"Sledgehammer" was partially inspired by the music of Otis Redding, and Gabriel sought out Wayne Jackson, whom Gabriel had seen on tour with Redding in the 1960s, to record horns for the track.

Carline struggled to see herself, and have others see her, as a serious artist: when she was studying with her brothers she thought she just needed some space in a hall, while her brothers had their own rooms in the studio building. When she was married she shared a small room with her youngest daughter, Unity, and her things were cramped and hard to get to. She said: "I cannot even have my paintbox about – it has to be packed away." Carline shared some space at times with her husband but did not have the time or space to paint seriously.

Apparently the memorial plaque with the "Moon rocks" had been packed away with Clinton's gubernatorial papers and was forgotten about for some 30 years.

The request was denied as all the spare rounds were packed away before the Parachute Regiment left the area to return to the UK in seven days time. This left his two patrols (Alpha and Bravo) with only 13 baton rounds.

Frog Baby Fountain is a statue set in the middle of a fountain on the Ball State University campus. It is known as a sign of good luck and is a popular meeting place. The Frog Baby statue was cast by Edith Barretto Stevens Parsons in 1937 and has been moved several times prior to becoming what it is known as today. Frank C. Ball donated the statue to the university and it remained in the Ball State University Museum of Art until it became damaged by excessive rubbing by students, and was then packed away.

Work has been going on to carefully remove the coffins and the storage jars to KV10, which has adequate space for a conservation team to conduct a thorough examination and analysis of the coffins and jars in a proper, scientific manner. A pulley system was devised to facilitate the safe removal of the coffins and jars from the shaft. Grass buckets and bubblewrap were used to lift the jars out from the place where they were packed away for 3000 years. The removal of jars began on 2 March 2006 and most jars have been relocated safely along with one large sealed alabaster jar, which contained small pots packed in mud.

Most of the UK's country houses were put to institutional use during World War II. Some of those used as barracks were badly damaged, but the 10th Duke, anticipating that schoolgirls would make better tenants than soldiers, arranged for Chatsworth to be occupied by Penrhos College, a girls' public school in Colwyn Bay, Wales. The contents of the house were packed away in 11 days and, in September 1939, 300 girls and their teachers moved in for a six- year stay. The whole of the house was used, including the state rooms, which were turned into dormitories.

Later Dr. Seward telegraphs to his former mentor, Dr. Van Helsing in Amsterdam, to come to England and examine Seward’s fiancée Lucy Westenra. Van Helsing arrives, finds two marks on Lucy’s throat and tells Seward she is in great danger.

In 1952, the launch of Cinerama was a public sensation and suggested a way to bring studios back from the financial brink, but the triple 35mm camera systems used for this widescreen presentation were heavy, bulky, and difficult to use. Installing Cinerama in a theater was no simple matter either, as the system required three projectors, each in its own projection booth, as well as an elaborate 7-channel sound system and a special large, deeply curved screen.Reid, p. 5. MGM, in common with other studios, regarded Cinerama as being too difficult and expensive for regular movie theaters and therefore began working on a widescreen format that would work with existing theater equipment. They seemingly had forgotten or overlooked that they still had their 1930 widescreen Grandeur 70mm cameras packed away in storage.

On the outbreak of the Greek-Italian war in 1940, Karouzou and her husband (along with other archaeologists, museum guards, and their families) packed away the museum's collections for safety during World War II. Femø is west of Falster, south of Zealand, north of Askø and Lolland & east of Fejø. Each summer more than 250 women visit Kvindelejren (Danish for "the women's camp") lasts about 8–9 weeks every summer, starting with the "building-up-the-camp-week" where all the main tents are erected; the kitchen-, bar-, children's-, toilet- and the four sleeping-tents. During the summer all weeks have different themes, including a children's week, a sports week, a body & soul week, one or two international weeks, a crealternative week, a debateweek, and the final week where the tents and the entire camp are taken down and packed away for the winter.

William Makepeace Thackeray's Vanity Fair (1848) mentions the Pantechnicon as a storage service: :The house was dismantled; the rich furniture and effects, the awful chandeliers and dreary blank mirrors packed away and hidden, the rich rosewood drawing-room suite was muffled in straw, the carpets were rolled up and corded, the small select library of well-bound books was stowed into two wine-chests, and the whole paraphernalia rolled away in several enormous vans to the Pantechnicon, where they were to lie until Georgy's majority. An adventure with a runaway pantechnicon is one of the episodes in the Arnold Bennett novel, The Card (1911). M.R. James mentions the fire that partially destroyed the Pantechnicon in his ghost story "Count Magnus," as having probably destroyed some of his main character's papers.

Following his previous adventure, Timmy Turner is assigned a summer job in Fairy World's Yuck Factory by head fairy, Jorgen Von Strangle, who believes that as he is grown up, he should work for a living due to him being grown up, something his own fairies agree upon. Timmy, despite not being happy he will not be able to enjoy a summer vacation, chooses to do so in order to impress Tootie, who now works for the Help Creatures Dimmsdale Research Center. Returning to Dimmsdale from his latest day of work, Timmy visits Tootie at the Center and discovers, much to his disappointment, that the head of the Center wishes her to deliver a special gas cure for rare spotted dolphins to Hawaii, which will be contained in a vial in the same size and shape as Timmy's lip balm. In mix-up and totally unaware of it, Timmy sets his lip balm down by the gas cure, which is inadvertently packed away into a travel case by mistake while he takes the cure's vial.
