A restaurant and Indian gift shop were opened, and Miller cleaned out the death cave, selling any Apache skulls found inside as souvenirs. For a fee, visitors were led on a tour which began at a Hopi house Miller had built, where rolls of colored piki bread was made and sold. They then followed a paved path down the side of the canyon to a soft drink stand at the bottom.

Between the newer housing developments and the Bay is a paved path called Shoreline Park, which is a scenic place to take a walk or a bike ride. Along with a bike path owned by the Spinnaker Point Homeowner's Association (which forms the West side of the square), Shoreline Park forms a square 0.25 miles (400 m) long and 0.25 miles (400 m) wide. The easiest way to visit Shoreline Park is to visit Pickleweed Park, then to walk east along the north side of the square. Pickleweed Park is home to a large community center and to soccer fields and a playground.

The trail features a paved path, lighting, and fences. The city attempted to clear the encampment twice a year during the mayoral term of Greg Nickels (January 1, 2002 – January 1, 2010), but such sweeps were less frequent during Michael McGinn's term even though homelessness became more prevalent throughout the city. In 2009, Israeli researchers used molecular genetics to confirm the identity of the species in northern Israel, where it was found growing in gravelly disturbed soil near a newly paved path at the edge of a grove. This was the first documented appearance of the fungus outside the American continent. Unlike North American populations that typically fruit for only a few weeks in spring, the Israeli populations have a long-season ecotype, fruiting from early November to late May (winter and spring). This period corresponds to the rainy season in Israel (October to May), with low to moderate temperatures ranging from during the day and at night.

Iudica shared the interpretation of Houel, considering the sculptures to be funerary monuments.

Swimmers enjoying the calm pools at Lydgate Beach Park located along the Royal Coconut Coast of Kauai, Hawaii. The first major beach found along the Royal Coconut Coast is Lydgate Beach Park, it is extremely popular for families and is located just south of the Wailua River. It has a large double-sectioned salt water pool, created by a lava rock wall in the ocean. The smaller pool is frequented by families with toddlers and small children, and the larger pool is ideal for swimming and snorkeling Young children are drawn to Kamalani playground, an extravagant playground with two different sections located nearby, connected by a paved path.

A paved path on the west bank connects the junction of Forbidden Drive and Lincoln Drive south to Ridge Avenue at the confluence of the Wissahickon and Schuylkill River. This path is a popular access point for cyclists coming off the River Drive bike paths to Center City Philadelphia, or for pedestrians departing the Manayunk/Norristown Line transit route at Wissahickon Station or Bus Interchange. Forbidden Drive is also accessible at its midpoint at the Valley Green Inn. Valley Green Road can be reached from Springfield Avenue in Chestnut Hill, two blocks west of St. Martin's Lane and the St. Martin's railroad station on the Chestnut Hill West Line.

A public park is located in southern Red Hook. It contains a paved path, benches, a flagpole with a yardarm, a drinking fountain, handball courts, softball fields, a soccer and football field, a track and field, picnic tables, the adjacent Sol Goldman Pool, and new trees and plantings. The park is maintained and operated by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, and is bordered by Otsego, Bay, Hicks, Lorraine, Court, and Halleck Streets. The park is in the vicinity, if not the exact location, of where the celebrated Civil War era baseball team Excelsior of Brooklyn played many of their home games.

Lugu Lake is snowbound for three months a year; in the autumn and spring, it has a cool and dry climate with warm daytime temperatures. Its waters exhibit transparency to a depth of and the lake itself has four prominent peninsulas and five islands. The five islands are: Heiwawu Island in the centre of the lake is inhabited by a variety of birds, Liwubi Island, Lige Island, Nixi Island (the smallest island, which is an oblong-shaped rock covered with shrubs and moss), and Lama Island. Three peninsulas and an island are linked to a seawall on the shore by a stone-paved path.

Cedar Lake Trail is a , shared-use path in the U.S. state of Minnesota, from downtown Minneapolis to the neighboring suburb of St. Louis Park. The trail begins at its eastern trailhead in downtown Minneapolis and continues west to Minnesota State Highway 100 in St. Louis Park At the trail's west end, a paved path continues for another through St. Louis Park to Hopkins under the former name of Hutchinson Spur Trail ("Hutch Spur"), but known as North Cedar Lake Regional Trail since 2009. In 2019, large portions of the Cedar Lake Trail were closed due to construction of the Southwest LRT extension with expected reopening in 2021 or 2022.

Some scholars believe that the castle to have originated from a square tower situated on the north side at the inner courtyard which controlled the northern part of the Colle Ripa. An outdoor courtyard to the east consisted of mill, oil mill and warehouses. Access to the castle is possible via two roads that end in the outdoor courtyard. The oldest road is the one located at the old factories and warehouses, road today no longer viable, the other road, the paved path issue and reached from the south through a drawbridge that serves a cobbled stairway which leads on a plane with a scene.

The Sunset Park Greenway's north/east-bound route begins as a separate bicycle/pedestrian path at the northwestern terminus of the Shore Parkway Greenway at the 69th Street pier at Bay Ridge Avenue and Shore Road in Bay Ridge. The curved, terraced path, runs north for one block along the western edge of Shore Road to 68th Street where it crosses Shore Road and enters Owl's Head Park. Through Owl's Head, the greenway follows a paved path along the park's outer perimeter exiting onto a bike lane on Wakeman Place at Colonial Road. A Brooklyn Watefront Greenway is planned to connect Owl's Head to Downtown Brooklyn and Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Also seen in the western, southern and northern parts of the chaitya-griha are remnants of a number of stupas in three groups, built in stone with only their plain plinths seen in a preserved state. An important discovery in the precincts of the chaitya-griha, is of statues of Avalokiteswara, Tathāgata, Bhikruti-Tara and Chunda embedded in niches, marking the four cardinal points. Other findings are of 14 stupas (built in brick with mud mortar) dated between the 1st and 12th centuries, and also many 5th- to 13th-century epigraphs. Votive stupas, made of stone, are also seen along a stone paved path.

Near Central Nyack, the interchange with the New York State Thruway was originally a traditional partial cloverleaf interchange with no connection to any other roads. It was redesigned in the 1990s to accommodate the addition of Palisades Center, which was built where the formerly proposed Northern Extension of the New Jersey Turnpike would have ended at a junction with the Thruway. The "Blauvelt Bypass," a quarter-mile paved path for bicyclists and pedestrians, was completed in July 2019 to connect two segments of Greenbush Road along NY 303 in Blauvelt. The bicycle path was built to limit accidents on NY 303, which has no shoulder at its intersections with Greenbush Road.

The Henry Hudson Trail accessible from Highlands, NJ., which stretches nine miles (14 km) from Aberdeen to Atlantic Highlands and is wheelchair accessible. The northern tip of Sandy Hook is the traditional finish of the 16.1 mile Ederle, now Ederle-Burke, Swim, which runs from the Battery at the tip of Manhattan Island through the Narrows and into Lower New York Bay. The first successful swim occurred in 1913, when New York lifeguard Alfred Brown came ashore in 13 hours, 38 minutes.

According to reporting by the Phoenix New Times, Mill Avenue contains what appears to be a brick-paved path in the median between the northbound and southbound lanes; however, posted signs prohibit pedestrians from crossing in that location. When the second of the Mill Avenue bridges over the town lake was added in 1994 for northbound traffic, the X-shaped crossover in the median was installed to accommodate the potential closing of one of the two road bridges. The purpose of this brick-paved structure is purely to divert cars from one side to the other if a bridge is closed to traffic, and although it may look like a crosswalk for pedestrians, it is in fact a temporary roadway with vertical curbs and warning signs.

Dequindre Cut Greenway is a non- motorized trail extending from the Detroit River northward, with the future potential to connect to the Ferndale-Birmingham greenway in Oakland County. The mile (1.6 km) long trail primarily connects the Lafayette Park neighborhood and Eastern Market to the Riverwalk. The greenway utilizes half of the corridor, with a wide paved path with separate lanes for biking and walking. Construction of phase I of the Dequindre Cut Greenway, extending from the River one mile (1.6 km) north to Gratiot Avenue, is complete. Funded by MDOT’s Transportation Enhancement Program and the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan, this portion of the greenway sets the template for future phases and includes a bituminous path; access ramps for bicyclists, pedestrians and emergency vehicles; landscaping; lighting; signage and security cameras.

Following the sale of the Arbutus rail land to the City in 2016, there was criticism from citizens and disagreements on how to proceed with the Arbutus Corridor re-design and use it as a green transportation pathway. The City had started paving a temporary asphalt path in the summer of 2016 in the hopes of encouraging the public to use the corridor more often, in preparation for public consultations that were launched in January 2017. However, some citizens raised concerns over the temporary asphalt, citing issues related to rain run-off and the potential of increased collisions and accidents between pedestrians and cyclists sharing the paved path. As of April 2017, the paved pathway's painted lines that separate pedestrians and cyclists seem to create a 2/3 bicycle to 1/3 pedestrian split of the available pathway space.

The park features 86.09 acres of wooded land, cliffs and Flat Lick creek running through the middle of the park with a 28-foot water fall emptying into a large pool at the bottom of the falls. The creek flows into the Laurel Fork Creek. The falls can be viewed up close via the meandering paths along the cliff line including a paved path leading to a wheelchair accessible viewing platform. Flat Lick FallsSheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail is over 300 miles of National Recreation Trail, established in 1979, in the Appalachian region of the Eastern U.S., and reaches from northern Rowan County, Kentucky to the Leather Wood Trail Head in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area just across the Tennessee border. The Trail runs mostly through the Daniel Boone National Forest, and is named for the Shawnee word for “Big Turtle”, which was the name given to Daniel Boone in 1779 when he was adopted as the son of the great warrior chief Blackfish.
