Equally wounded, tears begin to form in the eye of the main character, and he abruptly leaves the cafe without saying goodbye, when his friend or past love goes back in to make another order. Later in the evening, he is approached by a man in an orange jacket. They seem to be acquainted through the internet and their communications escalate towards a sexual nature.

After consecutively releasing ballad songs, BTOB was revealed to release a dance title track after 2 years and 2 months since "You're so Fly" in 2014. On November 7, BTOB released their ninth EP New Men with the title track, "I'll Be Your Man" (기도). "I'll Be Your Man" is described as an emotional dance track with trap elements that talks about not being able to forget a past love and praying to be with her again. "Homecoming" is where West finds himself rapping about growing up in Chicago from the perspective of a local youth returning to his old neighborhood, recalling memories of old friends and a past love interest. After a failed attempt, Guillermo and his boss kidnap her 5-year-old son and force her to work as a nurse taking care of Marco Aurelio at his family house so that she can kill him if she wanted to see her son again. She comes face to face with Alberto, Marco Aurelio's son, who was her past love when she was a teenager working at his family's country house.

"Better" is a stripped-down country song about a recent breakup where McCurdy reminisces their time together by seeing his things in the corner of her room and looking at old pictures. The fifth track, "Heart of a Child", is a ballad where McCurdy wishes she was an innocent child again, feeling time is slipping away and that she wants to take every chance given in the past. "Love is on the Way" features a prominent banjo where McCurdy assures to not give up and to trust love. The seventh track, "Stronger", is about McCurdy's mother and her battle with cancer.

28 Carte asked the popular lyricist Adrian Ross to rewrite the piece with as much emphasis on comedy as possible. Bubulcus pretends to have slain Antonio in a duel; he is arrested for this, since Antonio has disappeared (at least to the other characters, who cannot penetrate his disguise) and is believed dead. Meanwhile, in the forest, the disguised Selina is living with a household of shepherds -- which includes her long-lost sister Felice, who likewise ran away to escape an unwanted marriage. In the present, he is reunited with Loleus, Sirix's male best friend who reincarnated as a girl named Mii Serizawa, and with Serena, who has reincarnated as a male middle school student named Yuuma Ujoh. Keidai has to deal with the feelings he has for Mii and his past love for Serena. As the series progresses, Keidai meets other people who retain memories of Pompeii and discovers that Sirix's guilt in failing to save his friends is the reason why he retains his memories. When Keidai falls into a coma, he is able to relive the last moments of Pompeii where his actions put Sirix's suffering to rest, allowing him to move on with his life and confess his love to Mii.

The track was sampled a fourth time in 2007 by Scarface for his single "Girl You Know" featuring Trey Songz & Young Jeezy sampled "Let's Talk It Over" for his single "I Do" featuring Jay-Z and Andre 3000. His song "Half Past Love" was also sampled by The Coup for their 2006 single "My Favorite Mutiny" featuring Black Thought of The Roots and Talib Kweli of Black Star. Since that time, Williams has continued his solo career, touring the US, Europe and South Africa, and has also expanded his career to include acting, starring in several stage plays, including Love on Lay Away starring Deborah Cox, Mel Jackson and Martha Wash, What Men Don't Tell starring Kenny Lattimore, Chante Moore, and Dottie Peoples, and When A Woman's Fed Up. He is also one of the featured artists on Urbanland Music's DVD The Big Show, recorded at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 29, 2002.

The singer's work is inspired by experiences he has gone through including the different phases of love he has experienced; his EP Liminal Sketches was about losing love and his EP Home is about being betrayed by love. In Liminal Sketches, the singer worked with Illa N, Spoek Mathambo, and Bongeziwe Mabandla and all the tracks are about a past love who died a few years ago; the EP was a way for the singer to speak to the late loved one and a way of finding himself after the loss and reassuring himself that there is always light after the tunnel. The singer recorded the EP Home after going through a horrible break-up which the singer used as inspiration for Sunday Blues and Home; the singer describes that he went through a lot because of the relationship and his latest single Mvula is a continuation of the heartbreak as it talks about letting go of love that has caused so much pain. The singer worked with Redbull Studios on the EP Home and is now working with Black Coffee's label Soulistic Music on his upcoming album.
