Stoner is a photographer who writes Gekkostate's illegal magazine, ray=out.

Toadie then publicly calls Ray out on his treatment of Dee and then he leaves. Dee realises she has feelings for Toadie and they eventually begin dating. Darcy conspires to break Toadie and Dee up with multiple schemes. Claiming to have turned over a new leaf, he plays the pair off against each other whilst pretending to be a sensitive confidant to both.

Bart was in love with Ray's girlfriend, whom Ray treated like dirt. However, Bart realized that he did not have a chance with her either and ended up knocking Ray out and leaving him, not knowing that hitmen were on their way.

A call from his grandmother Lulu brings Lipsha Morrisey home to the reservation after living with his father Gerry in Fargo. Ray does not tell Jack about Mexico, because Ray wants to get his car back alone. Jack figures out this deception and follows Ray out of town. Ray is able to ditch Jack when Jack gets drunk in Laredo and again when Jack's car breaks down in Mexico. In Laredo, Ray is inspired to ditch drunken Jack, when an old clown gives Ray a card that says, “Kwitcherbellyachin”.

Mary Jane gets a little jealous of Lois Lane, who reassures her that she is not interested in Peter Parker. Then, Lex Luthor, disguised as Superman, swoops in and shoots a teleportation ray out of his Superman mask, teleporting Lois and Mary Jane to an unknown destination. Luthor flies away, and both Peter and Clark soon follow him and change into their respective costumes. Superman mistakenly blames Spider-Man for the disappearance of the two women.

Eve meets Ray Hopkins (Bruce Alexander) at a pottery class, and the two begin dating. Al is suspicious of Ray when he discovers the pair are in a relationship, as he believes that Ray is a conman. Ray proposes to Eve, to which she accepts, but it is later revealed that he has several other girlfriends, fiancées and wives, but forgets them due to having dementia. When Al and Eve discover this, Eve kicks Ray out.

May is taken to Joe Leon but Ned insists on keeping her alive to lure Ray out. Ned listens in as Ray calls May, he refuses to meet with her and be "set up" again but she convinces him that she truly does care about him. He arranges a meeting at a seafood restaurant and May uses secret coding to tell him it's a trap before hanging up. When Ned sends May inside, the restaurant explodes.

A few moments after Marie leaves, a nurse enters the waiting room and asks for Debra. Debra asks how the procedure went and the nurse, after asking whether Ray had any medical conditions that he did not disclose, states that they are having trouble bringing Ray out of the anesthesia. Debra starts to cry and the rest of the family (minus Marie who is in the bathroom) comes over. Debra tells them what the nurse said and everyone begins to panic.

Eureka Seven is an anime series created and produced by Bones and directed by Tomoki Kyoda. The series ran for a total of fifty episodes, as well as a recap special titled "Navigation ray=out", which recaps the first half of the series. The first episode aired in Japan on April 17, 2005, and the final episode on April 2, 2006. In the second season, after saying her goodbyes to Pete, Tara enlists Eric to help her bring down his father. Tara rents office space from solicitor George Cusack (Maria Doyle Kennedy) who in turn helps her get Ray out of jail. Tara confronts Meg about her betrayal to which Meg makes clear that Tara isn't the person she exclusively works for. From one winning to another between 1994 and 1997 Poeder climbed the stairs of success culminating in winning the World Boxing Union (Original 1995-2004) cruiserweight title on the 15th of June 1997. Poeder knocked Terry Ray out in the third round winning the fight through a technical knock-out (TKO). The TKO and the KO were Poeder’s characteristic way of winning a fight during his career as a pro.

It is revealed after the second target is killed that May has actually been forced into a partnership with Ned, whose goal was to coax Ray out of hiding. After the job in South America went wrong, Ned was dismissed from the CIA and is intent on revenge. When the trap for Tomas is set, May is in the room; the resulting explosion appears to kill them both. When Ned goes to Joe to pay his respects, he is left alive only so he can find Ray and bring him to Joe before Tomas is buried.

Though not having a role in the story, Sumner and Ruri are from the video games TR1: New Wave and New Vision and make a cameo appearance in episode 45, watching something launching into space; Ruri has the latest issue of ray=out in her pocket, and the two are apparently listening to a radio. The events surrounding Sumner take place a few years prior to that of the anime. They are also the main characters of the Eureka Seven: Gravity Boys and Lifting Girl prequel manga, which chronicles Sumner and Ruri's lives when they were Renton's age.

An opportunity to do so literally falls into his lap when a large mechanical robot, called the Nirvash type ZERO, and Eureka, its pilot and a member of Gekkostate, crash into Renton's room. Renton's grandfather orders him to deliver a special part to the Nirvash called the "Amita Drive", which releases the immense power dormant within the type ZERO called the "Seven Swell Phenomenon". Afterwards, Renton is invited to join Gekkostate, where he quickly discovers that the behind-the-scenes life of Gekkostate is hardly as glamorous or as interesting as printed in the glossy pages of their magazine, ray=out. Only one thing makes it all worthwhile for him: the presence of Eureka, the mysterious pilot of the Nirvash.

Ray Krebbs was born on October 19, 1945, in Emporia, Kansas. His alleged father, Amos Krebbs, left his mother, Margaret Hunter Krebbs, and him when Ray was three years old. At age 15, Ray was sent off to Dallas and to the Southfork Ranch with a letter from his recently deceased mother asking Jock Ewing to help Ray out. Ray's mother, a United States Army Air Corps nurse, was a woman with whom Jock had an affair during World War II. At the time when Ray arrived on Southfork, both Jock and Miss Ellie Ewing knew that Ray was the son of the same woman with whom Jock had an affair in Britain during the war, but they did not know at that time that Ray was Jock's son.

He is fond of candy, often has a stash of it somewhere on his person, and once told Renton that the candy was part of an important memory in his relationship with Mischa. Possessing many insights on the Scub Coral, the Coralians, LFOs, and Eureka, Bear is both stunned and overjoyed to learn that from a scientific viewpoint they were found to be almost identical to the Vodarac teachings of Norb; the similarities were revealed in a taped meeting aboard the Gekko. The underground video of this, along with the information published in Ray=Out became one of the main factors for many people, including some military leaders, to reject what Dewey's group was doing.

Skinheads is based around three generations of the same family – Terry English, his nephew Ray (aka Nutty Ray), and Terry’s fifteen-year-old son Lol (named after the ska singer Laurel Aitken). While the bulk of the book is set in the present day, it includes recurring sections from periods considered key to the skinhead culture – 1969 and the early 1980s – with events linking to the overriding story. Terry is the main character, an original skinhead approaching his fiftieth birthday and mourning the loss of his wife, while attempting to keep the volatile Ray out of trouble and concerned that his fifteen-year-old son Laurel might be a closet hippy. Terry is also facing a life-or-death problem, but finds strength in his long-term friendships, the responsibilities of running a mini-cab firm, a dream to re-open the boarded-up and recently rediscovered Union Jack Club, and his ongoing love of Jamaican ska and bluebeat.
