The May 2004 issue of Dragon introduced the "Athasian elan" as a playable character race for the Dark Sun campaign setting.

Soulknives are warriors who have learned to channel psionic power into "mind blades", or swords composed of psionic energy. Their broad training allows them to take many occupations and be a "jack of all trades." Soulknives are the only psionic characters who cannot manifest powers from their class; the soulknife class grants power points, but not the ability to use them. As a soulknife gains levels, the powers of her mind blade increase, such as the ability to form her mind blade into shapes other than a short sword (a concept further expanded with new feats in Complete Psionic).

The MTU engine proved the better option, both for reliability and for emissions, resulting in FGW, Brush and Angel Trains starting the HST Modernisation programme. The last power cars to be re- engineered were released in April 2008, while several other companies' HSTs have now all undergone a similar programme. GWR's High Speed Train fleet were refurbished by Bombardier in Derby and Ilford between 2006 and 2008, with leather seats introduced in first class, redesigned toilets, a redesigned buffet, and at-seat power points. The company opted for mainly airline seats, giving more seats per train.

OPs can also be converted into money to buy Equipment at a ratio of 1:100; (1 OP = 100 units of currency). The actual type of currency is dependent upon the genre being played, (for instance a fantasy medieval-era game may use gold pieces, a modern action game set in the United States would use dollars, a sci-fi future setting may use galactic credits). Certain campaigns using the Fuzion system can have Power Points (PPs), which are assigned to the players by the Referee just like CPs and OPs. PPs are optional and are used with Magic, Psionics, and Super Powers.

Players could unlock most of the things that could be bought via real money with currencies earned in game. As characters gained levels, they gained a passive stat (statistic) increase for stats that helped that particular character and gain power points, allowing the player to further define the abilities of that character. Each character had three power trees in which they could spend points. Each of the trees generally focused on a certain mechanic or play style, such as the Assault (melee), Firepower (guns), and Demolition (explosives) trees for Punisher, or the Archery (ranged), Fighting (melee), and Trick Arrows (special ranged) trees for Hawkeye.

A highly precise antenna mount is required to maintain the accuracy of the angle system. The FPS-16 antenna pedestal is a precision-machined item, engineered to close tolerances, assembled in dust-free, air-conditioned rooms to prevent warping during mechanical assembly. The pedestal is mounted on a reinforced concrete tower to provide mechanical rigidity. The electronic equipment is mounted in a two-story concrete building, which surrounds the tower to decrease tower warping due to solar radiation. The radar utilizes a parabolic antenna giving a beamwidth of 1.2 degrees at the half-power points. The range system uses 1.0, 0.5, or 0.25-microsecond wide pulses.

"Beck's Bolero" is roughly divided into three parts. The first begins with a reworking of Ravel's two-chord progression, transposed to the key of A. Power points out that by using a 12-string guitar, Page is able to take advantage of the instrument's "rich chiming quality to emulate the distinct, orchestral 'bolero' sound". Beck then introduces the melody line on electric guitar with a fuzz-tone effect producing indefinite sustain; alternating between major and minor modes, it is described as "haunting" by Power and as a "distinctive piercing, sinister tone" by critic Richie Unterberger. In the second section, the piano, bass, and drums come in and the tension builds.

Falling attendances at evening church services during the 1930s depression resulted in their being conducted in the hall, often in a less formal manner than the regular service. In February 1942 during World War II the Australian defence authorities requisitioned the hall for possible use as an emergency centre during air raids, and from these premises the Hon. Robert Menzies conducted his final campaign meeting for the 1949 Australian federal election at which he became Prime Minister of Australia. In 1982 sections of the exterior brickwork were renovated, and early in 1984 a new floor was laid, wiring and power points were renewed, plumbing was repaired and the interior was painted.

The Camp also took in supporting mothers and was equipped with child care facilities so the women could work, which was highly unusual for the time. Camp accommodation at Benalla comprised basic ex-military ‘P-type’ corrugated iron huts (initially unlined and without power-points), with separate communal cooking and washing facilities, and other facilities such as a kindergarten, school, hall, hospital, shops and a gymnasium. Coaches Denny and Liz Hill Dennis "Denny" Hill is a hall-of-fame swim coach who coached at Pioneer High School (Ann Arbor, Michigan) for 46 years (1969-2014 Men's Head Coach and 1973-2010 Women's Head Coach). During this tenure as coach, Pioneer High School won 31 Michigan High School State Swim Championships (15 for the men and 16 for the women) and 9 National Dual Meet (Power Points) Championships. The combined teams' overall dual meet record was 1011-128-2 (567-90 for the men and 444-38-2 for the women. The swim program produced 245 National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) All- American Swimmers for a total of 862 All-American awards.

In 2nd edition, all psionic items are intelligent items with PSP pools and the ability to use psionic powers. In 3rd edition, psionic items are much closer to magic items. They are generally not intelligent items, and are divided into nine categories: armor, shields, melee weapons, ranged weapons, psionic tattoos, cognizance crystals, power stones, dorjes and universal items. Armor, shields and weapons have enhancement bonuses and abilities like their magical counterparts, cognizance crystals store power points with no other power, dorjes are the psionic equivalent of wands, power stones are the psionic equivalent of scrolls, psionic tattoos are the psionic counterpart of potions and universal items are the psionic counterpart of wondrous items.

The Radar Research and Development Establishment (RRDE), who handled development of radars for the Army, began exploring the idea of a 3D radar that could measure the vertical angle of the target at the same time as its bearing and range. Their solution was to split the signal into several waveguides and feed horns that were positioned in a vertical stack. Each one had a reception pattern a few degrees wide vertically, and by careful arrangement, they could be overlapped so their half-power points were lined up. The echo of a target would be received by two of these feeds at any given time, and by comparing the relative signal strengths, the elevation angle could be determined to well under a degree.

This book adapted the psionics concept for third edition D&D;, with a new emphasis on balance and playability. The book mixed elements from previous versions of the game (such as Power Points from second edition) along with a number of innovations like linking the system closer to the new system of D&D; as well as balance changes such as removing the randomness that had characterized the original system. One of the key innovations was integrating the psionics system into the feats and class system that third edition emphasized. In the earlier editions most characters had a small chance to receive psionic powers as an extra set of abilities; a lucky character could receive powers that were equivalents of magical spells that were not available until mid-to-high levels.

While a reefer will have an integral refrigeration unit, they rely on external power, from electrical power points (“reefer points”) at a land-based site, a container ship or on quay. When being transported over the road on a trailer or over rail wagon, they can be powered from diesel powered generators ("gen sets") which attach to the container whilst on road journeys. Refrigerated containers are capable of controlling temperature ranging from -65 °C up to 40 °C.

2002–2004 Nissan Xterra With the 1999 Xterra having been developed at Nissan Design America in California, all updates for the 2002 Xterra were executed at Nissan Technical Center-North America in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The facelifted model debuted at the 2001 Chicago Auto Show prominently revised front-end styling with rounded headlights, revised instrument panel, center console, larger glove compartment, pullout rear cup holders and four interior power points, foot-operated pedal parking brake (vs. previous a dash-mounted pull-and-twist parking brake) -- and an increase of 10 horsepower for the V6 engine. The 3.3L VG33E V6 was upgraded to at 4,800 rpm and 202 lb⋅ft (274 N⋅m) at 2,800 rpm, with the supercharged VG33ER option carried over from the 2001 Nissan Frontier, producing of torque for the automatic, and of torque with 5-speed manual.

He once lost his power in a fierce battle, but recovered it sometime later, thanks to his alternate counterpart in the Iron Dimension. When he visited the Silver Dimension with his friends and accidentally caused a gigantic rock to fall down on Liu Bei, they forced Xiu to impersonate him until Liu Bei recovers from his injuries, because the two of them look exactly alike (they are alternate counterparts). Nicknames: “Big Brother Da Dong” (大東哥) by most people. “Big Brother Dong” (東哥) by Jin Bao San. “Egomaniac” (自大狂) by Ya Se. Specialty: Da Dong utilizes a weapon known as “Long Wen Ao” (龍紋鏊 / Dragon Tattooed Pan). Alternate counterparts: Da Dong has three alternate counterparts introduced throughout the Zhong Ji series: :In the Iron Dimension: Xia Tian (夏天) and his alternate personality Gui Long (鬼龍) from the second series The X-Family (终极一家).
