Thus, the pattern is better referred to as a "linear propagator", or spaceship.
Both retarded and advanced fields appear respectively as retarded and advanced propagators and also in the Feynman propagator and the Dyson propagator. In hindsight, the relationship between retarded and advanced potentials shown here is not so surprising in view of the fact that, in field theory, the advanced propagator can be obtained from the retarded propagator by exchanging the roles of field source and test particle (usually within the kernel of a Green's function formalism). In field theory, advanced and retarded fields are simply viewed as mathematical solutions of Maxwell's equations whose combinations are decided by the boundary conditions.

The energy carried by the particle in the propagator can even be negative. This can be interpreted simply as the case in which, instead of a particle going one way, its antiparticle is going the other way, and therefore carrying an opposing flow of positive energy. The propagator encompasses both possibilities. It does mean that one has to be careful about minus signs for the case of fermions, whose propagators are not even functions in the energy and momentum (see below).

The most common use of the propagator is in calculating probability amplitudes for particle interactions using Feynman diagrams. These calculations are usually carried out in momentum space. In general, the amplitude gets a factor of the propagator for every internal line, that is, every line that does not represent an incoming or outgoing particle in the initial or final state. It will also get a factor proportional to, and similar in form to, an interaction term in the theory's Lagrangian for every internal vertex where lines meet.

The one difference is that the sign of one propagator is wrong in the Lorentz case: the timelike component has an opposite sign propagator. This means that these particle states have negative norm—they are not physical states. In the case of photons, it is easy to show by diagram methods that these states are not physical—their contribution cancels with longitudinal photons to only leave two physical photon polarization contributions for any value of . If the averaging over is done with a coefficient different from , the two terms don't cancel completely.
If the variation in the action exceeds by many orders of magnitude, we typically have destructive interference other than in the vicinity of those trajectories satisfying the Euler–Lagrange equation, which is now reinterpreted as the condition for constructive interference. This can be shown using the method of stationary phase applied to the propagator. As decreases, the exponential in the integral oscillates rapidly in the complex domain for any change in the action. Thus, in the limit that goes to zero, only points where the classical action does not vary contribute to the propagator.

Finally, the log propagator propagates the change to all indices. For each index, it grabs that index's primary key value from the item, then performs the same write on that index without log propagation. If the operation is an Update to a preexisting item, the updated attribute may serve as a primary key for an index, and thus the B tree for that index must update as well. B trees only handle insert, delete, and read operations, so in practice, when the log propagator receives an Update operation, it issues both a Delete operation and a Put operation to all indices.

In quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, the propagator is a function that specifies the probability amplitude for a particle to travel from one place to another in a given time, or to travel with a certain energy and momentum. In Feynman diagrams, which serve to calculate the rate of collisions in quantum field theory, virtual particles contribute their propagator to the rate of the scattering event described by the respective diagram. These may also be viewed as the inverse of the wave operator appropriate to the particle, and are, therefore, often called (causal) Green's functions (called "causal" to distinguish it from the elliptic Laplacian Green's function). The mathematics of PDEs and the wave equation, p 32.

Recently, the two built-ins `in/2` and `notin/2` have been extended to allow positive and negative table (also called extensional) constraints. Thanks to the employment of AR as the implementation language, the constraint solving part of B-Prolog is relatively small (3800 lines of Prolog code and 6000 lines of C code, including comments and spaces) but its performance is very competitive. The AR language is open to the user for implementing problem-specific propagators. For example, the following defines a propagator for maintaining arc consistency for the constraint `X+Y #= C`. Whenever an inner element `Ey` is excluded from the domain of `Y`, this propagator is triggered to exclude `Ex`, the counterpart of `Ey`, from the domain of `X`.

In quantum field theory wave function renormalization is a rescaling (or renormalization) of quantum fields to take into account the effects of interactions. For a noninteracting or free field the field operator creates or annihilates a single particle with probability 1. Once interactions are included, however, this probability is modified in general to Z eq 1\. This appears when one calculates the propagator beyond leading order; e.g.

The dehydrogenation of digermane on gold leads to the formation of germanium nanowires.
A loop in a Feynman diagram requires an integral over a continuum of possible energies and momenta. In general, the integrals of products of Feynman propagators diverge at propagator poles, and the divergences must be removed by renormalization. The process of renormalization might be thought of as a theory of cancellations of virtual particle paths, thus revealing the "bare" or renormalized physics, such as the pole mass.

Josef Aleš-Lyžec (1862 Písek – 27 September 1927 Boseň) was a Czech teacher and sportsman. He was descendant of known south-Bohemian Aleš family, cousin of well-known painter Mikoláš Aleš and father of famous writer Josef Váchal (J. Aleš-Lyžec never married his mother Anna Váchalová, so his son got mother's name). He was great propagator of skiing (the old Czech word lyžec means Ski-Man in English).
The fact that the homotopy classes of paths (i.e. notion of equivalence on braids) are relevant hints at a more subtle insight. It arises from the Feynman path integral, in which all paths from an initial to final point in spacetime contribute with an appropriate phase factor. Recall that the Feynman path integral can be motivated from expanding the propagator using a method called time-slicing, in which time is discretized.
Eurasian jays will also bury the acorns of other oak species, and have been cited by the National Trust as a major propagator of the largest population of holm oak (Q. ilex) in Northern Europe, situated in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. Jays have been recorded carrying single acorns as far as 20 km, and are credited with the rapid northward spread of oaks following the last ice age.
In his studies he used as well the Coupled Cluster and the Polarization Propagator methods. The list of his wide scientific interests has to be limited here to a few examples: Early investigations have addressed hydrogen bonding. The results have been summarized in his Habilitation Thesis (Habilitationsschrift). He has created the first video (1968) of the electron distribution change in the hydrogen bond formation of the water dimer.
The fourth berry we tasted, later identified as "Reveille," topped my list for its firm texture and those stirring bugle riffs of flavor. But I found most amazing the sheer differences in size, texture, and taste between the various cultivars. The nursery, says its website, is the primary licensee and propagator (in the United States) of new fruit varieties developed by Zaiger's Genetics, including the Pluot and the Aprium.
In theoretical physics, the Vafa–Witten theorem, named after Cumrun Vafa and Edward Witten, is a theorem that shows that vector-like global symmetries (those that transform as expected under reflections) such as isospin and baryon number in vector-like gauge theories like quantum chromodynamics cannot be spontaneously broken as long as the theta angle is zero. This theorem can be proved by showing the exponential fall off of the propagator of fermions.
Roughly speaking, a Feynman diagram is called connected if all vertices and propagator lines are linked by a sequence of vertices and propagators of the diagram itself. If one views it as an undirected graph it is connected. The remarkable relevance of such diagrams in QFTs is due to the fact that they are sufficient to determine the quantum partition function . More precisely, connected Feynman diagrams determine :i W[J]\equiv \ln Z[J].
Dunnigan clearly places Featherstone in his role as a key propagator of wargaming as a hobby and tool for professionals. In 1956, Tony Bath published what was the first ruleset for a miniature wargame set in the medieval period. These rules were a major inspiration for Gary Gygax's Chainmail (1971). From 1983 to 2010, Games Workshop produced what was the first miniature wargame designed to be used with proprietary models: Warhammer Fantasy.
The first works by Azerbaijani authors in Russian were published in the nineteenth century. In 1883 Ahmad bey Javanshir wrote a historical sketch in Russian entitled "On the Political status of Karabakh Khanate between 1745-1805." Ismayil bey Gutgashynly and Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli published original works in Russian in the years before the October Revolution. The great propagator of the Russian language among the Azeri population was playwright Mirza Fatali Akhundov, founder of Azeri dramaturgy.
Consequently, the propagator becomes that of a free particle and the field is no longer interacting. For a 4 interaction, Michael Aizenman proved that the theory is indeed trivial, for space-time dimension ≥ 5. For = 4, the triviality has yet to be proven rigorously, but lattice computations have provided strong evidence for this. This fact is important as quantum triviality can be used to bound or even predict parameters such as the Higgs boson mass.
It went on hiatus for the duration of World War I, but resumed publishing once peace was restored. It continued publishing issues throughout the German occupation of Serbia during World War II. Once the occupation ended, the Heraldwhich had never been a propagator of left-wing viewscame to be viewed with suspicion by Yugoslavia's new communist authorities. In 1945–46, all issues published by the Herald during the German occupation were destroyed by the communists.
The supraspinatus muscle performs abduction of the arm, and pulls the head of the humerus medially towards the glenoid cavity. It independently prevents the head of the humerus to slip inferiorly. The supraspinatus works in cooperation with the deltoid muscle to perform abduction, including when the arm is in adducted position. Beyond 15 degrees the deltoid muscle becomes increasingly more effective at abducting the arm and becomes the main propagator of this action.
Ramsay was associated with Freemasonry from its introduction in France (1725–26). Charles Radclyffe, Earl of Derwentwater, who acted as Grand Master for France beginning in 1736, was present at Ramsay's funeral.George David Henderson, Chevalier Ramsay (London: Thomas Nelson and Sons, 1952). It is presumed that Ramsay's being a Mason facilitated his introduction into the Gentleman's Club of Spalding, of which the prominent Masonic propagator John Theophilus Desaguliers was then also a member.
Euan Hillhouse Methven Cox (1893–1977) was a Scottish plant collector, botanist, and horticulturist, who accompanied Reginald Farrer on his last botanical expedition to Burma and its border with China, from 1919 to 1920. He was a very successful propagator of rhododendrons and had an extensive collection in his garden at Glendoick, Perthshire, Scotland, which formed the basis of his commercial nursery, later run by his son, Peter A Cox, and grandson, Kenneth N.E. Cox.
The protein needed for egg-laying and for the chicks to grow is replaced by fruit sugar which helps the birds to fatten for migration. Aphids are still taken while they are available, since they often contain sugars from the plant sap on which they feed. Blackcaps eat a wide range of small fruit, and squeeze out any seeds on a branch before consuming the pulp. This technique makes them an important propagator of mistletoe.
However, this may be a folk etymology as there were other early temples in different centres with the same name. The monk Zhidun (or Chih Tun) (314–366), who was a famous propagator of Buddhism in the southern capital is recorded as having discussions with Fenghui at the Baima si (Pai ma) monastery in Jiankang (previously Jianye), the capital of the Eastern Jin (317-420).Zürcher (1972), pp. 8, 59, 107, 119, 129.
Osip Mikhailovich Lerner (13 January 1847 - 23 January 1907),Zylbercweig (1934), col. 1162. Zylbercweig notes that the scholar Sh. Borovoy gives Lerner's birthdate as 1 January 1849. also known as Y. Y. (Yosef Yehuda) Lerner, was a 19th-century Russian Jewish intellectual, writer, and critic. Originally a maskil--a propagator of the Haskala, or "Jewish Enlightenment"-- he became a pioneer in the fields of Yiddish theater and folklore, as well as literary criticism.

Several years later, Daniel Zwanziger also considered the Gribov problem. He used a different approach. Instead of considering the ghost propagator, he computed the lowest eigenvalue of the Faddeev-Popov operator as a perturbative series in the gluon field. This yielded a certain function, which he called the "horizon function", and the vacuum expectation value of this horizon function must be limited to at most one in order to stay within the first Gribov region.
Mahendralal Sarkar CIE (other spellings: মহেন্দ্রলাল সরকার, Mahendra Lal Sarkar, Mahendralal Sircar, Mahendralal Sircir; 2 November 1833 – 23 February 1904) was a Bengali medical doctor (MD), the second MD graduated from the Calcutta Medical College, social reformer, and propagator of scientific studies in nineteenth-century India. He was the founder of the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science.Arun Kumar Biswas. Gleanings of the past and the science movement : in the diaries of Drs.
Akbar was created through Muslim Mindanao Autonomy Act No. 193 dated December 20, 2005. It is composed of 9 barangays that were formerly part of Tuburan, including one island barangay. It has an area of . The place is named after Imam Akbar Marani, a known Islamic preacher/propagator and descendant of Kuddarat, who landed in Taguime (now part of the municipality of Moh’d Ajul) in 17th century and later migrated to central Mindanao.
He decided to choose an extreme life of poorness that exceeded Dominican standards. He founded - and became the first prior at the same time - of the convent in Mevania. Bianconi aided survivors and refugees from Mevania in 1248 after Frederick II sacked the town in 1248. He helped to quash the Nicolaites heretical movement in Umbria and scored a success for the opposition when he managed to convert its chief propagator named Ortinellus.
Beyond symbols, icons, and external pressures, Qiu has explored the concept of transience in many of his works. His Baguo series of photographs, for instance, displays scenes of streets with market stalls and buildings, but the streets are filled with ghostly half-transparent roaming figures. These "ghosts" imply a sense that they are coming and going but never stationary enough to make a lasting impression, as the buildings have. His Propagator in the Darkness lithograph also presents this theme.
In later life he became involved with the high-profile Pukeiti Gardens at the foot of Mount Taranaki, and was a keen supporter of the Taranaki Rhododendron Trust. His involvement with Pukeiti ranged from weeding and planting to helping design the layout of the reserve. He was described as a tireless collector of rare and good plants as well as an "indefatigable propagator". His own garden at Bell Block was "filled with lilies, bulbs and shrubs".
Regarding virtual particles, the propagator at spacelike separation can be thought of as a means of calculating the amplitude for creating a virtual particle-antiparticle pair that eventually disappears into the vacuum, or for detecting a virtual pair emerging from the vacuum. In Feynman's language, such creation and annihilation processes are equivalent to a virtual particle wandering backward and forward through time, which can take it outside of the light cone. However, no signaling back in time is allowed.
Buddleja 'Lonplum' (selling name ) is a hybrid cultivar raised in 2005 by Peter Moore, Chief Propagator at the Longstock Park Nursery in Hampshire, England. The cultivar is the result of a crossing of B. davidii 'Royal Red' and B. 'Summer Beauty'. was introduced to commerce in 2010, having come 8th overall in the public popularity poll of 97 cultivars held as part of RHS Buddleja trials at Wisley from 2008 to 2010. But to say that he was the "father" of these genres should not be confused with his being the inventor; instead, he was the prime propagator. Indeed, Haydn's accomplishment was the establishment of these genres in the modern sense." Even in his own lifetime, this perspective was prevalent. In 1797, the Tonkünstler-Societät of Vienna passed the resolution to make him a life member, "by virtue of his extraordinary merit as the father and reformer of the noble art of music.
Etteilla is primarily recognized as the founder and propagator of the divinatory tarot, but he also participated in the propagation of the occult tarot by claiming the tarot had an ancient Egyptian origin and was an account of the creation of the world and a book of eternal medicine. Éliphas Lévi revitalized the occult tarot by associating it with the mystical Kabbalah and making it a "prime ingredient in magical lore".Ronald Decker, Thierry Depaulis, and Michael Dummett. In the years preceding the Second Vatican Council, the monks devoted particular attention to the renewal of Christian life and culture in the surrounding area. On March 28, 1938, the monastery at Buenos Aires became independent, being raised to the status of a conventual priory. On October 28, 1950, the monastery was elevated to abbatial status, and Dom Andrés Azcárate (1891-1981) was elected the first abbot of the community. As abbot, Azcárate became an enthusiastic propagator of liturgical reform and Benedictine spirituality.
M. G. Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR, was an actor in Tamil cinema and a well known propagator of Dravidian ideologies in his movies since 1953. In the 1970s as the then treasurer of DMK, he played a vital part in popularising the party, bringing many of his fans as supporters. A political feud between MGR and the party's president M. Karunanidhi had been ongoing since the death of Annadurai in 1969. It arose from Karunanidhi calling himself the "Mujib of Tamil Nadu".
Sastry was born to a Dakshinamurthy couple at Hassanabada village, which is located in Krosuru mandal, in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. He is a native of Amaravathi village, Guntur district. His grandfather, Sriman Malladi Ramakrishna Chainulu, was not only an authority in Vedic and Sanskrit literature, but also a propagator of the Advaita Vedanta Siddhanta (doctrine) over Andhra Pradesh. Sastry studied in the fields of Vedas, vyakaranam (grammar), tarkam (logic), poorva meemamsa (extension of the Vedas), and vedanta sastram (Indian spiritualism).
This means that, when one of the components of the momentum is near /a, the discretized fermion field will again behave like a continuum fermion. This can happen with all d components of the momentum, leading to —with the original fermion with momentum near the origin included— 2d different "tastes" (in analogy to flavor). As the action of scalars contains second derivatives, a similar procedure in this case would lead to a quadratic inverse propagator, which does not have these doublers.
When simply taking the limit a → 0 in the above inverse propagator, one recovers the correct continuum result. However, when instead expanding this expression around a value of pμ where one or more of the components are at the corners of the Brillouin zone (i.e. equal to /a), one finds the same continuum form again, although the sign in front of the gamma matrix can change.Due to these changes in sign, the chiral anomaly cancels exactly, which is not in agreement with phenomenology.
Once the action had become local, it was possible to prove that the resulting theory is renormalizable -- i.e. all infinities generated by loop diagrams can be absorbed by multiplicatively modifying the content (coupling constant, field normalization, Gribov parameter) already present in the theory without needing extra additions. Zwanziger furthermore noted that the resulting gluon propagator does not admit a Källén-Lehmann spectral representation, which signals that the gluon cannot be a physical particle any longer. This is often interpreted as signaling color confinement.
The world line of a radar pulse sent from Earth past the Sun to Venus would however be modeled as a null geodesic arc. In dimensions other than four, the relationship between null geodesics and "light" no longer holds: If "light" is defined as the solution to the Laplacian wave equation, then the propagator has both null and time-like components in odd space-time dimensions, and is no longer a pure Dirac delta function in even space-time dimensions greater than four.
The institution was created in 1873 by a group belonging to the elite of coffee aristocrats who intended to form specialized labor for a possible future industrialization of the country, according to the positivist ideal that preached the "dignity of man through work". Initially it took the name "Propagator Society for People Instruction". During its early years, it was not intended to promote professional education. Nightly courses of first letters and Arithmetic, among others, were lectured for adults and children.
Droplet-aeroponics was easier to manufacture, and as it produced comparable results to mist-aeroponics, Nutriculture began development of a scalable, easy to use droplet-aeroponic system. Through trials they found that aeroponics was ideal for plant propagation; plants could be propagated without medium and could even be grown-on. In the end, Nutriculture acknowledged that better results could be achieved if the plant was propagated in their branded X-stream aeroponic propagator and moved on to a specially designed droplet- aeroponic growing system - the Amazon.
Another text book "Sulabh Sanskritam" written by Pandit Bhatt was published in 1960. For many decades 'Sulabh Sanskritam' remained the main text book prescribed by the Government of Rajasthan for learning Sanskrit. Rightly considering it to be a nationalistic cause, Pandit Bhatt was a great supporter and propagator of Hindi since his student days. On his personal initiative, Jaipur was recognised as one of the centres of examination for various diploma/ degree courses of Prathmaa, Madhyamaa (Visharad) and Uttamaa (Sahityaratna) run by the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan.

Charles Kay Ogden (; 1 June 1889 – 20 March 1957) was an English linguist, philosopher, and writer. Described as a polymath but also an eccentric and outsider,Frank Kermode in the London Review of Books he took part in many ventures related to literature, politics, the arts and philosophy, having a broad effect particularly as an editor, translator, and activist on behalf of a reformed version of the English language. He is typically defined as a linguistic psychologist, and is now mostly remembered as the inventor and propagator of Basic English.
The comet-tailed goldfish breed was developed in the United States from the common goldfish by Hugo Mulertt, a government worker, in the 1880s. The comet goldfish was first seen in the ponds of the U.S. Government Fish Commission in Washington, D.C.."Fancy Goldfish: A Complete Guide to Care and Collecting" by Dr. Erik L. Johnson, D.V.M. and Richard E. Hess, Weatherhill, Shambala Publications, Inc., 2006 - "An Interpet Guide to Fancy Goldfish" by Dr. Chris Andrews, Interpet Publishing, 2002. - Mulertt later became a propagator of goldfish and an author of books on goldfish.
The Triangle Adventure Playground was established in 1957 by Marjorie Porter (1907-2009),Further information about Marjorie Porter can be found in her autobiography, I Was Different: A Long Life in Education (2005, Propagator Press) and her papers in National Co-operative Archive. Marjory Allen, and the London Council. Unlike many other adventure playgrounds established following the Second World War, the Triangle Adventure Playground was never a bombsite. It was established on land set aside for the Ashmole Primary School, which had been cleared as part of a program of 'slum clearance'.
AutoAdmin replaces a node when it stops responding by copying data from another node. When a partition exceeds any of its three thresholds (RCU, WCU, or 10GB), AutoAdmin will automatically add additional partitions to further segment the data. Just like indexing systems in the relational model, DynamoDB demands that any updates to a table be reflected in each of the table's indices. DynamoDB handles this using a service it calls the "log propagator", which subscribes to the replication logs in each node and sends additional Put, Update, and Delete requests to indices as necessary.
Sant Goswami Tulsidas Awadhi Hindi poet and propagator of Bhakthi music in Varanasi Varanasi's music tradition is traced to the Pauranic days. According to ancient legend, Shiva is credited with evolving music and dance forms. During the medieval era, Vaishnavism, a Bhakti movement, grew in popularity, and Varanasi became a thriving center for musicians such as Surdas, Kabir, Ravidas, Meera and Tulsidas. During the monarchic rule of Govind Chandra in the 16th century, the Dhrupad style of singing received royal patronage and led to other related forms of music such as Dhamar, Hori, and Chaturang.
Under Akram Yari's leadership, PYO had strong support among the masses of workers and students in the cities of Afghanistan. Among the people of Afghanistan, the movement that PYO led is famous by the name of Shola-e-Jawid and its members were commonly known as the Sholais (Flamists), after the name of their journal. Akram Yari was a teacher and propagator of Marxism and introduced Marxism to a large number of intellectuals and political activists in Afghanistan, among them Dr. Faiz Ahmad, founder of Afghanistan Liberation Organization (ALO).
Gergely Berzeviczy Gergely Berzeviczy berzeviczei és kakaslomniczi (, Slovak: Gregor Berzevici or Gregor Berzeviczy, German: Gregor Berzeviczy) (15 June 1763 – 23 February 1822) was an important political economist in the Kingdom of Hungary, follower of Adam Smith, one of the first political economists in Hungary. He was also a successful writer and an enthusiastic propagator of the High Tatras. He was born on 15 June 1763 in Veľká Lomnica (Kakaslomnic) in the Kingdom of Hungary (now Slovakia) and died at the same place on 23 February 1822. He is renowned both in Hungary and Slovakia.
Beginning in the 1960s, Arnold Arboretum propagator Al Fordham created a seed herbarium in the Dana Greenhouse. Collecting the seed of several hundred rare and unusual taxa, Fordham envisioned a unique resource for the identification and propagation of woody plants from around the world. Carrying forward Fordham’s vision, Arboretum greenhouse staff continued to collect seed, and today maintain a seed herbarium of more than 2,000 samples, almost a third of which are from accessioned plants in the living collection. The SHIP team installed an on-location archival image library, which holds digital seed herbarium images.
Philip Benizi de Damiani (1233-1285) St. Philip Benizi was elected general on 5 June 1267, and afterwards became the great propagator of the order. The Second Council of Lyons in 1274 put into execution the ordinance of the Fourth Lateran Council, forbidding the foundation of new religious orders, and suppressed all mendicant institutions not yet approved by the Holy See. In the year 1276 Pope Innocent V in a letter to St. Philip declared the order suppressed. St. Philip proceeded to Rome, but before his arrival there Innocent V had died.
The model was not included with the original path-integral article because a suitable generalization to a four-dimensional spacetime had not been found. R. P. Feynman, The Development of the Space-Time View of Quantum Electrodynamics, Science, 153, pp. 699–708, 1966 (Reprint of the Nobel Prize lecture). One of the first connections between the amplitudes prescribed by Feynman for the Dirac particle in 1+1 dimensions, and the standard interpretation of amplitudes in terms of the kernel, or propagator, was established by Jayant Narlikar in a detailed analysis.
William Irvine (; 1863–1947), sometimes Irvin or Irwin in contemporary documents, was an evangelist from the late nineteenth century, and continuing through the first half of the twentieth century. He is regarded as the founder and early propagator of the Two by Twos movement. Rapid growth was experienced in its initial decades, and Irvine eventually came into conflict with the regional overseers whom he had appointed to administer the now worldwide religion. Irvine was excommunicated by the overseers in 1914 and eventually moved to Jerusalem, supported by loyalists who followed him out of the movement.
This technology has, to a large extent, removed the incentive for collectors to travel to Sabah to collect the plant illegally, and demand for wild-collected plants has fallen considerably in recent years.Clarke 1997, p. 172. Rob Cantley, a prominent conservationist and artificial propagator of Nepenthes plants, assesses the current status of plants in the wild as follows: > This species grows in at least 2 distinct sub-populations, both of which are > well protected by Sabah National Parks Authority. One of the populations > grows in an area public access to which is strictly prohibited without > permit.
Thomas Farnaby states that Thomson lived for some time under the protection of Sir Robert Killigrew, and that he was a great interpreter of Martial. Henry Hickman styles him ‘the grand propagator of Arminianism,’ and Prynne describes him as ‘a debosh'd drunken English Dutchman, who seldom went one night to bed sober;’ but on the other hand Richard Montagu, who knew him well, says that he was ‘a most admirable philologer,’ and that ‘he was better known in Italy, France, and Germany than at home.’ He was buried at St. Edward's, Cambridge, on 8 January 1613.
In a non- relativistic theory, there are no antiparticles and there is no doubling, so each Feynman diagram includes only one term. Feynman gave a prescription for calculating the amplitude (the Feynman rules, below) for any given diagram from a field theory Lagrangian. Each internal line corresponds to a factor of the virtual particle's propagator; each vertex where lines meet gives a factor derived from an interaction term in the Lagrangian, and incoming and outgoing lines carry an energy, momentum, and spin. In addition to their value as a mathematical tool, Feynman diagrams provide deep physical insight into the nature of particle interactions.
Alexander puts this assertion to the > test, having one of the jars filled with wine and poured out for his > soldiers during a banquet. This exact specification has been maintained, > heedless of the Islamic ban on the use of wine ... These retouched > borrowings are highly significant in this text, because the Arabic Alexander > figure is portrayed as a propagator of Islamic monotheism. Another piece of Arabic Alexander literature is the Laments (or Sayings) of the Philosophers. These are a collection of remarks supposedly made by some philosophers gathered at the tomb of Alexander after his death.
Later he served for a Polish magnate Stanisław Tęczyński (important propagator of Reformation in Poland) as secretary and diplomat. Tęczyński sent him with many diplomatic missions abroad (e.g. to Turkey, Sweden, and Denmark). In 1555 Otwinowski adopted Calvinism, but after 1570 until his death became an ardent supporter of the nontrinitarian Polish Brethren Church. In 1564 he became famous because of his public “blasphemy” against the Catholic doctrine of Transubstantiation during the Corpus Christi procession in Lublin. After Tęczyński’s death in 1561, Otwinowski returned to Poland for good, where he remained active as a humanist, theologian, and Renaissance poet.
The only one of his works which has been preserved is his lexicon. In it he appears as the true pupil of Ibn Ezra, becoming, like him, the propagator of Hebrew philology and Biblical exegesis as they flourished in the Arabic language in Spain. Ibn Parḥon relates in his preface that when he came to Salerno he found the people there entirely ignorant of the products of Judæo-Spanish literature, being acquainted only with the lexicon of Menahem ibn Saruḳ. He determined, therefore, to compile a lexicon to the Bible in which the substance of that literature should be made accessible in Hebrew.
Between his descendants are e.g.: Wilhelm Salomon de Friedberg- governor of Mościska, polish palaeontologist Wilhelm Friedberg, or his nephew, historian Marian Friedberg, former deputy foreman of Kraków a state secretary in ministry of transportation and maritime economy Jan Stanisław Friedberg or metallurgist Henry Salomon de Friedberg. The last, third, line originates from August Ignác (1795 – 1880) economy councillor, who followed his father back into Bohemia. His son was, perhaps together after only Václav Mořic, one of the most important in the Salomon family - lieutenant field marshal, painter, writer and propagator of healthy lifestyle, Emanuel Salomon von Friedberg-Mírohorský.
He is the propagator of Islam in that region along with Bari Imam who was his first cousin from his father's side. Legend has it that he was born by Bari Imam's dua who once told his uncle "you will soon have an illustrious son, who will be a Wali of an exalted order and by his name I shall alight my path". They both lived in the same time carrying out their spiritual duties in their own areas. Shah Chan Charagh was a disciple of Syed Sakhi Shah Inayat Walayat who was his maternal uncle, a highly celebrated Wali.
The spiritual relationship with the Abbey of Cluny continued with the descendants of Sancho III until the reign of King Alfonso VI with whom the relationship moved from being a purely spiritual sympathy to one which has economic ties and political and religious influences. The monastery of Sahagún in León was a central one, as it was the biggest propagator of the Cluniac observance. Alfonso VI became the center of Cluny and became its protector. It was called "The Spanish Cluny", the abbey being more powerful in the kingdoms of León and Castile, which had nearly 100 monasteries.
The Dana Greenhouses, located at 1050 Centre Street (with a mailing address of 125 Arborway), were completed in 1962. They comprise four service greenhouses totaling 3,744 square feet (348 m²), the headhouse with offices, cold rooms, storage areas, and a classroom. Staffing at the greenhouse includes the manager of greenhouses and nurseries, the plant propagator, two assistants, and, during the summer months, two horticultural interns. Adjacent to the greenhouse is a shade house of 3,150 square feet (293 m²), a 12,600 cubic foot (357 m³) cold storage facility, and three irrigated, inground nurseries totaling approximately one and one-half acres (6,000 m²).
Koppel states that American women turned to Glenn, who had been elevated in the media because of her all-American family, as a role model on how to maintain a happy home, and also an indirect propagator of the American value of consumption. The appearance of the Astronaut Wives in the media was marketed to average American housewives. For example, when the wives wore a shade of "responsible pink" lipstick to a Life photoshoot, the published photographs were retouched to show the wives wearing "patriotic red" lipstick instead. The lip color was changed to represent a new, vibrant period in American history.
His 1949 paper on "The Theory of Positrons" addressed the Schrödinger equation and Dirac equation, and introduced what is now called the Feynman propagator. Finally, in papers on the "Mathematical Formulation of the Quantum Theory of Electromagnetic Interaction" in 1950 and "An Operator Calculus Having Applications in Quantum Electrodynamics" in 1951, he developed the mathematical basis of his ideas, derived familiar formulae and advanced new ones. While papers by others initially cited Schwinger, papers citing Feynman and employing Feynman diagrams appeared in 1950, and soon became prevalent. Students learned and used the powerful new tool that Feynman had created.
Furthermore, the dynamics of the fields tend to favor spatially correlated fluctuations to some extent. The nonzero time- ordered product for spacelike-separated fields then just measures the amplitude for a nonlocal correlation in these vacuum fluctuations, analogous to an EPR correlation. Indeed, the propagator is often called a two-point correlation function for the free field. Since, by the postulates of quantum field theory, all observable operators commute with each other at spacelike separation, messages can no more be sent through these correlations than they can through any other EPR correlations; the correlations are in random variables.
Soon thereafter, he withdrew again to Capriola to compose a further series of sermons. He resumed his missionary labours in 1436, but was forced to abandon them when he became vicar-general of the Observant branch of the Franciscans in Italy in 1438. Bernardino had worked to grow the Observants from the outset of his religious life: although he was not in fact its founder (the origins of the Observants, or Zelanti, can be traced back to the middle of the fourteenth century). Nevertheless, Bernardino became to the Observants what St. Bernard had been to the Cistercians, their principal support and indefatigable propagator.
In solid state physics, the Luttinger–Ward functional, proposed by Joaquin Mazdak Luttinger and John Clive Ward in 1960, is a scalar functional of the bare electron-electron interaction and the renormalized many-body Green's function. In terms of Feynman diagrams, the Luttinger–Ward functional is the sum of all closed, bold, two-particle irreducible diagrams, i.e., all diagrams without particles going in or out that do not fall apart if one removes two propagator lines. It is usually written as \Phi[G] or \Phi[G,U], where G is the Green's function and U is the bare interaction.
The model was proposed in part in order to reproduce the cosmic acceleration of dark energy without any need for a small but non-zero vacuum energy density. But critics argue that this branch of the theory is unstable. However, the theory remains interesting because of Dvali's claim that the unusual structure of the graviton propagator makes non-perturbative effects important in a seemingly linear regime, such as the solar system. Because there is no four-dimensional, linearized effective theory that reproduces the DGP model for weak-field gravity, the theory avoids the vDVZ discontinuity that otherwise plagues attempts to write down a theory of massive gravity.
Discover the popular Sicilian music by the ensemble of Milazzo, the ancient town of Mylae. Luciano Maio (born in 1950 in Milazzo, Sicily) has been a propagator of Sicilian culture all his life, as a poet, artist, painter, singer, fisherman, sculptor, lyricist, and as a composer. In the early 1970s he founded 'Taberna Mylaensis' and initiated the recovery of the great traditional music of Sicily, on the wave of the student revolts of 1968 with its expectations for social renovation. In the years to follow, 'Taberna Mylaensis' has had various line-ups, with Luciano Maio as its steady centre during which the band released 10 LPs and CDs.
This states that the total amplitude to arrive at (x,t) [that is, \psi(x,t)] is the sum, or the integral, over all possible values of x' of the total amplitude to arrive at the point (x',t') [that is, \psi(x',t' )] multiplied by the amplitude to go from x' to x [that is, K(x,t;x',t').Eq 3.42 in Feynman and Hibbs, Quantum Mechanics and Path Integrals, emended edition: It is often referred to as the propagator of a given system. This (physics) kernel is the kernel of integral transform. However, for each quantum system, there is a different kernel.
A method for deriving optimal execution schedules that minimize a risk-adjusted cost function was proposed by Bertsimas and Lo. Almgren and Chriss provided closed- form solutions of the basic risk-adjusted cost optimization problem with a linear impact model and trivial alpha profile. More recent solutions have been proposed based on a propagator model for market impact, but here again the alpha profile is assumed to be trivial. In practice, impact is non-linear and the optimal schedule is sensitive to the alpha profile. A diffusion model yields a functional form of market impact including an estimate of the speed exponent at 0.25 (trading faster causes more impact).
According to his later legende, Philip Benizi was born on August 15 in the Florentine district of Oltrarno, the day the Blessed Virgin first appeared to the Seven Founders. He became the great propagator of the Order of the Servants of Mary (the Servites). When he was elected the general superior on June 5, 1267, the order, which had long been the object of attack from enemies, entered into the crisis of its existence. The Second Council of Lyons in 1274 put into execution the ordinance of the Fourth Lateran Council, forbidding the foundation of new religious orders, and absolutely suppressing all mendicant institutions not yet approved by the Holy See.
Despite immediate positive recognition of his prize-winning work, Huseynov's work was met with criticism by the Communist Party organs in May 1950. Purged Orientalism: Orientalists Who Were Subject to Repressions in the 1920–50s Huseynov was accused of presenting muridism, a philosophical Sufi movement in the Caucasus in the mid-19th century, and specifically its propagator Imam Shamil, in the preface to his book as a "progressive democratic national liberation phenomenon (...) contrary to Marxist ideas and (...) the movement's reactionist and nationalist nature that served the interests of the English capitalism and the Turkish sultan."On the history of the foreign agent schemes in the Caucasian wars. Voprosy istorii. #2.
The Anatolian hypothesis proposes that the Indo-European languages spread peacefully into Europe from Asia Minor from around 7000 BC with the advance of farming (wave of advance). The leading propagator of the theory is Colin Renfrew. The culture of the Indo-Europeans as inferred by linguistic reconstruction raises difficulties for this theory, since early neolithic cultures had neither the horse, nor the wheel, nor metal, terms for all of which are securely reconstructed for Proto-Indo- European. Renfrew dismisses this argument, comparing such reconstructions to a theory that the presence of the word "café" in all modern Romance languages implies that the ancient Romans had cafés too.
Gouget noir may be an offspring of Gouais blanc (pictured) which is also known under the synonym Gouget blanc. The origins of the name Gouget noir is not known. Some wine experts, such as Master of Wine Jancis Robinson, speculate that it may have been named after a vineyard owner and propagator of vine cuttings since Gouget is a common family name. DNA analysis suggests that the grape may be descended from the Hunnic grape Gouais blanc that is known under the synonym Gouget blanc and has sired many French wine grapes such as Chardonnay, Gamay noir, Aubin vert, Balzac blanc and Bachet noir.
The company was established in 1872 by Albert E. Jackson and his son- in-law, Charles H. Perkins, fruit growers and amateur gardeners, who had purchased the property in 1864. Initially, Perkins, a lawyer, banker and Vice- President of Chase Bros. Nursery (Rochester) began experimenting with cultivating grapes and other fruits on the property; however, his growing passion for roses led to a substantial increase in horticultural activity, and in 1884 the company hired E. Alvin Miller, a professional propagator and breeder. This marked a substantial enlargement in the size and professionalism of the company, which began to cultivate roses and other ornamentals on a large scale.
His debut play On the Edge (1929) examined the role of a man of arts in the new Socialist society. In the late 1920s - early 1930s Korniychuk was an active propagator of internationalism, strictly opposing the local National Communist movement in the Ukrainian literature, led by Mykola Khvylovy. In 1933 came out the first significant play by Korniychuk, Death of the Squadron, endorsing the heroic tale of a Bolshevik Black Sea Fleet unit who chose to sink their ships so as not to be taken by the Germans (later revealed to be nothing more than a romantic revolutionary myth). The play impressed Pavel Postyshev, who became the 'local prodigy's mentor.
Feynman checkerboard with two paths contributing to the sum for the propagator from (x/\epsilon c, t/\epsilon) = (0, 0) to (3, 7) The Feynman checkerboard, or relativistic chessboard model, was Richard Feynman’s sum-over-paths formulation of the kernel for a free spin-½ particle moving in one spatial dimension. It provides a representation of solutions of the Dirac equation in (1+1)-dimensional spacetime as discrete sums. The model can be visualised by considering relativistic random walks on a two-dimensional spacetime checkerboard. At each discrete timestep \epsilon the particle of mass m moves a distance \epsilon c to the left or right (c being the speed of light).
In this, Marlowe failed, instead producing a work that is, because of its failure to "discredit" the sentiments it toys with, a propagator of antisemitism. Such rhetorical attempts "underestimated the irrationality... fixation...and persistence of anti-Semitism". Another viewpoint suggests that those who claim to see antisemitism in Marlowe's work often do so more because of what they think they know about the period in which they were written rather than what the texts themselves present. The author admits that certain of Barabas' features are troublesome vis-à-vis antisemitism, such as his large and often-referenced nose, but suggests that such surface details are not important.
Sunan Dalem, (died 1545) whose real name was Sheikh Maulana Zaenal Abidin, is a Wali propagator of Islam from Gresik, East Java. He is known as the successor to the second Sultanate of Giri Kedaton since 1506, after his father Sunan Giri (Sheikh Maulana Ainul Yaqin) died. Sunan Dalem's role in the spread of Islam included the construction of a mosque with a three-story roof, which is now called the Tiban Mosque. He died in 1545, but the unique tradition of eating Chicken compote during the 23rd of Ramadan (Sanggiring) inherited from Sunan Dalem is still carried out by the local community until now.
144-145 As records of the prosecution show, the authorities were on the verge of admitting that the hieromonk had no criminal connections, and decided instead to focus on his activities as a 1930s anti-communist. They recovered Tudor's Credința columns, which, they claimed, read as "intense anti-communist propaganda, slandering and defiling the Soviet Union and eulogizing the capitalist order." According to their tendentious interpretation, Tudor had been at once "a faithful defender of the bourgeois-landowning order and a fiery propagator of the fascist ideology." The defense team was also asked to debunk the prosecution's allegations about the fascist nature of Tudor's Creationism.
The theory of constraints (TOC) is an overall management philosophy introduced by Eliyahu M. Goldratt in his 1984 book titled The Goal, that is geared to help organizations continually achieve their goals. Goldratt adapted the concept to project management with his book Critical Chain, published in 1997. An earlier propagator of a similar concept was Wolfgang Mewes in Germany with publications on power-oriented management theory (Machtorientierte Führungstheorie, 1963) and following with his Energo-Kybernetic System (EKS, 1971), later renamed Engpasskonzentrierte Strategie (Bottleneck-focused Strategy) as a more advanced theory of bottlenecks. The publications of Wolfgang Mewes are marketed through the FAZ Verlag, publishing house of the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (Frankfurt General Newspaper).
In the period before World War II Antoni Janusz was engaged in ballooning sport development in Poland. He was its propagator. He participated in most events of Polish Ballooning. In the 1930s he was classified among the leaders of world ballooning. On 25 October 1925 Antoni Janusz won the First Domestic Balloon Cup (Poland). Together with lieutenant Jan Zakrzewski they reached the distance of 142 km in time of 2 hr 47 min in balloon Poznań. Starting from 1927, Antoni Janusz began participating in international balloon cups. His first important success was the second place in 1929 Poland Cup. He started in balloon "Gdynia" reaching the distance of 354 km in time of 22 hours.
The Aten depicted in art from the throne of Tutankhamun, perhaps originally made for Akhenaten Akhenaten was considered the "high priest" or even a prophet of Aten, being the main propagator of the religion in Egypt during his reign. After the death of Akhenaten, his son, Tutankhamun, reinstated the cult of Amun and the ban on religions in competition with Atenism was lifted. The point of this transition can be seen in the name change of Tutankhaten into Tutankhamun indicating the loss of favor in the worship of Aten. The cult of Aten was still in Egypt for another ten years or so as it faded and there was no purge of the cult after Akhenaten's death.
Anders Retzius, who was Curman's teacher at the Institute, convinced him to take a position as physician at a bath resort outside Lysekil, established by an old sea captain J. G. Mollén, who had acquired some medical knowledge during his time at sea. After Mollén's death in 1863, the resort was transformed into a joint-stock company and Curman given the task of making plans for a modern resort. He personally designed the bath house and other buildings and remained as head for the resort until 1888. Curman was an influential propagator for the health effects of baths and initiated and led the construction of many bath houses, including the Sturebadet bath house at Stureplan in central Stockholm.
A Borobudur ship from the 8th century, a large native outrigger trading vessels, possibly of the Sailendra and Srivijaya thalassocracies A Siamese painting depicting the Chola raid on Kedah As conclusive evidence is missing, numerous Indianization theories of Southeast Asia have emerged since the early 20th century. The central question usually revolves around the main propagator of Indian institutional and cultural ideas in Southeast Asia. One theory of the spread of Indianization that focuses on the caste of Vaishya traders and their role for spreading Indian culture and language into Southeast Asia through trade. There were many trade incentives that brought Vaishya traders to Southeast Asia, the most important of which was gold.
Thus, light-front quantization is a natural approach to physics in intense laser fields. The use of the front-form in strong-field QED has provided answers to several long standing questions, such as the nature of the effective mass in a laser pulse, the pole structure of the background- dressed propagator, and the origins of classical radiation reaction within QED. Combined with nonperturbative approaches such as `time dependent basis light-front quantization', which is specifically targeted at time-dependent problems in field theory, the front-form promises to provide a better understanding of QED in external fields. Such investigations will also provide groundwork for understanding QCD physics in strong magnetic fields at, for example, RHIC.
A son of Honoré-Nicolas-Marie Duveyrier and half-brother of the dramatist Anne-Honoré-Joseph Duveyrier known as Mélesville, with whom Charles Duveyrier partnered several times; but he is best known as an adept and propagator of the Saint-Simonian doctrines. Duveyrier was the father of the Saint-Simonian traveller and geographer Henri Duveyrier. In addition to the publications of that school of thought, Duveyrier published several texts including l’Avenir et les Bonaparte (1864). In collaboration with Eugène Scribe, Duveyrier wrote the libretto for I vespri siciliani by Giuseppe Verdi from their work Le duc d'Albe, which was written in 1838 and offered to Halévy and Donizetti before Verdi agreed to set it to music in 1854.
In the main prayer hall ( area), the Dukhang or Lakhang, the main temple, which has colourfully painted doors and windows, depict Tibetan designs. The main statue of Padmasambahva (also known as Guru Rinpoche who revived Buddhism in Tibet and was also the propagator of Vajrayana or tantric form of Buddhism ) seen here is in his wrathful form as Dorje Bhurpa Vjarakila with multiple heads and arms. The monastery, which overlooks the Rabdantse ruins, has well manicured gardens within its compound where the residential accommodation for the monks is also located. Entrance to Pemangytse Monastery The first floor of the monastery has a notable collection of ancient Buddhist antique idols, scriptures as well as sculptures and decorated paintings.
Arab traders have had a warm longstanding relationship with the local population as well as the rulers of the western coastal belt of India from the earliest of the times, and have engaged in trade through the Arabian Sea. Tipu Sultan, the sultan of Mysore undertook the renovation task of the mosque. Consequent on the advent of Islam in the early stage, a team of Arab Muslim Traders, under the Leadership of Islamic propagator Hazarath Mohammed Malik Bin Deenar had visited Malabar and landed at Kodungallur. The then ruler, Raja Cheruman Permal being very appeased with the extremely pious, honest, disciplinary behavior of Malik Deenar and his companions made sure that the traders were provided proper accommodation, necessary facilities, and also a place to trade.
In 1929, the ensemble visited the far eastern lands of the Soviet Union, entertaining the troops working on the Far Eastern Railway. With the goal of developing amateur art within the ranks of the army and to encourage soldiers' interest in good music, the ensemble grew to 300 performers by 1933, comprising three different forces of a male choir, an orchestra, and an ensemble of dancers. Some sources say that in 1933 there were 19 members; in 1935 there were 135 and in August 1937 in Paris and Prague they were 150. The Red Army Choir became known as a propagator of Soviet songs, performing original compositions by composers such as Vasily Solovyov- Sedoy, Anatoli Novikov, Matvey Blanter and Boris Mokrousov.
Hadronic contribution to the photon propagator in the VMD model Measurements of the interaction between energetic photons and hadrons show that the interaction is much more intense than expected by the interaction of merely photons with the hadron's electric charge. Furthermore, the interaction of energetic photons with protons is similar to the interaction of photons with neutrons in spite of the fact that the electric charge structures of protons and neutrons are substantially different. According to VMD, the photon is a superposition of the pure electromagnetic photon (which interacts only with electric charges) and vector meson. Just after 1970, when more accurate data on the above processes became available, some discrepancies with the VMD predictions appeared and new extensions of the model were published.
The answer is no: while in classical mechanics the intervals along which particles and causal effects can travel are the same, this is no longer true in quantum field theory, where it is commutators that determine which operators can affect one another. So what does the spacelike part of the propagator represent? In QFT the vacuum is an active participant, and particle numbers and field values are related by an uncertainty principle; field values are uncertain even for particle number zero. There is a nonzero probability amplitude to find a significant fluctuation in the vacuum value of the field if one measures it locally (or, to be more precise, if one measures an operator obtained by averaging the field over a small region).
During the 1970s, hijab was considered by some as a sign of "virtue", and was considered by Pahlavis as a rejection of their rule, with many middle-class working women starting to use it voluntarily. It came to be some oppositional women's way of expressing the revolutionary "demand for respect and dignity", rather than a sign of backwardness. Unveiled women came to be seen by some of the opposition as victims of Westoxication, "a super-consumer" of products of Imperialism, a propagator of "corrupt Western culture", undermining the "morals of society". The revolutionary advocacy for the poor and the tradition brought chador back to popularity among the opposition, and women from different classes wore hijab for different reasons, including to protest treatment of women as sex objects.
He has traveled widely studying trees and their habitats and participated in educational exchanges with the national dendrology societies of Germany and Belgium, the TEMA Foundation of Turkey, the Kunming Institute of Botany in China, and arboreta throughout North America, Europe, and Latin America. Sternberg has served as an honorary director for Wild Ones: Natural Landscapes, lectures frequently for various colleges, trade and professional organizations, and other institutions, and is very active in the preservation of historic trees. His public service work includes helping the Illinois Capital City of Springfield as the tree consultant and propagator for a special tree nursery serving Oak Ridge Cemetery, the setting of President Abraham Lincoln's Tomb. His work there has been registered as a National Living Memorial Site by the US Forest Service.
In 2015, Politifact found that NowThis News was the propagator of a false conspiracy theory which claimed that CNN deleted a poll of Facebook users which found that most participants thought that Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton in the first Democratic Presidential Debate. NowThis News created a video titled; "It looks like CNN is trying to help Hillary look good, even if that means deleting polls", however Politifact found that CNN did not delete the poll in question and in fact displayed the results of the poll during its broadcast, and also left it up on its Facebook page. The claim was rated as "Pants on Fire" false by Politifact.Sanders, Katie. “No, Internet, CNN Did Not Delete Its Poll Showing Bernie Sanders Won the Democratic Debate.” @Politifact, 19 Oct.
More precisely, expanding about the vacuum with no vacuum expectation value for the bilinear condensate they found a tachyon. To do this they solve the renormalization group equations for the propagator of the bifermion field, using the fact that the only renormalization of the coupling constant comes from the wave function renormalization of the composite field. They then calculated, at leading order in a 1/N expansion but to all orders in the coupling constant, the dependence of the potential energy on the condensate using the effective action techniques introduced the previous year by Sidney Coleman at the Erice International Summer School of Physics. They found that this potential is minimized at a nonzero value of the condensate, indicating that this is the true value of the condensate.
He owed everything to Ramakrishna. He said— > All that I am, all that the world itself will some day be, is owing to my > Master, Shri Ramakrishna, who incarnated and experienced and taught this > wonderful unity which underlies everything, having discovered it alike in > Hinduism, in Islam, and in Christianity. He also said— > If I have told you one word of truth, it was his and his alone, and if I > have told him many things which were not true, which were not correct, which > were not beneficial to the human race, they were all mine, and on me is the > responsibility. It is said that while Ramakrishna was the spiritual fountain head of the Ramakrishna Order, his disciple was the propagator par excellent with his exuberant oratorical skills and handsome visage.
For example, Mirza Fath Ali Akhundov, the Azerbaijani best known in the West, will be referred to as Akhundzada, the form of his name that has been used for a century in publications outside of Russia.ĀḴŪNDZĀDA ĀḴŪNDZĀDA (in Soviet usage, AKHUNDOV), MĪRZĀ FATḤ-ʿALĪ (1812–78), Azerbaijani playwright and propagator of alphabet reform; also, one of the earliest and most outspoken atheists to appear in the Islamic world. According to his own autobiographical account (first published in Kaškūl, Baku, 1887, nos. 43–45, and reprinted in M. F. Akhundov, Alefbā-ye ǰadīd va maktūbāt, ed. H. Moḥammadzāda and Ḥ. Ārāslī, Baku, 1963, pp. 349–55), Āḵūndzāda was born in 1812 (other documents give 1811 and 1814) in the town of Nūḵa, in the part of Azerbaijan that was annexed by Russia in 1828.
J. R. Astron. Soc, 23, 417. This method is based on the integral transform approach, whereby the wave field (cylindrical or spherical wave) is represented by a sum (integral) of time-harmonic plane waves.Aki, K. and Richards, R.G., Quantitative Seismology, Theory and Methods, Vol. I, W. H. Freeman, 1980. Later, with the help of Chandima, the Foundation extended its service to publish texts belong to Theravada tradition. The Buddhist texts which are used by Sri Lankan Buddhists as manuals were reprinted and distributed free over the whole country, including the Visuddhimagga (The Path of Purity) in Pali and Sinhala translation, Basic Buddhism Course, A Path to True Happiness, The Love of Life, Mind: Seal of the Buddhas, The Buddhist Liturgy, and The Buddha and His Teachings of Venerable Narada Mahathera, a Buddhist scholar and propagator of Theravada Buddhism. He also republished the works of Venerable Yakkaduwe Pragnarama Mahathera, a critical writer and the Ex-Head of the Vidyalankara Buddhist Institute. In addition to the texts used in Sri Lanka, he republished a number of Buddhist texts of other Theravada Buddhist countries such as Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.
For such a discrete motion, the Feynman path integral reduces to a sum over the possible paths. Feynman demonstrated that if each "turn" (change of moving from left to right or conversely) of the space–time path is weighted by -i \epsilon mc^2/\hbar (with \hbar denoting the reduced Planck's constant), in the limit of infinitely small checkerboard squares the sum of all weighted paths yields a propagator that satisfies the one-dimensional Dirac equation. As a result, helicity (the one-dimensional equivalent of spin) is obtained from a simple cellular-automata-type rule. The checkerboard model is important because it connects aspects of spin and chirality with propagation in spacetime and is the only sum-over-path formulation in which quantum phase is discrete at the level of the paths, taking only values corresponding to the 4th roots of unity.
Michael Flurscheim, the Promoter of an improved currency system, better known as the Commercial Exchange, has devoted considerable time, and a large sum of money, to the furtherance of the project, which will prove of great advantage among the trading and commercial section of the community. Both in England and on the Continent, Mr. Flurscheim has gained a wide experience of institutions of a somewhat similar character, and in the former country he was the propagator of a means of mutual exchange, which, in its development, is sure to afford the commercial facilities its pioneer had in view. As indicated by his name, Mr. Flurscheim is a native of Germany, and was born in 1844, at Frankfort-on-the-Maine. In literary circles he has won wide renown and frank respect by the publication of several interesting and instructive works, all dealing in the main with his favorite subject—social reform.
In 2011, de Gosson and Hiley showed that when in Bohm's model a continuous observation of a trajectory is performed, the observed trajectory is identical to the classical particle trajectory. This finding puts the Bohm model in connection to the well-known quantum Zeno effect.Maurice A. de Gosson, Basil J. Hiley: Zeno paradox for Bohmian trajectories: the unfolding of the metatron, January 3, 2011 (PDF - retrieved 7 June 2011) They confirmed this finding when they showed that the quantum potential enters into the approximation for the quantum propagator only on time scales of the order of O(\Delta t^2), which means that a continuously observed particle behaves classically and furthermore that the quantum trajectory converges to a classical trajectory if the quantum potential decreases with time. Later in 2011, for the first time experimental results were published that showed paths that display the properties expected for Bohm trajectories.
Atlantic Monthly Press, New York 1998, , p. 150. \- possible because several editions of each sculpture were made. Koons promoted his works by taking out four advertisements in the major trade magazines. Each of the full-page features depicted different parts of Koons' reputed persona: #A propagator of the banal: Koons is shown alongside two pigs - published in Flash Art #A bad influence on future generations: he is in a classroom full of children, a blackboard contains the slogans "Exploit the Masses" and "Banality as Savior" - published in Artforum #A gigolo: he is standing in front of a boudoir-style tent - published in Flash Art #A ladies man: he is with a Shetland pony and several women in bikinis - published in Arts Magazine and Art in America The advertisements were the first time that Koons was featured in his own work, exploiting the reputation that the media and his critics had propagated.
The most notable Serbian linguist of the 19th century, Vuk Karadžić, was a follower of the view that all south Slavs that speak the Shtokavian dialect (of Serbo-Croatian) were Serbs, speaking the Serbian language. As this definition implied that large areas of continental Croatia, Dalmatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, including areas inhabited by Roman Catholics – Vuk Karadžić is considered by some to be the progenitor of the Greater Serbia program. More precisely, Karadžić was the shaper of modern secular Serbian national consciousness, with the goal of incorporating all indigenous Shtokavian speakers (Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, Muslim) into one, modern Serbian nation. German historian Michael Weithmann considers that Karadžić expressed dangerous ideological and political idea in scientific shape ie that all southern Slavs are Serbs while Czech historian Jan Rychlik consider that Karadžić became a propagator of greater Serbian ideology and uttered a theory according to which are all Yugoslav people talking shtokavian dialect Serbs.

Johann Ignaz von Felbiger was the son of a postmaster, who had been ennobled by Emperor Charles VI. The death of his parents constrained him, after studying theology at the University of Breslau, to accept (1744) the position of teacher in a private family. In 1746 he joined the Order of Canons Regular of St. Augustine at Sagan in Silesia (now Żagań, Poland), was ordained a priest in 1748, and ten years later became abbot of the monastery of Sagan. Noting the sad condition of the local Catholic schools, he strove to improve them by publishing his first school- ordinance in 1761. During the private journey to Berlin, in 1762, he was favourably impressed with Johann Julius Hecker's Realschule and Hähn's method of instructing by initials and tables (Literal- or Tabellen-Methode), and became an enthusiastic propagator of this method. A school-ordinance for the dependencies of the monastery of Sagan was issued in 1763, teachers' college was established, and Felbiger's school reforms soon attracted the attention of Catholics and Protestants alike.
Monastic Matrix "Ebenthal" Less than a year later after her admission, Christina fell gravely ill. This affliction would reappear up to three times a year for the next decade. Also, later, she frequently suffered from various illnesses. About this time, she began experiencing frequent religious visions, which her confessor, Friar Conrad of Füssen, O.P., encouraged her to write down. So she began writing her first book, Leben und Offenbarungen ( Life and Revelations) in 1317. She continued to work on it at least until 1324. In 1338, she began a correspondence with the secular priest Henry of Nördlingen, who was an enthusiastic propagator of mystic spirituality and literature. Through him, she started a correspondence with the Blessed Margareta Ebner, who was also a Dominican nun actively involved in the spiritual movement of the period; but Margareta was no relative of Christina's in spite of the same family name "Ebner". Around 1340, Christina started compiling the Book of Sisters (Schwesternbuch), a record of the mystical visions and life experiences of the other nuns in her monastery, called Von der genaden uberlast (Of the Burden of Grace).
At this time, he was, in Liptzin's words, "primarily a Maskil"--a propagator of the Haskalah--"interested in instructing and aiding his people". However, his life took a tragic turn: not only did his wife die of cholera in the next decade, but all of their nine children as well, and he became, again quoting Liptzin, "a prophet of doom, admonishing his co- religionists not to venture too date along the alluring road of western enlightenment and assimilation..." [Liptzin, 1972, 49] When that doom came, in the form of the anti-Semitic reaction and pogrom after the assassination of Alexander II, he became again a comforter, as well as a Zionist, affiliated with the Hovevei Zion and Bilu pioneers, writing songs such as "Die Sokhe" ("The Plough") and "Shivath Zion" ("Homecoming to Zion"). Zunser emigrated to New York City in 1889, and worked as a printer.Hapgood, Hutchins, The Spirit of the Ghetto: Studies of the Jewish Quarter in New York, 1902 - chapter 4 However, life in New York was not conducive to his muse, and he wrote little in the years after his arrival in America, mostly poems rather than songs.
