The Suzuki A80 is a 72 cc, two-stroke motorcycle manufactured by Suzuki during the 1970s. The A80 which succeeded the A70 was basically an A100 with a smaller capacity engine. The motorcycle came into the market just before the fuel crisis of 1973. It has autolub system which omitted the need for premixing of two-stroke oil with gasoline.

Suzuki began using automatic lubrication in 1966 to eliminate premixing of oil and fuel as had been the norm for all two strokes up until then. This system was launched to eliminate mixtures with far too much oil due to the operator's unnecessary effort to preclude engine seizures. The 550 had the latest version of this multipoint oil injection called Crankcase Cylinder Injection (CCI).

In November 1964 the Minica (and 360) received a fairly thorough facelift and the improved ME24 engine (LA21). Flameless thermal oxidizers are designed to operate safely and reliably below the composite LFL while maintaining a constant operating temperature. Waste gas streams experience multiple seconds of residence time at high temperatures leading to measured destruction removal efficiencies that exceed 99.9999%. Premixing all of the gases prior to treatment eliminates localized high temperatures which leads to thermal NOx typically below 2 ppmV. Flameless thermal oxidizer technology was originally developed at the U.S. Department of Energy to more efficiently convert energy in burners, process heaters, and other thermal systems.

A wettable powder is an insecticide or other pesticide formulation consisting of the active ingredient in a finely ground state combined with wetting agents and sometimes bulking agents. Wettable powders are designed to be applied as a dilute suspension through liquid spraying equipment. As wettable powders are not mixed with water until immediately before use, storing and transporting the products may be simplified as the weight and volume of the water is avoided. Wettable powders may be supplied in bulk or in measured sachets made from water-soluble film to simplify premixing and reduce operator exposure to the product.

There would need to be significant infrastructure in place before industrial scale production of lunarcrete could be possible. The casting of lunarcrete would require a pressurized environment, because attempting to cast in a vacuum would simply result in the water sublimating, and the lunarcrete failing to harden. Two solutions to this problem have been proposed: premixing the aggregate and the cement and then using a steam injection process to add the water, or the use of a pressurized concrete fabrication plant that produces pre-cast concrete blocks. Lunarcrete shares the same lack of tensile strength as terrestrial concrete.

To find a homozygous polymorphism, proceed in the same way by premixing a DNA wild population to a population of polymorphic DNA to obtain heteroduplexes after the denaturation- renaturation step. Heteroduplexes are actually double strands of DNA containing a strand from the wild-type allele and a sprig from the polymorphic allele. The formation of such DNA fragments then causes the appearance of a "mismatch" or bad pairing where the polymorphism is located.

Regardless, the ingredient is listed as being used by Beach in the book Hawaii'i, Tropical Rum Drinks & Cuisine By Don The Beachcomber and calls for its use in some of Beach's more well known drinks such as the Cobra's Fang, Q.B. Cooler, Pi Yi, and Rum Barrel. The book also discusses the extent that Beach went to in order to keep his recipes a secret, premixing ingredients himself and relabeling bottles with only numbers and letters with recipes sometimes written in code. Trader Vic listed what he called "passionola" in the index of his 1972 revised Bartender's Guide. He described it as "a non-alcoholic syrup made from passion fruit [that] comes in three colors — red, green, and natural".
