The following day he was unanimously reselected by his local party as their prospective parliamentary candidate, but in May 2003 he failed to persuade 25 of his fellow Conservative MPs to call for a vote of confidence. He accepted that no challenge for the party leadership would be immediately forthcoming and returned to the back benches. In November 2003, Michael Howard eventually replaced Duncan Smith after a vote of no confidence.
Mr. Duguay is a former Rhodes scholar of Oxford University in Great Britain, former law professor at the National University in Kinshasa, author of much of Rwanda's constitution, former ambassador to Cameroon, Morocco, Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova, and former professor at McGill University and the University of Montreal. The Green Party, fifth place in 2006, reselected their 2006 candidate, François Pilon, while the Canadian Action Party selected biochemistry student Alexandre Amirizian. The newly formed neorhino.ca, successor to the Rhinoceros Party of Canada, fielded party founder François Gourd on August 7.
Although the Welsh backs contained the talents of Billy Bancroft, brothers Evan and David James and Arthur and Bert Gould, the Welsh team were outclassed by Victor Le Fanu's Ireland. It was the first time Wales had lost all three games in the Championship. Despite the loss Biggs was reselected for all three games of the 1893 tournament, all under the captaincy of "Monkey" Gould. In a reversal of fortunes from the previous season, Wales managed to win all three matches, lifting the Triple Crown for the first time in the country's history.
Nicholls was reselected for Wales in the very next international, a match against Scotland as part of the 1889 Home Nations Championship. Under the captaincy of Frank Hill, Wales were beaten by two tries to nil, though selectors kept faith with Nicholls when he was chosen for the final game of the tournament to Ireland. After another loss, Nicholls found himself out of favour and was replaced by William Williams. Nicholls played just one more game for Wales in the 1891 Championship as part of Willie Thomas' team that took on Scotland.
Bowen was reselected to represent Wales for the entirety of the 1922 Five Nations Championship in which Wales won the tournament, winning three of the games and drawing against Scotland. Bowen scored two tries during the tournament; the first in the opening Welsh victory over England when Bowen was one of eight different players to score a try for Wales. His second was more important, as it allowed the draw with Scotland snatched by Wales when Islwyn Evans scored a drop goal in the last two minutes.Godwin (1983), pg 135.
Watts, a steelworker by profession, played the majority of his rugby career for first-class Welsh team Llanelli and in the 1903–04 season was given the captaincy of the first team. Despite this accolade, Watts was not selected for the Wales national team until the 1907 Home Nations Championship. His first international was against England, played at home at St. Helen's, and the match ended in a Welsh win. Watts was reselected for the remaining two games of the Championship, an away loss to Scotland, and a crushing home win over Ireland.
Although Wales lost the game Thomas was reselected for the very next Welsh team in a game against the touring Māoris at St Helens. Wales won the match by one goal and two tries to nil, but Thomas was on the losing team when his club side, Newport, faced the Māoris four days later. Thomas played another seven games for his country, including all games in the 1889 tournament and 1890 tournament. In 1890 Thomas scored his only international points, when he scored a try in a draw against Ireland at Lansdowne Road.
Wales lost the game and Hill was replaced for the final game of the season to Ireland by Daniel Griffiths. Hill regained his position and his captaincy in the first match of the 1890 tournament, though missed the away match to England. When he was reselected for the final game of the championship the captaincy was passed to Arthur Gould. Hill missed the next two tournaments, before playing the entirety of the 1893 tournament which saw Wales win all their matches to take the Triple Crown for the first time.
'Old Stager' reported that Boon's covering tackling against Scotland's Ian Smith had been impressive and that he had shown an '...extraordinary facility for retaining a grasp on whatever part of his anatomy he could lay his hands'.Smith (1980), pg 257. For the final game against France, Boon's Wales rival Jack Morley had been selected to play for the British Lions, so Boon was reselected in a notoriously aggressive match which resulted in a Welsh win. Boon played in all of the 1931 Five Nations Championship which saw Wales win the tournament for the first time in eight years.
Several identically sized Huffman tables can be used with a block if the gain from using them is greater than the cost of including the extra table. At least 2 and up to 6 tables can be present, with the most appropriate table being reselected before every 50 symbols processed. This has the advantage of having very responsive Huffman dynamics without having to continuously supply new tables, as would be required in DEFLATE. Run-length encoding in the previous step is designed to take care of codes that have an inverse probability of use higher than the shortest code Huffman code in use.
Harding was reselected for the very next Welsh game, one of only four players to keep their place, the others being Charlie Newman, Frank Purdon and William David Phillips. Played away from home at Lansdowne Road against Ireland and under the captaincy of Charles Lewis, Wales won the game two goals and two tries to nil. Harding played in the next two matches for Wales, a second loss to England, and the first ever game against Scotland, which also ended in a loss. Harding's brother Theo also played for Newport and also represented Wales at international level.
On 31 January 2014, it was announced that McIntosh had lost a vote of confidence, and therefore was not reselected and would not be the Conservative candidate in Thirsk and Malton at the next election."Conservative MP Anne McIntosh loses de-selection vote" BBC News, 29 January 2014 Following the result, Conservative Home speculated that McIntosh might stand as an Independent candidate in 2015. In March 2015 McIntosh publicly announced that she would not be standing as an Independent and would be standing down from Parliament as Member of Parliament for Thirsk and Malton in May 2015.
At the start of the 1895/96 season, Jenkin was awarded the captaincy of the Swansea senior team, but was forced to give it up in November due to 'professional duties', and Billy Bancroft took over his duties. Nonetheless Jenkin was reselected two months later for the opening game of the 1896 Championship. The pack was almost identical to the previous match, with the only change seeing Treorchy's Sam Ramsey replacing the experienced but aging Jim Hannan. The game was a disaster for the Welsh team, with England winning the match 25–0, scoring seven tries without reply.
Elsey came to note as a rugby player while playing for first class Welsh team Cardiff. Despite being English born there was a two-year residency rule that allowed non-Welsh born players representing the Wales national team, and in 1895 he was selected to represent Wales as part of the Home Nations Championship. Elsey was brought into the Welsh pack for the Championship opener against England. The Welsh team had changed much since the previous match of the lase season, with only six of the original fifteen reselected, though only Elsey and Swansea's Tom Jackson were new caps amongst the forwards.
He finished 8th in discus but his third place in the shot put saw him collect the bronze medal. Despite the medal, West, who was the world number one in the shot going into the games, saw his result as a disappointment and spurred him to improve his training. Two years later he was again representing Great Britain, this time at the World Championships, and again it was his shot that was the stronger of the two events, collecting the silver medal. In 2000 West was reselected for the Paralympics, again entering the shot and discus.
Cornish was not among those reselected, which saw a spectacular win over the English team; but after a heavy away defeat by Scotland in the next match, Cornish was back in favour for the Irish encounter at the Cardiff Arms Park. Cornish, brought in as a replacement for Tom Dobson, would play his last international in this match, with Wales losing to a single Gerald Doran try. Cornish may have been selected for further international games, but in August 1899 he switched rugby codes joining Hull rugby league team, preventing his return to the union code of rugby.
George was reselected for the encounter with Ireland, which was played at the Cardiff Arms Park. The game was another tight match, with Wales winning by the fact that they converted their only try, while Ireland missed theirs. George played just one more international game, the opening game of the 1896 Championship away to England. Wales were humiliated, with England scoring seven tries without reply; and the Welsh selectors reacted by changing six of the eight man pack for the next game; George was one of those players whose Wales rugby career ended after the game.
Walkington was first called to play for Ireland in the country's opening game of the 1887 Home Nations Championship against England. It was an historic game, as Ireland beat the English for the very first time, after 12 unsuccessful attempts. Walkington missed the next game of the tournament at home to Scotland, but was reselected in the final game which saw Ireland lose to Wales at Birkenhead. The Irish team and Walkington had their revenge the next year when Wales were beaten at Lansdowne Road, but it would be two years until Walkington played for Ireland again.
Wales won 21–3, with the Welsh backs scoring heavily thanks to the sustained possession achieved by Watkins and the rest of the forward players. Watkins was then reselected for the final Wales game of the tournament, an away match at the Balmoral Showgrounds against Ireland. Wales lost the match by two points, with complaints for the loss being directed at poor refereeing decisions. In the 1904/05 season Watkins was given the captaincy of Llanelli, and retained his position in the Wales team, playing in all three matches of the Triple Crown winning 1905 Championship.
This game saw the reintroduction of England after two years away from the international scene, and resulted in the country's first defeat to Wales. In 1890, Hancock became an original member of William Percy Carpmael's newly formed invitational tourists, the Barbarians, becoming one of the few early members not to have a university background. Hancock went on several Easter tours with the Barbarians, scoring a try against Norman Biggs' Cardiff team in 1893. Although not reselected for the 1891 Championship, Hancock was chosen to represent the first official British Isles team on their first tour of South Africa.
Within two months of moving to Wales, Hancock was playing for Cardiff, changed the future formation of rugby and was then selected to play for Wales. He played his first international game under the captaincy of Joe Simpson against Ireland as part of the 1884 Home Nations Championship. Wales won the game with tries from William Norton and Tom Clapp, and Hancock was reselected for the very next Welsh game against England in the next years tournament. Hancock played two games in the 1885 Championship, a loss to England at St Helens and a scoreless draw in Scotland.
Jones played for several rugby clubs but was selected for Welsh international duty while with Newport and Pontypool. His first cap was against the 1912 touring South Africans and although Wales lost the game, he was reselected a few months later to face England in the 1913 Five Nations Championship. Under the captaincy of Tommy Vile, Wales lost on home soil for the first time against England since 1895. The selectors kept faith with Jones, and played in two of the next three games of the tournament, which saw wins for Wales and Jones against Scotland and France.
While in Newcastle, he regained his impeccable form from the Towers days, leading the previously fledgling franchise to a Trophy final, in which they finished runners-up to the victorious Chester Jets, 92–81. For the seventh consecutive season, Windless was featured in the All-Star game for 2001, where he was named as MVP for the final ever event. He was also reselected for the BBL All-Star Team following a three-year absence. It seemed as though his career was on the up, and a move to Europe was too good to turn down.
Andrade was again selected as candidate for governor, to face César Raúl Ojeda, also reselected by the to contest the governorship. The selected Lucio Lastra to fight the election, and also running was Blanca Guerrero of the Social Alliance Party. On election day, Manuel Andrade again prevailed with 50.67% of the votes, compared to 45.95% for Ojeda Zubieta, who this time accepted defeat without complaint. Manuel Andrade was sworn in as Governor of Tabasco on 1 January 2002, in the presence of the President of Mexico, Vicente Fox, and the absence of the and state legislators.
1904 British Isles team, Swannell is back row, second left Swannell returned to Britain with the touring team, and was reselected for the 1904 tour, this time taking in Australia and New Zealand. Swannell played in 15 games, including all four Test Matches, three against Australia and the final Test against New Zealand. In the third Test, Swannell scored his first and only international points, a try against Australia in Sydney. The British Isles were victorious over the Australians, but lost the New Zealand match, this was the first international game that Swannell had been on the losing side.
Graham made his international debut for Wales in a match against Ireland as part of the 1890 Home Nations Championship. Under the captaincy of team mate Gould, Wales drew the game 3–3 with the Welsh points coming from a try from another Newport player, Charlie Thomas. Although Graham missed the next Wales game, the opening match of the 1891 Championship to England at Newport's Rodney Parade, he was reselected for the final two games of the tournament. After playing two matches for Wales in a disappointing 1892 season, Graham played his only full Home Nations Championship in 1893.
Arthur joined Neath from Glynneath RFC in 1923, and made his debut for the club in a game against Pontypool in December that year. After consistent good play for Neath, he showed promise in Welsh trials and was selected to the national squad in 1927 to face Scotland as part of the Five Nations Championship. Wales lost the game, but Arthur was reselected to face both France and Ireland in the later stages of the same tournament. The Welsh forwards were terrible in the game against Ireland and their eight-man pack was outclassed by the seven man Irish pack.
In December 2014, Luder was one of five people on the shortlist to become United Kingdom Independence Party candidate for the constituency of South Basildon and East Thurrock at the 2015 general election. At the initial selection meeting he was not chosen as the candidate."UKIP'S Neil Hamilton withdrew from standing for South Basildon and East Thurrock MP...and deselected Kerry Smith was reselected instead!", Echo, 11 December 2014 Shortly afterwards, the successful candidate, Kerry Smith, resigned as UKIP's nominee for the seat after he was recorded making offensive remarks about fellow party members in a telephone conversation.
Gomes first competed in a Summer Paralympics in 2008 when he attended the games in Beijing. There he reached the finals of the 100m finishing eighth and although qualifying past the first round of the 200m he did not start the semi-finals due to injury. He was also part of the men's 4 × 100 m relay, though the team was disqualified in their first heat, and although scheduled to participate in the triple jump his injury forced him to retire before the event began. Four years later Gomes was reselected for Brazil when he competed in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London.
In April 2017, Goldsmith was reselected as the Conservative Party candidate for Richmond Park prior to the upcoming snap general election to be held on 8 June. He regained the constituency as a Conservative candidate but winning with a majority of just 45 votes, the fifth-slimmest in the election. Less than 24 hours after the 2017 Barcelona attacks, he shared a controversial post on social media which compared ISIS's ideology to that of the left-wing British campaign group Momentum. In March 2019, he was one of 265 Tory MPs that backed a no-deal Brexit being left on the table.
Selected in the rookie draft at the 2003 AFL Draft, he is a medium-sized defender who spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons on the rookie list, playing for South Fremantle. The nephew of The West Australian newspaper sports journalist Mark Duffield, he was a member of South Fremantle's 2005 premiership team. His father, Wayne and uncles Brett and Mark, were all successful country footballers. Due to the AFL rules restricting rookies to a maximum of two years before being elevated or delisted, Duffield was delisted at the end of the 2005 season. However, Fremantle reselected him in the 2005 rookie draft.
Ralph was first capped for Wales against France on 28 February 1931 under the captaincy of Jack Bassett. The game was a walk-over, with Wales winning 35-3, Ralph scored two tries of the seven scored by the Welsh team that day and unsurprisingly was reselected two weeks later to face Ireland. In a bruising encounter, Wales won at Ravenhill, with Ralph again on the score sheet, this time with a drop goal. Later that year he faced Bennie Osler's touring South African team twice, once with Newport, and then again in December as part of the Welsh team.
Judson won his first international cap when, as a member of first class team Llanelli, he was selected to play in the inaugural Home Nations Championship against England. Under the captaincy of Charles Lewis, Judson was one of three Llanelli players in the Wales squad, the others being Alfred Cattell and Harry Bowen. Wales were competent, but unspectacular and were out-classed by Australian wing Charles Wade, in a four tries and two goals to nil loss. Judson was reselected for his second and final international game in the game against Scotland as part of the same Championship.
His loss from the House of Commons was described as "unexpected" by Gerald Kaufman, who particularly regretted it because Woolmer "had developed an impressive expertise in trade policy".Gerald Kaufman, "Farewell, but may you soon return", The Times, 13 June 1983, p. 10. Woolmer had been the principal of Halton Gill Associates, consultants on central and local government, since 1979."Woolmer of Leeds, Baron", Who's Who 2009, A & C Black, 2008; online edn, Oxford University Press, December 2008 accessed 17 July 2009 In 1985 Woolmer was reselected to try to gain Batley and Spen back from the Conservatives.
Howell was reselected for the second and last match of the Championship when he was called up to face Ireland at Lansdowne Road on 3 March 1888. Howell was part of an unchanged pack, the first time this had ever happened for the Wales team, but the team that had been so successful in disrupting the Scottish play, could not recreate their level of play in Ireland. The Irish beat the Welsh for the first time, which ended the Championship careers of eight of the Wales team. Howell was never selected for the national team again.
Galloway gained re-selection when challenged by Trish Godman (wife of fellow MP Norman Godman) in June 1989, but failed to get a majority of the electoral college on the first ballot. This was the worst result for any sitting Labour MP who was reselected, but in the final vote, Galloway gained 62% in total. In his acceptance speech, Galloway assured his party there would be a "summer of peace and reconciliation", but this did not happen. Many members of the party who had supported Godman reportedly refused to work for Galloway in the next election, including Johann Lamont, who later became Leader of the Scottish Labour Party in 2011.
Hiddlestone played in all three of the remaining matches of the 1922 tournament, which saw Wales win the championship. The team beat Ireland and France, and it was only a draw with Scotland that prevented the team taking the Grand Slam title. Hiddlestone was replaced in the 1923 Championship by Gwilym Michael, but at the end of the 1924 season he was reselected for the Welsh team to face the touring New Zealanders. Although not selected as captain of the Welsh team, Hiddlestone decided to lead the team in a response to the All Black's Haka, similar to Teddy Morgan leading the national anthem in 1905.
He was selected at wing, opposite William Charles Powell, for the last three games of the 1920 Five Nations Championship; with his first match played away from home against Scotland. Despite Wales losing the game, Williams was reselected for the next two matches, wins over France and Ireland. In the Ireland game, Williams scored his first international points, with three tries. In 1920 Williams left Llanelli and rugby union by joining professional rugby league team Batley. His signing-on fee was a reported as £400, (based on increases in average earnings, this would be approximately £44,230 in 2016), and he made his début for the club on 28 August.
Educated at St Peter's School in Roath, O'Neill played rugby for St. Peters RFC. O'Neill was first selected to play international rugby for Wales in a game against Scotland as part of the 1904 Home Nations Championship. Now playing for first class team Cardiff, and under the captaincy of Llwynypia's Willie Llewellyn, Wales won the game fairly easily, despite the rough play from Scotland's Bedell-Sivright. O'Neill was reselected for the very next game against Ireland, which Wales narrowly lost. O'Neill played in all three matches of the 1905 Championship which saw Wales win the tournament and the Triple Crown for the fourth time.
In February 2014, after informing party leader Ed Miliband and revealing her decision at the monthly meeting of the Cynon Valley Labour Party, Clwyd announced that she was to stand down at the 2015 general election. However, she subsequently changed her mind but was told that she would need to go through a reselection process as the procedure to find her successor had already been put in train by the Labour Party. On 13 December 2014, she was reselected from an all-women shortlist as the Labour Party candidate in Cynon Valley for the 2015 General Election. Clwyd was one of 13 MPs to vote against triggering the 2017 General Election.
Bancroft was in good form during the match scoring a penalty goal and a conversion. Two tries were scored by Wales in an 11-3 win, one from Viv Huzzey and the other scored by Dobson himself; his first and only international score. After the win, Dobson was reselected in a near unchanged squad that faced and lost to England in the final match of the 1898 Championship. Dobson was back in the Wales squad the next year in the 1899 Championship, joined in the pack only by David Daniel and Willie Alexander from the previous season, the other five players all being new caps.
Kelly appealed to NASA, and was reselected for the mission along with cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko. Kelly, Kornienko, and Gennady Padalka launched aboard Soyuz TMA-16M spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 3:42 pm EDT on March 27, 2015. TMA-16M docked with the ISS at 9:36 pm EDT, and the crew joined the Expedition 43 crew of commander Terry Virts and flight engineers Anton Shkaplerov and Samantha Cristoforetti. Once aboard, the crew performed scientific experiments, including evaluations of the fluid shifts in their bodies to determine their effects on eyesight, and repeated collections of blood and urine for chemical analysis.
Although the Welsh were beaten by two goals and four tries to nil, it was seen as a far more promising result than the teams first meeting 22 months prior, and the selectors kept faith with the majority of the team. Cattell gained his second and final cap for Wales in a game away to Scotland at Raeburn Place. This was the first time the countries had faced each other in a rugby union match, and Wales lost by three goals to one. In the next season four new caps were brought into the Welsh pack and Cattell was not reselected to represent Wales again.
Mills played in all three games of the 1892 Home Nations Championship, and Wales lost all of them. Despite this, the selectors kept faith with the team and in particular the forwards, which paid dividends the next season when Wales, under the captaincy of Arthur 'Monkey' Gould won the Triple Crown for the first time in their history. Mills played in all three games, in a pack which was recognised for its weight, strength and scrummaging tactics. Mills was reselected for the 1894 Home Nations Championship, but a mixture of poor pitch conditions and Welsh in-fighting resulted in two loses and just a single win.
Waddell first represented Scotland in the opening game of the 1924 Five Nations Championship, played against France. Although Scotland lost, Waddell scored his first international in the game with a dropped goal, and was reselected for the rest of the tournament. During the 1924 Championship, Waddell scored a try in a humiliating win over Wales, and a pair of tries in a home victory over Ireland. Although the tournament ended in a poor loss to the eventual champions, England, it turned into a good year for Waddell, with an invitation to tour with the Barbarians immediately after the England game;Starmer-Smith (1977), pg 215.
The selectors brought five new caps into the Welsh team for the Scotland game, and Thomas was one of four new players brought into the pack. Played at St. Helen's in Swansea, Wales dominated the game with the pack providing the Welsh backs with plenty of possession. After the victory over Scotland, Thomas was reselected for the final game of the campaign away to Ireland. The encounter to Ireland ended in Welsh defeat, blamed mainly on poor referee decisions. Thomas was not selected for the 1905 Championship, but was part of the Newport team to face the Original All Blacks, on the All Blacks first overseas tour.
Thomas was eventually reselected for Wales for the 1909 Home Nations Championship, five years after his last Wales appearance. Thomas again missed the opening game of the tournament, brought in as a replacement for George Hayward for the Scotland game. After a win over Scotland, Thomas kept his place for the rest of the Championship, which saw victory over France and then Ireland. By beating all the other Home Nations, Wales won the Championship and collected the Triple Crown; and the victory over France, although not officially part of the tournament until the 1909/10 season, also gave Wales a Grand Slam of wins.
With a combination of speed and agility he managed to score five tries which saw the previously unbeaten Oxford finish 39-9 losers. Maddock's performance on that day is compared to the five try total Gerald Davies achieved against Newport for the Welsh in November 1973. The next season, Maddock was made club captain of the senior London Welsh XV, and after three years out of the Wales international team, was reselected for the opening game of the 1910 Five Nations Championship, and Wales' first Championship encounter with France. The game was, to date, the highest aggregate of any international rugby match, with Wales winning 49-14.
The selectors reacted by bringing in four new caps into the pack, while retaining confidence in veteran backs. Morgan was brought in with Walter Vickery, Allan McCarley and Fred Morgan, which saw the pack transform the Welsh play, resulting in the first Welsh win over England in five years. Morgan was reselected for the rest of the tournament, which saw Wales losing narrowly away to Scotland, and a win over Ireland. Morgan was later selected for the British Lions for their 1938 tour of South Africa, playing in 14 matchesEddie Morgan player profile Swansea RFC and gaining two caps in the first two tests.
Wales lost the game but Taylor would play in the remaining two games of the campaign against Scotland and Ireland. In 1884 Taylor was reselected for Wales, in a team that would host several past and future captains, including Arthur Gould, Tom Clapp, Frank Hancock and Newman. In the 1885 Championship Taylor made his first international score when he converted William Stadden's try, though as no points were given to conversions at the time he is recorded with no career score. In 1885, Taylor was spending much of his time in London, and when a group of Welshmen came together to form a club for London 'exiles', Taylor was among them.
Goldsworthy gained his first international cap, when he was selected to play for Joe Simpson's Wales, against Ireland on 12 April 1884. Played as part of the 1884 Home Nations Championship, this was Ireland's first international in Wales, and the Welsh selectors chose six new caps to represent Wales after the previous game against Scotland. Of the three new players introduced into the pack, Goldsworthy was the only player to represent Wales more than once, as Hinton of Cardiff and Roderick of Llanelli were dropped the very next game. Wales won the game by a drop goal and two tries to nil, and Goldsworthy was reselected the next season.
She made two appearances in two games, playing full minutes and scoring two goals. Following her debut tournament, Sayer was reselected in the Young Matilda's squad for the friendly series against USA and Canada in July 2017, and for the 2017 AFC Qualification Tournament held in China where she made four more appearances in the group stage and final series. She made another appearance in the 2018 friendly match against Thailand where she scored one goal. On 16 July 2018, Alen Stajcic called up Sayer to the Senior Matildas squad to participate in the Tournament of Nations in USA after impressing in her maiden W-League season in with 10 appearances.
In April, Mateo was dropped to New South Wales Cup for 2 matches by newly appointed head coach Andrew McFadden for poor form in the opening rounds of the season. Mateo later was reselected for the Warriors in Round 8 ANZAC Day match against the Melbourne Storm, scoring a try in the Warriors 16–10 win at AAMI Park. Mateo finished off the 2014 NRL season with him playing in 19 matches and scoring a try for the Warriors. On 28 October 2014, Mateo was granted a release from the Warriors to sign with the Manly- Warringah Sea Eagles for the 2015 and 2016 NRL seasons.
Osborne was one of seven new caps, four of whom joined Osborne in a much changed pack. Although lacking international experience many of the players winning their first caps that day went on to form the nucleus of the Wales team that beat The Original All Blacks in 1905, including Arthur Harding, Will Joseph, and fellow collier Dai "Tarw" Jones. In a very close encounter, Osbourne scored his one and only international try on his début; Wales then won the game through a late penalty goal from John Strand-Jones. Osborne was then reselected to face Scotland in the second game of the series, played on Welsh home soil at the Cardiff Arms Park.
Rosser was brought in at centre, partnered with Jack Elwyn Evans of Llanelli. The game was a sporting disaster, with Scotland inflicting their heaviest victory over Wales, and running up a record breaking score in a 35–10 win. Although Rosser was dropped after the Scotland game, missing the encounter with Ireland, he was reselected for the final game of the Championship, away to France. Rosser was originally intended to play at centre, but on the train trip to Paris the Welsh selectors suspended Ossie Male as he had broken a rule preventing any player from representing Wales if they had played club rugby within the week leading up to the international match.
Boon was reselected for the 1932 Home Nations Championship and Wales won their two opening matches against England and Scotland, Boon scoring a try in both games and also managed a 'freak' drop goal in the England match. Wales lost the final game against Ireland, robbing them of a successive championship crown. In 1931, having qualified as a teacher, Boon left Wales to study at Dunfermline College of Education, before teaching at Dunfermline High School, while in Scotland he turned out for Dunfermline, though would still play for Cardiff when ever he could. In 1933 Boon was chosen to face England at Twickenham, a stadium Wales had failed to win at in ten attempts.
Parfitt and Phillips partnered each other in all three games of the 1893 Championship, which saw Wales win all matches and raise the Triple Crown for the first time in the country's history. Parfitt was reselected for Wales for the 1894 Championship, but Welsh campaign had a terrible start when England beat them 24-3. Parfitt gained his only international points during this game when he scored a try, though the Welsh pack squabbled throughout the game, with Frank Hill working against the wishes of his captain Gould. After a win against Scotland, Parfitt saw his partnership at scrum-half change, when in the final game of the tournament against Ireland, Phillips was replaced by Cardiff's Ralph Sweet- Escott.
For the problem variant in which not every item must be assigned to a bin, there is a family of algorithms for solving the GAP by using a combinatorial translation of any algorithm for the knapsack problem into an approximation algorithm for the GAP. Using any \alpha- approximation algorithm ALG for the knapsack problem, it is possible to construct a (\alpha + 1)-approximation for the generalized assignment problem in a greedy manner using a residual profit concept. The algorithm constructs a schedule in iterations, where during iteration j a tentative selection of items to bin b_j is selected. The selection for bin b_j might change as items might be reselected in a later iteration for other bins.

Meredith was first selected for Wales on 4 February 1888 in the opening game of the Home Nations Championship against Scotland at Rodney Parade. Meredith was one of seven new caps in the Welsh squad, and one of five in the pack, which included fellow Swansea team mates W.H. Howell and T. Williams. Wales won the game thanks to a single try from Thomas Pryce-Jenkins and Meredith was reselected for the next game of the tournament, played away to Ireland at Lansdowne Road. Although the team was more stable in its selection, with the same eight forwards playing, Ireland won comfortably and for eight of the Welsh team it was their last Championship match.
On 6 June he was selected for the first Test match against New Zealand national team. The British team lost heavily, and although Riston played in a further five games of the tour he was not selected to play in the final two Test matches. In 1910, two years after returning from his time representing the British team, he was selected for the England team, to play France in the Five Nations Championship. One of eight new caps, Ritson experienced his first international win as England overcame a strong French performance to take the match 11–3.Griffiths (1982), p.126 He was reselected for the next and final game of the championship, when England faced Scotland at Edinburgh.
Planners argued that if Kesselring (in charge of German forces in Italy) pulled troops out of the Gustav Line to defend against the Allied assault, then Allied forces would be able to break through the line; if Kesselring didn't pull troops out of the Gustav Line, then Operation Shingle would threaten to capture Rome and cut off the German units defending the Gustav Line. Should Germany have adequate reinforcements available to defend both Rome and the Gustav Line, the Allies felt that the operation would nevertheless be useful in engaging forces which could otherwise be committed on another front. The operation was officially canceled on December 18, 1943. However, it was later reselected.
The next game of the Championship saw a vastly altered Welsh pack with four new caps, Daniel was one of the players dropped. Daniel failed to be reselected for three years, but in 1894, the year after Wales had won the Triple Crown, he was brought back into the pack as a replacement for Newport's David Samuel. Daniel kept his place throughout the Championship, which saw Wales lose to England and Ireland, but win at home to Scotland. Despite the fact the Daniel had held down a position for the full series, the next season he was again replaced, this time by William Elsey who was in turn replaced by Ernie George after a single game.
From 1970 to 1971 he served as a whip. Although reselected to fight Manchester Gorton at the 1983 general election, boundary changes substantially altered the constituency boundaries, with the largest part of the constituency, Denton and Audenshaw in Tameside Metropolitan Borough, merging with Reddish in Stockport Metropolitan Borough to form a new Denton and Reddish constituency. Gorton was included with much of the former Manchester Ardwick constituency, which was renamed Manchester Gorton. As there were potentially three Labour MPs contesting two new seats, Marks, who was the senior of the three, stood down, allowing Stockport North's Andrew Bennett to inherit Denton and Reddish and Gerald Kaufman to move across from Ardwick to the new Gorton seat.
Roberts was reselected at halfback for the very next Wales international, in the second and final Welsh game of the 1888 Championship, away to Ireland. Under the captaincy of Tom Clapp, the Welsh team faced an international opposition for the final time playing with three threequarters system, but lost heavily. Roberts was not part of the 1888 Wales team that faced the touring New Zealand Natives, but Roberts also failed to make the Llanelli team that faced the same tourists three days prior. In the opening game of the 1889 Home Nations Championship the fullback position was filled by Cardiff's Hugh 'Sawdust' Hughes, but the next game saw Roberts retake his place at fullback.
He was re-elected as a Londonwide member in 2016 as the second-placed candidate on Labour's Londonwide list. Copley was reselected as one of Labour's Londonwide list candidates for the 2020 London Assembly election, though he was appointed to his Deputy Mayoral role and thus dropped out of the race before the order of candidates was determined. Following his appointment as Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development, Copley resigned as a member of the Assembly and was replaced by the fifth member on Labour's 2016 Londonwide list, Alison Moore. Copley most recently served as Chair of the Assembly's Housing Committee, and also sat on the Transport, Confirmation Hearings, GLA Oversight and Planning committees.
Packer was born in Chipping Norton and educated in the South of England, playing rugby at school boy level for Devon County and West Buckland School. After moving to Wales he became part of the Newport team, and while with Newport was selected to represent Wales as part of the 1891 Home Nations Championship. Under the captaincy of William Bowen, Packer was part of the squad which faced England at Newport in the opening game of the campaign, but after Wales lost, Packer was dropped from the team. It would take four seasons for Packer to be reselected, when he was chosen for the second and third game of the 1895 Championship this time led by Welsh rugby legend Arthur Gould.
The BXJ instruction attempts to switch to Jazelle state, and if allowed and successful, sets the "J" bit in the CPSR; otherwise, it "falls through" and acts as a standard BX (Branch) instruction. The only time when an operating system or debugger must be fully aware of the Jazelle mode is when decoding a faulted or trapped instruction. The Java program counter (PC) pointing to the next instructions must be placed in the Link Register (R14) before executing the BXJ branch request, as regardless of hardware or software processing, the system must know where to begin decoding. Because the current state is held in the CPSR, the bytecode instruction set is automatically reselected after task- switching and processing of the current Java bytecode is restarted.
He was given a rest after the first two Bledisloe Cup tests, allowing Shannon Frizell to serve time as his understudy. Squire was then bought back to play against South Africa, on 15 September 2018, but was replaced by the in-form Patrick Tuipulotu in the 59th minute, suffering from injury once again. The hand injury he suffered against South Africa, in the shocking 34-36 loss, caused him to miss the rest of the Rugby Championship, which New Zealand won once again. The All Blacks' 2018 end-of-year tour saw Squire reselected after recovery from injury. Squire returned to his role as a regular starter, scoring the fourth test try of his career, in the third Bledisloe Cup test, on 27 October 2018, in a 37-20 victory against the Wallabies.
Jonathan Sayeed (born 20 March 1948) is a British politician who was a Conservative Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom from 1983 to 1992 and from 1997 to 2005. Even though he was reselected by the Mid Bedfordshire Conservative Association as the Conservative candidate to recontest his seat in the House of Commons shortly before the 2005 General Election, he was forced to retire by ill health. He was criticised by the Committee on Standards and Privileges for being "at the least negligent, at the worst careless" in respect of a company in which he had an interest but was completely cleared of any impropriety.

Although born in England, there were few rules regarding nationality in the early period of national rugby, and when in 1884, in a game against England, Frank Purdon withdrew in the morning before the game and Simpson was selected to take his place. The game took place at Cardigan Fields in Leeds, which a disappointing crowd of only 2,000 witnessed, and though Wales lost Simpson was reselected for the remaining two games of the 1884 Home Nations Championship. Wales lost again in the second game of the tournament against Scotland, but in the final match of the competition, in a home game at the Cardiff Arms Park, Simpson was given the captaincy. This was Simpson's last game but it resulted in a Welsh win with tries from Tom Clapp and William Norton.
Vile made his debut for Wales against England in 1908, mainly due to injuries to the Swansea pairing of Dicky Owen and Dick Jones.Thomas (1979), pg49 Vile was reportedly very nervous before the match as fog had descended and reduced visibility to 50 yards; and Vile presumed the game would be abandoned, allowing Owen time to recover and regain his place. Although Vile played well, when Owen and Jones were fit they were the first choice pairing for the Welsh selectors, and it wasn't until Owen declined to play in 1912 that Vile got a regular place in the Welsh squad. After a terrible display against England in 1913 Vile was dropped by the selectors, but, surprisingly, was reselected after the First World War to captain Wales against Scotland in 1921 at the age of 37.

The only T37 event at the Games was women's sprinting, for which Jones qualified, winning the bronze medal in the final.

Davies first played rugby as a schoolboy for Pontypridd Grammar School. After the end of the Second World War, while still a schoolboy he represented a Welsh team in two Victory internationals. Davies played his early club rugby for local team Cilfynydd RFC and sporadically he played for other more notable teams, playing his first game of four for Cardiff in the 1945/46 season. He joined Pontypridd where his natural ability was polished by endless training sessions under the tutorship of groundsman Dick Coates.Davies (1980), p. 307 It was while with Pontypridd that Davies was first called to the Wales national squad. His first cap was against Scotland in the 1947 Five Nations Championship, partnered at fly half with Haydn Tanner. In December 1947 Davies was chosen for his second Welsh international game, a 6–0 victory over the touring Australian team, this time partnered with Handel Greville.
Oxford won the game by a goal and a try to nil, mainly due to the strong play of Bromet and the rest of the team's forwards. England won convincingly, with good work by Bromet and Donald Jowett, setting up Roger Parker Wilson's second try in a 9–0 victory. Although Bromet missed the final England game of the 1891 Championship, at the end of the season, he was approached to join the first RFU sanctioned overseas tour with the British Isles team.
