Other summer festivals in and around Edmonton include the Edmonton Heritage Festival, Taste of Edmonton, Chaos Alberta Festival, Interstellar Rodeo, Big Valley Jambore, Pigeon Lake Music Festival, Edmonton Rockfest, Edmonton International Reggae Jamboree Festival, Edmonton Blues Festival and Cariwest. Edmonton also hosts a number of winter festivals, one of the oldest being the Silver Skate Festival.
That same day, it was announced that CKY would be performing at Canadian festival Amnesia Rockfest in June. Miller claimed that he knew nothing about the show and Ginsburg asserted that his focus was on his upcoming solo album, although it was confirmed by Bam Margera that Jess would be involved in the show. Live In Milan the bands first live CD/DVD combo was released in late 2017 and Greg Smith joined them on bass for the fall Reach tour dates.
In 2013, the band embarked on a summer headlining tour in the United States. In the fall, the band played Riot Fest in Chicago, as well as an opening for Deftones at a Los Angeles show at the Greek Theater, and also played a headlining show in Santa Ana, California. At the beginning of 2014, the band participated in the Soundwave Festival in Australia, as well as playing a few Australian club shows with The Dillinger Escape Plan. In the summer of 2014, Glassjaw once again briefly returned to performing, playing a brief set at the Amnesia Rockfest (in Montebello, QC).
Tony Sly died in his sleep on July 31, 2012. \- Riddle, Rest and Rivera played a tribute performance to Sly at the Envol & Macadam Festival in Québec City on September 8, 2012, along with the former No Use for a Name members Nassie and Koff. This was intended to be the band's final performance, with Riddle commenting, "This is the last No Use for a Name show ever. No one wants to do this without Tony," The band's final show before Sly's death had also been in Quebec, at the D-Tox Rockfest in Montebello on June 15, 2012.

In mid 2019, Joshua Bertrand left the band to be more at home with his family, and the band picked up Micah Labrosse who had previously been a contract player for Disciple and Spoken. On Sept 2019 Random Hero released the music video for TENSION, out now on Rockfest Records. On Dec 2nd Random Hero's TENSION was nominated for the 8th Annual We Love Christian Music Awards, "Amp Award" (Rock/Alternative Album of the year) along side, Skillet, Disciple, Manafest & Seventh Day Slumber.
He was replaced by Matt McKenna who recorded bass for the band's next album Cartesian Dreams and performed on all the Come to My Kingdom tour dates. The group embarked on a world tour of 39 cities throughout Europe, Brazil, and the United States, commencing between March–July 2008, including main stage performances at Hard in Rio, Rocklahoma and the South Texas Rockfest festivals. On September 18, 2009, the band's seventh studio album Cartesian Dreams was released. Although bass was recorded by Matt McKenna, Chris McCarvill had rejoined the band following the recording and played bass on the supporting tour for the album in September–November 2009.
The three Bivona brothers met Aimee Allen, a solo artist at the time, in 2009 while touring with their band Telacasters supporting The Dirty Heads and Sugar Ray. In 2011, Aimee and Kevin started writing songs together and brought Kevin's brothers, twins Jesse and Justin, in to play drums and bass. That led to the four forming The Interrupters. The band got an early start, touring with bands such as Rancid, The Transplants, Devil's Brigade, and Left Alone; as well as playing the American music festival Riot Fest in Chicago and Denver, and the Canadian music festival Amnesia Rockfest, all before the release of their first record.
At a show in Boston, MA in August 2008, Stza angrily stated Leftöver Crack would never return to Boston; however, they played just outside of Boston on June 18, 2016. In 2006, after their show in Boise, Stza announced to a group of fans that they would never return, Boise was subsequently skipped in '07 and Star Fucking Hipsters' 2010 Boise date was cancelled a week or so after being posted, though they returned to Boise in March 2011. In June 2016 Leftover Crack was allowed entry into Canada and played Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello, Quebec, but had many members denied again in 2018.
Upon her return to Jamaica, Chin joined the Jamaican rock band Mile High and performed for crowds at many local venues including Jazzfest, Rockfest, and RETV Unplugged. Their style, "rock reggae," was unique and distinct. After going on tour for three years with Jimmy Cliff as a back-up singer, she decided to launch her solo career. After Tessanne left Mile High, she began writing songs for her first album. Guitarist Rudy Valentino and drummer Paul "GrooveGalore" KasticK were her producers for her 2010 independent debut album In Between Words. Her 2006 debut single, "Hideaway" received heavy rotation on Caribbean radio and select stations in New York.

The album was also preceded by its first single, "No Phone", which hit number 13 on Billboards Modern Rock Tracks chart; the song covered the ubiquitous and privacy-invading use of cell phones, and was described by Jeremy Mahadevan of the New Straits Times as "a traditionally minimalist Cake anthem, with a killer melody and, unique to this album, fairly extensive use of synths".

In 2019, Oceanhoarse performed at clubs and festivals, including the Tokyo Finland Feast in Japan and the Hyvinkää Rockfest in Finland. The band's year culminated in its own Hoarsefest event at On The Rocks Club in Helsinki, where in addition to the performance of five metal bands, there was also other programs such as music clinics. In February 2020, the band were on their first European tour as a warm-up for Marko Hietala, before the corona pandemic restrictions came into force. Part of the band's spring and summer 2020 performances were canceled due to restrictions, including the Tuska Open Air in Helsinki at the end of June. The band’s goal is to make catchy live music.

Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner was the bassist for Suicidal Tendencies from 2002 to 2011, although he did perform on their eleventh studio album 13, which was released two years after his departure from the band. Suicidal Tendencies released 13, their first album with new material in 13 years, on March 26, 2013. The band spent the next few years touring in support of the album, with such bands as D.R.I., Sick of It All, Slayer, Exodus, Slipknot, Beartooth, Megadeth, Children of Bodom and Havok. They also headlined the 2014 Persistence Tour, and appeared at many festivals such as Riot Fest in 2013, Amnesia Rockfest in 2014 and Motörhead's Motörboat cruise and Knotfest in both 2015.
On July 12, 2014, Decyfer Down announced on their Facebook page the release of "Black and White" EP by Revely. Josh and Brandon were the producers of that EP. On October 27, 2014, the band released a compilation of their songs in an anthology, called "Anthology", which was released under the label of Fair Trade Services. This compilation consisted of songs from their previous albums. There were no new songs on this record. On May 12, 2015, original member and drummer Josh Oliver announced that he would be stepping down from the band. During City Rockfest 2015, the band's guitarist, Chris Clonts, was unable to tour with the band due to business in his hometown.
The Offspring World Tour 2017 was a concert tour by The Offspring, which began on March 23, 2017 in Nagoya, Japan and ended on November 25, 2017. For the first time since he joined The Offspring in 1985, guitarist Noodles was absent from touring on the European summer 2017 dates, stating on Instagram that a "sudden family matter" forced him to stay in the U.S.A. Longtime live guitarist Todd Morse took his place as lead guitarist, while Sum 41 guitarist Tom Thacker played as second live guitarist. To coincide with the 20th anniversary of its release, The Offspring played their fourth studio album Ixnay on the Hombre in its entirety during their appearance at Amnesia Rockfest.
Scorpions performing at RockFest in 2015 On 29 August 2015, the Scorpions announced 50th anniversary deluxe editions of their albums Taken By Force, Tokyo Tapes, Lovedrive, Animal Magnetism, Blackout, Love at First Sting, World Wide Live, and Savage Amusement which were released 6 November 2015. These deluxe releases include "dozens of unreleased songs, alternate versions of big hits, rough mixes, and rare live concert recordings". On 28 April 2016, it was announced that Motörhead drummer Mikkey Dee would fill in for James Kottak and play drums on 12 North American headlining dates, including a run of shows at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas dubbed "Scorpions Blacked Out in Las Vegas" with Queensrÿche opening the Vegas shows, and dates in São Paulo.
The new year would have the band on the road again continuing the support of their new record and they would tour with Mushroomhead, The Family Ruin and Thira. This would be continued by another tour with The Animal in Me, The Things They Carried and Darkness Divided. In May the band was able to land a slot on The Bud Light Rivercity Rockfest at the AT&T; Centre in San Antonio, Texas with big-name acts such as Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Anthrax, Drowning Pool and more. A music video was released for the band's cover of "Can't Feel My Face" by The Weeknd on August 31 and gave fans a chance to see their unique approach to a big hit single.
Mephiskapheles continued to share the stage with established punk and ska-punk bands in 2016, making separate East Coast runs with Less Than Jake and NOFX in the early part of the year. After Meph Records released a promotional video for the song "Friends Like You", in April, the band announced work was ongoing on another video, for the song "Satan Stole My Weed". Returning from a well-received tour of Texas, in May, Mephiskapheles headlined in Asbury Park, New Jersey as part of the Punk Rock Bowling & Music festival in June 2016. Later that month, Mephiskapheles traveled to Montreal and played in support of legendary British glam rockers The Adicts at the official after-party for the Amnesia Rockfest.
They started work on their first full-length album Petty in 2010, which was mixed by Vance Powell, mastered by Bob Ludwig and features Munky from Korn as guest guitarist on the songs Further and Help. Once the album was completed, Deadly Apples went on hiatus for seven years as Martel focused on the growth of his festival, Montebello Rockfest, and Lamothe focused on his career in the film industry. In 2017, the band reformed for their first live show in seven years supporting Rammstein in Canada and released several songs from the Petty album along with a music video for Further directed by Lamothe. In 2018, they toured for two months with Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie on the US Twins of Evil Tour.
The second headlining tour for the album was the Endless Summer Tour with All That Remains and Hyro Da Hero which began in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and ended in Knoxville, Tennessee. The third tour was the World War III Tour, which the band called the biggest tour they had done yet. The tour was co-headlined with Asking Alexandria with support acts We Came As Romans, D.R.U.G.S., and Borgore, with different local openers for each location. For supporting tours, the band began with the Nightmare After Christmas Tour with headliners Avenged Sevenfold and supporters Stone Sour and New Medicine on January 20, 2011, which was the first supporting tour for the album. Outside of official tours, the band played several festivals throughout 2011 including UFEST in Mesa, Arizona, Rockfest, and Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In July and August, Deadly Apples toured arenas and amphitheaters for two months with Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie on the US Twins of Evil Tour, as well as the solo Marilyn Manson dates. The band signed with veteran rock manager Andy Gould in the Fall of 2018.
Loaded's second album, Sick, was released on March 20, 2009 in Europe and April 7 in the US, peaking at number 43 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. On March 22, 2016, its title was announced as To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere, with a release date of May 27, 2016.
