As the national umbrella organization, GALCK made considerable gains in increasing the voice and visibility of the sexual orientation gender identity and expression (SOGIE) movement until 2011/2012. The latter period, characterized by organizational and financial management challenges, brought almost all GALCK’s regular functioning to a standstill. In 2013, in a demonstration of extraordinary resilience, the community established the GALCK Reloaded Task-force (GRT) to re-activate and restructure the Coalition and re-establish its position at the center of the Kenyan SOGIE movement. Since then, the Coalition under the stewardship of the voluntary GRT has grown from strength to strength, shedding a very positive and promising light on the future of the Kenyan SOGIE movement.

The decision to build this powerline was made in 1977 and it went in operation in 1985. The line went out of service after Poland joined the synchronous grid of Continental Europe (UCTE). However, there was a plan to re-activate this line after 2010 by constructing a back-to-back conversion station on the Polish end of the line, but this was not implemented. In 2016 Energoatom announced it was considering disconnecting unit 2 of the Khmelnitskiy Nuclear Power Plant from the Ukrainian power grid and using the powerline to connect to the Burshtyn TES energy island which operates on the European power grid, to facilitate exports to Poland and Hungary..

Two orbits after the abort, Russian flight controllers commanded the automated rendezvous system to re- activate for the collection of data. A second redocking attempt had to be delayed till 28 July 2012 to de-conflict with the arrival of the Japanese Kounotori 3 spacecraft at the ISS on 27 July 2012. A likely cause for the aborted rendezvous was pointed at lower than expected temperatures on Progress M-15M. As a solution to the issue, Russian engineers turned on all available heaters on the spacecraft, which kept Progress M-15M at a constant 22°, which in turn resulted in Kurs-NA activating successfully, paving the way for the second docking attempt.

In addition, it has been shown that the pro-apoptotic activity of p53 is restrained by the Rb pathway, such that Rb deficient tumor cells become sensitive to p53 mediated cell death.

The Greenfield Terminal project was to encompass the construction of a four level terminal building comprising a central processing area, a transit hotel, landside retail centers, arrivals and departures plaza. Ancillary facilities which would have included an access road, car parking, access taxiways, Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and bus parking areas. On 29 March 2016, the KES 56 billion (US$560 Million) Greenfield Terminal Project was terminated by Kenya Airports Authority because the contractor failed to secure funds thus ending Kenya's dream of having the largest terminal in Africa. It however remains to be seen whether future administrations like the Grand Coalition Government of 2008-2013 will re-activate the project which is necessary for Nairobi and Kenya's future aviation needs in the 2020s, 2030s and beyond.

Sonsonate squad in 2016 season On 9 September 2009, César Antonio Contreras and Miguel Antonio Castillo along with Pedro Antonio Contreras and with the support of the Sonsonate department (in particular the head of the department José Roberto Aquino) were able to re-activate Sonsonate from defunct status and begin their time in the modern era. The club competed in the Tercera División for a few years, before winning promotion to the Segunda División in 2011, under the direction of Ricardo Andrés Navarro. Despite strong club following and several finals appearances the club failed to win either the Segunda Division Apertura or Clausura title to achieve promotion in the Primera Division. However, on the 12 July 2015, the club purchased the spot of recently promoted Real Destroyer meaning the club will participate in the Primera division for the first time in fifteen years (last time was 1999).

This struggle was felt both to black worshipers, who sometimes found themselves segregated and ostracized, and white members who were embarrassed by the exclusionary practices and who occasionally apostatized over the issue. In 1971, three African-American Mormon men petitioned then–church president Joseph Fielding Smith to consider ways to keep black families involved in the church and also re-activate the descendants of black pioneers. As a result, Smith directed three apostles to meet with the men on a weekly basis until, on October 19, 1971, an organization called the Genesis Group was established as an auxiliary unit of LDS Church to meet the needs of black Mormons. The first president of the Genesis Group was Ruffin Bridgeforth, who also became the first black Latter Day Saint to be ordained a high priest after the priesthood ban was lifted later in the decade.

Further tensions within UCD over the electoral system to be established by the Statute led to an internal party crisis, which was aggravated after the split of former prime minister Adolfo Suárez's Democratic and Social Centre (CDS).
