornithischian dinosaur Scutellosaurus; the tritylodontid synapsids Oligokyphus, Dinnebitodon, and Kayentatherium; the mammaliaform synapsid Dinnetherium; and several other yet-unnamed taxa. The paleoenvironment of the Kayenta Formation in which Kayentachelys lived has been reconstructed as a floodplain drained by low-energy, sediment-rich streams.
Two units of a Holophones system The ' loudspeaker system was designed in 1999 by composer Michelangelo Lupone and realized at CRM – Centro Ricerche Musicali in Rome, in order to realize a specific sound spatialization defined as "wavefront sculpture".HiArt Semestral Magazine of Information of the High Artistic and Musical Formation – Music and Mutation – Lupone, Michelangelo – Gangemi Editore – April–October 2008 – The parabolic reflector of the Holophones system emits plane waves.Acustica Musicale e Architettonica – Spazializzazione del Suono – Lupone, Michelangelo – UTET – Studio di un Radiatore Acustico ad Elevata Direttività – Mariorenzi, Luca – Università degli Studi Roma3, Facoltà di Ingegneria Elettronica Each unit of the Holophones system consists of a parabolic dish with a limited band loudspeaker at its focal point, with controllable radiation angle. The dynamic controls for sculpturing the wavefront are managed by a computer.
Workers of this species is recognized by its finely micro- sculptured integument which is not shiny, rounded anterior inferior pronotal corner lacking a tooth-like process, ventral side of the head lacking any gular striations and long/flagellate pilosity. Males are distinguished by the long fine setae of the second funicular segment, light brown coloration, long narrow parameres, volsella with two small basal teeth and lacking a lobe on the distal edge of digitus volsellaris. Dinoponera quadriceps may be confused with Dinoponera mutica, but has a finely micro-sculptured integument which is not shiny, lacks gular striations and has a petiole which bulges on the dorso- anterior edge in contrast to Dinoponera muticas roughly microsculptured integument, striated gula and petiole with even, non-bulging corners. Dinoponera quadriceps and Dinoponera mutica differ in micro-sculpturing, gular striations and petiole shape.
Since then Asa Ames has assumed an eminent place in the history of American art as a leading folk sculptor of the 19th century. Ames's short life is sparely documented. The dates of his birth and death are known by his tombstone, other details (including his occupation, described as "sculpturing") in the federal census of 1850, with the gaps in the record skillfully reconstructed by art historians on the basis of nineteen works (signed and unsigned, the latter attributions grounded on style and provenance) and the web of connections they have revealed. Additionally, descendants of Asa Ames have proved helpful to historians by making accessible family records, which show that Ames was married to a woman named Emma Hurd (1830 – 1893) of the Marvin household, where Ames was a resident at the time of the 1850 census shortly before his death.
Variations in their composition and structure have resulted in massive, well-jointed steel-grey cliff faces alternating with structural benches of vesicular amygdaloid lava and ash layers, all of which contribute to the pyramida-shaped hills and crest-level plateaux or mesas. Earth sculpturing under the tropical climate completed the panorama-sharply defining the landform features in the semi-arid conditions, and rounding the hilltops under water condition. Fluvial action by the Krishna, Bhima, Godavari, Tapi-Purna and Wardha-Wainganga river systems has further aided in the compartmentalisation of the Desh into broad, open river valleys, alternating with plateau interfluves, that form the ribs of the Sahyadrian backbone. In sharp contrast, the hill torrents of the Konkan, barely a 100 km long, tumble down as roaring streams which flow in deeply entrenched valleys to terminate in tidal estuaries.
The plants are annual or perennial, growing emersed, floating-leaved, or seasonally submersed, leaves glabrous to stellate-pubescent; rhizomes present or absent; stolons absent; corms absent; tubers absent. Roots not septate. Majolie claimed she "did not know him or his friends personally, and saw him only once on the day after he came back to school dressed in his G.I. uniform to say good-bye [at the end of World War I]. I was graduating mid- term, handed him my girl grad-book, and he drew pictures in it." After graduating, Majolie studied figure painting and design at the Grand Central School of Art, clay sculpturing at Art Students League, and "drawing for line continuity" at Leonardo da Vinci Art School in New York. In 1929, she worked as a freelance artist on fashion assignments for Earnshaw Publications, and served for five years at J.C. Penney as an art director and brochure designer until 1934. At the same time, she submitted a comic strip about a girl named Stella who was trying to find a job during the Great Depression for a contest held by King Features Syndicate.
The new fountain was to be constructed at the centre of the facade of the Artus Court, from the Green Gate the fountain would be seen with the Main town hall in the background, with the turn to the Long Lane. Neptune - the god of the sea - was to be placed facing the townhouses, which were the residence of the Polish kings, while at their stay in Danzig, the mythological god was to have his head bow down to them. The fountain was to have underground pumps connecting the fountain to the Potok Siedlecki by Sienny Market; however, the pressure was too low. The Neptune's Fountain and its surroundings in 1838. Between 1606 and 1615, there were pending projects, sculpturing, and casting. The sculpture's project was made by Abraham van den Blocke (1572–1628), with the statue made by Flemish Peter Husen. The sculpture was cast from bronze in 1615 in the town casting guild by Gerdt Benning. The mass of the figure is 650 kilograms.
Despite studying for seven months at the San Carlos Academy (1948), for one year (1948–1949) at the La Esmeralda School of Painting and Sculpturing, where he was the student of the renowned muralist Raúl Anguiano, Ignacio Barrios is, in strict terms, a self-taught artist who is constantly striving to renovate and remodel his work. As soon as he felt that Academy studies were not enough to satisfy his restless spirit, he decided to leave the schools to continue learning on his own. It is nonetheless undeniable that the artist Ricardo Bárcenas had a strong influence at the beginning of his drawing career, and that of Ignacio M. Beteta strikes at first sight in Barrios' early landscapes. An important imprint in his work was exercised by the celebrated British painter William Turner, from whom the Mexican virtuoso took several elements which have allowed him to obtain his own textures and environments.
This structural temple complex was the culmination of the architectural creations that were initiated by the King Narasimhavarman II in mid 7th century starting with the Cave temples and the monolithic Rathas. Even though the architectural creation of sculpturing cut-in and cut-out structures continued during subsequent periods, as seen in the Atiranachanda cave, the Pidari rathas and the Tiger cave, the main credit for the architectural elegance of the Shore Temple complex in the category of structural temples goes to the King Rajasimha (700–28 AD), also known as Narasimhavarman II, of the Pallava Dynasty. It is now inferred that this temple complex was the last in a series of temples that seemed to exist in the submerged coastline; this is supported by the appearance of an outline of its sister temples off the coast during the Tsunami of 2004 which struck this coastline. The architecture of the Shore Temple was continued by the Cholas (in the temples that they built) who ruled Tamil Nadu after defeating the Pallavas.
He began his artistic training under the guidance of his uncle Giovanni Giacomo, who takes him on his construction site of the Cathedral of Milan and assigned him the task of sculpturing and reinterpreting the works of Leonardo da VinciIn the study of Maria Gibellino Krasceninnicowa we learn that the drawings and writings of Guglielmo are collected in two volumes in gold parchment with the words: "Opera di F. G. Della Porta", author of the collection is Giuseppe Ghezzi, a relative of Della Porta. The drawings show his complex personality, showing us the pictorial side of his art, and in them we feel the breath of classical Roman sculpture. Ghezzi was in possession of the important code of Leonardo: the manuscript the nature, weight and motion of water then said "Codex Hammer" from the name of the financier who bought it. Of this code, owned by Guglielmo at Leonardo's death, the traces were lost and reappeared when the Ghezzi in 1717 decided to sell it to a rich Englishman, Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester, whose heirs sold it to financier Armand Hammer for more than five million dollars until about 1530.
