Tokio Hotel in 2009 In August 2008 Tokio Hotel embarked on a second tour of North America, including a performance at the Bamboozled festival in New Jersey. They returned to North America in October 2008 for a month-long tour of concerts and record-store signings. Anne McKevitt was trained as a hairstylist by John Frieda, creating hair styles for major catwalk shows, pop video shoots, TV commercials, magazine covers and fashion spreads. Within a few years, she became established in the fashion business, considered in the British media of that time as one of the top four hairstylists in the UK. In 1986, she suffered a serious car accident, which left her unable to walk for 18 months. The event was a turning point in her career, preventing her to return to the fashion world. The recovery was not complete, the effects of some spinal injuries were only ameliorated with alternative treatment provided by Linda and Paul McCartney (two of her former clients).

The final scene happens at night, in the kitchen, where Allen is lying on the floor, watching her brother dance. There is also an alternate version, where the words "weed", "THC" and "twat" are blanked, the bong is replaced by a joystick, Alfie does not smoke, and, when Allen walks in on him masturbating, there is a big "censored" sign. The video won "Best Pop Video" and "Best New Director" at the CADs Music Vision Awards in June 2007, and nominated at the 2007 Q Awards for "Best Video", but lost to "Ruby" by Kaiser Chiefs.
His one criterion for selection was how famous they were, to maximise sales of the record. Various Jonny Trunk side projects have included directing the now banned pop video, "Plug Me In", for Add N To (X). Jonny Trunk is also a regular broadcaster on London's art radio station Resonance FM. Other recent broadcasting has included the BBC Radio 4 documentary Into The Music Library. "The Ladies' Bras", a single by Jonny Trunk and Wisbey, made number 70 on the UK Singles Chart in August 2007, and re-entered at number 27 in September 2007 after a campaign by Danny Baker and BBC Radio 1's Scott Mills.
Various Jonny Trunk side projects have included directing the now- banned pop video "Plug Me In" for Add N to (X). This video was shot in Wales, and was edited as the standard pop version and a longer, more controversial Add N To XXX 45 minute version. Trunk has also held modern music and movement classes using vintage electronic recordings, issued official Tony Hart Vision On tee shirts and screenprints, ran action painting sessions to Ken Nordine's colours, and regularly finds music for advertising, film and TV. In recent years Trunk has been lecturing at art colleges throughout the UK. His talks focus on the art of creativity based on nostalgia, enthusiasm and cunning.
In 2001, Tanedo was nominated for the Academy of Country Music's Video of the Year Award for Faith Hill's "The Way You Love Me", directed by Joseph Kahn. In 2004, she was awarded a Latin Grammy for Best Music Video for Robi Rosa's “Más y Más” directed by Angela Alvarado. At the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Tanedo won two Moonman awards- one for Best Hip-Hop Video for Eminem's "We Made You" and another for Best Pop Video for Britney Spears' "Womanizer", both directed by Joseph Kahn. In 2011, Tanedo was nominated for a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video for "Love the Way You Lie" by Eminem and Rihanna, directed by Joseph Kahn.
At the 2013 MAD Video Music Awards, he was nominated for four awards: Best Pop Video, Video of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year. "Tora" was nominated for most-played radio song of the year, and as part of the awards' tenth anniversary Rouvas' 2008 live performance of "+ Se Thelo" was nominated for best live performance in the show's history. On 24 November 2013 Rouvas was among a group from the Ionian Islands who were commended by the Hellenic Union of Eptanisians (Ionians) for their work and philanthropy. To honor the winners, the organization released a collectors'-edition philatelic envelope with a stamp bearing a picture of the group.
The Legendary Ranger (, Yuan Zhen-xia) is a 1993 Hong Kong cross-genre television miniseries produced by Mui Siu-ching and aired by TVB. The series starred Leon Lai, Michelle Reis and Catherine Hung, and featured a supporting cast of veteran actors, stars, and future stars, including Faye Wong and Athena Chu. It is based on Ni Kuang's fictional surgeon/adventurer Yuan Zhen- xia and is set in the Wisely fictional universe, a setting in which extraterrestrial aliens, magic and wuxia heroes co-exist. At the time Leon Lai was at the beginning of the Four Heavenly Kings period of his career and the series' was filmed and edited, especially the fight scenes, with a pop video sensibility.

She is briefly knocked out from the fall, during which she dreams of a romance novel- type encounter with her crush against the backdrop of Peggy's Cove. As she comes to, the neighbour then helps her get up, and watches the band rehearse the track again. After turning and writing down her telephone number, Jepsen sees her neighbour pass one of her male bandmates (Tavish Crowe) his own number, indicating he is gay, where the very end shows that Jepsen is taken aback by this. The video received three nominations on the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards in the categories of UR Fave Video, Pop Video of the Year, and Video of the Year.
The band ultimately had to put up their own money to shoot the video and had to fight with the label to get reimbursed once it was successful. The video premiered outside the United States in July 1997, although viewers with MuchMusic USA were able to see it as at the time it was still mostly a simulcast of the Canadian channel. In a 2017 interview with Billboard, Kahn reflected on the impact of the music video: > I was just trying to do something fun and make the pop video I’d always > wanted to make," he says. The associated music vox pop video is composed entirely of people listening to the song on headphones and their reactions. Responses include enthusiasm, critique, and apathy; some dance, while one Ralph Walbridge, poet, gives the headphones back partway through, stating "uh... I've heard it all a million times, all the way back to all of the old records - which were much better - when they first came out, back in the 1940s." Other comments include Dr. Bruce L. The tracks "Tha 'Mai Allios", "An Isouna Agapi", "Psahno Tin Alitheia" and "Girna Me Sto Htes" were released as singles. "Tha 'Mai Allios", released a year before the album, became the singer's first advertisement for the soft drink brand Ivi's. Paparizou won the MTV Europe Award for Best Greek Act, and received a preliminary nomination for the Best European Act but finished sixth, missing the official nominations by one spot. The video for "Tha 'Mai Allios" won the MAD Video Music Award for Video of the Year and was nominated for Best Pop Video, while the video for "An Isouna Agapi" won the award for Sexiest Video and received nominations for Female Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year.
Monica Castillo of Cosmopolitan called Lopez's outfit "inexplicably sexy", while Latina magazine writer Nichole Fratangelo said she "looked angelic in white but of course, she gave it a naughty twist." Gaby Wilson of MTV News highlighted the video's influence in Selena Gomez's video for "Slow Down", stating that it was similar to Lopez "dancing solo in that clinically white/silver space". At the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards, the video received four nominations, including Best Female Video, Best Dance Video, Best Pop Video and Best New Artist in a Video. At the 1999 Billboard Music Video Awards, "If You Had My Love" was nominated for the Maximum Vision Award, Best Dance Clip, Best New Artist Dance Clip, Best Pop Clip and Best New Artist Pop Clip.
It reached a peak of number seventeen in Australia and eighteen in the UK, while charting inside top twenty in Canada, Netherlands, Ireland and New Zealand. A remix of the song by Chris Cox was included in Duff's 2005 compilation album, Most Wanted, this version was also included on her Dignity Walmart edition Remix EP as the Dance Mix in 2007, and in 2008, another remix of the song by Chico Bennett & Richard "Humpty" Vission was included in Best of Hilary Duff. The song was accompanied by a music video, directed Dave Meyers, which showed Duff inside a house on a rainy day, waiting for her love interest. The video was nominated in the category of Best Pop Video at the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards.
On August 17, 2008, it was announced that the video was nominated for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. The ceremony was held on September 7, 2008, and Spears won all three categories. On October 18, 2008, during a live interview with New York's Z100, she explained that she was shocked when she won, saying, "It's a cool video, but I think by far I've done videos that are way better, so I was really shocked that it got [Video of the Year]. The video's outfit is included in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's "Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power" exhibit and the National Museum of Women in the Arts, and was previously displayed on a statue at Walt Disney World theme park ”Michael Jackson’s Private Home Movies” michael speaks of her with obvious affection — and even puts on her music to practice dancing — he also chooses to note that she ripped off her ”Rhythm Nation” video concept from his ”Captain EO” film (she did ask permission first).
Isham, alongside Bon Jovi, was a co-winner of MTV's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award in 1991. For Isham's direction of the Spanish-language version of Ricky Martin's "She Bangs", he won a Latin Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video at the Latin Grammy Awards of 2001 in addition to "Video of the Year" at Premio Lo Nuestro 2001. At the 16th Annual Music Video Production Association Awards held on May 16, 2007, Isham was awarded The Lifetime Achievement Award at the Orpheum Theatre. At the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, Isham won numerous awards for Britney Spears's "Piece of Me" music video including the MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year, MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video, and MTV Video Music Award for Best Pop Video.
Homegrown Video was born out of the back room of a tiny mom and pop video store in San Diego, CA. The advancement of video cameras and VHS tapes allowed Greg Swaim, the store's owner, to begin filming real couples at his popular sex parties. Swaim called the videos “Homegrown Videos” and rented them at his shop. In 2007, AVN magazine listed “Homegrown Video #1”, the brand's flagship title, as one of the 50 most influential adult video titles ever released, as it was responsible for creation of the amateur pornography genre in adult video. Homegrown Video was the first company to distribute people's homemade sex tapes; Swaim solicited amateur tapes by advertising “Send in your home videos and earn up to $20 per minute” at the end of each Homegrown Video tape.
The song also won Best Balkan Song from Greece and contributed to his win as Best Greek Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010 where he was then shortlisted in the category Best European Act. For the second consecutive year, Rouvas received the Singer of the Year title at the 15th Status Men of the Year Awards, making him tied as the most honoured musician in the award's history. Linda Blair, according to a Teen Beat article published in 1980, intended on moving away from the horror genre in favor of more lighthearted pictures such as Roller Boogie, but returned to the genre the following year in another Compass International Pictures-produced movie, Hell Night (1981). Jim Bray did not appear in any other films after Roller Boogie, despite achieving something of pin-up status in teen magazines largely based on his appearance in the film. Stoney Jackson would appear in the third and final season of The White Shadow as Jesse B. Mitchell before its cancellation in 1981, and in Michael Jackson's pop video "Beat It", in 1983. He also appeared in the 1984 Diane Lane movie Streets Of Fire as the lead singer of a doo wop group.
Several presentations to launch and drive the disclosure were made, the official launch of the CD took place at Domingão do Faustão. A surprise presentation was made at the nightclub The Week to publicize his new music style in which she made a memorable cover performance of the hit Just Dance Lady Gaga leading the audience to madness after that there were several invitations to other presentations that originated the Tour Balada who toured Brazil. Wanessa made his first appearance with its own single in the BMV and competed in the categories "Best Pop Video" and "Hit of the Year" with Fly. He also participated in the event Fashion Rocks singing Fly Me Take and not evil, in the same event also presented the singers Mariah Carey, Grace Jones and Ciara.
The music video for "Busy" was uploaded onto Murs's Vevo account on 6 April 2011 and was directed by Corin Hardy, who has previously shot videos for Keane and McFly, and takes its inspiration from the independent film Lars and the Real Girl, as well as a number of other American independent films. Hardy wanted a "sweet and colourful" video to accompany the "catchy" song, and to "bend the rules" of the usual pop video. It features Murs playing an eccentric character dressed in 1970s clothing, who creates a life-size girlfriend (his "perfect girl") named Rose out of papier-mâché, then spends time with her, such as reading books, playing a guitar and going for a drive, and eventually falls in love with her. At the end of the video, Rose becomes a real person.
Commercially, I'm Not Dead peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, and reached number one in several territories including Australia, Austria, Germany, New Zealand, and Switzerland. The album received positive reviews from music critics, many of whom complimented the risks Pink took on the record as well as her experimentation with rock music. "Stupid Girls" was released as the lead single from I'm Not Dead ahead of the album's release, which generated controversy for its lyrical content and music video, for which Pink received the MTV Video Music Award for Best Pop Video and a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Five additional singles were released from the album, with "Who Knew" and "U + Ur Hand" reaching the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
For most of the year, members individually promoted their own work, including the introduction of the sub- unit GD & TOP with their collaboration album. Big Bang also won several notable awards, including the Best 5 New Artists award from the 24th Japan Gold Disc Awards as well as the Best New Artist award. Near the end of May, the group received the awards for Best Pop Video and Best New Artist from the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2010. After nearly two-year hiatus as a full group, Big Bang returned to South Korea with their 2011 Big Show concert, showcasing songs from the upcoming EP Tonight. The album had a pre-sale order of 10,000 copies in Cyworld, beating the record set by TVXQ's 6,500 copies back in 2008, and moved 100,000 units in a week.

Hatzigiannis won three awards for the song including those for the "Best pop video-clip" , the "Best video-clip of a male artist", the "Best video-clip of the year" and he won an Arion Award in 2007 for the "Best pop Song Of The Year (Ola I Tipota)". "Na Eisai Ekei" :"Na Eisai Ekei" was the second promotional song of the album which was released a little while before the album's release.
" It was also included in a list of the "Ten Best Apocalyptic Dance Music Videos" in 2011, heralded as "the gold standard for dystopian dance pop music videos" which features "some of the most memorable choreography in pop video history." The Sun Sentinel called it "dark, futuristic," and "unforgettable," adding "No one can witness the militaristic precision of Rhythm Nation, which gives the impression that a really angry pep squad has taken over the dance floor, and not see how Janet's style has been sampled, borrowed and stolen over and over ... and over." In 2013, Cosmopolitan listed it among the "10 Most Iconic Music Video Looks of the 80s", saying "How do you step out from behind the shadow of the world’s biggest pop star? You strap on some black, wear a key as an earring and dance like you’re going to war.
She was also named in nine nominations for co- producing the Lady Gaga video Bad Romance, from which the video won the Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Best Dance Music Video, Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Choreography, and Video of the Year awards. Then in 2011 Ehrlich was awarded the Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video for the video, which she co-produced with Heather Helier. At the 2011 VMAs, Ehrlich was named in four nominations, including nominations for Best Female Video, Best Choreography, and Best Art Direction for the Lady Gaga video Born this Way (winning for Best Female Video), in addition to co-producing the Best Choreography nominated video Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. She received the credit as creative producer and producer for the Lady Gaga album Born This Way: The Collection.
"Here She Comes Now" was recorded in April 1990 by Butch Vig at Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconsin. These sessions represented the band's initial attempts at recording a second album for their original label, Sub Pop, but this was abandoned after the band signed with DGC Records in late 1990, and instead recorded their breakthrough album, Nevermind, with Vig in May 1991. "Here She Comes Now" was one of several songs recorded during the Smart sessions which still saw official release in 1990 or 1991, along with "Dive" (on the 1990 "Sliver" single), "In Bloom" (as a music video, on the 1991 home video Sub Pop Video Network Program) and "Polly" (on Nevermind). "Here She Comes Now" had already been officially-released by the time the single was released, first appearing on the Communion compilation Heaven & Hell – A Tribute to The Velvet Underground earlier in 1991.

Melina Newman of HitFix thought that it looked like one of Carey's lowest-production budgets for a music video to date, but explained that it was not necessarily "a bad thing", and that Carey looked "adorable" in a nurses outfit. She likened the use of a red and white color scheme for the video to a Target commercial. Anna Pickard commented that Carey and Minaj looked "grumpier" than what dolls usually do because "their men are low-down dirty dogs who should henceforth get up out of Mimi and Nicki's faces". She compared the use of a red and white palette to Kylie Minogue's music video for "Can't Get You Out of My Head", Cheryl Cole's "Fight for This Love" and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance", and that it appeared to be a "go-to device for directors who want their pop video to pop visually, without the need for too much pesky plot to worry about".
On 25 February 2011, McFadden released a new single "Just the Way You Are (Drunk at the Bar)." The song was criticised by some as a glorification of date rape,Clem Bastow, Some Days I Love My Job More Than Others Inpress Magazine, 2 March 2011 as a result of which he cancelled the shooting of a proposed pop video for the song, asked that the song not be played on the radio and pledged via his Twitter account to donate all proceeds from the song to rape victims. "Just the Way You Are (Drunk at the Bar)" debuted on the ARIA Singles Chart at number sixty-one on 8 March 2011, and peaked at number forty-nine the next week.
