The Unitarian Christian Association, as its name suggests, exists primarily to preserve and celebrate Unitarian Christianity. Born in 1844 into a poor family in Melaka, Gan came to Singapore at a young age to seek his fortune. Since he was unable to have much of an education in his youth, it was his ambition in life to build a school and help those who are poor as he prospered and became wealthy. The role of distance learning is highlighted within CeDEP not only as a mode of teaching in the subject areas of climate change and sustainable development, but also as a tool for development keeping in mind that CeDEP's research interests are best addressed and tackled by researchers and students placed in the physical field of their studies in various regions around the world.

The coaching staff includes Brad Gauld, Paul Ranger, and Matt Reed. Hodgins took the role leaving the Cobourg Cougars (OJHL Junior A) mid-season 2015–16 to take over the reins former Head Coach Craig Fisher formerly resigned due to medical concerns. Craig Fisher, whose hiring was announced two weeks before the start of the 13-14 OUA playoffs, was the result of the university's search for new direction after the disappointment of recent seasons; placing emphasis on improving academics, and team culture. In Curtis Hodgins' inaugural year (2015–16) with the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks the team set the new season high in wins and points, earned the team's first ever playoff round victory, and received the team's first ever vote for the CIS Top 10 ranking.

Phase Zero is an unreleased action-shooter video game that was in development by Hyper Image Productions and originally planned to be published by Atari Corporation on a scheduled September 1995 release date exclusively for the Atari Jaguar. It was the only game in development by Hyper Image. Assuming the role of a newcomer pilot from the titular squadron assigned to fight against an rival organization only known as The Collective in a foreign planet, players take control of a windowless VTV hovertank craft called Hunter in order to complete a series of missions and tasks, while battling against enemy VTV hovertanks. Hyper Image was originally working on a top-down shooter for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, before the team later moved to the Jaguar with Phase Zero and opted to use their own interpretation of the heightmap technique to render the landscapes and visuals, in addition of also placing emphasis on LAN play for multiplayer.

Throughout her career, she has directed many different projects of archeological investigation on the coast, the highlands and the rain forests of Peru, placing emphasis on the study of the development of the complex socio-political organizations. She was director of the Museo Nacional de Arqueología y Antropología del Perú (National Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology of Peru), and director of the Museum of Archeology and Anthropology of National University of San Marcos. She has worked at the Caral site from 1994 onwards and is credited with the discovery of the first known civilization of Peru; Shady has named the civilization after Caral, while the term Norte Chico has been adopted in English. In 2001, Shady and others published radiocarbon dates from the site of Caral in the Supe Valley of Peru, indicating that monumental corporate architecture, urban settlement, and irrigation agriculture began in the Americas by 4090 years before the present (2627 calibrated years B.C.) to 3640 years before the present (1977 calibrated years B.C.).

A critic from The Bristol Post wrote that Lewis "dazzled" the audience who "[enjoyed] Leona's impressive vocals and stunning songs", placing emphasis on her rendition of "Time After Time". In a review of Lewis' performance at the London Palladium on 5 March, William J Connolly of Gay Times praised the singer's openness regarding her personal and private life throughout the show, which gave the audience an insight as to "why she's remained quiet in previous months and why, as we all love, each album is full of emotion and honesty". He singled out "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face", "Bleeding Love", and "Thunder" as the show's highlights, and described "Run" as "perfect". Emma Noye of the Ipswich Star wrote that despite there being some Americanisms in the show, such as "horse-riding, beach-walking backing visuals with a voiceover talking about the 'journey' she's been on", Lewis' voice was "indisputably fantastic".

Carter continues to toy with Gothic fiction and gender, in a way that utilizes classic Gothic symbolism to push the narrative forward. She writes of Gothic fiction, that "characters and events are exaggerated beyond reality, to become symbols, ideas, and passions," all of which work towards the singular purpose of creating an uneasy atmosphere. In "The Bloody Chamber," she extrapolates on the importance of symbolism, by placing emphasis on images such as the ominous Gothic castle, the blood on the key, or a blood-red choker awarded the heroine as a wedding gift. As in the Gothic tradition, these artefacts foreshadow the story to come, and the fate of the heroine as she spills blood on the bed sheets after consummating her marriage, the blood of her husband's previous wives as she learns his dark secret, and the blood that is meant to be spilt from her neck, once The Marquis vows to chop her head off.

This work completed in 2016 by Baciagalupo details the experience she had living with and studying the Mapuche people under the guidance of Francisca Kolipi. The primary objective of this book is to demonstrate the resiliency the Mapuche communities and machi had against the multiple forces of colonialism and dictatorships via the fluidity and spiritual guidance of the sages. By connecting themselves to the forces of nature around them, as shown by the machi, the Mapuche have been able to both preserve their ways of life and to empower both male and female members, with the guidance of women often being the predominant factor whilst placing emphasis on the concepts of mobility in both the spiritual and physical worlds. Bacigalupo primarily attempts to show how their worldview and interactions with nature and environment helped to both sustain and refine the resiliency of the Mapuche via the gender fluidity and spiritual experiences seen within Chile.
