In August 2008 after Stupefied had repackaged himself as Player Dos, the Super Smash Bros. began a winning streak which would peak on September 21, 2008, during Chikara's debut in the Midwest, when the Super Smash Bros. ended the record-breaking reign of Incoherence (Delirious and Hallowicked), becoming the 4th Chikara Campeones de Parejas. However, their reign came to an abrupt end on October 19, 2008, at the hands of the Osirian Portal (Amasis and Ophidian) in only their first defense.
Following a short, one-sided match, Del Rey pinned Hammermeier with the Royal Butterfly for the win. After a video package, which hyped the upcoming debut of "Mr. Touchdown", The Osirian Portal of Amasis and Ophidian made their way to the ring for Amasis' announcement regarding his future in professional wrestling. Amasis' announcement was that he could not wrestle again as his doctor had told him that by wrestling he would risk having to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.

Frustrated, Hal reveals that he has come to Larfleeze to find out how he was able to trap the orange entity in his lantern, so that they can trap the other entities to keep them out of the hands of the one trying to collect them. Before Larfleeze can tell him, Hector Hammond arrives. After struggling with Larfleeze and Hal for the battery, Hammond ends up swallowing it. This frees Ophidian and the entity of avarice takes Hammond as its host.

Amebiasis has been observed in saurian, ophidian, and chelonian reptiles and is shown to result in a mortality rate of approximately 100%. Several scientists have noted that reptiles native to lower temperature climates tend to be carriers of the parasite, while those species who live in warmer temperatures usually develop pathogenic cases. It has also been found that snakes and lizards have the highest mortality rates in contrast to turtles and crocodiles who tend to be asymptomatic carriers. Symptoms typically include dehydration, anorexia, lethargy, and bloody stools.
Consequently, the band found that the European market was more aligned to their musical style and they toured abroad extensively. Distancing themselves from Britain and shunning UK dates meant that the regular indie labels were largely uninterested. However, Midnight Music, who had been the home of early SL&G;, signed the band. A new album was already recorded, but this did not surface for some years, eventually appearing on the small Ophidian label, an offshoot of Rotator Records, thanks to a friend of Garel-Funk.

In April 2016, he entered a storyline, where Hallowicked and Frightmare used the Eye of Tyr to turn him to their side. UltraMantis himself then took control of Icarus, Kodama and Obariyon's minds to add them to the new group. On December 3, after the heXed Men had been defeated in the 2016 torneo cibernetico, Ophidian stole the Eye of Tyr from UltraMantis Black, releasing him from under its spell. Green Lantern #54 (July 2010) After battling an Ophidian-possessed Hector Hammond, Hal and Larfleeze traveled to Las Vegas, where Carol Ferris was already hunting the love entity. There the Predator possessed a man named Abraham Pointe, who was obsessed with a woman named Lisa. After attempting to have its host meet the target of his affection, the Predator became corrupted by the man's infatuation with the woman, as Abraham did not know what true love was. Discovered by Carol, Hal, and Larfleeze, the four battled within a casino as the Predator-possessed Abraham attempted to reach Lisa.
As a result, he had the Butcher, Ophidian, Ion, Adara, Proselyte, and the Predator inhabit the six Guardians as hosts and placed Parallax back within the Green Central Power Battery to subjugate the Green Lantern Corps under his control. The Guardians are freed from Krona's emotional control by Hal Jordan, who kills Krona using his ultimate power. The rings from the other corps return to their former wielders. The following day, Obariyon defeated Mike Sydal in a non-tournament singles match.
The championship match took place on April 25, but Jigsaw and Quackenbush were unable to defeat the reigning champions The Osirian Portal (Amasis and Ophidian). With Quackenbush out with a knee injury, he positioned Jigsaw as the mentor for the stable of younger wrestlers, called The Future Is Now, which consisted of Equinox, Helios and Lince Dorado. During the rest of the year, he also feuded with Gran Akuma, whom he would defeat in the main event on November 21. It is not entirely clear how Arcane constructed his Un- Men, but several of them are made of stitched-together body parts, like Frankenstein's monster. The resulting creatures sport all manner and class of bodily aberrations: multiple heads, extra limbs, and even partial animal anatomies. The two most distinctive Un-Men were Ophidian, a talking snake-like creature with 10 pairs of legs and hypnotic powers, and Cranius, Arcane's majordomo and the leader of the Un-Men. Described as "the living brain", Cranius is an oversized brain with a human face that is grafted onto a large human hand.
The first track "Do You Call My Name" was featured during the introduction and before commercial breaks during the 2006 NFL Draft on ESPN, as well as video games MX Unleashed and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003. The second track "Rectifier" was featured on the game Project Gotham Racing 2. Ra was featured as Artist of the Month on antimusic.com.

Hammond in his mutated state exhibits genius level intellect, as well as potent telepathic and telekinetic abilities including mind reading, mind control, astral projection, levitation, projecting harmful psionic blasts, moving physical objects with his mind, and on occasion displays the ability to absorb and mentally redirect Green Lantern's emerald plasma. In some incarnations, his body has atrophied to the point where he cannot walk and he has to strap his head to a chair to support its weight. As the host of Ophidian, he has access to the powers of an Orange Lantern, without needing an orange power ring to access them.
The mineralization of the water in the Aydar Lake averages only 2 grams per liter (2,000 ppm). Many sorts of fish including the Sazan (Cyprinus carpio), Pike perch (Stizostedion lucioperca), Bream (Abramis brama), Cat-fish (Silurus glanis), Asp (Aspius aspius), Chehon (Pelecus cultratus), Ophidian fish (Channa argus) were introduced to the lake, which nowadays works as a source of industrial fishing. The lake system provides between 760 and 2,000 tonnes of fish annually (according to statistical data between 1994 and 2001). In addition to fauna common in the Kyzyl Kum, there are many kinds of water birds migrating from the Aral Sea that make their homes around the lake.
Before his start in the 2015 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile, it was announced that Spendthrift Farm had acquired Wicked Strong's breeding rights, and that he would retire at the end of the year to assume stallion duties at the farm beginning in 2016. Wicked Strong was bred to 190 mares in his first book, second only to American Pharoah among first year stallions. His first foal, a colt out of mare Circle My Name (by Ophidian), was born on New Year's Day. Wicked Strong's 2017 stud fee was set at $10,000, but has dropped to $6,000 for 2020 due to low quality foals in 2018 and 2019.
The Flow is the momentum-based system that replaces turns in Ophidian, and allows both players to be active at one time, one "with the Flow" and the other without it. All actions are either positive (denoted by a plus), or negative (denoted by a minus). Players can play only when they have the Flow, and whilst positive actions allow one to keep the Flow and play additional actions, a negative Flow action gives Flow to the opponent. It is also possible to expend cheer to change an opponent's positive action into a negative action, and thus force a change in control of the Flow.
Once there Larfleeze seems to forget entirely about Ophidian and his lost lantern (which appears to have had no effect on his ability to spawn orange lanterns) and instead revels in the rich culture of Las Vegas. He is stopped by the Predator, who forces him to experience the sadness of his empty heart, briefly causing him to think of his family. He is later taken to Zamaron by the Star Sapphires along with Hal, Carol, The Predator, and Abraham Pointe (the man possessed by the Predator). Larfleeze is present when Carol is named the new Queen of the Star Sapphires, and states that he wants to be queen.
Delirious later explained that his failure to stop the Spectral Envoy was karmic justice caused by his past sins, but now it was time for UltraMantis to face the same justice. The rivalry between the two groups continued on November 10, when Ophidian and The Batiri cost UltraMantis and Hallowicked their match with The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) for the Campeonatos de Parejas. Six days later, Chikara announced the "War to Settle the Score" between the two groups. Originally it was announced that for the match, the Spectral Envoy would be represented by UltraMantis Black, Frightmare, Hallowicked and two unnamed members to be revealed later.
It is possible that Wagner was thinking of the historical Redbad, although he died more than 150 years before the birth of Henry the Fowler, another character in the opera, who could not, therefore, be contemporary of Redbad's daughter. In Harry Harrison's The Hammer and the Cross series of novels, Redbad becomes the founder of "the Way", an organized pagan cult, created to combat the efforts of Christian missionaries. Black metal band Ophidian Forest recorded a concept album Redbad in 2007. Dutch folk metal band 'Heidevolk' recorded a song 'Koning Radboud' (King Redbad) on their 2008 album 'Walhalla Wacht' singing about the legend of Wulfram and Redbad.
The next day, during a fan conclave, Chikara held a contest to see who could bodyslam the 375 lb (170 kg) BDK member Tursas. Green Ant entered the contest, again copying the storyline that the WWF did with Luger and Yokozuna in 1993, but before he could complete the slam, he was tripped by BDK member Jakob Hammermeier. The next day, The Colony defeated the BDK trio of Tim Donst, Delirious and Hammermeier, after Green Ant bodyslammed Tursas, and then submitted Hammermeier with Luger’s trademark finisher, the Torture Rack, to reach the semifinals. The following day, The Colony defeated The Osirian Portal (Amasis, Hieracon and Ophidian) to advance to the finals for the second time in a row.
For the 2010 King of Trios Frightmare and Hallowicked teamed with Mike Quackenbush to form Team Frightning. Despite their status as one of the favorites of the tournament, the team was eliminated in the first round by Team Big Japan Wrestling (Daisuke Sekimoto, Kankuro Hoshino and Yuji Okabayashi), when Okabayashi forced Frightmare to tap out. On the second night of the tournament, Frightmare entered the Rey de Voladores ("King of the Fliers") tournament, but was defeated in his opening round four-way elimination match by Ophidian, who would go on to win the entire tournament. On the third and final night of the tournament Incoherence entered a ten tag team gauntlet match.

On 23 October Castagnoli represented BDK in the torneo cibernetico match, where they faced a team composed of Chikara originals. He eliminated himself from the match by low blowing Eddie Kingston, but his plan did not work out as Kingston came back to eliminate Tursas and win the match.

The following day, Obariyon unsuccessfully challenged Frightmare for the Chikara Young Lions Cup.
On December 3, 2016, it was announced that Soldier Ant would be forced to retire "due to injuries suffered in the war with Nazmaldun". During 2017, Silver Ant also left Chikara, leaving Fire Ant as the lone Ant left in the promotion. In 2018, Fire Ant descended into madness when he realizes that Ophidian (who was disguised as 17 in 2014) had inadvertently caused The Colony to collapse after saving Frightmare (who was a tecnico at the time) from being killed by Deucalion, which would lead to Hallowicked & Frightmare to be possessed by the Eye of Tyr, and Frightmare destroying the other 3 ants. During 2018, two new ants debuted: Thief Ant, and a second Green Ant.
They started working on a new album for 1995 and named it Esoptron. It was produced by Septic Flesh and George Zacharopoulos, recorded and mixed at Storm Studios in March - April 1995, mastered by Sonic Contact (France), and released by Holy Records Session vocalist Natalie Rassoulis joined for The Ophidian Wheel (1997) and again for A Fallen Temple (1998). The group split up in October 2003, and after the breakup, its members moved on to different or existing projects: Chris Antoniou continued involvement with Chaostar, which he formed in 1998, and Katsionis played guitar for Nightfall and keyboards for Firewind. TheDevilWorx formed a year after Septic Flesh's disbanding, and featured some members from Septic Flesh's original line-up.

After claims that Peck was mistreating Cabunny, including using him for animal testing to find a cure for male pattern baldness, a match was made between Peck and Cabana for Chikara's first internet pay-per-view High Noon on November 13. At the pay-per-view, Peck was defeated by Cabana, when Cabunny turned on him and hit him with a baton. Peck making his entrance in March 2012 Peck started off 2012 with a losing streak against Hallowicked, Sara Del Rey, Ophidian, Dasher Hatfield, and Chuck Taylor, which led to Veronica, who had begun showing interest in Chikara newcomer "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti, breaking off the relationship between herself and Peck, resulting in Peck becoming a fan favorite in the process.
On January 16, 2010, Frightmare made his debut for Evolve Wrestling, at the promotion's first ever show, teaming with Hallowicked and Mike Quackenbush in a six-man tag team match, where they defeated Akuma's Army (Gran Akuma, Icarus and Brodie Lee). 4 #61 (December 2010) He returns to Jordan and the other New Guardians (Hal Jordan, Carol Ferris, Sinestro, Larfleeze/Agent Orange, Saint Walker, Indigo-1, and himself) just as a robed figure gained the upper hand in their fight. Catching him off guard with a burst of his napalm-acidic blood, Atrocitus vented his long suppressed rage against the Guardians upon Krona, knowing of his Maltus origins and how he was once connected to the Guardians of the Universe. Without the rage entity to control Atrocitus' powers, Krona fell victim to his attack as the Red Lantern viciously bites him in the jugular. Using the Ion entity to counterattack, Krona used Ophidian to disrupt the New Guardians from fighting back (including Atrocitus).
Saturyne herself had lost a match to Kobald back on April 14 and had received threats of her own from The Batiri, so she offered to team with Del Rey against The Batiri at the Chikarasaurus Rex: How to Hatch a Dinosaur internet pay-per-view (iPPV). At the event on June 2, The Batiri lost the match via disqualification, when Delirious entered the ring and attacked both Del Rey and Saturyne. He then kissed all members of The Batiri on the forehead, before leaving the ringside area with them. The Batiri then aligned themselves with Ophidian and Delirious in their rivalry with UltraMantis Black, with Delirious claiming that as monsters they were discriminated against and true power lied in those who are victim to discrimination.
Later that day, The Colony advanced to the semifinals of the 2011 King of Trios by defeating BDK representatives Tim Donst, Delirious and Hammermeier, after Green Ant body slammed the interfering Tursas and then submitted Hammermeier with Luger's trademark finisher, the Torture Rack. (Chuck Taylor, Icarus and Johnny Gargano) in the finals to win the 2011 King of Trios. In July, Green Ant started a "Flex Express" bus tour that was featured on Chikara's video podcasts, in preparation for his singles match with Tursas, again imitating a similar tour Luger had done in 1993.

On May 15, 2011, in Austin, Texas, Tozawa captured the Anarchy Championship Wrestling (ACW) U–30 Young Gun Championship, the first title of his career, by defeating previous champion ACH, Arik Cannon and Gary Jay in a four–way match.
The elephantine or cetacean Kelika are blue with some purple. They tend to be slow, but they can take a beating. Their units are the Thumper (small, fast- moving creature with a natural buzzsaw attack), the Mongrel (gangly bipedal creature), the Behemoth (similar to an Ophidian, but slower and with more armor), and the mighty Leviathan (notable for being one of two units in the game which can take four arm-weapons, their spinning attack, and also for the phenomenal amount of punishment they can endure). The Kelika's indigenous tech includes an eclectic array of structures and armaments, including at the highest level the Summoner structure and the Missile limb-weapon, two of the most powerful weapons in the game.
When Kingston moved on to feuding with Castagnoli, Lee and Redwood began wrestling matches as a tag team. With victories over Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream and Ice Cream Jr.), Cheech Hernandez and K.C. Day, and the North Star Express (Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz), Lee and Redwood earned their right to challenge for the Campeonatos de Parejas. On October 17, 2009, Lee and Redwood challenged The Colony (Fire Ant and Soldier Ant) for the championship, but were defeated in two straight falls. Lee opted to give Redwood one more chance, but when he dropped the fall on October 19 in a match against The Osirian Portal (Amasis and Ophidian), Lee kicked him in the face, effectively ending The Roughnecks.
Haze (left) and Sara Del Rey in October 2010 Haze began wrestling for the Philadelphia–based Chikara in 2005. In November 2009 she was placed in her first major storyline in the company, when she aligned herself with Claudio Castagnoli, Ares, Pinkie Sanchez, Sara Del Rey, Tim Donst and Tursas to form the heel stable Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK). The stable has since been joined by Lince Dorado and Delirious. While in BDK Haze began regularly teaming with Del Rey and together the two of them picked up victories over tag teams such as The Osirian Portal (Amasis and Ophidian), Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream and Ice Cream, Jr.), The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton), Amazing Kong and Raisha Saeed, and Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw.
Prior to the announcement, Angelosetti had been preoccupied with his storyline rivalry with The Mysterious and Handsome Stranger, the masked alter ego of Archibald Peck, who had been forced to leave Chikara after losing to Angelosetti at Chikarasaurus Rex: How to Hatch a Dinosaur. In a promo on Chikara's YouTube Event Center, The Stranger promised to attend Under the Hood in person. Under the Hood also featured the first crowning of Chikara's Homecoming King and Queen, with Angelosetti's valet Veronica being the only one to publicly ask for votes in the upcoming ballot. Delirious, whose storyline rivalry with UltraMantis Black was one of the focal points of Chikara's season eleven The third match announced was a ten-man tag team match between The Spectral Envoy and the team of Delirious, Kobald, Kodama, Obariyon and Ophidian.
The rivalry started back in February 2012, when Delirious returned to Chikara and vowed to make UltraMantis Black pay for the two years he lost while being held under the spell of the Eye of Tyr, first by UltraMantis and then by the Bruderschaft des Kreuzes. Though UltraMantis had long since turned tecnico and announced his intention of righting his past wrongs, Delirious was adamant about making him suffer for two entire years as punishment for the years he had lost. During the following months, Delirious aligned himself with Ophidian and The Batiri (Kobald, Kodama and Obariyon) in his rivalry with UltraMantis and his Spectral Envoy stable, which also included Frightmare and Hallowicked. Delirious' first goal was to prevent UltraMantis from winning the 2012 King of Trios tournament.
Due to Sanchez's mental instability, BDK hand picked Lince Dorado as the follower to Donst and the next Young Lions Cup Champion. He entered the eighth annual Young Lions Cup tournament on August 28 and first defeated Gregory Iron in a singles match and then Adam Cole, Cameron Skyy, Keita Yano, Obariyon and Ophidian in a six-way elimination match to make it to the finals of the tournament. However, the following day Dorado was defeated in the finals by Frightmare, after BDK referee Derek Sabato was knocked unconscious and Chikara referee Bryce Remsburg ran in and performed a three count to give Chikara its first major victory over BDK. The weekend also saw the debut of Wink Vavasseur, an internal auditor hired by the Chikara Board of Directors to keep an eye on VonSteigerwalt.
These traits are unlikely to represent a specific ophidian form and the longitudinal axis is marked by a stylistically different means. The zoomorphic motif of the bracelets depicts a fantastic animal with the head and body of a serpent but the muzzle of a mammal, pointed or square, with a thick mane flowing on its back prolonged by a poly-lobed (multiple palmettes) body. The analysis of these Dacian symbols, performed by scholars—such as Florescu (1979), Pârvan (1926), and Bichir (1984)—conclude that the symbol of the snake or dragon appears on the Geto-Dacian La Tène bracelets and on the Dacian standard (flag) that can be seen on Trajan's Column. The Dacians dragon probably combines two meanings: the agility and redoubtable ferocity of the wolf with the protective role of the snake.
The Life Entity formed as the embodiment of life at the beginning of the universe. While at first it was not known whether the Entity was brought into the universe by accident or by design, it was recently established that apparently the Life Entity was formed when the celestial being named Perpetua used the Life Force to create the multiverse. After driving away the forces of the Black, the Entity was weakened as it was divided into the seven colors that led to the development of the Emotional Spectrum and other numerous organisms. This saw the birth of Ion (the Green Entity of willpower), Parallax (the yellow entity of fear), the Predator (the violet Entity of love), Ophidian (the orange Entity of avarice), the Butcher (the red Entity of rage), Adara (the blue Entity of hope), and Proselyte (the indigo Entity of compassion).
On June 15, Helios lost his Young Lions Cup after Fire Ant defeated Vin Gerard in the finals of the sixth Young Lions Cup tournament. On September 6, Helios teamed up with Tim Donst to take part in the first-ever La Lotería Letal tournament, where they lost to Icarus and Ultimo Breakfast in the first round. On November 11 at Cibernetico Begins, Helios was a part of Team Equinox (Equinox, Fire Ant, Soldier Ant, Worker Ant, Hydra, Tim Donst and Mike Quackenbush) as they defeated Team Vin Gerard (Gerard, STIGMA, Lince Dorado, UltraMantis Black, Crossbones, Amasis, Ophidian and Eddie Kingston) in a 16-man elimination tag team match. At Face With A View on December 12, Helios formed The Future is Now with Equinox and Lince Dorado and they defeated The UnStable (Vin Gerard, Colin Delaney and STIGMA).
After teasing dissension, all three members of the UnStable united and attacked Amasis and Ophidian. On July 26 at Chikarasaurus Rex: King of Show, the Osirian Portal teamed with the returning Drake Younger, who hadn't forgotten what Gerard and Stigma did to him in August 2008, and together the three of them gained a measure of revenge on the UnStable by defeating them in a six-man tag team match. Even though the UnStable had seemingly reunited, tension rose again during the Young Lions Cup VIII weekend, when Delaney eliminated Stigma from a 30 Man Countdown Showdown match. On September 10 UltraMantis Black announced that he had recruited Stigma to be a part of his team of Chikara originals for the seventh annual torneo cibernetico match on October 23, where they would face the rudo stable Bruderschaft des Kreuzes.
Their team won when Castagnoli pinned Kingston. After picking up the three points needed in order to challenge for the Campeonatos de Parejas in just one weekend, Castagnoli and Jaggi defeated The Colony (Fire Ant and Soldier Ant) on March 20, 2010, to win the titles, making Castagnoli the first two-time Campeon de Parejas in Chikara history. In April Castagnoli, Jaggi and Tursas defeated the teams of The Osirian Portal (Amasis and Ophidian) and Sara Del Rey, Team Perros del Mal (El Alebrije, Cuije and El Orientál), Team Big Japan Wrestling (Daisuke Sekimoto, Kankuro Hoshino and Yuji Okabayashi) and The Colony (Fire Ant, Soldier Ant and Green Ant) over a three-day tournament to win the 2010 King of Trios. On October 23 Ares captained BDK in the torneo cibernetico match, where they faced a team composed of Chikara originals.
The figure finally reveals himself as Krona, the rogue Guardian, long believed dead – the bandages serving to help restore his body after the damage he has sustained in his previous encounters – and tells Jordan that prior to his banishment by the Guardians, he was the caretaker responsible for protecting the entities, which explains how he's aware of the orange power of avarice and its location as revealed during Hal Jordan's first encounter with Larfleeze,Green Lantern (vol. 4) #60 (December 2010) and that is why he can control them and the abilities they possess. Despite the combined efforts of the New Guardians (sans Sinestro and Carol Ferris), Krona still managed to overwhelm them with the assistance of Ophidian. Immobilized by Ophidian's disruptive powers, Krona discovered the location of the Butcher from the avarice entity, and expunged it from Atrocitus's power battery.
On January 1, 2009, The Future is Now (Helios and Dorado) lost their first match together against Team F.I.S.T. (Icarus, Gran Akuma). At the 2009 King of Trios tournament, The Future is Now defeated Team DDT (Kota Ibushi, KUDO and Michael Nakazawa) and The Osirian Portal (Amasis, Ophidian and Escorpion Egipcio) in the first and quarterfinal rounds, respectively, before losing to Team F.I.S.T. (Icarus, Gran Akuma and Chuck Taylor) in the semi-finals. Following the tournament, The Future is Now then began a feud with The Osirian Portal, resulting in Helios defeating Escorpion Egipcio in a singles match at Behind The 8 Ball on April 25 and The Future is Now defeating The Osirian Portal at The Bobliographon event the following day. On the first show of 2010, Lince Dorado turned on Equinox and left the Future is Now to join the new heel stable Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK).
On October 20, a rematch between Peck and Cabana, who is not a regular member of the Chikara roster, was made official for High Noon, with Cabana claiming that Peck was mistreating Cabunny. On May 11, 2011, it was announced that Amasis, a member of longtime Chikara group The Osirian Portal, had suffered "severe injuries in a non-wrestling accident" that would sideline him indefinitely, forcing him out of the 12 Large: Summit. On June 23 it was announced that Amasis had been forced to retire from professional wrestling due to his injuries. Chikara's Director of Fun Wink Vavasseur, who had brought Hieracon to Osirian Portal and had backed him as Amasis' replacement in the 12 Large: Summit, was dismayed when fans instead voted Ophidian to take his place in the tournament, and announced that with Amasis gone and the fans turning on Hieracon, he was disbanding The Osirian Portal.
The first match on the iPPV itself was a tag team match between Fire Ant and Soldier Ant of The Colony and Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks, who were accompanied to the ring by one of their trainers, Marty Jannetty, who made his Chikara debut. Towards the end of the match, The Young Bucks performed double superkicks on both members of The Colony and then went for their finishing maneuver More Bang for Your Buck, which Soldier Ant managed to block with his knees, before rolling up Matt for the win. With the win, The Colony earned the right to challenge for the Campeonatos de Parejas. (Left to right) Ophidian and Amasis of The Osirian Portal The second match on the iPPV saw Sara Del Rey facing former BDK stablemate, ring announcer Jakob Hammermeier, who performed his own ring announcement prior to the start of the match.
In the latter half of 2009 the UnStable started a long losing streak, which included a first round loss in the 2010 King of Trios, during which Stigma and Gerard began showing signs of a tecnico turn by making sure that Amasis was fine after their match against him and Ophidian on March 20, 2010. Gerard faced Amasis again, this time in a singles match, on May 23 and managed to score his first victory in six months only to learn later that Colin Delaney had interfered in the match. In a blog entry on Chikara's official website Gerard attacked Delaney, calling him selfish and warned him not to interfere in his and Stigma's deciding match against The Osirian Portal on June 27. On June 27 at Faded Scars and Lines Delaney interfered in the match and helped Stigma and Gerard defeat the Osirian Portal.
On May 19, 2012, Shane Storm returned to Chikara during the promotion's tenth anniversary weekend, teaming with fellow Chikara alumni Crossbones, Jolly Roger, Lance Steel and Rorschach in a ten-man tag team match, where they were defeated by Jakob Hammermeier, Kobald, Kodama, Obariyon and Tim Donst. Working again as Stigma, he also wrestled at Wrestling is Fun!'s–Chikara's sister promotion–"free-per-view" on October 27, losing to UltraMantis Black. On February 8, 2015, Storm returned to take part in the third annual National Pro Wrestling Day, teaming with Amasis, Argus, Dasher Hatfield, Fire Ant, Jervis Cottonbelly, Marion Fontaine, Mark Angelosetti, Ophidian and Worker Ant in a twenty-man main event tag team match, where they defeated Blaster McMassive, El Hijo del Ice Cream, Ice Cream Jr., Juan Francisco de Coronado, Max Smashmaster, Mr. Azerbaijan, Oleg the Usurper, Prakash Sabar, Proletariat Boar of Moldova and Shayne Hawke.
On November 22, 2009 at Chikara's Season eight finale titled Three Fisted Tales, following the conclusion of the main event between The Colony (Fire Ant and Soldier Ant) and The Osirian Portal (Amasis and Ophidian), the two masked men from months prior invaded the ring and one of them stated that a war was coming and that he was tired of waiting. Green Ant and Carpenter Ant came out to support their fellow Colony members, in addition to the entire tecnico locker room. Mike Quackenbush and Claudio Castagnoli confronted the men, however, one of the men demanded to meet the man with the real power and pointed at UltraMantis Black, who had been doing commentary during the main event. UltraMantis handed the Eye of Tyr to Vökoder before entering the ring, where he said that he was sick of the men and claimed to not even know who they were.
He seeks to locate the supposed reservoir and destroy all of the Lantern Corps in order to prevent the end of another universe. Relic succeeds in ending the Blue Lantern Corps and destroying the Green Lantern Central Power Battery, and the planet Oa. After Oa's destruction, the Entity, Ophidian, Ion (who had been released from the Green Lantern Central Power Battery), Adara (who fled the Blue Lantern Central Power Battery prior to its destruction), Proselyte and the Predator seek out Kyle Rayner, whom they believe can locate both Relic and the reservoir in order to save the universe, even if it means sacrificing themselves. The entities take Kyle Rayner's body and flee to Ysmault where they free the Butcher from Atrocitus. The only Entity who remained unaware of their plans is Parallax, who was currently being controlled by Sinestro during the Forever Evil story arc (which was running concurrently with Lights Out).
Del Rey appearing for Chikara in 2012 Del Rey had been wrestling for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania–based Chikara since May 2006, mainly as a fan favorite. In November 2009, she was placed in her first major storyline in the company, when she turned into a villain and aligned herself with Claudio Castagnoli, Ares, Daizee Haze, Pinkie Sanchez, Tim Donst and Tursas to form the stable Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK). While in BDK, Del Rey began regularly teaming with Haze, and together the two of them picked up victories over tag teams such as The Osirian Portal (Amasis and Ophidian), Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream and Ice Cream, Jr.), The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton), Amazing Kong and Raisha Saeed, and Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw. On September 19, 2010, Del Rey wrestled Japanese joshi legend Manami Toyota in only her second match in the United States, when she and Claudio Castagnoli were defeated in a tag team match by Toyota and Mike Quackenbush.
Aside from the orange light user and those listed as "Former Members", there are not actually individuals who hold membership in the Orange Lantern Corps (in a conventional sense, there is no such Corps, only the orange light user himself/herself), but rather duplicates, referred to as "constructs" formed of orange light energy after the original persons were "consumed" and had their identities (later stated to be their very souls) "stolen". These construct Lanterns were designed by artist Philip Tan, and unlike the mostly-humanoid aliens who are members of the various Lantern Corps, most of them are bizarre and monstrous in shape. The graphic novel collection "Green Lantern: Agent Orange" includes several pages of Tan's original sketches for these creatures, including an unused concept for the Entity powering the Corps, a crocodile-like beast with a skeletal cage on its head. This Entity concept was later replaced by Ophidian (see below).
However, on February 25, 2012, Delirious attacked UltraMantis in the middle of Spectral Envoy's match against F.I.S.T. for the Campeonatos de Parejas, resulting in F.I.S.T. retaining their title. The next night, Delirious, now able to speak in a coherent, intelligible manner due to smashing the Eye of Tyr, cut a promo stating that he remembered everything he had suffered while under the control of the Eye of Tyr and its holders, and he vowed to make UltraMantis suffer until 2014 as revenge for the two years that he had lost since UltraMantis first used the Eye of Tyr on him. On June 2 at Chikarasaurus Rex: How to Hatch a Dinosaur, Delirious formed a new alliance with Kobald, Kodama and Obariyon of The Batiri. At the following pay-per-view, Under the Hood on December 2, Delirious, Kobald, Kodama, Obariyon and Ophidian were defeated in a ten-man tag team match by UltraMantis Black, Frightmare, Hallowicked, Blind Rage and Crossbones, with Delirious being pinned by UltraMantis for the win.
