Southlands Lifestyle Center (also Southlands Mall, Southlands, The Southlands, or The Southlands at Aurora) is a regional shopping mall located in Aurora, Colorado. The center is located at the intersection of Smoky Hill Road and the E-470 tollway, about 15 miles south of Denver International Airport, east of the Saddle Rock neighborhood and west of Cherokee Trail High School and the Tallyn's Reach neighborhood. Based on retail floor space, Southlands is the largest non-enclosed mall in the United States. It opened in 2005, featuring a unique design incorporating a "Main Street" of shops and smaller eateries, surrounded by larger stores near the perimeter of the center.

Sickla Köpkvarter is a retail park and shopping district located on a redeveloped industrial estate in Nacka, Sweden. It's wholly owned by Atrium Ljungberg — a real estate company headquartered in the area — and consists of several shopping malls in varying sizes, in addition to office buildings with shops at street level and a civic center housing a museum, art gallery, library and multiplex. In 2013, the shopping center had 2,600 parking spaces, a total of 168 stores with a combined retail floor area of and annual turnover of SEK 3 billion. The biggest stores are ICA, Elgiganten, Willys and Best of Brands, accounting for nearly a quarter of the annual rent payments.

In 2004, Lusch became the head of the "marketing department at the University of Arizona's business school." Lusch served as the Executive Director of the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona and holds the James and Pamela Muzzy Chair in Entrepreneurship. Professor Lusch has served as Vice President of Education, Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Publications, Chairperson of the American Marketing Association, and trustee of the American Marketing Association Foundation. He has advised and consulted with Adolph Coors, Arvest Bank, Cotter & Company, Household Finance, Ford Motor Company, Fleming Companies, National Association of Wholesalers, National Retail Hardware Association, Retail Floor Covering Institute, TG&Y;, True Value, and Winn's Stores.

Most locations included an in-store radio station, branded Virgin Radio. U.S. Virgin Radio was not a broadcast radio station, but a DJ operated hard-lines system which broadcast throughout the store, and the complex in which the store was located. At the Times Square location, DJ selections were heard on the retail floor, in the office areas, processing areas, and even out on the shop's Broadway sidewalk frontage. All employees of the U.S. Virgin Megastores could be identified by their trademark red or black t-shirts which had the Virgin logo on the front and the word STAFF on the back, as well as required lanyards with their first name printed on them.

It has eight units plus an anchor store, Wickes, and was redeveloped in 2003 to modernise the rather worn-out appearance of the retail park and to increase retail floor space. The Old Market was a farmers' market in the Parade in front of Market House, but eventually moved to the Firepool area, although cattle trading on the site ceased in 2008. A large indoor shopping centre to the east of the Parade was built on a site which had at one time been a pig market. Although its official name is now Orchard, and before that the Old Market Centre, locals still refer to it as the Pig Market, as one existed there from 1614 to 1882.

After the war, the neighbourhood suffered even greater damage from poor planning than it had from the Luftwaffe - the construction of the Westway and the M41 spur (now the West Cross Route) to the M40 motorway cut Shepherd's Bush off from Holland Park, demolishing much elegant Victorian housing and leading to some of the worst urban blight in London. In 2008 the Westfield London shopping centre opened its doors on the former White City exhibition site, with a retail floor area of 150,000m² (the equivalent of about 30 football pitches), it was reported to be the largest shopping centre in London, and the third-largest in Britain. Westfield is set to grow still further as planning permission has been given for a huge northward expansion of the retail area.

Under the terms of the lease, HBC was entitled to install three kiosks related to its store within the new Freiman Mall. The company and the city would share operating and security costs, with the City's share based on the proportion of public (non-retail) floor area and the amount of time the mall would be open past the store's operating hours. The Freiman Mall was officially opened by Ottawa mayor Marion Dewar on May 12, 1983, at which time a commemorative plaque was unveiled within the mall honouring A. J. Freiman and his family. In order to reduce the City's share of the operating and security costs, the lease was amended in 1992 to allow HBC to encroach into the Freiman Mall with its merchandise displays, as long as a minimum -wide public passageway was maintained.

Riverside Place Phase 1 complete The Wickford Masterplan was first unveiled at the Wickford Community Centre in December 2004 and published in November 2005 by DTZ Pieda Consulting, at a budget of £125 million, and many of the developments are currently in progress. At the heart of the proposals is the redevelopment of the High Street, which will be redesigned to be the town's premier meeting place. The Masterplan would create new public spaces, enhance the retail environment through the renewal of retail floor space and bring the market into the street scene, promoting urban living above shops and on the existing market site. Adjacent to the River Crouch, a number of high quality residential developments promoted as the "Town Centre Riverside Living" complex would revitalise the riverside as a public asset and promotion of new eating and drinking opportunities.

At the time of its opening it was reported to be the third largest shopping centre in the United Kingdom. The first member's meeting in 1974 consisted of just twelve members representing fifteen stores. Mitre 10 New Zealand Limited now has 117 members, with stores stretching from Kaitaia to Bluff and has both the largest network by store numbers and by retail floor-space nationwide.
